Be afraid.

Pumas and non-Pumas alike are reeling today after a long week last week and an even longer weekend. Familiar voices are now outright calling on American women to just walk away from the Democratic Party. Sounds good to me.

Also, Nidal Hasan, the jihadist who also frequents strip clubs( now WHY DOES THAT SOUND FAMiLIAR?? Oh, and don’t blame islam or call it jihad even though Hasan spoke with reverence of the imam at the mosque in Virginia he attended along with 9/11 terrorists Hazmi and Hanjour) may be conscious and speaking with investigators.

As Eminem says, “If I had one wish, it would be for an ass big enough for the whole world to kiss.”

A-yup.

Jihadist Murders at Fort Hood
Some actions are so easily anticipated and foreseeable. When they occur, these incidents only surprise those ignorant of the causes or those willfully blind to reality. Such incidents include rabid dogs biting people, flies buzzing around freshly deposited feces and snakes sliding along the ground before striking their victims. Also in the category of expected occurrences, one finds the inevitability of Mohamadans murdering civilized people when the opportunity presents itself.

Today’s latest episode of a jihadi slaying American armed forces personnel has underscored the need for a ban on Mohamadans in the American armed forces. This continues a long string of fifth columnists within the various branches of U.S. Department of Defense who used their training to murder Americans. I provide a recap of just some of the jihads’ plots to attack and undermine for those who forgot or have buried their hands in the sands of useful idiocy:

-On June 1 of this year, Abdulhakim Mujahid fatally shot Private William Long and wounded Quinton Ezeagwula in Little Rock, Arkansas.

-On the twenty-third of March 2003, Sgt. Asan Akbar rolled live grenades into the tents of fellow soldiers then fired an automatic weapon at them at Camp Pennsylvania in Kuwait. This jihadi killed two officers and injured fourteen other soldiers.

-Jeffrey Leon Battle, one of the Portland Six tied to al-Kaida, joined the Army Reserves in order to learn how to kill American soldiers. On the fourth of October 2002 Jeffrey Leon Battle was arrested. According to the Justice Department, he planned to wage war against Americans in Afghanistan. On the second of December 2003, Battle pleaded guilty and received a sentence of 18 years in prison.

-In May of 2002, the federal agents arrested Semi Osman, a Mohamadan cleric and a mechanic in the Naval Reserves, as part of an investigation of a terrorist training camp in Oregon. Osman had access to fuel trucks like those employed in the bombing of the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia 1996 that killed 19 U.S. airmen. In January 2003, he pleaded guilty to a weapons charge.

-Ali Mohamed, a secret member of Islamic Jihad, enlisted in the U.S. Army and reached the rank of sergeant. He taught a class on Islamic perceptions of America to special forces at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He also taught at the JFK Special Operations Warfare School where he stole classified military documents. After leaving the Army in 1989, he joined al-Kaida. He spent the 1990s traveling around the world helping plot jihadist operations. The FBI finally arrested him in 1998. He pleaded guilty to conspiring with Osama Bin Laden to attack Western targets.

-John Allen Muhammad was mechanic, truck driver and specialist metalworker in the Louisiana National Guard and later in the U.S. Army. He earned commendations for marksmenship which used to shoo t and kill ten civilians and wounded three other in the autumn of 2002 in the metropolitan area of Washington, DC.

A person need only read any of the numerous violently totalitarian scriptures serving as the foundation of Islam. These Islamic plots to murder Americans, civilians and armed forces personnel, and undermine national security further highlight the danger of allowing Mohamadans into the organizations sworn to protect the United States. How many more treacherous savages have to infiltrate American armed forces then slaughter the true defenders of freedom before the U.S. government bars these hostile barbarians from its military?

I wish I had a Democrat Card so we could arrange a date in the future for women to rip it to shreds and send part of it to the DNC, part to the Fraud and some to Donna. If someone signs up to become an Independent, does that mean they have to support anyone that runs as an independent, or that they need to have a candidate? If there were a Woman’s Party, would they have to have a candidate to form or how does something like this get started?

