I share with you the inside of my closet. This poster hangs on the inside of the door, kinda like Superman, only better because it's more of a Superwoman thing. One of Junior and my most favorite co-volunteers on Hillary's campaign in Philadelphia was a sweet sweet man from Louisiana named Alan. He knew how much I loved his poster, and on the night of the Victory Party in Philly he gave it to me as a keepsake. Thank you Alan! Thank you Philadelphia!
What is up with this? I’m sure I don’t know, and I’m not sure what to think of the prospect in any case. Hillary won’t run as a third party candidate; I feel sure of that. And according to Politico, team obama is gearing up to unleash the orcs obots on us again in about a year’s time. So it’s game on for the obama reelect, to borrow their stupid, sports-drenched silly lingo.
But the Hillary Network is buzzing this week. The Hillbuzz boys say,
“Now, we don’t believe Clinton would ever run as an independent to take Dr. Utopia down, but today Hillary’s Army in winter quarters had a sort of round robin fire drill…and the network we forged in 2008 still works great. People are still in touch. Thousands and thousands of people in all 50 starts are ready to hit the ground running for our Champ again…and next time around, we’ll be campaign veterans.”

That video brought me to tears. I have to agree with Simo. I realize that I have not recovered from Hillary’s campaign. On the one hand, we know she is the most qualified, capable woman to run. Sadly, I don’t forsee any other woman who is or will be close to being as qualified as Hillary. For this I really feel bad for our daughters, and grand daughters. That is why it is so important to teach and mentor the young women now, and to elect women into as many political offices as possible. I just don’t know. I get excited at the thought of her running. But I do think she is done. I do think that she will go to work for the Clinton Foundation where she can continue to help women all over the world. Then a little voice is telling me, possibly she may run for vice president with Evan Byah running in 2012. Perhaps they have discussed this already. They remain very close friends and allies.

Follow up to conversation on previous thread:
I found the social security/Medicare employees to be great. They’re right on top of their jobs and very very efficient. Unlike my other retirement system who fouled up my retirement filing and delayed my retirement benefits and my health insurance coverage for 3 months until I threatened to complain to the head of their system. I still have problems getting a straight answer from them over any problem. When I call social security or email them, I get a thorough answer immediately. Who knew?

I am still thinking Hillary isn’t finished in politics and hope she will run in 2012 or 2016.
We will know more after the 2010 elections. If the Fraud and his dingbat congress get replaced in 2010 (turn over too many seats to the Repubs), they will all be lame ducks…..will the Fraud

The reality of all this is, he wants to run the country via government, this has always been his thinking. It’s quite simple really. KInda like being king or emperor. I saith it it must be so. Well, that is not what this country is all about.
It’s about people vote you in, you need to respond and not let them down. That means not only listening to both sides, but making both sides come to an agreement, it’s called “closing” the deal.

Here’s the deal: something — SOMETHING — is definitely up in Hillaryland because too many people have been emailing, calling, and mobilizing in the last few days in “Fire Drill” mode, testing networks, and checking to make sure email lists are still valid for this to be just out of the blue.
It feels like someone from “upstairs” gave a little push. It might have been NoLimits.org changing its social network system this last week, so people reconnected through old channels to make sure everyone was still in touch. As we have repeatedly told you, Hillary’s Army never went anywhere, except to Winter Quarters. There are many Hillary supporters who went back to their old lives after the election and are not involved in politics anymore, the way we are. Those, in many ways from our perspective, are smart people.
BUT, what makes the last several days interesting is the fact that THESE are the people who we have been hearing from, in spades. “Saw the Bat-Signal and am reporting in”, is the gist of it. “Is it time to kick ass or what?”.
Here’s what we think is going on: coming from the grassroots, it looks like Hillary’s Army is mobilizing on its own to call back its general to the field, to take back the country from Dr. Utopia and end The Golden Age of Hope and Change. What Clinton will decide to do is up to her, but it feels like her ground troops are starting to mount an effort to court her back into the political world, to leave the State Department, and to hit Dr. Utopia hard in the primaries in 2012.
The thought from many of us is that Dr. Utopia won’t even run, and will say he has Parkinson’s so he has a sympathetic medical reason for pulling an LBJ.
What we think is prompting this mobilization of Hillary’s Army is Evan Bayh’s retirement announcement and the thought that Bayh did that so he could run a primary challenge in 2012. It feels to us that Hillary’s supporters don’t want Bayh to get the jump on Hillary 2012 before any of us have the chance to make it happen.
An excellent source for any insight onto what could be happening is The Big Pink, Hillaryis44.org. They were one of the first pro-Hillary sites out there, and are still one of the best. We read them every day. Keep an eye on what’s going on over there, always. They are well-sourced, and they came on the scene two years before any of us here ever thought we’d be spending so much time on a computer.
If we figure out more of what’s going on, we’ll fill you in, but this feels like it’s a 100% grassroots effort to draft Clinton for 2012, perhaps sparked by someone upstairs, but most likely in response to the failure of this current presidency and the possible primary challenge Bayh might be mounting.

