Girls beat up Iran cleric over dress code
By Ben Brumfield and Shirzad Bozorgmehr

Tehran, Iran (CNN) — They may be a far cry from their Western counterparts fighting for the acceptance to breast-feed — or go topless — in public, but two girls clobbered a cleric recently in a small town in Iran when he admonished one of them to cover herself more completely.
The cleric said he asked “politely,” but the girl’s angry reaction and some pugilistic double-teaming with her friend landed the holy man in the hospital, according to an account Monday in the semiofficial Mehr News Agency.
Hojatoleslam Ali Beheshti said he encountered the girls on his way to the mosque in the village of Shahmirzad for noon prayers in late August.
Women’s bodies: The public perception of private parts
He told one of the girls to cover up, the report said.
“She responded by telling me to cover my eyes, which was very insulting to me,” Beheshti said. So he asked her a second time to cover up and also to put a lid on what he felt was verbal abuse.
She hit the man of the cloth, and he hit the ground.
“I don’t remember what happened after that,” he said. “I just felt her kicks and heard her insults.”
Beheshti, who emerged from the infirmary three days later, said he did not file a complaint against the girls.
But he doesn’t mind the local prosecutor’s investigation into the matter either “as long as the case helps the cause of Islamic hijab.”
The girls may have put the “jab” into “hijab,” but fighting with morality police or private individuals telling women to cover up is rare in small towns. It’s more common in larger cities, where women are more likely to take a stand.

It’s a great story, and if women wrested their rights and demanded equality in the Muslim countries, their whole society would benefit. That’s unlikely to happen because it is women who are the enforcers of the oppression, especially older women. It’s a double edge coin. On the one hand, women are mistreated, but on the other hand, the benefit of being dependent takes away all worries because men must provide for women. It’s a heavy economic burden that falls on men, that women want to protect.

Btw, the hijab is just the scarf, not the full cover (burqa) depicted on the photo.

I mean a two sided coin.

I am glad the story finally made it to the Main Stream CNN.com

I hope it will spur other girls to do the same. A swift kick to the gonads ought to do the trick. But I love the fact that these girls are not recognizable in their Burqa so there is no retaliation against them.

I didn’t know there’s going to be another movie out about the killing of Osama?

Let’s suppose for argument’s sake that the movie is solely to blame. Why then is the Obama administration cooperating with Hollywood for the soon-to-be blockbuster flick about the killing of Osama bin Laden, “Zero Dark Thirty,” which will have exponentially more exposure and publicity than the paltry YouTube video in question? Undoubtedly this film will anger many Muslims, like those who shouted, “Obama, Obama, we are all Osama” outside the embassy in Cairo on September 11.

The Obama administration’s foreign policy in the Middle East is one of appeasement, contradictions, and fecklessness. Or is this what “leading from behind” looks like?

This is the sakashite the dumbfux worship. And, we could add sooo much more:

10-part report raises questions about narrative of Obama’s early life

newly published report raises questions about some established narratives in the early life of President Obama, suggesting the president’s upbringing was one of privilege and not hardship.

The Washington Examiner published a 10-part report detailing Obama’s path to the White House. Some of the information appears to conflict with the narratives the Obamas and the Democratic Party have pushed, most recently at the party’s convention in Charlotte.

At the convention, Michelle Obama said they “were both raised by families who didn’t have much in the way of money or material possessions.”

Examiner Executive Editor Mark Tapscott questioned that.

“I’m sure he had a difficult childhood given the circumstances with his parents, but from a financial standpoint and social standpoint and so forth , it was not an underprivileged childhood,” Tapscott said.

The Examiner reports that the Indonesian neighborhood, Menteng, where Obama’s mother and step-father raised the young Barry Soetoro was the most exclusive in Jakarta.

Later sent to live with his grandparents in Hawaii where his grandmother was a bank vice president, Obama attended the exclusive Punahoe school. He later went on to Columbia University and Harvard Law School.

In his first job as a Chicago community organizer, Obama rejected more lucrative offers.

But while he worked in the city’s impoverished Southside, he lived in exclusive Hyde Park.

There are some nasty stories circulating about the circumstances about our Ambassador. Some say he was found alive and taken to the hospital and others report battery and sex abuse. Hannity is hollering about sodomy. This is all bad for HRC. She should have stayed away from the sack-of-$#1t administration. Boobery and treachery.