From the Hill:

A House Democratic leader said Monday she’s “confident” controversial language on abortion will be stripped from a final healthcare bill.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), the Democrats’ chief deputy whip in the House, said that she and other pro-abortion rights lawmakers would work to strip the amendment included in the House health bill that bars federal funding from subsidizing abortions.

“I am confident that when it comes back from the conference committee that that language won’t be there,” Wasserman Schultz said during an appearance on MSNBC. “And I think we’re all going to be working very hard, particularly the pro-choice members, to make sure that’s the case.”

The amendment, offered by Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), won the support of Republicans and dozens of centrist Democrats in the House, but revealed a deep divide in the Democratic caucus over abortion.

Sixty-four Democrats voted for Stupak’s amendment, without which the House healthcare bill would not have won final passage in a 220-215 vote.

Stupak’s language not only prohibits abortion coverage in the public insurance option included in the House bill. It would also prevent private plans from offering coverage for abortion services if they accept people who are receiving government subsidies.

(Making sure that poorer folks will not get coverage??)

NUmber one, this bill proves they dont have a clue about health care.
Number two, this bill is obama’s new oposition, he cant talk with his bulsterous voice if he doesnt have opposition. He’s
campaigning now to get his way. Just to prove how impotent he is.

Number three, many of those people in the senate and house have daughters, they will do what they do under circumstances of their own, but want to tell us what we should do with our own, or not do.
This proves, three strikes you are all out, you dont know anymore
about healthcare than you know about how to be an honest politician. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOl
You are gonna hear from the American people all of you, women and men alike and if you dont get a grip, it aint gonna be pretty.

Medicaid covers the poor. Medicare covers the elderly and disabled, so fuck that up too why dont ya.

This whole deal is nothing more than a way to get our money, im telling ya, it all boils down to that, period.
Fix what we have and when you prove you can do that, come back with a bill that is proper, until then kiss my ass.

Thanks for posting this article. I keep thinking of the pregnant soldier and her unborn child and the other victims killed or critically injured by this viper in the bosom of our U.S. Armed Forces. My heart goes out to the victims’ families. These are people who volunteered to serve in protecting America and Americans, people who volunteered to protect our freedoms. I cannot muster any sympathy for this rabid killer who coldly, calmly continued to fire more than 100 rounds at his own Army colleagues and American civilians who were trying to run and seek cover from his fanatical rampage. No one forced him to join the U.S. Armed Forces. No one forced him to accept the hard-earned American taxpayer dollars that funded his expensive medical/psychiatric education. No one forced him to accept the paychecks he received for many years as a member of the U.S. Army, also paid for with hard-earned American taxpayer dollars. If he was so torn about serving with the U.S. Armed Forces in combat situations in Iraq or Afghanistan, why did he join to begin with, knowing full well that such service eventually would be required? What about the loyalty oath he took upon joining the U.S. Armed Forces? This man is a cold-blooded killer, a terrorist and a traitor. He should be punished accordingly.

Murphy, as promised, just sent $25.00 contribution to PUMA PAC via snail mail for being first to post on previous thread. Thanks for all you do, Murphy!

I keep remembering what many PUMAs said last year after the sham of a so-called D convention in Denver: ‘We didn’t abandon the D party; the party abandoned us.’ After less than a year in office, it should be painfully clear to everyone paying attention that the Ds’ abandonment of its traditional constituencies — particularly women — is complete. After the corruption, fraud, thievery, thuggery, disenfranchisement of millions of voters that put BO into the WH, I have known for many months that I can never again consider myself a D. The party completely abandoned and trampled on every principle of individual freedom that our democracy’s founding documents so eloquently guarantee to every American citizen. The Ds are now the party of ‘O,’ nothing more. The Ds merely carry out BO’s arrogant, ridiculous, reckless agenda. Their allegiance to BO is a prerequisite to getting party support for their election or re-election. Personally, I can’t fathom how any self-respecting candidate, particularly women candidates, can consider themselves Ds, knowing as they must the completely fraudulent, sexist/misogynistic manner in which BO attained the WH, with the full complicity of the D party’s so-called leaders, including Pelosi. My personal ‘line in the sand’ is that I will never support any candidate who has supported BO in any way, shape or form. Rather, I will work my hardest to defeat them. That especially includes those who voted for the Pelosi hc bill with the ‘Stupid Prick’ amendment this past Saturday.

