It tells me you’re a pig.
“So, I think, while I would prefer to believe otherwise, I guess my experience with my two and a half year old twin daughters who were not given dolls and who were given trucks, and found themselves saying to each other, look, daddy truck is carrying the baby truck, tells me something.” — Larry Summers, in the address he gave at Harvard on the lack of women in the highest ranks of science and engineering. Summers was later forced to resign as president of Harvard in the resulting firestorm.
He is now at the top of a very short list to become obama’s Treasury Secretary.
The reason women don’t advance in competitive professional environments is because they’re just not willing to squelch their gooey desire to spend ALL THEIR TIME WITH THEIR CHILDREN.
Which explains why Sarah Palin is a freak. And why Hillary Clinton is a cold bitch.
Did you know that the intellectual inferiority of black people was considered scientifically beyond reproach until well into the 20th Century? Would obama appoint someone to his cabinet who claimed eugenics has a basis in scientific fact?

WELL THEY’RE NOT HERE!! You are right – where are they? I wrote to all the main GOP and told them I felt their support of their party was lousy and anyone of them could have stepped up to the plate with our great Dem leaders – men and women – that supported Gov Palin!! I agree – they’re leaderless!

All of those who want a new party to form, the one person I know of that is toying with the idea seriously is Lynn Forester de Rothschild. She has asked for input to future ventures. I have written to her a few times. She has answered once, and in a very positive way, though not completely committal.
she can be reached at lyn@together4us.com
Write to her and lay out the need for a new party, and for goodness sake, OFFER YOUR ASSISTANCE TO SET ONE UP, AND MEAN IT!

Yes, Sarah is one of ‘us’ in the sense that she does what is right, not what the pundits and the hierarchy pushes her to do. She probably could never lie well. That makes her unique in our political culture.
I like her. This morning I sent her a nice thank you card. I wrote a note of admiration and thanks for her willingness to take us on as a nation and offer her service.
I am planning to do a pastel portrait or her and send it to her on completion. My art is always signed with Heneri and the date in the bottom right hand corner. Only deserving people or someone who bought it at a funraiser for a worthy organization that I support have a Heneri.

Kat in your hat:
Life socializes home schooled kids. School systems teach them to be followers instead of leaders. The nearest model of a social system that mimics a school is a prison. (some Ivy league school study determined that)
Anyway, you incorporate schooling into daily living. You use all kinds of outside trips, activities, and day to day life to have the child learn to communicate and participate. There are organized activities from time to time with others, but they are not necessary. We went ot Operas, Plays, philharmonic events, knew violin teachers, piano teachers, voice teachers, I coached a co-op debate team. My hubby took the girls on motorcycle trips. I took them to dog shows where we showed our champion Boxers.
The older daughter did many things with and for her grandmother when she learned to drive. My younger daugher was a close companion of my mother in law when she did church volunteer work.
My girls can go anywhere and do anything without being shy. My youngest can play 11 musical instruments, and she sings. She has appeared in local musical productions, and has performed with a local jazz band. She sings and plays the piano in a wonderful individual performance when called upon to volunteer at local nursing homes.
Does that answer your questions about socialization?

This is a REPOST – again (I seem to be missing the boat!!)
#141 Heneri -
If THAT ONE was born in Kenya, I would find it very hard for him to have been ’smuggled’ out – one cannot just take a baby across borders without some kind of documentation.
My children had dual BC’s. One from the country they were born in and the second one from the US State Department (because both parents were US citizens). Each child had to be on a passport in order to travel. (this issue has become too convoluted)
One thing that keeps popping in my head, is the possibility that Obama was not his biological father but Frank Marshall Davis (who was already married and could not acknowledge paternity). That might prove to be too embarrassing and there would be too much to retract, therefore the unwillingness to offer the necessary proof. MO did say that there was nothing to keep him from becoming the POTUS. Just another angle – not that I trust her words either.
I just wish this whole rotten mess could be resolved so that we can get on with the real issues at hand., i.e. how the election was stolen with dirty money. More relevant, I think, is that we should be FOLLOWING THE MONEY TRAIL!!!!

I’m fed up with the state of our education system. Whole thing seems to have an agenda.