Another quote from the Romney tapes that the media doesn’t even want to talk about,

” ‘The president’s foreign policy, in my opinion, is formed in part by a perception he has that his magnetism, and his charm, and his persuasiveness is so compelling that he can sit down with people like Putin and Chávez and Ahmadinejad, and that they’ll find that we’re such wonderful people that they’ll go on with us, and they’ll stop doing bad things. And it’s an extraordinarily naive perception.’ ”

And now Obama is running those ads of himself on TV in the ME, as if “his magnetism, and his charm, and his persuasiveness is so compelling,” people will stop rioting.

8

yttik 09.20.12 at 6:06 pm

If the problems in the ME could be solved with charm, persuasiveness, reason, do these idiots not realize women would have done that already??? Sometimes the only way to deal with bullies is to do what these two girls who clobbered the cleric did, fight back.

Obama’s stepfather Sotero was a middle management executive in an oil company, iirc, and the boy went to a private school in Indonesia.

His grandmother rose to some management position in the bank in Honolulu, but it’s not clear what her job at the bank was when he went to live with them. Must have been doing pretty well to send him to the fancy Honolulu private school from age to 10 to graduation.

Michelle’s father had some public utililty type job that made a good middle income. Plus whatever he got for semi-official work for Mayor Daley.

http://www.MUR6142.com has been updated with BO funny money games. There is a comparison to the 2008 election there also.

The Bobots are going wild on Huffy Post, all over again declaring him the billion dollar candidate. But he is behind where he was in 2008 and has more unitemized donations and transfers into the campaign fund to keep up with his spending.

I’ve signed up for Krav Maga – an 8 week beginner course in Israeli “close combat”. If you don’t know what it is.. below is a short description. I figured that as frucked up as the world is today, it doesn’t hurt to know how to respond in a personal attack situation. Women are always vulnerable to attacks by men and I don’t want to be helpless – my brown belt in Karate is not much use in a real life situation. I wonder how many women here ever feel threatened by family, “friends”, strangers – as we all get older, our level of vulnerability gets higher..I think.

” Krav Maga is a noncompetitive martial art and eclectic self-defense system developed in Israel that involves striking techniques, wrestling and grappling. Krav Maga is known for its focus on real-world situations and extremely efficient, brutal counter-attacks.[1] It was derived from street-fighting skills developed by Hungarian-Israeli martial artist Imi Lichtenfeld, who made use of his training as a boxer and wrestler, as a means of defending the Jewish quarter against fascist groups in Bratislava[2] in the mid-to-late 1930s.”

Poor Daniel Zundra, he’s telling us that we’re unfair to his messiahama. He’s very concerned about da wimminz and wimminz rights. No mention, nor recognition of the uber sexism and misogyny that was the obots stock and trade against the NLT qualified (read: competent, experienced, intelligent, hard working) candidate in ’08.
Daniel and his Obot brethren insult us by thinking we don’t recall how they treated women in’08.
So much for mansplainin’.

Hey, Daniel, go screw yourself.

freddiebrown,

They certainly are nutjobs, and going wild right now too, before the election. I do not understand why Obama is doing so well as he seems. The liberal media is AWFUL in how they cover for him and sting Romney every chance they get. But then again, Anderson Cooper had access to the ledger of the ambassador that was murdered and leaked it’s contents. Otherwise BO would still be claiming it was a protest gone bad.

I feel like I am seeing the world gone mad.

18

freddiebrown 09.23.12 at 8:25 pm

Headclunker. I don’t know anything about the ambassador’s ledger.
It is very disconcerting that someone like Obama continues to do well in spite of who he is. Many here say not to pay attention to the polls…but it is difficult not to.

I fear another 4 years.

I hope Bill Clinton tones his enthusiasm about Obama as Nov 4 comes around. He is doing Obama a huge favor as people are seeing “double”..but Bill is not running !

good evening my PUMA family ! It has almost been four years since I joined this great blog, and today I would like to share one sad thought that is crossing my mind. What has happened to our Hillary ? What is she afraid of? How could she be so “loyal” to this president up to the point to hurt her own career? When I see how she has handled the situation of the killings in Lybia, I wonder myself what has Obama done to her that she is putting up with so much that says the opposite of whom she is, and the opposite of what many people like me fought very hard to get her elected in 2008.
Can anybody explain this to me? Have we lost her to Obama?
Four diplomats have been killed and she has joined the list of accomplices of this administration, and it is very sad ! I’d wished she had told the truth and break her ties with the administration and prove that he has had enough !

24

Headclunker 09.24.12 at 9:21 pm

I am starting an Obama list for posting on Bobot boards. What do you think? Does anyone have anything to add?

Failed Economic Policies – Unemployment and Poverty
-Stimulus for Wallstreet with disregard for Mainstreet
-Loss of Credit Rating through market inflation and devaluation of the dollar
-Increased Health Insurance Costs with unbridled Taxation Pending.