Tonight I saw Bill Clinton. I am totally blown away by his intellect and wisdom.
I listened to him speak for about two hours, while he filled our heads with facts about what is going on in the world…he covered just about every subject and even some on politics and did not once mention the Fraud. He did mention Michelle’s stepping up to help kids with obesity.
I can’t say where or when, but he is totally amazing.
After the talk, I went with a friend to see where his car was waiting for him…along with hundreds of others. The closest I got to him was about 4 feet away as his car drove by, very slowly and his window was rolled down half way, I yelled and waved, “Hi Bill!!!!” He smiled and waved back at me.
What a day.
Next on my bucket list, to meet and hug Hillary.

I would have loved to meet Bill Clinton or even hear him speak would be so inspiring – I think the Clintons are amazing. I have met and actually hugged Hillary Clinton and had a posed photo taken with her. She is at once humble, human and an imposing presence. I could not tell you how much we wanted her to win. She was so visibly tired in November of 08 but she marched on to raise money. We knew the fucktard was ahead but we wanted a miracle that didn’t arrive. Now I am afraid to get to that place of hope again.

Yes, Purple. It felt surreal to me today, and I certainly wasn’t very close to him at all. I took a funny photo of him as his car drove by…I was so excited that the photo was an after thought…you can only see his arm out the window and the back end of his car.

Billie JO… if you are still around. Back during the elections, I got an email from Hillary’s campaign folks cos they got my email for contributing. She was going to be in Newport Beach speaking at a fundraiser. I wanted to see her so badly because I believed that she is what our country needed – I was not too interested in politics prior to that. I told my husband that I am going to pay for both of us (I think it was $4,500 each person) to go and see this person that has so impressed us. That is no small change for us but I just wanted to support her and it was amazing. The security was something else and the support from her fans was evident.

My Bill and Hillary story was way back when they were first running for President and they came to my town with the Gores. They has an outdoor rally downtown outside a big office building and since I worked downtown I decided to go on my lunch hour. It was a very intimate setting even though it was outside because it was in a very small park area. All 4 were beautiful people, the guys so tall and handsome and Hillary and Tipper looked gorgeous. I unexpectedly ran into my sister, my brother who was visiting from Florida, and my nephew at the rally. Since my brother was not working he followed Bill into the lobby of the office building after the rally where Bill sat and chatted with people for 2 hours while my brother stood nearby and listened. He was blown away with Bill. Unfortunately, my brother voted for the O in 2008 and we haven’t spoken since.

At the Health care summit, Paul Ryan (R) is causing some fireworks with his point that the dems do not trust the state governors to regulate the insurance programs and Obama interrupted him to say they were running behind because of the opening statements. Then he tried to make a joke saying he wasn’t counting his opening statement because he is the President. Then he went into another statement.

Finally, something I can agree with on the hc bill – Rep, George Miller (D) from Calif is saying the bill proposes no deductible or co-pay on preventive care. My high deductible keeps me from seeing the doctor for even preventive testing and care. He’s also talking about all his pre-existing conditions and how he’s trapped in the most expensive insurance costs because he’s in a pool of those with pre-existing conditions.

eric Cantor has the 2400 page hc bill stacked up in front of him as a visual and Obama called him on it. Cantor then picks up a 4 or 5 page Senate bill online printout and says that’s what he’s going to address. Obama being a little peeved and combative.

Obama is asking that they stick to the provisions that they agree on and work on that today, not the things they disagree on. They are not playing by Obama’s rules. He does have a point but that’s probably just for show and no one actually believed that’s how this summit would go.
