in Islam Sucks, Planet Dude

Does THIS mean that anyone who attends services at radical mosques should be under surveillance as well as being kept FAR away from guns, ammo, bombs, potential agents of biological attack, and/or members of the armed services?

Another day dawns on Planet Dude.

President Obama and his wife, Michelle, are expected to attend the ceremony, and the president will speak to a crowd that will include the survivors of the attack and the families of the victims.

“So no, Major Hasan is not just another nut. He volunteered himself into a larger Islamic jihad, whose political weapon of choice is the murder of innocents across the globe.

The Fort Hood massacre makes clear, again, that Islamic terror is unavoidably a domestic U.S. problem as well. There is a strain in American thinking that deludes itself in believing that somehow this force will occupy itself mainly with blowing up marketplaces in faraway Pakistan or Afghanistan. On Thursday, their problem was our problem.”

not suggesting our military can simply respond by barring Muslims, but doesn’t seem to be ruling out profiling and surveilling either.

HP #1:
Early morning TV indicated that Obama is to give a “speech” – an inappropriate activity for mourning, don’t you think? Also heard that ABC would cover it live. It’s this afternoon I think.

5

NikkisMom 11.10.09 at 10:18 am

I heard on Fox News this morning that if Hasan gets the death penalty, Obama would have to sign final approval of it. WTF?? Watch the phony squirm today as he tries to avoid criticizing the religion of the fucktard who caused this carnage.

Hasan could face death penalty
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,572914,00.html

The Army psychiatrist suspected in Thursday’s deadly Fort Hood rampage in Texas could get the death penalty if he is convicted of multiple counts of first-degree murder — and military law experts say the evidence against him will be substantial.

Did you guys hear about this story in E. St. Louis where the women were shot in their car with their kids? This article says they were just riding around but from what I saw in an interview, the mother of one of the victims said they were on their way to her house. She had told her to come home because she was so afraid of her ex-boyfriend. Of course, he is ultimately the one that killed them.

suicide by PC:

excerpt:

“Just a few months ago, Hasan was promoted to major. He passed a security clearance despite evidence he openly engaged in anti-American rants, and even discussed cutting the throats of infidels during a PowerPoint presentation. Now there are reports that U.S. intelligence intercepted contacts between Hasan and al-Qaida.

But shhh! This isn’t about Islam. Close your eyes. Look the other way. Do not make the connection.”

On the upside today (if there can be one), another fucking “islamic terrorist” will die today. They call it the “religion of peace”, yet stories of carnage by these assholes are everywhere.

RICHMOND, Va. – The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to block Tuesday’s scheduled execution of sniper mastermind John Allen Muhammad.

The Court did not comment Monday on why it refused to consider his appeal.

“Despite ban, Holder to speak to CAIR-linked group

Attorney General Eric Holder has agreed to give a keynote speech next week to a Michigan group which includes the local branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations even though the FBI has formally severed contacts with the controversial Muslim civil rights organization.

On Nov. 19, Holder is scheduled to speak in Detroit to the first annual awards banquet of Advocates and Leaders for Police and Community Trust, a coalition of several dozen law enforcement and community groups. An online registration form for the event includes the Council on American Islamic Relations-Michigan on a list of “official & participating organizations.”

A spokeswoman for ALPACT confirmed that CAIR is a member of the coalition.”

#16 – At a time when he should be sorrowful and NOT talking about himself, I’m willing to bet $5.00 that he will throw in a shout out about how “his healthcare bill would help all the wounded soldiers” and how “we need it now!”, and how the “democrats (WE) in the house got it passed”, or some variation of those key topics.

Should we start a pool now and the winnings go to Murphy to keep the lights on?

Sorry, but I’ve become so cynical these days.

Just a friendly email exchange between two fellow Allah worshipers, one a Major in the US Army the other an Iman in Yemen who actively recruits Islamic Fundamentalist Terrorist???

LOL NikkisMom! Thanks!

The weather has been great! My husband put our Christmas lights up Sunday! He dedided to take advantage while we had a chance. LOL. He usually waits until it’s icy and snowy and we have a two story house. It makes me a nervous wreck every year. I’m sure the neighbors think we’re strange but oh well, they probably thought that before now. The rain is supposed to start again and it should be getting cold really soon. Enjoy the few days of Fall we probably have left.

Dances / Murphy,

Should we decide that we need to stop a Senate version of the healthcare bill, I’ve started a list of the “Key Senators” on healthcare (similar to “blue dogs”) with their fax/phone #’s. Any tips on how I should format it before I send it to the Action Center, so that it will make it easier for you to upload?

Would a Notepad .txt file be better than in Word format?

Word doc is fine. Don’t worry too much about the formatting. Just be sure to send as an attachment. I work fulltime, therefore uploading isn’t instantaneous, but usually happens in less than 24 hours.

FLBarbara,
My husband is the epitome (sp. ?) of last minute. I was very surprised he got it done.
It’s a good thing we don’t live in a hurricane prone area. We would never be shuttered up. However, we do have tornadoes and the rest of us go to the basement and he waits until the last minute so he can see it.