Sorry I misled you, no you can’t vote in the primaries unless the party allows or invites independents. The dems usually invite indies to vote in thier primaries. The repubs have never done that. You can however vote in the general elections for whomever you want.

Demi Moore would rather not be called a cougar but rather a puma.
She states:
“I’m certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl. I don’t know why that is. But I just kind of step back sometimes and say, ‘There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?…I’d prefer to be called a Puma.”

30

theamericanway 11.09.09 at 4:40 pm

re Shadowfax #3 Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schulz:

Her statement confirms what we’ve been seeing: Congress plays games rather than voting on principle. No morality there.

I’m also including this which has important and depressing information: “What was Speaker Nancy Pelosi thinking as she reveled in the passage of the House’s health care bill? snip Does she expect that creating 111 new government bureaucracies and offices will make it easier for most of us to receive medical treatment? Does she think that sharply raising marginal tax rates for our highest-earning citizens and small businesses will spur productivity and hiring?
snip
Whether you are for or against it, this is truly a monumental disruption of our economy. Once enacted, we will never go backwards. There has never been a social program of this scope that has been rescinded. If unhappy, Americans can vote their legislators out of office but, make no mistake, the damage will have been done.

I really don’t need for the U.S. law enforcement and military communities to be so ‘PC’ and ‘sensitive’ that they favor the perpetrators over victims of such heinous crimes. That’s ridiculous on the face of it. Their job is to deal swiftly and surely with criminals and enemies, and I want them to be as tough as possible in defending and protecting us, our country and our freedoms. I don’t want them to stand around lamely dithering about what are the correct euphemisms when children, women and our volunteer military are being abused, brutalized, raped and murdered by barbaric gangs and terrorists.

Letter From House Dems Pledging To Vote Against Bill With Stupak

November 7, 2009

The Honorable Nancy Pelosi
Speaker
U.S. House of Representatives
H-232 Capitol
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Madam Speaker:

As members of Congress we believe that women should have access to a full range of reproductive health care. Health care reform must not be misused as an opportunity to restrict women’s access to reproductive health services.

The Stupak-Pitts amendment to H.R. 3962, The Affordable Healthcare for America Act, represents an unprecedented and unacceptable restriction on women’s ability to access the full range of reproductive health servicesto which they are lawfully entitled. We will not vote for a conference report that contains language that restricts women’s right to choose any further than current law.

Sincerely,

The shakesville article at the ‘non-Pumas’ link in Murphy’s post is excellent. Excerpts:

“But women are just, as always, the expendable canaries in the coal mine. Their rights are toast, which means so are everyone else’s.

I’m going to shout that: WOMEN’S RIGHTS ARE TOAST WHICH MEANS SO ARE EVERYONE ELSE’S.

Rights are for all. When only some people have them, they’re just privileges. And privileges can be taken away.

Think through the consequences of what equal rights for all really means, and you wind up with a system that doesn’t look much like what we have now…

The right to control one’s own person is fundamental…”

http://www.femisex.com/content/obama-sold-women-out-teddys-funeral-plus-how-stupid-does-us-rep-diana-degette-d-c0-think-wom

Also, femisex has a great post re Donna DeGette (D, CO), which is a great example of why I can’t vote for any and all candidates who happen to be women. DeGette is a sycophantic BO supporter, who sold out HRC in the primary, and sold out women by voting for the Pelosi hc bill with the ‘Stupid Prick’ amendment. Now, she has the gall to go on MSNBC to say women should be furious about this amendment, and that she would never vote for any bill with such language! Obviously, she’s been well-trained in the BO school of promise-them-anything-to-get-their-vote-then-renege and talk-out-of-both-sides-of-your-mouth school of how to further your own personal political fortunes by screwing the voters, especially women voters(the same school Pelosi attended). Sorry, but that’s one woman I will work my hardest to defeat. Speaking of those who’ve sold out women, also of interest in the femisex post is the indication that the day of TK’s funeral, BO and the bishop who gave the eulogy apparently hatched the hc bill’s anti-choice deal!

