What Heidi said,

“. . . if a feminist looks like President-elect Obama then a feminist looks exactly like somebody who has done nothing, and I do mean nothing, to suggest that he will fight for increased social justice for women. This is the person who has retained Jon “The Groper” Favreau as his chief speechwriter; installed Tim “I’m not really for serious guarantees of Roe v. Wade” Kaine as the DNC Chair; appointed far fewer women to his cabinet or to cabinet-level positions than Bill Clinton did and barely the number that George W. Bush has (more on that here and here and best of all here). Between the choice of Rick “Women who exercise their right to abortion are like Nazis” Warren to give the invocation at the Inaugural Ceremony itself and total silence with regard to how the economic stimulus package he is proposing will aid those likely to be hit hardest – yes, women – I have to say that if President-Elect is Ms. Magazine’s idea of what a feminist looks like, I  would hate to see their vision of what an anti-feminist looks like.”

And, what Violet Sox said too. Oh, and Riverdaughter. And Madamab, and Taggles. You get the picture:

Dear Ms. Kort,

I am a member of Puma PAC, People United Means Action (http://pumapac.org). Our organization is working to advance women in politics and combat the sexist and misogynistic depiction of women in the mainstream media. We have always had great respect for the mission and accomplishments of Ms. and Ms. Magazine.

However, your most recent issue, with Barack Obama posed as a feminist Superman on your cover would be absurdly laughable  if it weren’t also so insulting and offensive to American women. Barack Obama is no feminist. He just appointed the anti-choice Tim Kaine head of the DNC. His embrace of misogynistic, homophobic religious leaders like Rick Warren, coupled with his absolutely empty list of accomplishments on issues of importance to women make most women voters very skeptical of his commitment to a progressive feminist agenda. An agenda that I believed was central to the mission of Ms. Magazine.

Perhaps you are trying to increase readership, and since Obama is the coolest marketing trend going, you figured you’d just paste him on your cover to increase sales, kind of like Brad and Angie get plopped on the covers of supermarket tabloids.

Too bad. I used to think more highly of Ms. Magazine and the feminist principles of its editors. I urge you to consider allowing room in your next issue for a rebuttal from women who know what “REAL” feminists look like.

Sincerely,

Your Name

Puma PAC Member (http://pumapac.org)

Prowl done! Morning Pumas. Just saw this at the Femisex site:http://www.femisex.com/content/two-items-today-jeers-ann-hathaway-and-also-times-editors-denigrating-black-female-teenagers
I going to get contact info and add Hathaway to my “traitors” list. She should get a prowl about the reasons BO is NOT a “great” man.
Here’s the text of the article. Send Femixex some Puma love.
Two items today: Jeers to Ann Hathaway and also the Times editors for denigrating black female teenagers.
Friday, January 9, 2009 at 2:00 pm — admin

First up a Jeer Quote by Ann Hathaway. Last night on David Letterman, Hathaway gushed this:
“It is so exciting to say we have a great man in office.”

She then gushed that the best job she could imagine would be to babysit for the Mr. Obama.
Hathaway has a movie opening up today that from all the trailers I’ve seen shows women at their very worst—in exactly the way that keeps us from working together in real life—in mortal combat against one another. The Boys Club is safe. Women are still competitive rancids to one another. Jeers to you Missy Hathaway!

Second Item: a story in the Times that headlines as: “Murders by Black Teenagers Rise this Decade, Bucking a Tend.

Now we at FemiSex wonder why black female teens got lumped into this? The story says that 539 white teens committed murder in 2000, and that by 2007, 547 white teens committed murder—a small increase.
For blacks teens: in 2000, 851 black teens committed murder, whereas in 2007 1,142 did so.

The story reads as though female and male teens were equally to blame. But….the graphic on the right makes it clear we are taking about “perpetrators, males.”