Failed Environmental Policies
-Failed Crap and Trade Scam
-Failed Green Energy – Solyndra and Jobs for China
-Weak Regulatory Authorities – Understaffed, Untrained with antiquated regulations
-Gulf Disaster turned over to Oil & Gas black ops for pennies on the dollar damages

Failed Foreign Policies
-Nuclear Iran Up and Coming
-Abandonment of Israel to Fascists with the Rise of the Fourth Reich
-Indulgence for violent islamo-fascists who are now demanding more $apologies$
-Exploitation of the death of Osama Bin Laden
-Dead diplomats and news blackouts of the middle-east Terrorist Activities

Failed Immigration Policies – Fast and Furious
-Inadequate border control
-No consensus on current illegal residents.

And then there is the Rampant War on Women that Obama himself has exploited against female opponents and no relief for pay disparity because OBAMA DROPPED THE BALL

Don’t believe any of them… Including Slate!

From Slare:
Ruby Cramer introduces us to Dean Chambers, whose site Unskewed Polls “has re-weighted national polling data from organizations like Gallup, ARG, and the three networks, to fit the Rasmussen Reports partisan trends.”
What does that mean? At RealClearPolitics, which averages all national polls, Barack Obama is leading Mitt Romney by 3.7 points. At UnskewedPolls, Romney leads Obama by 7.8 points. If that held up, it would be the largest victory for any presidential candidate since George H.W. Bush thrashed Michael Dukakis.
I talked to Chambers this afternoon; he picked up the phone while Fox News played in the background. “Doug Schoen and Pat Caddell are on right now,” he said, “and they’re making the same point about sampling.”

First question: Why use Rasmussen as the basis for the un-skewing, instead of exit polling from the last few elections? According to Rasmussen, there are now more self-identified Republicans in America than Democrats. But even in the GOP landslide year of 2010, Republicans and Democrats were tied; in the good Democratic years of 2006 and 2008, the Ds outnumbered the Rs.

28

freddiebrown 09.24.12 at 11:09 pm

Headclunker – How about his claim on being transparent. He will go line by line on his website… Nothing transparent about him except his lies.

A friend of my husband from Wisconsin said he can’t vote for Romney cos he’s a Mormon…boy did he get an earful for that. People are so stupid – they’d rather have a total fraud than a mormon. The problem with these cross carrying people taking the religious high road makes me mad.

29

freddiebrown 09.24.12 at 11:12 pm

Head clunker – Can I copy and paste your # 24 on CNN articles ? I have not posted anything in a few days – sometimes don’t have time to write up anything but love to try knocking some sense to the Obama suckers – not that it would do any good.

30

freddiebrown 09.24.12 at 11:25 pm

Oscarp – I was thinking the same thing… Hillary seems to have gotten the memo and is talking the same crap talk. On Erin Burnett on CNN tonight, she was quite vocal that practically everyone in the White House is blaming the video when clearly the Libyan President came out to say that it was pre-meditated. She asked what does it take to get the message correct here.

“Today at the UN general assembly in New York, Hillary Clinton met with the leaders of four countries where anti-American protests have broken out, including Libya where Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other americans were killed.

While secretary clinton met with world leaders, while President Barack Obama was noticeably absent. He scheduled no one-on-one meetings today with foreign officials.”

As everyone also knows by now, President Obama would rather do an interview with the Gals of the “View” than meet with World leaders…in case they question him about his thoughts on Libya and he would have to tell them…
“don’t worry about it… it’s just a bump in the road..

I’m pasting a comment Uppity Woman made on her blog. Although it’s about her support for Still4Hill.com I think it’s appropriate to re-post in this thread.

Uppity Woman, on September 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM said:

Still4Hill is and has always been a real Hillary supporter. Not fair weather. Real. She understands that people, family, friends, politicians, can do a hundred good things we approve of and as soon as they do one that doesn’t meet our expectations, you don’t roll over the person with a bus. Especially not if you don’t know the details behind it in terms of Long Range. She believes Hillary is right for the country and doesn’t easily forget it when the going gets rough. She does what she thinks is right not what’s right This Minute Only. She also understands that Hillary works for Obama and not for the electorate. She isn’t easily distracted by a brass band or a bright shiney object. She sees Hillary as Human, which incidentally, she is. I respect Still4Hill. I respect people who do what they feel is right even when it’s not the easy thing to do in the face of junk yard dogs straining at their chains to trash you. She stays focused. It’s why I have a sidebar link to her as the one source for what Hillary is up to today.