60

Puma-SF 11.09.09 at 5:45 pm

Murphy: Here’s what HillaryIS44 had to say about her:

But some women are too hardheaded, if not stupid or supine, to learn. Representatives Diana DeGette and Louise Slaughter (Chairwoman of the Rules Committee) are the laughingstocks who co-chair the laughingstock “Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus”. These two clowns wrote last night:

“Placing onerous new restrictions on a woman’s right to choose sets a terrible precedent and marks a significant step backwards. This effort will effectively ban abortion coverage in all plans, both private and public – marking a significant scaling back of the options offered under existing laws. Such a terrible, last minute amendment to a critical, historic piece of legislation is a shame. This kind of outrageous interference in health care by the government marks a sad day in this struggle and will result in women across America losing the right to health care.”
These two clowns issued the statement then voted for the health care scam last night. Louise Slaughter, as the wooden chair who runs the Rules Committee earlier scampered from the Rules Committee when the Stupak Amendment was allowed to proceed to a vote on the House floor.

Early last month, DeGette the clown wrote:

Since the beginning of the health care reform debate, we have committed ourselves to the premise that nothing in the bill should change existing abortion laws in this country. The Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus will not vote in favor of a bill that takes a woman’s access to care back one step.”

The Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus is over 190 members strong.
Shouldn’t that read “190 members weak“?

We certainly do not begrudge “pro-life” representatives the right to fight for their viewpoint. What we mock is the weakness of clowns like Slaughter and DeGette who prove to be useless cowards after making grand declarations about how they will fight and “not vote in favor of a bill that takes a woman’s access to care back one step.” Then these clowns vote for the bill even as they declare and denounce “a terrible precedent and marks a significant step backwards“. They are Clowns who must not be listened to or believed.

Digging on HC bill

We need to follow up on this…
“These amendments were consolidated into a 42 page “Manager’s Amendment” and were automatically passed at the same time HR 3962 was approved last night.”

“[T]he provisions as drafted would not require individuals to verify their identity when confirming eligibility for subsidies-encouraging identity fraud while still permitting undocumented immigrants and other ineligible individuals from obtaining taxpayer-subsidized benefits.”

NOW FOR THE GOOD PART….NY 23 RESIDENTS were HAD and they are MAD!

*****”President Obama Acknowledged Today That He and Bill Owens Pulled a Health Care Fast One on the Voters in NY-23″****

***”The New York Times is reporting that in his pep talk to the Democrats in Congress this morning, President Obama acknowledged that he and newly elected NY-23 Democratic Congressman Bill Owens have pulled a fast one on the voters in that district.”***

And this newspaper has his posting on the Gov’t website stating he was against the HC bill….more mad voters!!!!
They now know they were USED!

Fort Hood Shooter gets attorney:

AP Breaking: Lawyer asks investigators not to question Hasan

KILLEEN, Texas – The attorney for a man suspected in a deadly shooting spree at Fort Hood, Texas, says he’s heading to San Antonio to meet his client.

Retired Col. John P. Galligan says he was retained by Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan’s family on Monday. He says he has asked investigators not to question Hasan and doesn’t know if he’s been medically cleared to talk.

Hasan is accused of opening fire on the Army post on Thursday, killing 13 people and wounding 29 before civilian police shot him. He remains at a U.S. Army hospital in San Antonio, where a spokesman said Monday he is now able to talk.

Authorities won’t say when charges would be filed or if Hasan would face military justice.

Galligan questions whether Hasan could get a fair trial anywhere, given the widespread attention to the case.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information.

Letter from a PUMA, with a few edits:

November 7, 2009

Nancy Pelosi
Speaker
U.S. House of Representatives
H-232 Capitol
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Madam Speaker:

As member of the Democratic Party I believe that women should have access to a full range of reproductive health care. Health care reform must not be misused as an opportunity to restrict women’s access to reproductive health services.