33

snowtigerredux 11.10.09 at 11:42 am

Thanks Dances. I got one she will love. :)

34

DancesWithPumas 11.10.09 at 11:45 am

Stood on a balcony of a hotel to watch two tornadoes merge and become sister-tornadoes about 13 years ago. The visuals were mesmerizing. Snapped out of it and went into my suite just in time. Powerful stuff.

35

DancesWithPumas 11.10.09 at 11:48 am

Why would we add a blog to our list that has been relentless in trashing Murphy and Pumas?

36

sheila7 11.10.09 at 11:49 am

Dances,
It is powerful. Once when I was a kid we were at the neighbors house and everyone went to the basement. My dad stayed upstairs and let me stay with him. (My mom had a fit but she was trying to get the younger babies to the basement). We sat at the front door and watched the tornado. We did get to the basement as it got closer but that was the only time I stuck around to watch one. I’ve never seen two merge together. Very cool.

37

FLBarbara 11.10.09 at 11:56 am

Yes, there is something very powerful about watching Mother Nature. I watched funnel clouds form over the ocean all the time.
I too was mesmerized by the hurricanes coming in over the ocean. It is an awesome sight and very easy to forget how dangerous they can be.
I was in a mandatory evacuation zone, but stayed by myself on the 20 th floor, for Hurricane Wilma,I cried all night.Thank God for Vodka.LOL

38

sheila7 11.10.09 at 11:58 am

 FLBarbara. I would have cried all night too.

My building was a newer building so it was built to strict code. We had no shutters on the floor to ceiling glass doors, the glass was designed to withstand 175 winds.
Trouble is you get to see everything and I did see a sofa fly by the window from a near by building.
Thank God no one was sitting on it..

Odd that suggesting that Hillary Clinton is a woman who can think, formulate and act of her own free volition isn’t worthy of discussion. Perhaps it’s best to keep her in the realm of Santa Claus where all good Pumas can impart their vision of who and what she is.

Me – I just respect and admire the woman. Voted for her, contributed to her campaign and would again.

Because of you…Puma is fantasy and an act of intellectual masturbation. You do a severe disservice to those who truly want to make a difference.

Shame on you. You have no respect for women nor for your community.

An Uncomfortable Truth (in the NYTImes no less)

““Do you know who Hekmatyar is?” he asked me, grinning.

I do not know what came over me. Perhaps it was pent up frustration at having absorbed hundreds of answering machines messages over six years. The proper answer in this situation would have been: Hekmatyar is a glorious mujahedeen hero! But on this day, I said what was on my mind.

“He was an Afghan mujahedeen who took money from the C.I.A.,” I said loudly over the hum of the car’s engine.

As I spoke, Shamsullah’s face cracked. His grin vanished. He swung his head away angrily and glared out the window, his body rigid. It was as if his brain had simply rejected the information. But the process had made him very angry.

My colleagues were pinching me. Their eyes were big and alarmed. The C.I.A. is the most despised institution in this part of the world, and everybody knows that you should never utter its acronym to anyone, never mind a militant mullah.

Soon after, we reached his village. I tried to make up for my mistake, but he was not buying it. Somehow the exchange had felt secretly exhilarating. He got out stiffly, thanked us for the ride and walked up the hill away from us. He did not look back or wave. We drove away as fast as we could.”

From an email to me from one of the La Senators…Vitter…
Did you all know this? about Obutt’s plans?

Obama is very simply and clearly a Muslim apologist…this guy more and more reveals what he is clearly about and it is not
our concerns that top his priority list..in any way….
From the Vitter email…
“I was outraged when I found out the Obama Administration wanted to give Guantanamo Bay detainees the H1N1 vaccine while millions of Americans – including pregnant women and children – are still waiting to get the H1N1 vaccine because of massive shortages.

Swine flu is a very real concern for all of us across the country. Currently, the H1N1 vaccine is only being provided to certain high-risk segments of the population. The vaccine is in short supply, and, as such, there are millions of Americans in these high-risk groups still awaiting the vaccine. We should save the vaccine for those who need it most, and as of today, women, children and other at-risk individuals should fall squarely in line under that category.

Last week I introduced a Senate resolution with several of my colleagues asserting that the Obama Administration should not provide Guantanamo Bay detainees and terror suspects with the H1N1 vaccine before the H1N1 vaccine shortage is addressed and all American citizens prioritized as vulnerable to H1N1 have the choice to obtain the H1N1 vaccine….”

The Ban on Abortion Coverage
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/10/opinion/10tue1.html
The highly restrictive language was easily approved by a 240-to-194 vote and incorporated into the overall bill, which squeaked through by a tally of 220 to 215. It was depressing evidence of the power of anti-abortion forces to override a reasonable compromise. They were willing to scuttle the bill if they didn’t get their way. Outraged legislators who support abortion rights could also have killed the bill but sensibly chose to keep the reform process moving ahead.

The fight will resume in the Senate, where the Finance Committee has approved a bill that incorporates the compromise just rejected by the House. We urge the Senate to stand strong behind a compromise that would preserve a woman’s right to abortion services.
