Right there. He’s dual at best… Did you know that at the time Britain did not allow for dual citizenship and citizenship at the time was based on the father’s citizenship? I had never read this particular quote before (above), and it seems clear that the Obama people KNOW this is an issue (and doesn’t even really have anything to do with the whole BC issue–which I think he’s hiding with too). Further, I don’t think even producing the BC clears this one up for him. His father is/was Kenyan. Kenya WAS a territory or whatever of Britain. His father’s citizenship passed to his children, meaning BO. So even if he became a US citizen or even if he is dual American. I think it’s pretty clear he was not natural born citizen. Oh, and I also read somewhere to day that BO claimed he’s a US citizen because of the 14th Amendment?
Huh? I’m a US citizen because I’m a US citizen, not because of an Amendment to the Constitution. I just went and looked at 14th Amendment. Went to read The British Nationality Act of 1948 (once again, amazing the number of things I have learned in all of this!).
Here is one applicable passage:
“—(1) A person born out of wedlock and legitimated by the subsequent marriage of his parents shall, as from the date of the marriage or of the commencement of this Act, whichever is later, be treated, for the purpose of determining whether he is a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies, or was a British subject immediately before the commencement of this Act, as if he had been born legitimate.”
I do believe this one applies to BO because I think there was a question of if his parents were married at the time, etc. But this says even if they got married after he was born, then he’s under this law. Right?
And here’s a question: Do the laws of Britain have any bearing on this? I think they do for substantiating who belongs to what country, but what if the laws of two countries conflict?
In any case, I think the BNA1948 shows he was at very least a dual citizen, and in my opinion then not a “natural born citizen” — unless the high court thinks that counts too…

Just a quick scan of BO’s latest campaign fund report shows Transfers from the BO Victory Fund of $83 million. He lists no transfers out of the campaign fund but does them as “Other Disbursements” that go primarily to the state DNC and even back to the national DNC that should have recieved the funds in the first place from the Victory Fund to disburse to the state DNCs. That amount is $34 million that reflects how much his campaign fund is inflated by.
MOST Interesting: The BO fund reports $30 million and the Victory fund shows $8 million cash on hand, but the DNC report is not posted yet. That is FEC Committee ID# C00435560 for the curious.

there are sort of 2 ways that Obama might not even be a citizen.
1.) If he was born outside USA then he is not a citizen.
2.) He was officially adopted in Indonesia. They have now obtained proof of the divorce between Soetoro and mother. Apparent the divorce gives evidence that he was adopted. The divorce paper lists Berry Soetoro as the child of Lolo Soetoro. This is most likely the reason they are saying he is not a citizen of USA.
Now I have a personal opinion that I have felt would be hard to prove. My personal opinion is that he is not a citizen of USA but is a citizen of Indonesia. There are some technicalities in this view that I do not know about. For example is it possible for the mother to become Indonesian but not the children. I think not but am not positive on this because there are laws of 2 countries involved. It may require a world court to decide on his correct citizenship. A world court that spends it time on issues that involve the laws in 2 different countries.
But basically He is totally not even close to being able to be president legally in my opinion.

One of the arguments floating arond is that he was likely adopted and became an Indonesion citizen during that time. However, in order to become a US citizen again he would have to re-apply, so to speak, and provide an oath. My wording may not be exactly on the mark, yet the argument on this was that there should have been a record of him doing so.

On the MSNBC video, some on another blog have posited that this is the director’s cut of the show and was not actually video that was shown live. In other words, it wasn’t an “open mic” that happened to pick up what he said, rather it was an always on mic that was meant to pick it up so that the “team” could review the show later to see what went right/what went wrong, and make the show better. (supposedly anyway)
That actually makes some sense to me, and why if the aired version ever comes out, you will probably not hear this ranting. Also, they posited that this may be coming out now because of hard feelings over the lay-offs (?) at MSNBC.

