House Votes to Hold Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. in Contempt of Congress
From UppityWoman
Let’s recap and clarify: When is a tax not a tax? When it Is a tax. Unless it’s not a tax, unless…
From HillaryIs44
It’s A Tax!!!!!! (Video Included)
Update: It’s a TAX!!!! Not the Commerce Clause, but tax and spend. Mandate upheld: what now?:
“The opinion actually ruled that the mandate violates the Commerce Clause, but as a tax that no longer matters.
It’s an interesting argument, but one that should have Americans worried. Basically, this is a tax that you have to pay to private companies. For all of the screaming the Right did over single-payer — and for good, outcome-based reasons — at least the taxes raised to fund it would go directly to government. The Supreme Court has signed off on what is, in very practical terms, a tax levied by the insurance industry on Americans simply for existing. It’s an amazing, and fearsome, decision that really should have both Right and Left horrified. [snip]
By the way, don’t forget when Obama insisted that this wasn’t a tax, via Patterico:

Well, Holder is one small consolation today. But what does it do besides being the first AG to be held in contempt – slap on the wrist? bragging rights?
Washington (CNN) — The House of Representatives voted Thursday to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in criminal contempt for refusing to turn over documents tied to the botched Fast and Furious gun-running sting — a discredited operation that has become a sharp point of contention between Democrats and Republicans in Washington.
The 255-67 vote marked the first time in American history that the head of the Justice Department has been held in contempt by Congress. Almost every House Republican backed the measure, along with 17 Democrats.

I thought you all would enjoy this.
100 ‘Confidential’ Postcards from Hillary Clinton
On Thursday, Latvia will officially become the 100th country that Hillary Clinton has visited as Secretary of State. Earlier this month, Clinton beat Madeleine Albright’s record of 96 countries, because as she says, “nothing substitutes for showing up.”
Very funny.

Not to take away from the Obamacare win today. I reposted FLBarbra’s very funny post about Hillary Clinton above.
FLBarbara 06.28.12 at 4:55 pm
Thanks Freddie…i thought we could all use a good laugh today…and Hillary brightens our day always.
So Hillary celebrated 100 countries while Obama celebrated 100 rounds of golf. Holder is celebrating his contempt charges by going to Disney World..now that would make for a Disney Commercial. As far as the SCOTUS ruling I do not see it so much in Oforwards favor…It’ a TAX after all. I think Roberts knew exactly what he was doing,,,he handed Obama the biggest tax hike in history. Romney can run on repealing the biggest tax hike in history. I hear he raised 1 million after the its a tax announcement,
I have called all my Senators and said repeal the HC TAX. LOL I expect the Rs will announce a repeal of the TAX and how can a D not vote for that??? We shall see. Enjoy the beautiful pics of Hillary.

The United States Supreme Court has now officially declared Barack Obama a LIAR and provided the American people with an excellent reason to elect Willard.

The WH released a photo of Obama after learning the ruling.
An official photo? Barry must have some publicity agent!

It’s a beautiful picture. If only the subject could be taken out.
I think he is a sick man. He’s too much in love with himself!

I know alot of Americans wanted Roberts to blow Obamacare away, but I think he did the best thing. It really is not his place to be the 1 deciding vote on the matter and it should be tossed back to the American people through their elected officials.
We will now have to choose between what is offered. But it seems larger than ObamaTaxCare to me. I wonder about those “unitemized” donations and where they really come from.
Then I come across stuff like this video and it gives me the willies. Somebody thell me it is not so: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ip4t0is1_Eo&feature=player_embedded
Of those $259 million from the 2008 campaign, around $210 million was probably not from any small contributor. Now he is flagrantly using such funds again.

Hillary has been in Geneva working on the problems in Syria. Obama needed a break from work and went to Camp David.

The Malignant Brotherhood has got off to a flaming start and will be diligently working to free terrorists. Freaks forever.

I guess they will also be busy making $3 donations to BO’s campaign. My inbox is being barraged. Here is my favorite – ON THE BUS, from Moochelle:
Our family has spent more than a few days on the campaign trail.
We’ve had lots of card games, laughs, and fun family moments on that campaign bus.
Barack is hitting the road again next week, and he’s saving two seats on the bus for a supporter and their guest. We’ll pick the lucky winner in just a few hours.
So make a donation before the big fundraising deadline tonight, and you’ll be automatically entered to join Barack on the road.
The girls and I miss Barack when we’re not on the road with him. But I know he’s looking forward to hanging out with you — so I’ll let you take my seat this time.
Pitch in what you can before tonight’s critical fundraising deadline to be automatically entered to spend some time with Barack on the road:

Thanks, and good luck.

Here’s Obama attacking Hillary for making people buy insurance:

Yes Obamataxcare…but hey media it cuts Medicare.
Fox is yelling tax, tax, tax, CNN is crying the poor “children” at 26 need coverage, wait till their parents can not afford the “kid” on their insurance plan!
This is a nightmare….we need single payer, MEDICARE for all. Pay TAX into single payer and stop the insurance companies from running our lives. Soon we will not even be allowed to purchase a bag of potato chips!
“THE PLAN” keeps people who can afford to be self insured forced into non competitive rates in the state of residence.
I hate politicans (and media) moe and more ever day, lying sacks of greedy shit bags!

