Today’s Winner of the Puma PAC
DAILY PIG

Bill O’Reilly!

retarded-pig

Congratulations, you Handsome Devil, You!

oreillyoinker

“On last night’s show (February 9th) O’Reilly compared Ms. Thomas to “the Wicked Witch of the East” along with disparaging remarks about her appearance and age. Guest Bernard Goldberg added his own insult, and even Alan Colmes, while attempting to defend her, seemed to be having too much fun.  This kind of verbal degradation in the guise of humor is unacceptable, and as Media Matters has documented, it’s part of an on-going pattern where he’s targeted Thomas.  It was an attack no woman deserves—including this accomplished, award winning journalist working in the White House press corps, where women are underrepresented.” From the Women’s Media Center, an excellent site.

O’Reilly is also the guy who ridiculed Sarah Palin during the campaign when he told The View that he was disappointed she was refusing to appear on his show because he had “some outfits he wanted her to try on.”

Jackass.

Dear Fox News,

Bill O’Reilly’s sexist insults have to STOP!

I am a member of Puma PAC, People United Means Action (http://pumapac.org) and have been well aware of how damaging the sexist and misogynistic remarks of prominent media personalities like Bill O’Reilly are.

During the election he repeatedly ridiculed accomplished women running for office using the most offensive and well-known sexist cliches. His latest remarks, disparaging the looks and age of legendary White House reporter Helen Thomas, are unacceptable. Helen Thomas and the millions of viewers Bill O’Reilly also offended  deserve an immediate, on-air apology.

Sincerely,

Your Name

Puma PAC Member (www.pumapac.org)

I’ve started watching HGTV at his time zone. He gave Obama a pass when he had him on his show. And, then he spent his time slobbering over the fact that BO came onto his show!

Pigs!

Oh Murphy, go ahead and harm a few!

Rationing, just an excuse to raise our pg&e bill.
Lurk less, pounce more.

Both those pigs are darn ugly. Dances, does that also make me sexist?

Poor Helen Thomas is experiencing this country’s ageism and sexism, but she still asks the most pointed questions in the news conferences. BO tried to patronize her the other night by saying he was honored to be answering her first question to him and she cut him off. Speaking of Fox tv ex-gov. Blago is going to be on Hannity tonight for an interview for those who are following his saga.

okay, that PROWL took like 45 seconds.

I never liked O’Reilly. I can watch Hannity and Greta, but O’Reilly is not for me. He’s condescending to women. The only woman that he seemed to respect (the rare show that I watched of his) was when he interviewed Hillary. He gave her tough questions though. He gave Bambi softball questions and basically gushed all over him.

17

henry 02.11.09 at 6:03 pm

Was anything ever sadder than watching O’Reilley melting like butter every time obama touched his leg during an interview. Obama played him like a fiddle and I am sure bill had a tingle going down his leg while it happanned. Grossest thing I have ever watched on TV. Maybe bombarding every conservative with a clip of bo loving bo might be an effective prowl.

18

Nijma 02.11.09 at 6:06 pm

The fact is that we have a huge war debt. We have to wind that down–if we can–and start paying down the debt. Bush’s military-industrial-complex buddies already raided the treasury for 8 years and they are laughing all the way to the bank. Now Teh One’s buddies who got him elected have their hands out too. But how much were the campaign contributions and how much is the payoff? Seems a little disproportionate, no?

The current “stimulus bill” is nothing more than using your Mastercard to pay off your Visa bill.

In the end Iraq has to be settled. It will not be settled until Palestine is a state.

the phone number on the Federal website, and it is the number listed. Or you can register online:
http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall/

REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers Go Public next month.
REMINDER…. all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sale calls.

…. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222.
It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.

HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS.. It takes about 20 seconds.

Has any one heard this?

BigCatLover 02.11.09 at 6:08 pm

They’ve removed the tax credits for purchasing a home or a car from the stimulus bill compromise. Aren’t those industries some of the ones that needed the stimulus the most? I’d like to know who opposed those provisions.

