As for having the votes to pass such a measure, both women said a public option would survive. They wouldn’t get into numbers of congressional supporters, but said it was simply a matter of picking which type of public option to pursue.

IMHO these health care plans (so far) are SO set to screw senior citizens

I know a lot of people are mad at Insurance companies for one reason or another BUT I do not believe they are making “obscene profits”(per Nancy Pelosi). Almost two weeks ago I posted some info for Headclunker because she likes to crunch numbers) but hoped the rest of you would be interested. No-one commented. Now Fox has finally picked up on it. Look at net profit margin % and you will see that Health Care Plans are way down at 3.3%. Even waste management (garbage) is higher at 6.4%. Other medical industries (such as hospitals and healthcare facilities) are way higher. I am amazed that The Heath Care Plans profits are only 3.3% of revenue – so perhaps there is more than meets the eye?