So the headline maligns black teenage girls as a murderous lot. (The story gives white teen girls the same treatment—to a lesser extent b/c of the headline.) This must stop! Women are not killing in great numbers and we HAVE to talk about the fact that males do the killing. NO more giving women the bad rap to shield men from facing the facts.

from Kat, the silliest Puma of the day:

from TPM:

“Gossip blog tops voting for best liberal blog award”

“While Glen Greenwald, Digby and other liberal blogs condemn torture and analyze other important current issues on a daily basis, the self-described “DC gossip” blog Wonkette currently holds the lead with almost twice as many votes as TPM and way ahead of the others in the “best liberal blog” category of the 2008 Weblog awards.

That’s bothering me. I urge you vote for anyone but Wonkette.”

Ex-DemInVA 01.10.09 at 2:01 pm

PROWL done. I voted.

This is really absurd. Obama a feminist? What a joke? These people better get their blinders off, because they are in for a great fall. I really think they are projecting what they want him to be and are not looking at the “real” picture. When that “real” picture starts to show its ugly head, it is not going to be a pretty picture. No pun intended.

11

Ex-DemInVA 01.10.09 at 2:08 pm

BTW, something is not sitting right with me. I have this intuition that is gnawing at me and is trying to tell me something. I am really concerned about the way our country is headed in these next six or so months. I think Obama is a front man – for what, I don’t know yet. I remembered that many of the world’s dictators PRAISED an Obama presidency. That should heed a warning. Why is Biden secretly oversees meeting with leaders of other countries? Why is Emanuel in Africa? Why did Biden warn that something is going to happen in the first six months of this new Administration and that Americans were NOT going to like how they handle it? Why before the election were McCain’s people and Obama’s people briefed about some attack? Why do I keep hearing faint hints of an upcoming draft? There are many more questions floating in my head.

Yes, something is bothering me and I don’t like this feeling.

12

airforcehusker 01.10.09 at 2:15 pm

Ex-dem,

You are like many others that i know. We all feel something is up in the air but dont know what it is. This election is different from any other election that i can remember. I think the big thing is how secretive the whole oboma machine is/was. Know one really knows anything about this clown and all of a sudden we will find out. It is very disturbing. I am also wondering how soon after oboma takes office we will be hearing from the news media that the economy is fine and all is well. This whole is being manipulated on a grand scale and i think that america has zero and i repeat zero idea what the hell is going all.

13

kat in your hat 01.10.09 at 2:19 pm

I *do* feel silly. lol. It’s also because it’s a snow day, I think…gonna get a foot here by tonight. We shall see.

Yesterday, Congress voted on a resolution affirming Israel’s right to self-defense. It was a resolution

Recognizing Israel’s right to defend itself against attacks from Gaza, reaffirming the United States’ strong support for Israel, and supporting the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

It overwhelmingly passed the House of Representatives, but look at all of the Democrats that voted against it…oh, and a certain definitely-not-crazy Republican, too…

Ditto! Believe it or not, but Rush has been saying this very thing for months now. He said they are putting the fear of god in us so that they can manipulate their agenda and get what they want passed. He fears that it will be a Carter presidency but 10 times worse with the economy.

Ot, but have you all seen the official obama inauguration poster?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/01/07/official-inauguration-pos_n_156045.html yes, very “red” revolution and ridiculous.

ANYWAY, it’s from a street artist called Shepard Fairey.

And his sort of art is found at this website called “Obey”–which is actually an interesting site and I have gone there before, but I think it’s sort of coincidental that they tout themselves as “propaganda engineers”…why would a “president” want to be associated with that?

Vote “Present” What does that mean. Why does congress get to do things we american citizens dont get to do. Anybody with contact info for Anne Hathaway (maybe fan club, publicist, etc.)The David Letterman Show and Bill Maar? I’m adding to the list.

The all time best image was bqueen’s Sistine chapel thing with Favreau. I bet his little friends had a good time with that one.

53

Alice Rodham Puma 01.10.09 at 6:20 pm

If you look underneath the box where you post it shows how to do it.