21

Nijma 02.11.09 at 6:10 pm

Geek tip for those with a MAC that couldn’t send out prowl…

On the Mac at work I had to change the semicolon between each email to a comma.

23

Why does anyone listen to these idiots like Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly? Especially if they have any teeth left. If you want to stay informed without a bunch of partisan crap, and outright lies, try National Public Radio.

24

LJSNAustin 02.11.09 at 6:23 pm

Prowl completed. O’Reilly makes me ill.

25

Ex-DemInVA 02.11.09 at 6:27 pm

NPR was not nice to Hillary during the Primary. It was very biased towards Obama.

26

bmw60 02.11.09 at 6:27 pm

You know Nijma… I listen to Rush.. and I am tired of people on this blog telling me what to listen to…no one tells you what to listen to… You make me ill!!!… O’Reilly another one!!!

I have listened to the main stream media for years and felt like you do, but I no longer am getting my news from them because they do not tell the truth… neither does NPR… they gush just as much over Obama as the MSM… otherwise we would have heard more about Obambi’s past from them.

27

bmw60 02.11.09 at 6:29 pm

Bye group… until one listens to all viewpoints and stops calling people stupid … then maybe, just maybe we will get something done!

National Public Radio is in the tank for the fraud – there is no unbiased media anymore. Journalism died in 2008 – the only one I watch anymore is Lou Dobbs on CNN (and he needs a sexist notification too), Sean Hannity (I ignore his Jesus freak stuff) and Greta Van Sustern. As far as I’m concerned, the rest of them can all go to hell in a handbasket holding their asses with both hands, screaming not me, not me all the way there…….

Got to finish my FECK stuff……………bbl

bmw60 02.11.09 at 6:27 pm

I listen to Rush as well, but I’ve already been through this point over and over here. We should all be allowed to listen to whom we want to listen to, and we should respect each others’ opinions. Just remember that whomever you listen to, practice Critical Thinking.

31

Ex-DemInVA 02.11.09 at 6:40 pm

Apparently, according to Fox News, Harry Reid let the cat out of the bag when he spoke about the so-called agreement that was reached today. The agreement was reached in the overnight hours – secretly. Not everyone knew this was taking place, nor had they discussed some of the items that were agreed upon. This should be interesting when this gets around the Congress.

IMHO, I think that Rahm is holding something over Collins, Snowe, and Specter to go along with this bill or else. They are acting funny. I think they were strong-armed in some way.

32

bmw60 02.11.09 at 6:40 pm

I do… thank you Ex-DEM… nice to hear that someone is not critical of ME personally…

33

bqueen 02.11.09 at 6:41 pm

Temporarily raising my hand again: Is this old news that TNA is actively opposing Kim Gandy for the position of Director of the Women’s Bureau?? I just found this on their site and, quite honestly, I’m shocked:

No Way, No How to Kim Gandy for Director of Women’s Bureau

I mean, hasn’t Kim Gandy been around a long time working for women’s rights? And the TNA, umm, a few months?

34

bmw60 02.11.09 at 6:44 pm

And I personally think that this prowl is very trivial… so much going on and then we have this prowl for Bill O’Reilly?

Where are we going here?

Count me there bmw..I do not personally listen to Rush, but as some have said–practice critical thinking and chose whoever it is that you prefer to listen to. They ALL are either rabid against ologo or rabid for him . One HAS to listen to all viewpoints to get at the real truth! So carry on.I read your links and decide for myself what is good and what is just Rush talking points.

KerryLINY 02.11.09 at 7:05 pm

Virtually all the politicians are playing games with us from the top looking out for their own interests first. Same with the stimulus. (taggles1 02.11.09 at 5:50 pm was on to a similar thing in prior thread and got me to piece together this comment.) They continue to get rich off their positions, the perks, the power, the importance, the nearly 200K salaries, and while really all the same, they only align themselves to ideologies they sacrifice at a whim – all the while leading us all thinking one or the other is on our side – poor us.