I ditto your sentiments. When I see a piece of faux news on CNN.com, I try to go in and post my comments. I believe it gets wider readership but of course it is just a personal opinion.
Like the one yesterday posted by the guy Fareed Zakaria, who “feels” that the housing industry is picking up and therefore it is a good indicator that the economy is turning around. I don’t know what credentials these journalists have but they seem to have an opinion that they throw out and people take it as truth seeing that it is coming from CNN but it is all the personal opinion of just one journalist. Obviously it is a conserted effort to shore up Obama’s “votability” as Fareed is pro Obama but it is not right.

Ho Ho ho Headclunker… that is so funny. I bet the photo was deliberately used. In this age of digital cameras, who would take just one shot ? I am sure there were many to choose from… but this one is priceless.

DO I HEAR A SAD PETULANT PRESIDENT – DESPERATELY CLINGING ONTO HIS WHITE HOUSE WHILE BLAMING THE REPUBLICANS? It is THEIR fault that he is having difficult raising money. Dammit! I have one thing to say :
Obama campaign says president’s AIR FORCE-1 fund-raising call ‘routine’
CNN White House Correspondent Dan Lothian
(CNN) – President Barack Obama’s plea for donations from Air Force One was “a routine fund-raising call,” according to a senior campaign official.
The call, which the official confirmed took place Friday, was recorded and posted in part on the Daily Beast.
“The majority on this call maxed out to my campaign last time. I really need you to do the same this time,” the president said on the call, which took place aboard the presidential aircraft as it was flying back from Colorado after Obama surveyed fire damage in the area and made remarks.
“I’m asking you to meet or exceed what you did in 2008,” Obama said.
His call revealed a certain degree of resignation, saying the slow pace of change was hurting his ability to raise campaign cash.
“In 2008 everything was new and exciting about our campaign,” Obama said. “And now I’m the incumbent president. I’ve got gray hair. People have seen disappointment because folks had a vision of change happening immediately. And it turns out change is hard, especially when you’ve got an obstructionist Republican Congress.”
On the call, Obama affirmed an anxiety on the part of his campaign that their GOP rivals, including former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and his aligned super PAC, would out-raise them ahead of November’s general election.
“If things continue as they have so far, I’ll be the first sitting president in modern history to be outspent in his reelection campaign,” Obama said on the call.
In May, Romney’s organization outraised the president’s by a $15 million margin, the first time in monthly fund-raising reports the Republican candidate has brought in more money than the president. In 2008, Obama broke all campaign fund-raising records, bringing in more than $700 million.

Headclunker…How Funny and How Perfect Lmao
Poor Barack…”Change is Hard”..especially when you are not qualified and inexperienced. BoofingHoo.
Everything about that call makes me sick. Crying and begging like a baby…give me your money or I will send a drone your way. . He is spending more than he is taking in, just like he is running the country, I hope he ends up with a big fat debt and no one bails his ass out after he is kicked to the curb. Pathetic that he visits the fly over state of CO. after weeks of fires on his way to yet another fund raiser and the only damn thing he can think of after seeing the devastation is HIMSELF…He needs money..so he can continue the job he so miserably failed at. ONE and DONE
FLBarbara 07.03.12 at 9:49 am
GEEZ I wish the person he would be handing the keys to the White house was Hillary. Imagine that photo and what would the caption say? “Goodbye you Fraud”. But I will settle for handing the keys to Romney, hell I would settle for him handing the keys to Mickey damn Mouse..with the caption “Goodbye you Fraud”
freddiebrown 07.03.12 at 1:35 pm
I just wish and hope that his previous supporters read the extract of his phone call and realize that there is a reason why he is not raising the money like he did before. He is a dandy wanna be celebrity president desperately clinging to power. It is also rather sad that now he blames Romney and congress for his problems and inability to raise money !! It is always some one else’s fault.
I am 100% voting for Romney – if just to see the end of Obama’s 4 year ruin.
FLBarbara 07.03.12 at 5:14 pm
Did we hear Hillary crying about how he was raising so much money??? He says in that call that Romney is worse than McCain, You know that POW who wasn’t qualified to be President because he was “just a pilot” let a lone a Senator with triple his experience. Ofraud wants us to feel sorry for him cause he has “gray hair’ hell he has made all our hair turn gray. I can handle a Romney term, but can not handle another Ofraud term. The only way to rid ourselves of him is to Vote for Romney. I vote in Fl and it is a swing state and my vote will count this time!!!! Unless of course Donna Brazile rulz. I will do everything possible to see he is a one termer Fraud cause then all the other backstabbers go down with him. Debbie will be jobless, and Nancy will never hold a gavel in her hands again.
ONE and DONE

Today I heard 3 male news critters discussing a photo of Ann Romney driving a jet ski with Mitt riding on the back. They think it ODD!! WHY?? because ANN was the driver and Mitt was sitting on the back!! Their comments were directed at Ann being in Control. We can’t have a woman in control huh? and I guess we can’t have a man comfortable with a woman in control. How Hillary and Bill of the Romneys. You know Ofraud would never be comfortable with Michelle or any woman in control.
It was a very nice photo. of them. I guess we can expect more of the Ann is in control rhetoric.