It says:

You can use these HTML tags and attributes: <a href="" title=""

54

Alice Rodham Puma 01.10.09 at 6:23 pm

put the url (web address) eg http://pumapac.org between the first quotation marks and what you want it to be called between the second quotation marks.

like this

<a href="http://pumapac.org" title="PUMAPAC"

55

Alice Rodham Puma 01.10.09 at 6:26 pm

Sorry I didn’t exactly make that easy to understand but sometimes you have to try it for yourself to get the hang of it. There is more than one way to do it and different types of blog allow different codes. One of them should work on here because I have done it.

59

Alice Rodham Puma 01.10.09 at 6:33 pm

hi Taggles.

I was trying to explain how to do the code and made it even more complicated  Sorry.

I can’t believe they could be so stupid, Soros money may have had something to do with it, but tell you what in the end I think the correct reponse for this MSogyny Magazine is probably ridicule of them. I know I eventually had to laugh, it is just ridiculous that they could try and pull that one off.

64

Alice Rodham Puma 01.10.09 at 6:44 pm

I think I might work on an FAQ for PUMA PAC actually how to do smileys and quotations and stuff. Only problem is with blogs there is no preview post so if you make a mistake you are stuck with it.

What other questions would need to go in there?

from above link:

The Federal Election Commission recently sought advice from outsiders about how the agency could better enforce campaign finance laws. But what it got was completely unexpected — some 200 letters questioning President-elect Obama’s citizenship and demanding an immediate audit of his campaign finances.

Many of the letters came from members of the People United Means Action political action committee. The PUMA PAC, as it’s known, recently published an article raising questions about Obama’s donors, which included a form letter calling for an audit that people were encouraged to forward to the FEC.

The commission has scheduled a public hearing for January 14 on how it can improve its compliance and enforcement processes.

@ #77 and #81

bqueen, I know. It’s really soon.

I posted that article here at around 1PM, but only up at the private forum, but look, the “anti-pumas” (who apparently spend all their waking hours reading everything that is posted here) decided to make comments on the CQ thread:

Congressional Quarterly

(I made one comment there myself, with a link to Feck Team Forum)

It is an obsession for these sad lonely freaks, Kat.They are stalker blogs, nothing more.

89

taggles1 01.10.09 at 7:30 pm

That article describing the “tinged racist” complaints notes someone asking a couple of questions.

Real stretch as usual.

Back to, question Obama, you are a racist meme.

Tomorrow will be old dried up complaining vaginas again.

90

kat in your hat 01.10.09 at 7:30 pm

Alice Rodham Puma:

It’s true, I think it is a genuine addiction for them–to stalk and lurk. And “keep a diary” about us. Creepy. I don’t know if it’s because they can’t cope with women caring about women’s rights or if it’s because they can’t cope with people not being as brainwashed about Obama as they are. I know they are probably even reading this *right now*…like Single White Female/ Peeping Toms…these are the people who get dumped by somebody and they keep driving by their house a hundred times and non-stop calling them…it’s like a personality disorder.

91

kat in your hat 01.10.09 at 7:43 pm

@ #91
I never even paid attention to them. I knew they were around back in the summer. Then I just forgot about them, and now I have been hearing about them still calling into shows and posting comments about us, and dedicating whole blogs to us. So, that’s a *lot* of months to spy on and focus on average people they don’t even know. That’s beyond weird. Can you imagine?? Everyday, spending hours and hours reading the conversations of people you don’t even *like*?? wtf. I don’t get it. Too dang creepy.

92

Alice Rodham Puma 01.10.09 at 7:49 pm

Incredible isn’t it Taggles? I thought the standard of CQ writers would be higher than that. Ok, they reported it, but this just leaves me scratching my head…

Some comments were tinged with racism. “What the heck is going on here?” wrote one woman from Obama’s home state of Illinois. She accused the president-elect of not disclosing enough information about his family, employment, health and education backgrounds.

???

I would insert a snarky witty comment here but its just too laughable in itself that the author thinks that quote somehow doesn’t backfire in their face the big stinky wordfart it is.