Take the recent posture of the Republicans in railing against the dems in congress and claiming the bill does not do their president justice. Why do they direct the blame at dems and cast BO as the saint? No its not not bipartisan meetings and wining. The answer is the approval ratings. They do not wish to stick their necks out yet because their belief system is so corrupt that political preservation comes first. And McCain finally confirmed it with his reelection email:

“While the leader of the Democratic Party, President Obama, has pledged to change business as usual in Washington and spoken of bipartisanship, I have been saddened to watch as Congressional Democrats try to use their majority to advocate more of the same failed policies and wasteful spending of the past,” he writes. “With so much at stake, now is not the time to step away from my work in the Senate.”
McCain Blames Congressional Democrats For Stimulus Spending Excludes O

He totally exonerated Ologo from blame for the spending bill. All while O is on the road wildly pushing the same bill and actually started the bill rolling! Have some guts Mr Senator.

This is the same way they scream fiscal conservative, small government and then proceed to spend more and grow government while Clinton the dem without any slogan reduced the size of goverment and started them off with a budget surplus. Gave tax cuts more to the rich over 8 years and bankrupted our 401Ks and life savings with their policies – all of them, both sides while the rich initially prospered and Ken Lay, Madoff, and Wall street ran things every which way they wished.

Of course, the blowhards blamed it all on subprime and Clinton 16 years ago even though subprime accounts for about 8% of all foreclosures today (only a fool still believes that the illness in this economy is not bigger than subprime housing, seeing as we dont make almost anything anymore and have so much debt and debt interest from our war spending and tax cuts of 8 years!). And of course, Freeper, Rush and co. pound out the subprime talking points and right wing koolaid drinkers also yup it up. - The rich will save us all by creating jobs, give them more money that’s how capitalism works.

Second point is Judd Gregg. So called conservative with a very high conservative index rating on national journal and previously against the bill when it came out of the house GOP Senators Against Bill. After he was tapped for a cabinet post he shamelessly started singing a pleasant stimulus note:

“I think this economy has to have a major stimulus initiative because the only person — the only group that’s got liquidity around here is the federal government.” – Feb 4. Gregg pushes for stimulus one day after nomination. Of course he recused himself from the vote but his vote was not needed already.

I strongly believe that if Collins, Specter and Snowe were not in the senate, the republicans would have found someone else amongst them to support the bill or will not filibuster it because they really are just posturing and have no integrity or willingness to actually stop it! Not those same folks that doubled the deficit under their watch. Either that or they believe the bill is the fatest return ticket to power.

Its a waste of time to appeal to either side on the stimulus.

41

Ex-DemInVA 02.11.09 at 7:05 pm

Well, I just wrote one of my Senators, Webb-D, and told him that I will not vote for him again if he votes yes on this Stimulus Pork Bill. He already said as much that he supports it, so he won’t get my vote again. The other Senator, Warner, is way too in the tank for Bambi.

somewhat “old” news bqueen#33 — i wrote about it on Sunday.

http://pumapac.org/2009/02/08/another-edition-of-8/

TNA got some egg on their face for trying to organize opposition to Gandy “in secret,” that is by encouraging feminist bloggers to write against Gandy but not acknowledging that the directive/coordination was coming from TNA.

not too bright, but whatever.

I’m not taking part in a circular firing squad. Kim Gandy is the President of NOW — I dont support her or her organization because of how they shamelessly abandoned Hillary Clinton for O’Logo — but . ..

our efforts should be on fighting sexism (among other things) NOT fighting women.

god knows there enough people and groups out there doing that work.

Been lurking. Think you’re on to something here. Don’t believe Dems and Repubs are true adversaries. I believe Obama and Rove and Pelosi and Gingrich made a deal. The Repugs didn’t want Hillary cuz they feared retribution. Nancy promised there would be no investigations or major shifts in policy. Foreign policy, torture, war will remain the same.
Since the media and mortgage banks and major consumer producers are owned by the same people who all made huge contrbutions to the Dems it is impossibe that this economic crisis was not either long expected or precipitated to influence the election.
Neither the Dem or Repub backers wanted campaign finance reform in the shape of McCain-Feingold so the Dems put anti-Feingold member on the FEC.
Guess the Repubs had raped the nation with scares and lies until people got disgusted now the Dems get their chance with a new crisis.

