Justice for Aasiya. Finally.

The walking bag of filth (her husband) was found guilty today, nearly two years after attacking her, stabbing her over 40 times, and beheading her.

This trial became a bit of a circus for the local media up in these parts. The murderer attempted to derail the process numerous times – filing motions, firing his lawyers, finally acting as his own attorney for the 14 day trial. His defense? He was an “abused” husband.

The jury took less than one hour to find him guilty. He will be sentenced next month, facing 25 years to life.

He should be lynched.

Finally Renee Redmer of Wisconsin may be able to rest in peace. Renee, mother of two, disappeared in January 2009. Her boyfriend, Brandon Mueller, strangled her and burned her body with the help of his mother and her boyfriend. Renee’s ashes were disposed of in Lake Winnebago. A friend of Mueller’s later found out what had happened and told police. Mueller has been sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. His mother and her boyfriend were also sentenced to prison for their help.

Renee didn’t have to die. Mueller had been conviced FOUR other times for assaulting women in the past. The justice system failed Renee Redmer and her children.

Rest in peace, Nicole Berrios, 19, of Pennsyvlania. On December 23, Nicole was shot and killed by the father of her two year old son. Nicole’s mother was in the home at the time and in coming to her daughter’s aid, she too was shot. Berrios’ nine year old niece called 911. The killer also shot himself, but it appears he is surviving his injury.

Darlene Williams is recovering in the hospital in Mississippi after being stabbed earlier this week by her ex boyfriend Antonio Smith, who is being held without bond. Let’s hope she stays safe.

Rest in peace, Tracey Ann Pytka, of Rhode Island, who had kicked her husband out of the house a few weeks before she was killed. The husband, Peter Pytka, was arrested for murdering Tracy. He recently killed himself in prison. The Pytkas had three children together, aged 6,8 and 14. The oldest discovered his mother’s body. Family and friends have set up a memorial fund for Tracey to cover the expenses of raising her children.

RIP Erin Jade Smith, 19, of New York. She was pregnant at the time she was strangled and stabbed to death by her 35 year old boyfriend, Arteamus Wells, who has confessed.

Life imprisonment without parole please.

Juan Carlos-Cruz sentenced to nine years for plot to murder his wife, Jennifer Campbell. The man winked and smiled at his wife as he was led out of the courtroom. Pray he serves all nine years.

RIP Rebecca Sedille, 50, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who was shot to death by her husband (now in custody) on December 21.

RIP Merissa Kelley, 31, mother of two. Her ex-husband and the father of the children has been arrested in Indiana. He has admitted to a motive. Kelley’s mother found her body a week ago. Kelley was strangled to death.