93

kat in your hat 01.10.09 at 7:52 pm

There is big buzz on Palin’s recent interview, calling out anonymous bloggers/ media:

from sugar n spice:
“Palin to Appear in How Obama Got Elected Doc”
http://sugarnspice.typepad.com/sugar_n_spicea_meeting_pl/2009/01/palin-to-appear-in-how-obama-got-elected-doc.html

94

kat in your hat 01.10.09 at 7:55 pm

Don’t you KNOW:

The question: “What the heck is going on here?” is racist.

lol. oh whatever.

And yet, these same people complain when we say something like “Iron My Shirt” is sexist, which is *actually* sexist.

Damn, it STILL hasn’t stopped raining. Does anyone know where Noah parked the Boat? I think it’s easier to ask, “Where isn’t it flooding in Washington State?” So far I’ve remained unscathed( except for car breaking down), but SOO many people are hurting. And this is such a bad time of the year to be forced out of one’s home.I’m just exhausted. And Barack Obama couldn’t give a shit less. anymore that I care about what T-shirt he wears. He can call me racist or anything else he wants to. Far as I’m concerned, all he’s ever done or will do amounts to nothing and he’s just a phony a**hole. I know ‘righteous’ when I see it. I think you have a point and the obots dont want to hear about it. I think she makes a good point about how obot comes out and say his family is off limits you heard nothing about them…well could the same be said to palins family. Now the interview is out and the obot are angry as hell about it. It must have ruffled some feathers. Here is a discussion i am having on another board with an obot…..His opinion about palin.

She blamed everyone for her downfall but herself. Typical Republican. My favorite part is when she told the campaign that she shouldn’t do another interview. What a chicken **** . What, she afraid everyone would fine out how stupid she is. Guess what Sarah we already knew. Your not serious. You have blasted Obama more than anyone on this board.

This quote sound familiar.

“No Todd i am just quoting dumbass barrack messiah, barry jimmy oboma soetoro supporters from this election. It is going to be very funny watching your obomaexpress roller coaster fly off the tracks and yes i will be smiling in the end”.

Trust me she will never be our president. The woman knows nothing about what this country is going through. She is to busy talking about guns and Alaska. She knows absolutely nothing about foreign policy except that Putin flies over her house ( and yes those were her words) she thinks we can just drill are way out of everything. She is also a supporter of this stupid war that has cost this country billions. She was a John McCain puppet only used to get the horny and stupid vote. Guess what it didn’t work. See that’s how you think. You could careless about job creation or fixing the economy or getting off foreign oil. You just want someone who will let you have your AK-47.
That’s where you are wrong. we WANT her to run again, it’s great comedy. I also hope she wins the nomination, just means Obama will win by 400+ electoral votes.Hell ya. Run Sarah run. Obama wouldn’t even have to campaign.the economy is suffering, people are killing each other in Israel and africa, we still have a war on 2 fronts in Iraq and Afghanistan, mccain trusted her enough to be a vice presidential candidate and heartbeat away from being president, and she is worried about her fellings being hurt…..

what a piece of feces she has turned out to be….

All of this from two obots on a sports message board of all places. Obots just go off when they see anything about palin.

At least we aren’t getting the snow, like you are. We had it for 2 straight weeks and it piled really deep in the mountains. Then the warm, ‘pineapple express’ rolls in with non-stop warm rains melting all the snow.
Check out the seattle Times Picture spread.

