Actually, this could work, and would be very much grassroots…as well as making use of “community organizer” tactics. The info would be scholarly–and CLEVER—and would attract interest by the media, because the each broadcast would be announced by PUMA press releases to all MSM before each airing. And it could be ‘re-produced’ simultaneously in other cities by other PUMAs.

Since MSM already has the infractructure in place, it’s seems it would be more feasible to get an hour on each station, to refute / correct/ counter balance the garbage they are feeding mainstream ‘murica.

I feel uneasy about Hillary working in Obama’s administration. The positives are that it is a huge promotion–high ranking position, she would have a lot more access to what is going on internally, and she would maybe be able to stop one of my fears, which is that Obama (in one way or another) will swap our allies for enemies. That’s a big deal to me.

But, can I trust Hillary? Hillary is beyond loyal to the dem party, and she did “what she had to do” to help bring Obama some of her voters, even after everything she knew and everything that happened. I think if Hillary wound up working as SecState, she might be a huge fallguy for ALL the foreign affairs/ foreign policy monster changes that will happen under O. That could be horrendous. It’s going to get nasty, so could it kill Hillary’s political future? Would I even care after working with him for four years? There’s no way I would trust her after working with him in his administration.

And then, in the Senate, she has the power to write legislation and vote. Hillary cares about lgbt rights, and women’s reproductive rights, and healthcare, and she cares about helping rural NY….it would SUCK to get some democrat in there who didn’t care about those things, but there’s always that chance.

Man, I dunno.

Seriously? They do have phone, fax and snail mail contact info on there. But I would be surprised if they did not allow email from anyone outside of NY. Has anyone else had this problem? Can we get a confirmed email address for Hillary?

I got that T.V. for your computer thing and you just pay a one time fee. Seems to work pretty well once you get the link established It’s $29.99 and an extra $9.99 for premium channels. Works like TIVO. Called DigitalTV for PC. Saves a lot of grief, no BO popping up everywhere. I have a laptop so I can watch anywhere there is a connection.

I would call and cancel too but I don’t have cable t.v. Most prople don’t ever tune in to CATV channels in their areas. Some of the programming is real snore material; some offer live and pre-recorded local shcools’ theater/band/sports activities; ethnic and cultural groups which includes some that have been produced in other languages than English; local government meetings, councils, proceedings, etc; religious-themed programs…it runs the gamut of everything that is out there. Some stations even broadcast programs from other countries, e.g., I can watch a Russian news broadcast from one catv channel in my area.

There is obviously a problem with misogyny back in the NY area and it infects the whole country and probably the whole planet as NY media can’t just be exported to Seattle it is probably sent out all over the world. How many times have I posted this. Washington state has two federal female Senators, a female Governor and most of our supreme court is female. i have one more thing before i start my day wonderful pumas: I haven’t purchased a New Yuck Times since early June. I use to cherish my NYTimes… savor it with a good cup of coffee. Now, if I want to read the arts or travel section, i read it online… or read a “community copy” and at Starbucks. NYTimes will probably never see another dime from me. And they were the reason I studied journalism. Go figure.

More importantly can she get behind the Obama’s scary foreign policy? Invade Afghanistan and Pakistan, and ignore Russia’s little adventures? And leave Iraq up for grabs—no, no, no, a presence in Iraq is in our national interest. No one from antiquity on down has ever held the middle east without holding Baghdad. Baghdad is the key to security for the region. We can’t depend on the Wahabi extremist Saudis for oil indefinitely. Then there’s the Palestinians and their statehood problem. Recognizing Palestine would go a long way toward defusing the Middle East. Then WE can prop up their government instead of those Saudi Wahabis.

Nah, my guess is that the USA will give less money to Israel, and we will enforce some sort of diplomacy (Israel to Palestine) demand in order to continue selling them our weapons. I know the US has tried for many years to help some sort of resolution between Israel and Palestine, but this will be different.

I anticipate either Israeli leaders kicking the bucket, or resigning…there will be leadership movement. (Possibly already has been over the last few years.) Maybe even a pro-Palestinian/ pro-Israel + Palestinian state unification sort of leader will step in.

Bottom line: I know Obama is pro-Palestine. Based on what Samantha Power, Zbignew, and tons of other Oblow helpers have stated, I know the crux of most decisions will be to empower Palestine and to shed our alliance with Israel via financial support and trade.

Yes, that’s the scary part of it. Might be quick. Plus, traditional Israelis are likely scared. When one is scared, you know the drill: fight or flight. Well, they have nowhere to go, so they might preemptively strike somewhere out of fear. They could already be looking in strange places for more support.

I’m also worried about Russia because Obama is showing signs of befriending those Russia is now seriously courting. Russia knows the USA is a better bedmate and might steal his lovers, so to speak. Russia doesn’t want the USA to destabilize their burgeoning alliances. Don’t want Russia to feel like we are moving in on the Middle East and South America, not when we already have much of Europe. That might scare Russia, and once again–they might lash out.

But, we will never know anything until it happens.

Yes I have gotten many responses from Hillary and her office
and never got any saying for NY residents only…..but they are not able because of volume to respond to all out of state letters.

I just sent this email to both her senate emails and it went through fine.
