Hillary would be a great SOS, perhaps even the best ever, BUT that would only happen if BO would get out of her way. He's got too much of an ego to allow that to happen. More likely, he's looking at a way to silence her and take her power away.

RE: The Wiley Clark lawsuit, this quote was very significant, I think: "In another unrelated action, though also aimed at forcing Obama to release proof or step down, 24 potential Electoral College electors are filing action Monday morning in court also demanding proof. A call is herein being issued to any elector in any state, especially democrat electors who would like to join that effort. Electors interested in adding their name to this lawsuit can contact Mr. Marquis who will put you in contact with the attorney handling that case."
If there's still a question of "standing", having electors involved should resolve that.

Marie---in 2012 I think the REPUBS will have some of the same candidates--- Romney, maybe Huckabee but there also will be some younger, new faces that might be able to hold thier own. The REPUBS will regroup after this loss and will be better prepared next time around. The deck might be stacked differetnly in 2012. There will not be a Bush to blame nor Roe vs Wade and hopefully the economy will be better. It will ride on how well these four years go and of course there will always be the Obots.

I expect Hillary and McCain are both smart enough to stay in the Senate instead of leaving it to take any job for BO.

In the Senate they can be rallying points for anti-BO and keep working for their own longterm legislation.

At best case, a job such as SOS or cabinet ends when the president leaves. Senate lasts forever, as long as your own state voters are happy with you.

Obama will be the incumbent in 2012 for the Democratic party so Hillary will not run and John Mc might consider himself out of the market. It is a job tht would fit both of them since they are known in other countries and neither will back down if needed.

#12Scarlet: Thank you so much for posting this comment re the Catholic Chuch's Campaign for Human Development Fund and fund raising: Over a number of years, this fund, to which Catholics for years have funded, has given almost 7,000,000 dollars to Acorn. Saw an article yesterday in which Arc.
Roger Morin, wrote a letter to say that the Church would no longer contribute to Acorn. I do not believe this, as you may all know by now, there are all kinds of incorporations re Acorn around the country..and clearly no one at the Campaingn for Human Development or funding sources has paid one damn bit of attention. Here in No many churches are being closed, against the wishes of parishoners...under the guise of Katrina related money issues. : THIS IS A LIE.

I urge all Catholics to BOYCOTT ANY GIVING TO CAMPAIGN FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT OR TO CONTRIBUTE IN ANY WAY. Once again, our money, while our churches and schools which we built, at least here, NOT THE ARCHDIOCESE ARE BEING CLOSED WITH NO RECOURSE...WHILE THE ADMINISTRATIVE END OF DIOCESE'S BOTH LAY MEMBERS AND PRIESTS, NUNS AND BISHOPS, ACT AS IF THEY ARE ALL INDEPENDANTLY WEATHLY INHERITORS OF OUR MONEY...
WORKING CLASS PEOPLE BUILT AND SCRAPPED TO DO THIS...

BOYCOTT ANY COLLECTION FOR CAMPAIGN FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT FUNDS WHEN THE COLLECTION COMES...DO IT...MAKE THESE PEOPE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE USE OF MONEY DONATED TO THEM ...
We can not even get an accounting of money spent on Diocesan activities and Churches are taxed to the point of having to create slush funds to keep parishes going.

MURPHY: And for the record, while the former Archbishop of Boston who so outrageously "handled" the sexual abuse issues in Boston was swept away to Rome for a postion...
WE here in the City of New Orleans got his right hand gnome: Huges as our Bishop...

NO MONEY TO THE CAMPAIGN...NONE..LET THIS GROUP DO WHAT OUR PARENTS DID..WORK FOR THE MONEY...HOLD FAIRS, HAVE FUNDRAISERS..TO HELL WITH THIS....