ya khow? Today, I was thinking about it all and a question came to me: “Why the hell is George Bush getting away with it?”
If we had not gone to war in Iraq, our economy might have expanded. Instead, he bankrupted out country with hudreds of billions of dollars. He collapsed out economy, NOT the Housing Market!!!Had it not been for the cost of the war, the government wouldn’t HAVE to take $700 billion from us against our will. They wouldn’t be getting the 3-4 triliion they want, because we would be solvent. Because of Bush’s War, everyone was manipulated, distracted, away from keeping our system of checks and balances on our economy and financial systems. And we are worrying about how that other guy, Maddow(?) awindled the rich?
While we are about BO, good or bad, Bush and Cheney are getting ready to walk away from the scene of the Perfect Crime. They broke our government, took 700 billion that doesn’t really even exist, except on the ‘accounts payable’ side of every American’s balance sheet. Do the math.
And people everywhere are waiting to see BO work his magic.
If Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld are not held accountable and allowed to walk, the why would anyone lift a finger at the corruption of the Obama Gang? Protest all we want; ‘they’ still own the military and the law.Who do we proest to? The Gods? The winds? The dog barking down the street? Very shortly people across America are going to be wearing the look on their faces of the fox, who has just realized the trap has just sprung on his leg.

According to the link Kat just posted, this Lily Ledbetter bill will possibly pass through the Senate next week. If it goes through, will it be O who has to sign off on it? Or another way of putting it, is how long will it be before it becomes law, if it does go through?

126

Alice,
there will be a certain date that this goes into effect. I do not know who signs off on it. Of course the bill must be exactly the same version that passes both chambers. So, if it’s not the same bill, then it will go into a bipartisan committee between both the house and senate until they get what they want. Then it will go back to a floor vote.

So, I really don’t know what to tell you.

136

Nijma 01.10.09 at 9:17 pm

Alice Rodham Puma, and others with questions about the fair paycheck bill:

The bill passed the House of Representatives only. It must also pass the senate. Any differences between the two bills must then be resolved in a joint house/senate committee, and the bill then re-passed by both houses. Then the president either signs the bill and it becomes law, or doesn’t sign the bill and it becomes law, or vetoes the law and then they have to pass it all over again but this time with a 2/3 majority.

The senate will not meet in full session until after the inauguration, so Teh Messiah will be the One to deal with it. If it passes.

From here the bill has to be assigned to a senate committee which will hold hearings on the bill. If the committee thinks the bill should be voted on, they will vote it out of committee and only then can it be considered by the full senate.

Please go to

http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2009/jan/10/party-calls-off-obama-gathering/

and leave a comment regarding this article. it is insulting.

The Knox County Democratic Party cited the economy as the reason for cancelling a local inaugural ball the night that President-elect Barack Obama takes over in Washington, D.C. But other issues are at play within the organization.

After all, Blount County Democrats are having a ball the same night at the Airport Hilton Hotel, and it’s a sellout, said Marte Lawrence, that party’s vice chair.

Sylvia Woods, Knox Democratic Party chair, said ticket sales at $50 apiece were slow for the Knoxville event although she was confident enough would have been sold by Jan. 20 to have it at Rothchild’s.

“Everyone waits until the last two weeks,” she said.

However, activists associated with the Obama campaign over the past year have been meeting separately from the official Knox County party organization and planning a “Yes We Did Inaugural Celebration” at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Square Room at 4 Market Square. The group also will participate in the Martin Luther King Jr. parade on Jan. 19.

Gloria Johnson, Obama coordinator during the campaign, is keeping supporters together through a http://www.meetup.com connection online. Woods, who said she had attended some of the meetings, said Obama wanted supporters to do a community service project around the inauguration.

“It’s a very diverse group – Democrats, people who don’t want to be connected with a (political) party, also Republicans,” Woods said.

She’s been impressed with the volunteers, she said. And therein may be one of the party’s problems.

Alan Pulsipher, an Obama activist, said he has not found the Democratic Party friendly to newcomers. He said he is not complaining about Woods.

He lives in the inner city and knows Councilman Bob Becker and County Commissioners Mark Harmon and Amy Broyles, he said. He described Broyles’ campaign last year as well-organized and very community-based.

“I have gone to Democratic functions in the past and felt superfluous or not welcome,” he said. “It felt so stifling.”

But an Obama event is different, he said.

“The most important thing that they do is they get you in a group, get you to tell a story about why you’re there, to think about why you’re there and to vocalize it. That process is so important,” Pulsipher said.