STIMULUS HEALTH CARE PROVISIONS

The “stimulus” health care plan begins with Congress endorsing a very broad, not-well-defined concept in the form of a bill, and then bureaucrats, lobbyists, and unelected officials write and decide the “details.”

Focus your lobbying efforts on those Members of Congress who are medical doctors (MDs). Tell them they need to go to the floor and explain to the American people why electronically monitoring their medical records and treatments is, ultimately, deadly.

Congressional Medical Doctors to Target:
Senator Tom Coburn, MD (R-OK)
Senator John Barrasso, MD (R-WY)
Rep. Paul Broun, MD (R-GA)
Rep. Michael Burgess, MD (R-TX)
Rep. Bill Cassidy, MD (R-LA)
Rep. John Fleming, MD (R-LA)
Rep. Phil Gingrey, MD (R-GA)
Rep. Parker Griffith, MD (D-AL)
Rep. Ron Paul, MD (R-TX)
Rep. Tom Price, MD (R-GA)
Rep. Phil Roe, MD (R-TN)
For the page numbers of health care provisions in the stimulus bill, go here:

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aLzfDxfbwhzs

These doctors may not know what that the health care provisions are in this bill.

Blago is starting to squeal. He told a radio show host that the legislators in Illinois never read the legislation. They go to the head of their party to find out how to vote. I know a lot of Illinois legislators. A few years ago, I asked one how he has time to read all this legislation. He said he doesn’t.

There is a list of the legislators emails, phone numbers and fax numbers on the 411 on the 111 forum.

51

bqueen 02.11.09 at 7:54 pm

Murph, thanks for the link. I read that post – It referred to Heidi Li. I didn’t realize TNA was actually working against Gandy, writing letters to the Prez. I hope Heidi Li didn’t jump onto TNA’s bandwagon. Can’t look up anything right now, and I wasn’t paying attention to NOW during the primaries (except for their pro-Hillary video site which I’d sent lots of suggestions to). But I do know that Gandy has been around for a long time..at least that’s the feeling I have…and doesn’t deserve to be railroaded by other women.

Prowl Done. I actually like Bill O, although I do not necessarily share all his views. He seems to be more his own person than most of the other talking heads. Every once in a while he gets up and shows his shoes.

I had a cheap TV. Then I got a better one so my daughter could play her games. Then my nephew decided my daughter needed a TV for her room so he brought a third one. That makes 3 TV’s that are rarely turned on.

it was NARAL that endorsed obama over hillary — which was outrageous as we all know.

Watch this short video from CNN, The video clearly explains just how easy it is to access all the nitty gritty details about your health care: doctor visits, prescriptions, diagnoses and more. The reporter found all that information in less than 5 minutes! Potential employers and those who you may want to rent from will have your birthdate and SS number.

http://www.patientprivacyrights.org/site/PageServer?pagename=Homepage

Patient Privacy Organization is urging their members to send this to their legislators::

Please do not agree to any further privacy-weakening amendments. In fact, I urge you to strengthen the practical, common sense privacy protections in the House bill that have been ruthlessly targeted by the very industries that profit from selling our sensitive personal health information. Please support the following modifications:

* Limit income for the sale of protected health information to the minimal costs of preparation and transmittal for purposes of research, public health and treatment

* Close the marketing loophole that allows marketing for prescription or health care products or services that were “previously prescribed.”

The House took critical steps to protect Americans’ jobs and opportunities by including essential privacy protections in the $20 billion health IT portion of the “American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The Senate version of the bill introduced loopholes that allow the sale and misuse of your personal health information.

left a voice mail at gretawire. I told Senator Schumer that he is very wrong, Americans do care about all the pork, that my group PUMAPAC read every single line in that bill, and our children and grandchildren will be paying for this for the rest of their lives. I said he might want to go to koolaid rehab if he really believes that statement. gave our website address!