Larry Summers was experimenting on his daughters?
Good Lord!
He sounds as nutty as John B. Watson. Watson was the psyhchologist who used his son, “Little Albert” in his fear conditioning experiments. As an infant, Watson scared the shit of the crib bound infant by first letting him get used to a white rat in his crib (he was playing with it) and then, after Little Albert liked his new toy, hit a loud gong every time the baby touched the rat. It wasn’t long before Little Albert screamed in fear every time he saw the white rodent. Little Albert’s fear was so strong, that he began to generalize it and associate anything white and furry with terror. (Hmmm, maybe Obama had a Little Albert childhood).
Summers sounds like he fits the mold of nutty professor. Willing to screw up his daughters for life all in the name of science.
kat in your hat 11.08.08 at 1:28 pm
Heneri, yes…but I don’t know how to gauge socialization. It happens not just through interaction but also observing. If I homeschooled my kids, I would want to make sure they are also with their own age group on a regular basis somehow. I dunno just thinking about stuff.

Right from the primaries it has been evident that Rove was working to help the Dems. We concluded that it was because they wanted BO as the weaker candidate, but even after BO pushed Hill out, the Repubs did little or nothing to help McCain. Hagel spoke glowingly of Obama, went with him on his world tour, and McCain refused to use the vast amount of negative information available to him in his fight against BO. There was no October surprise. McCain took public financing even after BO said he wouldn’t. Everything that has happened has seemed counter-intuitive.
I conclude, as I’ve said before, McCain was a foil, and the only candidate in this race for either party (for their own particular reasons) was BO.
An outside possibility might be that the present administration plans on using what they have known about BO’s ineligible status and it’s potential for fomenting constitutional crisis (or just rioting) as their way of declaring martial law and extending Republican tenure. Obviously it would have been simpler just to elect McCain/Palin, unless they thought they couldn’t control them.
Like I said above, there seems to be a shortage of honorable persons available to save the US from this cabal.

It is a well researched fact that children who spend more time with adults than masses of other classmates, do better in life, make better grades in college, and have less mental health issues than children who have been schooled in large groups in classrooms.
The family unit itself is the basic building block of society. The farm family, all working together for common goals, is the best model of a well balanced group. Respect for others is learned within the family, if the family is respectful of one another. Sharing and assisting one another, especially among siblings, is the best training ground I know of to socialize a child.
To compare: public school is a fast food (mass produced)world, home school is a specially prepared, individualized, home cooked meal.

I have alot of friends that homeschool and they have a wide network of support. I have a grandson that I would like to homeschool. He is always at the top in the school tasks and I don’t want to lose him through the mainstream educational process.

Lawrence Summers Flashback: Africa Is ‘Under-Polluted’
http://news.yahoo.com/s/thenation/20081106/cm_thenation/45381035
The memo:
http://www.whirledbank.org/ourwords/summers.html
After the memo became public in February 1992, Brazil’s then-Secretary of the Environment Jose Lutzenburger wrote back to Summers: “Your reasoning is perfectly logical but totally insane… Your thoughts [provide] a concrete example of the unbelievable alienation, reductionist thinking, social ruthlessness and the arrogant ignorance of many conventional ‘economists’ concerning the nature of the world we live in… If the World Bank keeps you as vice president it will lose all credibility. To me it would confirm what I often said… the best thing that could happen would be for the Bank to disappear.” Sadly, Mr. Lutzenburger was fired shortly after writing this letter.

We need to find out email addresses and start emailing the Republican representatives of the House. They are about to pick a new leader. Boehner (sp?) is the current leader and we need to encourage them to pick him again. He’s a good man. I saw him stand up against the radical Dems during the bailout process. He was against it. But I’m sure the Dems are trying to influence who will lead the Republicans because Boehner is strong opposition. I heard that Dan Lungren is planning to challenge Boehner for the position. THIS WOULD BE A DISASTER! Trust me. Lungren is in my district and he’s corrupt and no good. I tried to vote him out but apparently not successful. Lungren voted for the bailouts and he doesn’t care as long as he collects his lobbyist money and paychecks.