Pulsipher, a Ph.D candidate at Clark University in Massachusetts, is the co-author of a geography textbook with his mother, Lydia Pulsipher, who teaches at the University of Tennessee. Lydia Pulsipher will be in charge of the Jan. 20 event on Market Square in the absence of Johnson, who will attend inauguration activities in Washington.

Tickets for the event at Market Square are $15 plus canned food for Second Harvest Food Bank and/or cash donations to be shared with Project Help, a heating program administered by KUB.

At both this event and at the one in Blount County, there will be large TV screens to watch activities in Washington, organizers said.

The Blount County event, at $35 apiece, is from 7-11 p.m. Lawrence said people from other counties were among the 400 who had bought tickets.

Georgiana Vines is retired News Sentinel associate editor. She may be reached at 865-577-6612 or gvpolitics@hotmail.com.

kat,

You hit the nail on the head also. One word sums up obots and and that is “hate” These people hated bush, they hated this country and they hated women. i noticed that in discussion the most and that is how much they despise powerful women. They must be the most sexist of all people. Look i am all for opposition if you dont believe in a policy. I dont care if your repub or dem but the obots hate. I dont recall it being like this for alot of supporters in the past. Yes some repubs where hard on clinton and some dems where are on bush 1 & 2 but the vile obots are hateful. There is times where i feel sorry for them but realize they will have ruined this country. I would also say that i think they dont care one bit about our good old red white and blue.

147

murphy 01.10.09 at 9:25 pm

nijma — thanks for the background and the links. good stuff.

i think this partially answers Kat’s question about the lack of coverage in the MSM. there’s still a WAYS to go for this bill to be law. So they dont usually make a big deal until it is a done deal.

well that, and they’re sexist a-holes who dont report on women’s “news” other than in the Style/Living sections. and fair pay just isnt FUN enough for those sections.

why would they cover that when they can just publish another installation of the mommy wars or how mothers fail or why you’re fat or some crap like that.

Obama Calls for ‘Grand Bargain’ on Economy: ‘Everybody’s Going to Have to Give’
January 10, 2009 2:25 PM

In my exclusive interview with Barack Obama airing tomorrow on This Week, the president-elect told me that fixing our economy over the long term will require sacrifice from every American and scaling back some of his campaign promises.

“Our challenge is going to be identifying what works and putting more money into that, eliminating things that don’t work, and making things that we have more efficient. But I’m not suggesting, George, I want to be realistic here, not everything that we talked about during the campaign are we going to be able to do on the pace we had hoped,” Obama told me in his first interview since arriving back in Washington, DC as president-elect.

I asked the president-elect, “At the end of the day, are you really talking about over the course of your presidency some kind of grand bargain? That you have tax reform, healthcare reform, entitlement reform including Social Security and Medicare, where everybody in the country is going to have to sacrifice something, accept change for the greater good?”

“Yes,” Obama said.

“And when will that get done?” I asked.

“Well, right now, I’m focused on a pretty heavy lift, which is making sure we get that reinvestment and recovery package in place. But what you described is exactly what we’re going to have to do. What we have to do is to take a look at our structural deficit, how are we paying for government? What are we getting for it? And how do we make the system more efficient?”

“And eventually sacrifice from everyone?” I asked.

“Everybody’s going to have to give. Everybody’s going to have to have some skin in the game,” Obama said.

i wonder how much skin oboma and his family have given in their lifetime. So now he is saying that my family will have to give more, how about the government cut some spending. Why are we the people always being asked to sacrifice more and more but our government continue to get fat liek alarge hog. When is this crap going to ever end…..

I wish people would wake up (not that I have all the answers). But Obama HAS the power. He is going to be inaugurated. He is above the law, as the seems to be a perk of every POTUS. And he ALREADY HAs his own army. He has his propaganda machine, his camps and block parties and to many, he represents a retribution. Those who see it like thatr will do anything for him. Obama is like a horse that beaks out so far in front he wins by lengths, No ther party or candidate has such a support structure. Not even Hillary. Now THAT is what is scary!!! How much Oprah weighs or what size she is is about the LAST fvkin thing we need to worry about.

