in America 2.0,Brand Obama,Media Bias

obrand_dwp09_pumapac

So, people are MORE likely to trust what a company says about their own product than they are to believe what a newspaper article says about it. Nice. Way to go, American Media. obama’s massive web presence, along with the media loving the heck out of him, was too much for the naturally skeptical American I guess. What time is the alarm set for to wake Americans up to reality?

Interesting that the poster mentions Obama brand. Last night MacKenzie Phillips replied to Michelle Phillips’ (her stepmother) insistence that the incest never happended and that MacKenzie is crazy. MacKenzie who really likes Michelle, says that Michelle is denying the inceat to protect something and she suspects it is the Mamas and Pappas brand. I loved the M & P’s songs but I always knew they were all really wild and heavily into drugs. It’s a shame Michelle is refusing to support MacKenzie after she admintted years ago that she did not take care of MacKenzie when she was young and living with them.

Annual ‘Count Day’ Determines How Much State Money Schools Will Get; a Test for District’s Emergency Financial Manager

DETROIT — Public school districts across Michigan mobilized Wednesday to boost attendance for Count Day, the annual fall roll call that largely determines how much money each district receives under the state’s per-pupil funding system.

Students in Detroit were treated to free meals, ice-cream parties, T-shirts, celebrity visits and a chance to win iPods and a plasma-screen TV — just for showing up for class.

Enrollment has plummeted roughly 50% in the past decade, contributing to a $259 million deficit this year that has put the district on the brink of bankruptcy.

BCL — yup. I think you’re right — it’s the Mamas and the Papas brand.

Violet SOx has an interesting take on it — she reminds us that MIchelle Phillips is not a stranger to incest and is surprised by her reluctance to support Mackenzie.

Does Chynna Phillips believe her sister?

never mind.

“Mackenzie Phillips’ half-sister, Chynna Phillips, is backing up her half-sister’s incest claims on UsMagazine.com.
She tells Us that in 1997, 11 years after MacKenzie says the affair ended, Mackenzie called Chynna and told her about the physical relationship.

“She said, ‘I don’t know why, but I just really felt the need to call you and tell you something that I think you need to know,’ ” said Chynna.

“[Mackenzie] went on to tell me that she had had an incestuous relationship with our dad for about 10 years.”

She already knew that her father and MacKenzie did drugs together and that after a long night of heroin together, MacKenzie once woke up with her father having sex with her.

“Was he actually raping her? I don’t know,” says Chynna. “Do I believe that they had an incestuous relationship and that it went on for 10 years? Yes.”"

Like Michelle Phillip’s friend, MacKenzie says she ended the relationship after she got pregnant. Her father paid for the abortion but they never knew if he was the father since MacKenzie was also with her boyfriend.
