Apologizing for the freedom of speech of American citizens constitutes an assault on our Constitutionally enshrined freedoms. On a more visceral level, it also makes it look like the US government has some sympathy for the maniacs in the pictures above. And it cheapens the horrific deaths of brave public servants like Ambassador Stevens, by betraying either deep ignorance or deep misunderstanding of bedrock American values. Or both.
At least Jimmy Carter didn’t friggin apologize to the Ayatollah. Damn but obama is a jackass.

It’s way past time for the US to stop trying to justify violence by using the excuse that somebody’s “feelings were hurt”. Hurt feelings don’t cause violence, entitled young men with no respect for human life acting like thugs is what causes violence. The video is just an excuse, like when some psycho shoots his wife and kid and the media tries to claim he was just upset because he’d lost his job. No he wasn’t, he was an entitled jerk who thought his hurt feelings had more value then the lives of the people he killed.
If you look at the protesters, they look a lot like our own rioters in the US. A few hundred young male thugs trying to show the world how powerful they are. Libya has something like six million people, NOT rioting. If we had real leadership in this country, we wouldn’t be apologizing and pretending that this video was some sort of justification for a small percent of the population’s violence.

The reporter on the scene is reporting that on Fox. This whole deal smells like Limburger cheese. The US Ambassador to the UN was on Fox blaming the video and saying it was not a planned attack. That directly contradicts Hillary’s statement. But it is like Fox is the only one reporting. And they are giving it alot of air time.

These countries do seem to have been existing in the middle ages and I think that the long term solution is to get them through this. This mess is being orchestrated by the enemies of our country. Iirc, in one statement or another, Hillary and the LIbyan President and Rice and others have all said there were at least two elements involved: informal, amateurish protests used as cover or infiltrated by another group with military weapons and a military-style plan.
September 11 is a likely date for any protests, but turnout may have been increased by a “Arab Limbaugh” tv personality who broadcast an Arabic translation of the film shortly before.

(CNN) — Egyptian authorities have charged seven Coptic Christians living in the United States and a Florida pastor with insulting Islam and inciting sectarian strife for their alleged links to an online video that has enraged much of the Muslim world.
Egypt’s public prosecutor announced the charges Tuesday, the latest development in the deadly backlash against the low-budget, amateurish 14-minute movie trailer produced privately in the United States and posted on YouTube.

What I do not understand about the rise of the zombies in the middle-east is that it is just before re-election. I would have thought they would want BO to win. They are not going to get a better deal anywhere else. Or would they prefer us to have a POTUS who is not so indulgent? An excuse to isolate from the modern world and maintain zombie control?
And has anybody stopped to consider what kind of games the O&G interests are playing? Arms and money for oil. Evil is afoot.

I can only comment when I am at work,,so sorry if it appears I run off. Headclunker..don’t worry about me I have been dealing with the evil for over 30 years. While working for TWA in the 70s I needed to know who are these people and why do they want to kill me? A journey that began seeking info brought me to the Women”s rights issues of Islam, trying to bring the worlds attention to Sharia Law, Beheadings, stonings, FGM, education in places the world never heard of then to face the terror on Jun 14,1985 and again on Sept 11, 2001.I say I have a up close and personal relationship with Evil. My fear has always been one day we would be where we are today..Defending a Evil Movement that preys upon the Kindness and goodness of people who want to belief differently. I speak to Evil because I have looked it in the eye and 30 years later I still see it in my nightmares.

IMHO…If you listen to his Cairo speech besides all the apologizing he made a lot of promises that he didn’t keep, kinda like the promises he made to us and didn’t keep. They expected more of him and the last thing they expected was to hear him claim responsibility for killing Osama and to even campaign with GM is alive and Osama is dead. Not sure how this will play out but it is odd he is not worried about it, just look at his appearance on Letterman, laughing like he hasn’t a care in the world..geez the ME is on fire and hes dancing with Beyonce. Does He have a ” after the election I will have more flexibility” message for Morsi that will calm the flames and make him look like the world hero for election day. Who knows what he is up to maybe he wants the position of President of Libya?

Yes, initially Obama Inc Media was grasping at straws and placing blame on the film/filmmaker, but early on I read one or two brief articles that assigned blame to the US for an earlier bombing, then that angle disappeared.
FLBarbara’s info seems more likely as the reason for these current protests.

From what I’ve read of TDOs comments here and elsewhere, she usually seems to be balancing out chicken littles and rightwingers who always take the sky is falling approach with little to back it up except their own fear and panic. I’ve never seen her make comments that she hasn’t been able to back up with sources. Conversely, when she’s asked for sources of commenters statements she’s usually attacked personally.