How did I miss this yesterday!?!
NoQ:

“What’s An Obot?”
YOU MIGHT BE AN OBOT IF…

You feel tingles running up or down your legs when That One is orating. (OK, I’m just getting warmed up, and I had to get that one out of my system.

You’ve never paid any attention to politics until Obama ran for President, and now you’ve become a political expert by reading Huffington Post and/or Daily Kos.

You get called a Cheetoh a lot but you don’t know why.

You believe there are only about 200 PUMAs in the country.

You weep with joy while repeating the mantra “YES WE CAN!”

You think Hillary Clinton tried to “steal” the Democratic nomination.

You fly into a rage when anyone suggests Obama is unqualified for the presidency.

You’ve used the word “racist” more than any other word in the last year.

You’ve developed a keen interest in Hawaiian body surfing.

More here:

lol @ 624 comments…looks like the “obots” didn’t like the post. ha.

I saw a couple floors down that someone made the comment that “only republicans can vote republican in the primaries” or something like that. I would like to mention that this is probably going to vary widely state by state. For Example, here in Wisconsin… I am not officially registered ANYTHING. Not republican, not independent, not democrat. In the primaries I can vote republican, democrat, liberaterian, or whatever I want. HOWEVER, in Wisconins primaries it’s “all or none” – in other words, whatever party you vote in for one post, it has to be that same party for everything. That ISN’T that way for the G.E. but it is for the primary. So if you vote dem for POTUS, you will have vote dem all down-ticket too IF it is in the Primary. However, party membership has nothing to do with what party you vote for…. either in the primary OR the G.E. here in Wisconsin. Just wanted to point that out.

Regarding the article on PumPAC and the FEC investigations: http://www.cqpolitics.com/wmspage.cfm?docID=news-000003004942#

I think its great that PumaPAC is mentioned there, because normally the other Puma sites take credit but this time its clear, and Murphy and the PAC deserve credit for lining up all the teams and actions that go on in the PAC. No other Puma group joined it, this time it was just the PAC. And look what was accomplished! What a great example for the teams starting up now. Hard work, frustrations, covering all angles and then getting it out there.

Well done Lu for organizing and staying on this!

Clintondemocrat #138,

I posted a comment over at Knox site. We need a twelve step program for Obots who want to give up their cult of the leader and come back to human society.

164

PUMAbear 01.10.09 at 10:29 pm

Oh. Clintondemocrat, I thought their meetup.com program was good. They have a lot of face to face social events. Why can’t we steal the idea for pumapac?. They probably stole it themselves. LOL.

I posted a comment over at Congressional Quarterly http://www.cqpolitics.com/wmspage.cfm?docID=news-000003004942

I don’t know what the FEC happened to it! Maybe it’s just lying outside their door, awaiting moderation or something.

Obama should jumpstart his economic program with his family and the inauguration activities. How did he foot the bill for a $9 million dollar mansion vacation in Hawaii? I read that Hollywood celebrities and Wall Street investors are bankrolling his inauguration. Heck, BO should set the example and scale back the coronation! Is this true that MO’s mother will be living in the White House as a permanent member? Why don’t we charge her?

Economic Facts – The national debt is over $10 trillion = $35,000 per person- the higher it goes the more interest we will pay….we are borrowing from China

Obama’s investment and recovery plan is a Ponzi scheme – He wants to give our taxpayer dollars to business that fail. His plan will not reward the companies that are doing well.

In addition, he is giving tax rebates to people that do not pay income taxes – it is a welfare plan…a redistribution of wealth

What he should do is cut corporate taxes, eliminate capital gains for several years, cut government spending starting with his administration, and close the trade deficit.

“Jenny” keeps that aas her desktop background. Always pulls it out. Never mentions the fact that although the filing was late, it was submitted.
Poor Jenny is anal about punctuality… obama multimillion dollar fraud?… not so much.