The Stupak-Pitts amendment to H.R. 3962, The Affordable Healthcare for America Act, represents an unprecedented and unacceptable restriction on women’s ability to access the full range of reproductive health services to which they are lawfully entitled. As a woman, I will not support anyone in Congress with my vote that defends the conference report that contains language that restricts women’s right to choose any further than current law.

Sincerely,

Thanks for the update, goofs. I just have to wonder, if any American were (by some huge stretch) somehow allowed to sign on with the military in an Islamic country (say Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia), and then go on a fanatic, rabid, religious-belief-based shooting spree against the soldiers and civilians of that country, how long does anyone guess that American would be allowed to even live, much less receive a long, drawn-out, ‘PC,’ ‘sensitive’ trial? Anyone? anyone? Hasan needs to be court martialed. The sooner, the better.

Radical imam praises alleged Fort Hood shooter
Web site Monday.

The posting on the Web site for Anwar al Awlaki, who was a spiritual leader at two mosques where three 9/11 hijackers worshipped, said American Muslims who condemned the attacks on the Texas military base last week are hypocrites who have committed treason against their religion.

Awlaki said the only way a Muslim can justify serving in the U.S. military is if he intends to “follow in the footsteps of men like Nidal.”

But the best round of giggles comes from Planned Parenthood:

“Opponents of legal abortion and health care for women are emboldened by Saturday night’s vote and ready to bring their ban on abortion to the Senate floor. But now it’s our turn. And this time we are going to use our strongest weapon: the White House.

That’s why, today, we are calling on President Obama to ensure that lawmakers, especially those in his own party, support health care reform that protects women’s access to reproductive care as the next round of debate and voting occurs in the Senate.”

It seems like the “pro=life’ crowd will get their way. Why?
Integrity.
You may disagree with them but you can’t deny they stand their ground and fight for their beliefs. The “pro-choice” side?
What a joke. They have sold their beliefs 9if they ever actually had any) along with their souls for….? What I don’t really know.
We have fallen through the looking glass.
The widespread support of their fraudulent candidate has set the stage for what we are now seeing.

Notice that some of you up thread watched the Berlin celebrations? Only caught the last few minutes of BBC America and saw a finale with Barack Obama sending a video message on huge screens either side of the Brandenburg gate? Is that how it went? Why was he given such a prominent role?

Here are his words from the BBC site:

US PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, IN A VIDEO ADDRESS

November 9, 1989, will always be remembered and cherished in the United States. Like so many Americans, I will never forget the images of people tearing down the wall. There could be no clearer rebuke of tyranny, there could be no stronger affirmation of freedom.

Few would have foreseen… that a united Germany would be led by a woman from (the east German state) Brandenburg or that their American ally would be led by a man of African descent. But human destiny is what human beings make of it.

THE NARCISSISM NEVER CEASES TO BLOW ME AWAY. IT IS NOT ABOUT HIM – IT JUST IS NOT ABOUT HIM. A MAN OF AFRICAN DESCENT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS CELEBRATION.

And here is Hillary’s quote:

US SECRETARY OF STATE HILLARY CLINTON

Now we have to turn our attention to the challenges of the 21st century. A wall, a physical wall, may have come down but there are other walls that exist that we have to overcome and we will be working together to accomplish that.

US SECRETARY OF STATE HILLARY CLINTON

Now we have to turn our attention to the challenges of the 21st century. A wall, a physical wall, may have come down but there are other walls that exist that we have to overcome and we will be working together to accomplish that.

It is going to be very great with one of the biggest meteor shower events of our lifetime. I would recomend everyone mark their calendars for this historic event. Plus it is just going to be mad cool.

On Nov. 17, 2009, Earth will pass through the 1466 stream again, but this time closer to the center. Based on the number of meteors observed in 2008, Vaubaillon can estimate the strength of the coming display: five hundred or more Leonids per hour during a few-hour peak centered on 21:43 UT.

