Welcome Puma Friends old and new, and Merry Christmas! Here at Chez Murphy we celebrate the spirit of Christmas as the day for gratuitous giving (i.e., you give presents (and get them!) for no reason other than being you!). Drop in for some eggnog, spiked or not according to your taste, though I must admit my taste runs to mimosas on Christmas morning (aka “Gratuitous Drinking”).

Christmas Eve was cancelled here – too much snow & lousy roads – rescheduled for Saturday
But celebrating with the other branch of family today – roads are little better but at least it’s daylight & main roads have been plowed……………………..

Just another happy note for you – in today’s paper – Doonesbury (Gary Trudeau) says the fraud is now ‘dead to him’ – oh oh oh – na na na na – told ya so, told ya so, coulda had Hillary –
also – heard Repubs are gonna say – if the gd bill pushed by Reid, etc. is go damm good – why did 13 Dems want special favors to vote for it – makes me wonder why also…………………
bbl – gotta go get showered, etc. & pack up the stuff (gifts, cookies & yes – mini cupcakes that I baked – red velvet with cream cheese frosting & green sprinkles on top for the season ya know & also for the fraud’s shrinking numbers – hense the mini cupcakes) hope the trend continues…………………….still filled with loathing for the fraud & his minions – no gettin’ over it for me…………………

Whoa to much par taying for me…took me 3 times to get my pw entered.
First gala at Chez Murphy, 2nd in the hills of MT Wachsetts at my son’s house now dinner and gifts galore in store at nearby daughter’s house.
Grandson so bumming he was not going to get a Wii but we knew his Uncle Wes had one for him…he will be super surprised today. Can’t wait to see the glee on his face.
Every Puma out there I wish you the joy of seeing glee all over your loved one’s faces.
It fills your heart.

Merry Christmas Murphy and all Pumas everywhere! Hope those of you in the snow zone are not overwhelmed by the weather and that you are keeping warm. For those without family around them or missing loved ones, remember you have Puma family and we are here sending huge hugs, thanks to the home Murphy has provided us.

To those brave women and men who serve in the military and are away from home – we thank you – Merry Christmas and may you soon be home again.

WE’RE STILL HERE!! You bet we are.
Had lunch with an obot friend last week. In the recent past she kept cancelling lunches and seemed reluctant to get together. Finally, found out why when I resisted saying I told you so at the lunch, and at the end she seemed relieved and said let’s do this again in January and while she didn’t exactly apologize for the fact she wouldn’t listen to me during the election, she did say ‘I just can’t stand not being cool and with it’ (which I already knew about her). Next lunch we will be discussing Obama.
Had a wonderful Christmas Eve with the grandkids and it was a fun Wii evening for us too. Merry Christmas Pumas.

Merry Christmas PUMAs! Last night was incredible with candlelight service and music at church. Kids followed Santa on the NORAD website and opened the gifts this morning…I got 2 books Going Rouge and The Persecution Of Sarah Palin! Great fun drinking “coquito”, homemade with Puerto Rican rum. Hope everyone is having fun!

Twas the night before Christmas … and the Senate just barely made it out of town. At 7 in the morning of Christmas Eve, 60 Democratic senators passed the long-debated plan to reform health care in America.
But as Rasmussen Reports polling has been showing for months, most voters didn’t want to find that particular package under their Christmas tree. At the beginning of the week, 41% of voters nationwide favored the health plan, but 55% opposed it. It was the fifth straight week with support for the legislation between 38% and 41%.

Well, they actually are making excuses for the fact that they do not get anything! They don’t understand how the world really works at all. Enjoyed food wine and even the angst of my daughter who was visibly upset her dad forgot the electric knife! She is going to get mucho electric knives next christmas!! Her birthday is in April…why wait!! Her dad sharpened ALL her knives with that long ugly thingy that comes on the knife block! It works!

Add to that the role that Rahm Emanuel may have played in the run-up to fannie and freddie shenanigans around 2000/2001 (for which the rather odd couple of Hamsher and Norquist recently called for his resignation and an investigation)and do we perhaps FINALLY have an no-fail recipe for BO impeachment (along with several Congress critters)? Why this unlimited bailout of fannie and freddie NOW, just after the call for Emanuel to resign, and especially with BO having been one of those reaping the largest gains from the fannie and freddie shenanigans???
