Why does Jon Favreau still have a job?

You see this is the thing about being president — it’s kind of a big job. The Jon Favreau incident doesn’t just go away while you frantically try to coordinate all your lies about Blagojevich with all your lying associates and advisors. Neither does the collapsing economy. Still collapsing! Neither does international terrorism and unrest. Still raging! Neither does the daily work of governing. Still tedious!
Maybe obama wasn’t quite ready for all this? Perhaps he’s in over his head? Ya think?
Every day that Jon Favreau continues to have a job as obama’s chief speech writer is ANOTHER day that the office of the Secretary of State is undermined. Every day that the above image is in the news is another day that creeps like Carville and Blitzer can convene all-male panels of sexperts and joke about how fun it is to gang up and sexually assault Hillary Clinton in effigy. (Wolf Blitzer, Alpha Epsilon Pi brother, along with Robert Novak and Jerry Nadler.Carville was a raging frat boy at LSU, where the motto is, “frat hard, frat often.”)
We need to amp up our message. Columnists ARE talking about this issue, but they are saying that women’s groups have been strangely silent. We know that National NOW and Emily’s List are keeping a deafening silence, but the good women at New York and Los Angeles NOW have spoken up. But still, the message is not being received.
We’re joining efforts with Heidi Li to make our voices heard. Heidi and the Denver Group were enormously effective at undermining confidence in obama during the summer and fall, and she’s right — the mainstream media won’t listen to us unless we speak their language. Just a minute to bop in for a quick post. I think that Gov. Rod Blagojevich is acting in a manner not just indicative of arrogance (like Spitz), but also, what is different about him, he is acting like a person who is still wielding power.
And he’s right. He’s still wielding POWER because he has dirty secrets on all the politicians, including the (s)elected one, Oblahblah. Don’t you think the reason he went to work today is to make sure all those people will continue to squirm in their seats?
I don’t think he’s going to resign in a big hurry, does anyone else think so?
Probably he will continue to wheel & deal all the way to his jail cell.

No one in this life is invincible. Obama had/has a tremendous amount of people supporting him now, but once he begins to fail which, in this economic climate, is already happening and a certainty, they will turn on him in an equal amount. He will step on the wrong toes and someone will take him down, just like they did Nixon.
Most of us realize the ‘economy’ hasn’t hit bottom yet and may not for some time. Even so, it will be a long time before it turns around and we begin to return to standards we have come to know. And a HUGE number of his supporters were the poor and downtrodden he campaigned for with “Change We Can Believe In’ slogan.
He’s nothing more than a patsy, a scapegoat and the Republicans have done a magnificent job of covering over Bush, with Obama, and practically guarantteeing a return to Republican admin in 2012.

Who will fill Obama’s senate seat?
CHICAGO, ILL. — Now that Barack Obama will be moving to the White House, his seat in the U.S. Senate representing Illinois will have to be filled.
That’s one of Obama’s first priorities today.
He’s meeting with Governor Rod Blagojevich this afternoon in Chicago to discuss it.
Illinois law states that the governor chooses that replacement.
There’s already been speculation about his selection…from Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. of Chicago’s south side who co-chaired Obama’s presidential campaign, to recently-retired state senate president Emil Jones, to the governor himself.
It’s likely the governor will make his decision quickly so the new senator will get some seniority before newly-elected senators take office in January.
Part of the timing depends on when Obama officially vacates his senate seat.
KHQA’s Alexis Hunt is speaking with Illinois Senator John Sullivan today about his thoughts on that replacement process, his time working with Obama in the state senate, and if there’s a chance Sullivan might play a role in the Obama administration. Watch KHQA News at 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. tonight to hear what he has to say.

Keep the faith cjv, this isn’t the spin of the msm playing this game, it’s the Feds, and Fitzgerald is a strong Hillary supporter……from what I hear. He was investigating the caucus fraud during the primary………so he knows the dirt and lets hope he can get enough ‘proof’ to make the thugs sing against the Pretender.
The real problem will be if Fritzgerald doesn’t have enough solid proof before Jan 20th and then obie tosses him out of his job as a new President.

So I called the transition phone number – and told them I thought it was a disgrace that a former first lady of the United States was treated in such a manner by a member of Obama’s team. Despite how they feel about Senator Clinton as an opponent she was STILL the first lady of the US – I asked how would they like it if we had a picture of future first lady Michelle Obama in the same pose – the answer – are you ready —–OH WELL!

DWP, have you forgotten what they did to Sarah Palin? No, I don’t think this is relagated to republican or democrat- this is male vs female regardless of party. It’s also part of the male “dominating” and celebration of “victory” that we see so often. When they afraid of a female, they attack. When they feel they have defeated a female opponent, they lay it on again. They seem to think that it shows they are “better” if they can “dominate” like that, even though in their “dominating” they show they are pea-brained doofusses. What is particularly disturbing to me is how few powerful women seem to be standing up against this sort of thing. Do we hear from Pelosi about it? What about Donna Brassierre (LOL)? What about Laura Bush? What about Sarah Palin? What about Hillary herself??? What about the NOW? Reminds me a bit of the old song “where have all the flowers gone”.. remember that one? I spent the morning Christmas shopping on line. I waited too long to get that started. Now, I come to PumaPac and find that you have done a tremendous job of fund raising for a cause we all believe in. It reminds me of the days when we so astoundingly successful in raising for another cause that we so strongly believed in. Congratulations.

That’s a good point. The only thing that may work in bringing Obama and his machine down is that Blavo seems to crave Power and likes to be in control. Even if he is pardoned, he will lose power and probably won’t get a leadership type position again. He will not like that he was brought down and the others involved stay on top, IMHO.

I heard on Rush’s show today that some in the media are saying that the Gov. is a sociopath and mentally unstable. Rush had a good point on this. He said if that is so, then why was Obama and Rahm Emanuel sooo involved in getting the Gov. elected and re-elected for over six years? The media is trying its darndest to cover up for Obama. Before they point fingers at the Gov. of being a sociopath, they need to take a close look at some of these Chicago politicians.
I do have some good news though. The blinders are coming off of some of Obama’s followers. My brother-in-law reported that two of his co-workers who voted for Obama in hope of “Change” are disgusted with him because they are certain that he is involved in this Chicago scandal. This is starting to wake some people up at least.

Male Strippers
Last night, my Red Hat friends and I went to a Ladies Night Club.
One of the girls wanted to impress the rest of us, so she pulled out a $10 bill. When the male dancer came over to us, my friend licked the $10 bill and stuck it to his butt cheek!
Notto be outdone, another friend pulls out a $20 bill.She called the guyback, licks the $20 bill, and sticks it to his other butt cheek.
In another attempt to impress the rest of us, my third friend pulls out a $50 bill and calls the guy over, and licks the $50 bill. I’m worried about the way things are going, but fortunately, she just stuck it to one of his butt cheeks again.
Seeing the way things are going, the guy races over to me! Now everyone’s attention is focused on me, and the guy is egging me on to try to top the $50. My brain was churning as I reached for my wallet.
What could I do?
The woman in me took over!
I got out my ATM card, swiped it down the crack of his butt, grabbed the eighty bucks,and left!!!