Sorry if this was already posted, just got home and Bill the pig boy just said today he was labeled as a sexist and ageist by some of the far-left loons.

That would be us, but we are no longer far left, let alone loons. Get it right PigBill, we are PUMAs and you are busted.

scarlet 02.11.09 at 8:55 pm

Hidden in the stimulus, a very unhealthy provision

If taxpayers and lawmakers actually have the time to digest what’s in the bill, it stands no chance of passing. The measure claims to “to create jobs, restore economic growth, and strengthen America’s middle class,” but it’s really just a collection of giveaways and outlays for favored constituents and programs.

Nowhere is this more apparent than in the package’s proposed spending on health care. Billions are earmarked for Medicaid and investments in centrally planned health information technology systems. But the most sinister of the bill’s line items is a relatively tiny $1.1 billion for government-chartered comparative-effectiveness research.

This new effort would investigate various medical treatments and attempt to determine which ones work best. Proponents claim that comparative-effectiveness research (CER) would empower doctors and patients to find out if newer, more expensive treatments are really worth the additional cost.

The federal government, which accounts for about a third of our nation’s healthcare spending, obviously has an interest in the outcome of comparative-effectiveness research. If older, cheaper treatments are found to be just as good as the cutting-edge ones, the feds stand to save a lot of money.

NEED A REALITY CHECK!

I like to post on NYC Craigslist to aggravate the nasty O’bot that hypes and race baits there. I made this post from actual trends and events and when I took a look at it I got this freaky feeling that it was just plain too true.

What do you think?

93

goofsmom 02.11.09 at 9:14 pm

Goanderson,

# 68 – I couldn’t agree with you more, when you said “we need leaders”

Frankly, IMHO both party’s are corrupt, both have talking points to confuse and cause devisiveness and as long as people continue to be loyal to party 1st and common sense 2nd, we will continue to be in this mess.

We need leaders who will not sell their souls for a piece of the corruption pie or for their party’s support.

In other words, someone who sticks to their goals and points with out caving because someone higher in the party frowns at them..

94

goofsmom 02.11.09 at 9:17 pm

Headclunker,

The chart you posted was breathtaking. Sometimes things are as plain as the nose on one’s face and sometimes it takes a picture (or chart) to make it apparent.

Thank you for posting that!

IMO these people in Washington are not Democrats or Republicans as we have known in the past. They are corrupt, greedy, power hungry traitors to everything this country stands for!

96

goofsmom 02.11.09 at 9:26 pm

AMEN to that goanderson… I agree with that 100%. They only want what is good for them, what empowers or enriches them and their personal coffers. We are left scrounging and scrimping to get by and they… well, I can’t type what I really want to say because it would have to be deleted for profanity!!!

This part of the Stimulus could give govt. control of healthcare. The Dems slipped it in with no debate. Dashle had a hand in this before he was HHS Sec. Did George Soros? FYI George Soros’s mother was a member of the Hemlock Society and did in fact commit suicide. This is very scary – OMG!

98

Headclunker 02.11.09 at 9:29 pm

So I read Murphy’s post #49 and looked at the effect BO’s election has had on the economy and I am going to go get that tin foil.

It is hard to believe that these people could be so narcissistic and stupid to have done this all by accident. Now, they are acting just like vultures.

I say we need to get serious about impeachment and the upcoming congressional and senate elections to get these people out of office ASAP.

Hillary Clinton Launches E-Suggestion Box..’The Secretary is Listening’

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2009/02/hillary-clint-1.html

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has started a suggestion box on the State Department’s internal intranet site called “The Sounding Board,” which appears to be a message board where ideas can be raised and commented on. Ideas can also be emailed privately to the “Secretary’s Suggestion Box.”

