Earlier this week, the president gave a speech in Denver that was brimming with his boilerplate populism and divisive class rhetoric. The president made the case that Mitt Romney’s work in private equity should disqualify him from the presidency. This from Obama, America’s leading expert on healthy economic growth. This from a President with a razor thin resume. Obama accused Romney of being out of touch with hard-working Americans. The president began his comments about Romney with:
“Well, those of us who’ve spent time in the real world,” he began, as the crowd laughed….
The punchlines just write themselves, don’t they?
#ObamasRealWorld has taken on a life of its own in social and other media. Here are some examples:

– Where at the end of your term it will still be all be the other guy’s fault
– Where you are awarded your opponents delegates even though your name wasn’t on the ballot
– Where you are selected as the nominee even when your opponent won more votes
– Where living in Indonesia as a 9 yr old gives you foreign policy experience
– Where you get a Nobel Peace Prize for what you might maybe do someday.

Don’t tell me the Almighty Obama is so worried about Romney that he is thinking of ways he should be disqualified already. Romney is not even the nominee yet. Surely the President Almighty is not already worried. The neck to neck polls could be wrong you know, Mr. President. Perhaps you could pull a couple of rabbits out of your hat or better yet, solve the country’s woes through your tweets before election.
I don’t know about you . I am so ready for this to be over and someone else in his place.

What is it with the democrats in the senate? Are they all owned by big pharma? At least it seems to be democrats who continue trying to take away our supplements.
During the years I’ve signed many petitions in my local health food store. Their attempts to ban supplements have all failed thus far, but they keep on coming back and trying again.
This time is was Durbin!

It is really hard to forget how Murphy led us through that awful time. I needed to rekindle a bit of the fire; hence the tweets. If it is the same for you, perhaps u 2 will provide the distraction that he so derided in 2008 but embraces in 2012.

I had a strange call from someone looking for campaign donations for the Romney Campaign. If it was not Michele Buchanan herself, it could have been her twin right down to the same accent and voice tone. I actually tried to engage her in conversation, but we did not speak the same language. She was looking to unite conservatives behind support for Romney to get rid of BO and protect the Constitution. I told her I was not a conservative, was not sure about Romney and could not contribute to his campaign because I was a single working (underpaid) Mom. I did assure her that BO would not get my vote.
Then I asked her why Romney’s campaign was not doing anything about BO’s “unitemized” donations. But I do not think she got it. Too busy defending the Constitution, I guess.
I told her that I was hoping BO came down with something so he would need to drop out of the race. I said our only chance was to draft Hillary. At that point she absolutely did not know what to say so I assured her I would think about donating to Mr. Romney’s Canpaign and said good by.
