I know you said you will help 95% of us voters and my state will raise my taxes and charge more for things like gas to help pay it’s 42 Billion dollar deficit.
I don’t think the $8/week from the ~~PorkPie~~ HR1+ Bill will cover my loses so enclosed are all of my past due bills and especially the big one to the property tax guys. I know you will pay these for me since you mentioned over and over again that it was people like me that you wanted to help the most.
I might loose my job, and I would appreciate being able to stay in one of your extra rooms in the Whitehouse if that happens.
I have run out of Kool-aid so please send me a check to cover my food expenses.
This is gonna be a difficult year, having to ask you to pay for everything…but I know that’s why you worked so hard with the DNC to get yer new job.

Here in West Virginia, we’ve got a balanced budget. Sure, the economy, or lack there of, is hurtin everyone, but we hate to owe people, so we sacrificed some programs to balance our budget.

How much then, as a member of a fiscally responsible state, am I gonna have to pay to help out the states that are out of money? I mean, I don’t mind lending a helping hand, but what’s in it for me?

I don’t think I read anywhere in this stimulus plan that’s gonna help me pay the astronomical medical bills for my critical ill kid, or cut the red tape on mortgage refinancing so I can breath easier. I’d probably be better off to go into foreclosure, so I can get some help. Just goes against my grain, though. I’m not asking for a hand-out, I just want it made easier to sustain the things I’ve already work for. Hell, even if you got rid of the ATM fees, would be a step in the right direction.

I suppose I’m stepping over the boundaries on that last remark. Everyone knows those poor executives are losing their lively hood. Hell, I read where a couple of them might have to sell some of their houses, and not get a bonus next year.

Well, Mr. BO, I’ll quit complaining, I know your’s is a hard job. It must be taxing flying all over the country campaigning. By the way, what are you campaigning for? You won, remember? I don’t suppose you put money in that stimulus pkg. to cover your expenses for flyin all over the country. Sorry, for asking, but seems like somebody has to cover the cost. Maybe Barney Frank could give you some pointers on how to cut corners.

Murphy – tomorrow is the last day for Public Comments to the FEC. Can you send something in for the PAC? There are some suggestions posted on the Team’s page. Others can send it in without name and address and they will not publish it, but may still get the message.

How is he going to manage $900 billion when he can’t handle $750 million responsibly?

BO has applied for Quarterly FEC reporting and has refunded only a small fraction of the exceedances of our complaints. His campaign funds are down lower than his questionable holdings. They are fighting it. I do not know if it is the money or the admission of incompetence that is the motive or the opposition but you bet it is a thorn in his craw.

A lot of PUMA have done a lot of work on this. Just reviewing our submissions is probably taxing the resources that the FEC is given to regulate these things. It IS important. Even though the campaign funds are dwarfed by the Porkulus, this is going to demonstrate his pattern of financial irresponsibility and make it more difficult for him to shirk responsibility when Porkulus fails.

We must hold our selected officials responsible. Do not let him get away with this to do it again in 2012.

Apparently, it’s now legal according to state law for any individual to grow as many as 6 plants for medicinal purposes and you can get a prescription from most any doctor. The limit was recently lowered from 25.
But, supposedly, pot is the only thing saving the economies of Humboldt, Mendocino and Lake Counties. It was reported that, without it, most local business would fail because nobody would have money to spend at them.
One guy reported paying $200,000.00 in state income tax last year, and $500,000. in federal income tax.
Seems that marijuana is the #1 cash crop for the entire west coast. Amazing!!!!

Troy Brisport, 34, was charged with kidnapping and felonious assault. Bail was set Tuesday at $400,000.

He picked up the woman Wednesday night in Detroit after she told him she had nowhere to stay, and brought her to his home in Toledo, about 90 kilometres away, police said.

The woman told police that after she fell asleep Brisport handcuffed her wrists and ankles, gagged her, undressed her and put her in an adult diaper, then read Bible passages, said police Capt. Ray Carroll.

She apparently was not sexually assaulted, Carroll said.

However, court documents alleged that Brisport tried several times to suffocate the woman using a pillow and blanket.

The woman told police she escaped Saturday after Brisport fell asleep. Police found her dressed only in a T-shirt and the adult diaper and still wearing handcuffs.

There was no immediate response Tuesday to a call seeking comment from jail officials.

None of us, as far as I know, are privy to HRC’s decision to be part of this administration. However, be sure that she considered her options, and thought this was her best choice to help America. Speaking only for myself, I was very disappointed in her decision. Considering her expertise in all areas of government, I believe that her talents are being totally wasted. But whatever else HRC is, she is her own woman, and obviously keeps her own counsel. We will just have to wait to see how it all plays out and hope for the best.

Planning on finally buying a reloader and stock piling gun powder and lead. When i go to the local skeet range they will let you pic up spent shells and cartridge cases by the bucket full for free. I figure i am able to reload a full box of shot gun shells for $4 compared to the 7-8 dollar price at wal-mart. Just food for thought but i am trying to convert our family to be as self sufficient as possible. Same with gardening, animals, etc. Our plan is still on course to move to alaska and than transition to a self sufficent family that doenst rely on government or stores for much of anything.

The patriot act is an infringement on our rights. I do not believe in torture. I never thought we should go to war with Iraq. I hate domestic wire tapping.

Now those are all things republicans did when in control and they have to take responsibility for that. Although they got some help from the dems.

But those reasons are not partisan reasons, in my mind. I think they are american values. I do have some personal ideological partisan differences, but they aren’t really important to the conversation because I do not believe the dems are doing what is right either.

It’s past either party for me. They both make me sick. And Republicans are not the answer. That is the disconnect.

Just to put the icing on the cake, Chelsea Clinton has started her new program at Columbia university in Public Health. She will serve this country that have parents have served for so long in ways that we may never imagine. THAT IS HOPE. I still believe in a place called hope!

I spent the first year of my life in Arkansas, as a baby born when Clinton was governor. I voted for the first time in 1996 for President Clinton. These are our leaders of hope.

So, THE ONLY thing I can say about Obama being elected is that I am inspired deeply, I feel hopeful because I can see these great leaders across multiple generations inspire future generations, serve our country, and welcome the world with open and caring arms just as the world welcomes them. That is MY party, Obamites. That is the Democratic way.

It’s almost funny because President Clinton is breaking down this stimulus package and has almost taken it on as a mantlepiece for himself to help the country. He speaks, he talks to those who are listening and he is explaining it. I have a feeling by the time President Clinton is done with this week of talking about the stimulus you are going to see a lot HIGHER approval for it from the people than you would from Obama preachin’ gloom and doom from the pulpit. The comment above that the government is required by law to run a seized business is incorrect. I am a retired fed and know exactly how the procedure in the seizure of property works. In addition, just as the media portrayed BO the way they wanted him portrayed, the media portrays federal agents the way they think will sell the most papers or get the most people to watch their t.v. stations. If you start to believe the media regarding feds just remember what you learned about the media regarding BO.

I also have personal experience of a personal tragedy being in the papers. The media portrayed the murderer as the victim because he knew how to play them.