Was in an argument all day yesterday trying to explain at least some of the BC issue to people who have willingly looked the other way. At one point one of them said, “Well, now you’re talking about Indonesia. What does that have to do with anything? If he was born in Hawaii, nothing else matters. I swear if one argument falls, you people just find another one to make.”
I think what he was missing is that, that’s exactly what we’ve been coming up against. Every time you start looking into one question, it leads to eight more. Berg has in fact stated as such… that he started looking at the BC thing and then found out about Indonesia and things didn’t square there either, and then he started trying to find records of BO’s return, and nothing…

I cannot stand this and have to post to set the record straight cause I cannot believe the amount of misinformation among the comments.
There is a difference between citizenship and natural born citizenship
This is why Donofrio’s case has got a great chance. It doesn’t matter if Obama is a citizen or not. He could have been born on the steps of the White House with a million witnesses and a golden birth certificate… but he’s still NOT A NUTURAL BORN CITIZEN because his father was a citizen of Britain (which he admits on his website). The Constitution defines the POTUS must be a Natural Born Citizen which is defined as BOTH PARENTS being citizens and also being born on US soil. The Constitution also has a grandfather clause to allow for the people that drafted the Constitution to be POTUS… so thus the last part of the clause of Article II Sect. 1 (and I’m paraphrasing) “..must be a natural born citizen or a citizen at the time of the drafting of the Constitution.”
That’s why the MSM reports are wrong when they say we are challenging his citizenship or his birth certificate. It no longer is about the birth certificate. OBAMA IS NOT A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN AND NOT QUALIFIFIED UNDER THE CONSTITUTION TO BE POTUS
Plain and simple and this is why this is being taken seriously by SCOTUS and why this is becoming so big now because there is a very real possibility the Supreme Court will rule in favor of the Constitution!!!

What they decide to do will send a tremendous message to all as to where the US may now be heading.

When I read that, I went “Huh?” THEN I went to look up what that Amendment was about, and their argument made absolutely no sense. Not to digress during the day, for migrane sufferers – look at your diet… I noticed that each time I have cheese, I have the worst migranes… lasting 2 – 3 days.. nausea, going to the bathroom etc.
I cut out cheese (mold ?) as far as I can – no point suffering for a bit of cheese. Usually I can trace it back rather quickly if I have a migrane . Manage to get it under control quite well.

I started working on reforating them (theu’re going to be features in three PumaPAC venues, but, I “lost” 4 of them in the maze that is VISTA OS. I have them still, just have to locate them…. So far SCOTUS has not contacted Donofrio yet… but we could be waiting until Monday to hear their decision on whether they are going to take up the case or not… sigh… I hate waiting… I’ll post immediately as soon as we hear anything…

Regarding the latest misogynist outburst on MSNBC. This is why we need to push for the option of Cable TV a la Carte. We should have the consumer rights to refuse to subsidize misogynist stations such as this with our “basic cable” payment. Parents Television Council already has a Cable Choice initiative going so we don’t need to reinvent the wheel to fight for our rights we just need to sign on. Why should the five old men who run the Media Cartel here in the united States decide which channels come into your home over a connection which you pay to rent. That would be like your landlord choosing who could come through your front door which you pay to rent.

A place that you might want to protest this latest MSNBC load of crap is…. go to yAHOO, click on Finance orver on the left side of the screen in the list of pages. then type GE (which owns MSNBC) into the company symbol look up. Then click on the message board and leave a comment regarding your oppinion of GE and MSNBC. Or try this link. Maybe it’s just a difference in perspective.
I remember what it was like as a child in the 40′s. How families struggled to rise up after depression and world war. Building something during the 50′s, when we, as a nation, had low prices, no inflation or debt, and the highest standard of living in the world. I was never what you’d call a ‘rich’ kid, although my family was fairly well off. I worked hard and every time i started to get ahead of the game, we would have a recession, like 72-3, and 81-812, and in the early 90′s and….
And now, these are the very worst conditions I’ve seen in my whole life. I don’t think ‘bailouts’ are anything more than a temporary fix, at best. I think a Depression would be a luxury, compared to the absolute Destitution we are facing.
I hope my intuitive ‘hunch’ that “Social Security” will end within a year is wrong.
So, no, I didn’t find that crap funny at all. Either one of them. Is this what PUMA has become?

It does not matter if this clip from MSNBC aired with the verbal abuse or not. We should still not be forced to subsidize sexist content against our will and abusing a coworker in this manner even by forcing them to listen to this outburst is sexual harassment. I am not at all shocked that this goes on at MSNBC. So is MSNBC saying it doesn’t matter because it didn’t air? Well it matters to me.

Wait… see if you’ve heard this one… Talk show host who rose through ranks to top of daytime says she will never have the female VP candidate on her show as that would show partisanship (or something like that) WHILE she appears for the VP’s rival, had him on her show a couple of times, featured him in her magazine, and then after VP candidate loses, Ms. Talk Show Host whines that she wasn’t given dibs on an interview?