I’m so frustrated, outraged, enraged at the events of this past week and weekend, and so, trying to channel these feelings, I keep trying to figure out a way for the ‘women’s voting bloc’ to make some sort of meaningful statement. What I keep coming up with is this vision of hundreds of thousands of women gathering together and casting into a huge pile their D and R voter registration cards, AARP membership cards, NARAL membership cards, PP membership cards, large effigies of the D donkey and the R elephant. Next, I see them creating a huge bonfire of all this, and then turning their backs and walking away as the bonfire surges then turns to ashes, as the hundreds of thousands of women go to listen to women’s activist speakers. I’m thinking the speakers discuss the reasons why women can no longer support political parties or quasi-political (so-called non-partisan) organizations who continue to use women’s issues as mere political sticks and carrots to manipulate women’s votes and contributions, with absolutely no intention (and no track record) of ever delivering on any promises regarding women’s freedoms, equality and rights. I’m thinking the speakers discuss the reasons why women must form their own party, fund and field their own candidates. I’m thinking the speakers read a Declaration of Women’s Independence, along with a list of demands. (I envision that these documents would have been compiled/written by the many excellent thinkers/writers throughout the diverse coalition across the PUMAsphere). Women are mad as hell and we’re not going to take this anymore. Women are the majority of voters in this country. Women are the majority of workers in this country. Women are the ones who make most of the family financial decisions in this country. Women are the ones who do most of the volunteer work in this country. Women are the ones who do virtually all of the child rearing and virtually all of the work in the home. Women do not need to stand by idly and allow the male patriarchal powers that be (and their blind, sycophantic female supporters) to dictate what freedoms and rights women can or cannot have. We demand equality of rights, and therefore we demand full, equal representation at all levels of our government. We demand that the Equal Rights Amendment be ratified and made part of the Constitution. We demand a Congressional Medal of Honor for Alice Paul, the early suffragist, lifelong feminist, and author and lifelong champion of the Equal Rights Amendment. We demand a commitment from every level of government to end the abuse, brutalization, neglect, rape, murder and violence against children and women, and we demand adequate funding at all government levels to aggressively prosecute the perpretrators of these crimes and to protect and rehabilitate the children and women who are victims. We demand that our government and justice system at all levels end their ‘PC’ silence on blatant Islamic gender apartheid and its pernicious spread in our country, which has led to ever-more horrific acts of violence against children and women. We demand equality of rights for all American citizens, including the LGBT community. We demand an end to the debate about women’s right to control all decisions regarding their own bodies. The decision regarding whether to terminate a pregnancy is each individual woman’s to make, in concert with any significant people in her life whom she wishes to involve in the decision. Neither the state nor any outside persons or organizations have any right or sayso in this decision at all, and it is a violation of the Constitutional guarantee of the right to privacy for the state or any outside persons or organizations to try to intervene in a woman’s decision in this matter. The ethical/moral aspects of the decision whether or not to terminate a pregnancy are for each individual woman to grapple with in her own way and within her own specific support circle. We demand an end to sexist/misogynistic characterizations and discussions of women by the media, and an end to the sexual objectification of women that utterly denigrates women and destroys their individual personhood by reducing them to the level of mere things to be consumed by men. (Obviously, this is just my stream-of-consciousness take on all this, and I’m now realizing I’ve taken up way too much space on the blog. But, you get the idea. Maybe it’s just a dream. Or, maybe it’s a start…)

Pfizer abandons site of infamous Kelo eminent domain taking

The private homes that New London, Conn., took away from Suzette Kelo and her neighbors have been torn down. Their former site is a wasteland of fields of weeds, a monument to the power of eminent domain.

But now Pfizer, the drug company whose neighboring research facility had been the original cause of the homes’ seizure, has just announced that it is closing up shop in New London.

To lure those jobs to New London a decade ago, the local government promised to demolish the older residential neighborhood adjacent to the land Pfizer was buying for next-to-nothing. Suzette Kelo fought the taking to the Supreme Court, and lost. Five justices found this redevelopment met the constitutional hurdle of “public use.”
