My sister and her husband just came back from Europe traveling. They were suprized at the conversations people were having over there. Laughing at the USA for voting in Obama. All happy and hoping BO would get elected, not for ‘one world’ BUT so see our superpower days over. They couldnt believe how dumb we were. She said she heard it over and over this past 10days. She even had other Americans traveling telling her they were hearing the same things. Some being called ’stupid Americans’ and getting laughed at.
Just wait until they see this video, then they will really be laughing!

This video does not surprise me in the least. My sister and her husband came to visit me from the SF bay area last weekend. Big obots. I ask them some of the same questions and their answers were not much different. My sister has 2 degrees and my brother in law has a master in chemical engireering with a expertise in hazardous waste. In the end my sister looked at me and said “Mary, don’t you want hope.” I was floored!

In an episode that could potentially strain relations between Warsaw and Washington, Radek Sikorski, an Oxford-educated politician who has lived in the US, was reported to have made the jibe by an opposition politician, Ryszard Czarnecki.

Writing in his blog, Mr Czarnecki, an MEP, quoted the foreign minister as saying: “Have you heard that Obama may have a Polish connection? His grandfather ate a Polish missionary.”

“Mr Sikorski did not tell a racist joke,” said Piotr Paszkowski, the spokesman. “He was only giving an example of the unpalatable and racist ‘jokes’ that surround President Elect Obama.”

Donald Tusk, the Polish prime minister, has made no comment on the affair. It appears that Mr Sikorski’s position is not under threat despite calls from opposition politicians for an investigation to deter if the foreign minister broke anti-racism laws.

The derogatory comment about Mr Obama’s family may also have become common staple in Polish political circles. Wojciech Olejniczak, the leader of Poland’s main Left-wing party, the SLD, alleged that he first heard it from Jaroslaw Kaczynski, a Right-wing former prime minister and twin brother of the Polish president, Lech Kaczynski.

Hi Murphy, Thanks for asking. I think I’m really going to like the job! It’s a Sales Account Executive position with a small family owned dairy company. I love the people, the owners are a brother and sister team who are wonderful and so down to earth. Heck, I’m just so happy to be working again!! I took my daughter to see the new James Bond movie on Saturday to celebrate … I’ve been so broke so we hadn’t been to the movie theater in a while. Btw, a good movie if you like action and 007.

I won’t be online as much during the week due to my new schedule but I’ll still be able to do prowls and I’ll try to check in to say hello when I can.

The bad news is the Dems didn’t do it because it was the right thing to do. They did it because when they figured out the math of how many Dems were in the Senate — they realized that they might still need Lieberman to get that filibuster proof thing that they’re after. Even if they succeed in stealing the election on the recounts — they will still need Lieberman. So even though I’m glad that Lieberman still retains his status — I hope he’s pissed off enough to block their stunts when it comes time to vote on proposals.

Idk about anyone else but, these voters are typical of the obots I have talked to. One last weekend said if she had known about “O”s tax policies she wouldn’t have voter for him.
I keep reminding people that “O” said he was going to do these things and the response is always the same. “He did?”

My daughter is a more informed voter than these idiots and she’s only in 8th grade. I’m not kidding, my daughter is more informed than most adults that I personally know. Of course, she’s been listening to talk radio, and Fox News since she could walk.

Funny story:
The other day the 8th graders has a mock election at school and one of her friends comes from a big Green Party family so the girl wanted to vote for the GP candidate. But she only knew that it was a woman, she had no clue what her name was and didn’t really know anything about her. Of course my daughter knew and said “oh, the Green Party candidate is Cynthia McKinny.” She continued to tell the girl, “McKinny is the woman who threw her cell phone at a cop a few yrs ago. McKinny also thinks that 1000 inmates were killed in New Orleans and were buried in the swamp after Katrina.” The girl said, “wow, really?” My daughter said, “yep” and just continued on her way leaving the girl speechless.

I cracked up laughing.

Hmm, well yes, I think so … but I didn’t have time to watch it so I just read the reviews about Casino Royale and was able to follow along okay. It’s very fast action, not a lot of dialogue, I liked it but then again, I like just about any 007 movie.

Yeah, I think it’s so important to get them hooked in politics while they’re young. Even though I’m a conservative Repub, I still encourage my daughter to learn about both parties and I explain to her that each sides has it’s strengths and weaknesses.

In fact, she is becoming so interested in politics and debate that she wants to join a debate and speech club. I was so excited to hear that she’s interested in this but, unfortunately, her school doesn’t have one so I’m going to meet with the school admin. to talk to them about joining this debating league. http://www.ncfl.org/

Well, you know those funny videos of Obots not knowing anything about the people and positions of those they are voting for or against? We Centrists are equally appalled at the (mostly MSM-enforced) lack of knowledge of the elecorate, especially Democrats, of what has been going on in Iraq, and how spectacularly the military has been performing in both “kinetic” (fighting) and non-kinetic arenas, AND that they have an honest-to-God VICTORY there. The SOFA agreement is now cabinet-approved and will be passed by the Iraqi legislature shortly (a near certainty).

Did you know any of that? A few PUMAs commented some time ago that they’d always pooh-poohed the Rep complaints about MSM gatekeeping and editorialized news, until they got on the receiving end. As Hannity explains re: today’s video, these were the BEST of the available Obama supporters (chosen by a black female, btw) to interview. They simply reflect their sources of information (with, of course, a certain amount of the “Confirmation Effect” which biases one to notice information confirming existing opinions).
