What Is This Blog?
June 4th, 2008 — Murphy

Puma PAC is a political action committee organized in June 2008. This is our official website and blog. You may know that there is another, more defiant meaning for the acronym P.U.M.A. and that many of us are motivated by a deep disgust with and distrust of the DNC leadership.

Join us! Simply send an email to join@pumapac.org with the word “join” in the subject line. We really are either all in this together, or all outside alone.

There will be no unity in the Democratic party until the voices of the 18 million voters who support Hillary Clinton are heard and heeded. Until the voices of Pumas are once again listened to by the leadership of the Democratic party, we will be guided by that defiance. We will treat insult with uprightness and will meet disdain with disdain. We will not be bullied, brainwashed, or bossed into falling in line.
It is the goal of this blog to be an oasis in the hostile wilderness of disinformation, discrimination, and dishonesty that the mainstream media, including mainstream blogs and other new media outlets, have become.

We are part of a burgeoning group of bloggers, writers, and citizens who are joining together to fight back against the corrupt leadership of the DNC, their “chosen” candidate, and the mainstream media that enables them. Please visit the sites on the blogroll. We really are either all in this together, or all outside alone. Contribute your comments, insights, and advice. Feel free to lurk, but feel freer to participate.
We strive to provide and foster sane political analysis and honest debate. We aim to be a forum, a bulletin board, a sounding board, and a voice for the 18 million Democrats who have been told our votes and our voices don’t matter and that we are unnecessary and unwelcome.

We will help rescue and revive the crucial Media Critique which was abandoned by so many mainstream blogs and so-called “progressive” writers when they decided to jump on the bandwagon of an untested and unready candidate and became mere propagandists for the right-wing noise machine.

We will fight the misogyny, the elitism, and the divisiveness — engendered by an unprincipled candidate and his campaign and amplified by their willing enablers in the media — that threatens to tear the Democratic party apart.
This is the Puma blog. People United Means Action.

Welcome.

Read this and give it your best SMIRK or fart in his general direction:

When it comes to President Obama, what happened to the magic of 2008?
http://caffertyfile.blogs.cnn.com/2012/06/04/when-it-comes-to-president-obama-what-happened-to-the-magic-of-2008/?hpt=hp_t3

Oh, you should add your comments at the end as well…
It is short, so I will paste the article here… it is too good to miss.

By CNN’s Jack Cafferty:

What a difference four years makes.

When Barack Obama ran for president against Hillary Clinton and John McCain in 2008, he was unstoppable.

He generated the kind of excitement and enthusiasm among voters that is rarely seen in politics. People couldn’t get enough of him and his messages of hope, change and “yes, we can.”

Four years later, a lot of that optimism and excitement are gone.

“How the mighty have fallen” is how Maureen Dowd describes it in her New York Times column headlined “Dreaming of a Superhero.”

“The president who started off with such dazzle now seems incapable of stimulating either the economy or the voters,” she wrote.
The economy remains weak. Friday’s dismal jobs report triggered a selloff, and the stock market has now erased all its gains for the year.

As for the voters, a lot of them are disgruntled – including many in the president’s own base.

A Forbes column describes how Obama is being left behind by the left wing of his party.

They’re frustrated that the president hasn’t followed through on key promises like closing Guantanamo Bay, ending the war in Afghanistan or getting tough on Wall Street.

There are anti-Obama e-mails coming from the left that describe a “psychopathic megalomaniac” in the White House and “a cancer in the presidency” – and these are liberals.

Part of this is due to the ugly reality of governing. But you can even see it in the president’s campaign events.

There were more than 4,000 empty seats in an Ohio arena that seats 18,000 when the president officially launched his re-election campaign.

That wouldn’t have happened four years ago.

Here’s my question to you: When it comes to President Obama, what happened to the magic of 2008?

Tune in to the Situation Room at 4pm to see if Jack reads your answer on air.

And, we love to know where you’re writing from, so please include your city and state with your comment.

freddiebrown,

Some of those comments are unbelievable. The stinkin’ bobots think BO failed because the big, mean Republicans would not cooperate with the snake oil salesman they elected.

Poor wittle BO.

Ugh, my computer died so I’m using a 4 year old laptop that doesn’t want to cooperate! Clicking links is like roulette… some it allows, others not. So frustrated!

Obama’s “magic” was all smoke and mirrors coupled with a mass mentality of pubescent boiz with a crush on their homeboy / daddy.
Of course, most of those fans are still or now living with their parents of origin since there isn’t much work available to them.
My heart bleeds for them…not.

Dances totally nails it. The “magic” was all an illusion, and as we know, not a terribly believable one to begin with. What blows my dress up is that people like MoDo and that jack ass Cafferty perpetuated the false narrative of Obama as the super-intelligent, soft spoke, sophisticated post-racial, post-partisan savior. They and their fellow news people (aka – Liars for Obama) covered for him, refused to vet him, tried to tear Hillary apart ( yeah, good luck with that one. That lady has more strength of character and just plain strength that all of MSM and Team Obama collectively). So when MoDo tosses her hair and utters criticism of Obama,in that raspy, annoying voice of her, maybe she should look back at her gushing commentary about the Great One, and realize that he never was as MSM presented him to be. The emperor had no clothes – except the ones created for him by MSM, the Dem Party, and his army of young, unemployed stoners.