Employees who open up the State Dept’s intranet homepage are greeted with a graphic declaring “The Sounding Board, The Secretary is Listening.” A similar space is in the works for USAID.

110

the cognitive dissonance surrounding the support of people like Kanye West and Jayzee for Rihanna is interesting.

rap star hip hop moguls who’ve made millions peddling misogynistic rants now saying violence against “their” girl is unacceptable??

must consult my Twisty to clear my head about this.

Rihanna reminds me of Britney Spears — in WAY over her head and ill-prepared by her parents for the superstar megarich culture she now finds herself at the white-hot center of.

She seems too immature and naive to get the hell OUT of a relationship in which it’s okay for her to be beat up.

KerryLINY 02.11.09 at 10:11 pm

Ex-Dem #17, henry #18. I thought I was the only one that noticed Oreilly actually sold out to BO during his interview. Apart from all the touching he ended up commenting about him favorably afterwards.

thanks murphy #46 , pumabear #48, more collusion postings will follow in future. the whole lot are simply serving themselves and their rich cronies and donors off all of us the taxpayers and its being going on for years.

Just last week we found out the government paid $254billion for $176billion worth of stock in the bailout (i think murphy commented about this also). What happens when you and I do this? We return to the store where we overpaid and give em hell. Afterall they can confirm this from their record and inventory. What happens when the government does this (gave it to their rich friends and Wall street donors), they quietly wait for the news to die and the press oblige them. Bailout Overpaid $78B For Stocks. $78 billion dollars of our taxes. How long will it take us to save that together? Meanwhile we blame the economy after 8 years of the rich pilfering and expanding on a few poor folks buying a house God forbid that, while rich folks were flipping houses and wall street was leveraging 30 to 1. And then give 78billion to the rich for free. Does anyone know why the government can not get this back or at least receive the rightful number of stocks they bought? I didnt mean to start another rant but the whole group in DC is rotten as is the head.

Don’t apologize, rant away. What is happening is completely ridiculous.

The Audacity of Mendacity
Obama’s real foreign policy agenda

by Justin Raimondo

While the great debate over the “stimulus” spending bill was the focus of President Obama’s Monday sermon, some of the questions asked at a subsequent press conference dealt with foreign policy, including a pointed one by CNN’s Ed Henry, and it was a double zinger:

“Thank you, Mr. President. You’ve promised to send more troops to Afghanistan. And since you’ve been very clear about a timetable to withdraw combat troops from Iraq within 16 months, I wonder, what’s your timetable to withdraw troops eventually from Afghanistan?

“And related to that, there’s a Pentagon policy that bans media coverage of the flag-draped coffins from coming in to Dover Air Force Base. And back in 2004, then-Senator Joe Biden said that it was shameful for dead soldiers to be, quote, ‘snuck back into the country under the cover of night.’

“You’ve promised unprecedented transparency, openness in your government. Will you overturn that policy so the American people can see the full human cost of war?”

Hey, who let that guy in here, anyway?

Obama’s answer is a study in obfuscation and chilling sanctimony eerily reminiscent of his predecessor: “Your question is timely,” the president averred. “We got reports that four American service members have been killed in Iraq today. And, you know, obviously, our thoughts and prayers go out to the families.”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but hasn’t the question been timely for quite some time? After all, U.S. soldiers have been fighting and dying for eight years now in a war with no clear goal – except, perhaps, perpetual conflict for its own sake – and no visible end. Obama’s fabled calmness is really an uncanny ability to utter nonsense with absolute equanimity.

I saw your posts today and I wanted to let you know that I have always respected what you have to say. You seemed so agitated and distressed that I was concerned. Limbaugh can get extreme. I am just a woman in the middle.

The whole business with Bush was bad enough, but now the Democrats have their own Bush and are apparently looking to take revenge. It is all very bad business. Swing right. Swing left. We are all destabilized. I am just a woman in the middle. I just want fair.

And I keep thinking, “If only they had supported Clinton….”

But they did not and now things are tough. I hope you will hang in there with us.