GBPuma is doing exceptional work on the actual vote count that is ongoing and we must be ready to hit them with the truth if McCain really won the election.
My suggestion would be pumas volunteer to find out who the electoral college members are in each state.
I’ll start by volunteering to find out who they are in California.

I run a small in home appraisal business. There was a time when I had an office and staff outside the home. I had a work area set up with a computer for my youngest daugher right in the office. Once we went to Switched on Schoolhouse, we had a really good system going. I would often work at my computer in my area that was adjacent to hers, and would be able to offer some assistance when she needed it.
Both of my girls learned how to answer the office phone, take a message, and other real life things before the age of 10. They learned some geometry by assisting me in measuring houses, drawing diagrams, and other things. Both learned how to take pictures with digital and 34 mm film cameras. Both learned how to read and annotate maps by assisting me.

Can Obama really be considering a known misogynist for Treasury Secretary?
The MSM is widely reporting that President-Elect Obama
is considering Larry Summer for the position of Treasury Secretary.
The New Agenda wrote about Summers and his record on sexism and misogyny last month. We issued a press release yesterday, and this morning,the Washington Post published an article detailing our objections to Obama’s potential appointment of Summers: href=”http://thenewagenda.net/2008/11/06/summers-is-over-the-washington-post-reports-on-the-new-agendas-anti-summers-position/
The New Agenda Action http://thenewagenda.net/2008/11/06/summers-is-over-the-washington-post-reports-on-the-new-agendas-anti-summers-position/
You can take action by contacting Valerie Jarrett, who is part of Obama’s Transition Team, at jarrett@barackobama.com,
to tell her what you think about Larry Summers as Treasury Secretary.
And add your name to the petition, We Need Real Change”, that goes into the many additional reasons Summers ought not be awarded that post.

It is never too late to home school, if you are dedicated. You need purpose and a good plan. Switched on School house is a great program, and costs about what the book fees are for a regular public school in our area. We always finished our courses way ahead of time, and then went on to special projects. We sometimes took college level courses from the teaching company. Many research papers and other outside projects were completed in the large amounts of left over time we had to fill.

Why we lost:
We had no on the ground grassroots work going on. There was no organization on the ground in any county, city or state. This is why Obark won, they had an extenisve on the ground network.

What is the vote count now in the states that are not done counting?
Also, I tried yesterday to find out who Florida’s electors were and came up emptyhanded. Monday, I’m calling my election board and asking for those names. And surely, the FL Dem Party knows but I have had arguments with them in the past when they wouldn’t give me the names of the Florida delegates and how they voted.

goofsmom the electoral college will NEVER make john mccain president.
We should be holding Obama’s feet to the fire and we have no time to waste. Larry Summers is a sexist. One of the reasons that mades us PUMA’s. If we don’t fight that, what the hell are we doing.
I will not spin my wheels on Electoral College and Birth Certificate issues which do nothing but distract. The birth certificate issue is being handled by others. I wish them luck with getting the One to be more transparent.
There is a lot to be done. We need focus.

I with you. We need to focus our actions. Getting the electoral college to vote McCain in is a waste of time. I keep thinking of Bill Clinton’s lighting beam commment. There are many places we can focus, but we need to have one or two agendas that we push hard. If Don Imus can be taken off the air for racist comments, why can’t Matthews be sanctioned for admitting his bias.
Better yet an organized effort (including on the blogs) to keep Larry Summers out. All this information on the blog is very educational, but we need to move beyond daily prowls to more sustained efforts to achieve particular short term goals.

Both of you are correct. Targetting the media with emails will make a dent in their perspective,, especially if ratings go down. But you can not stop there..the young women today have to understand that there is another choice..The woman that voted for the Dark Lord was either of color or young.. or uneducated by choice. Look at what they are seeing on TV..Why is there a problem with obesity and anoxia…Have you checked out the Video games that ran O’s campaign message..Did you know that Nick was having the election as was MTV? The media is not just main stream news.. O did not just have CNN on his side. He had MTV, Nick, even ESPN

IMHO we need to get started on focusing on the electoral college. We must find out who they are and start blasting them with info about “O”.
GBPuma is doing exceptional work on the actual vote count that is ongoing and we must be ready to hit them with the truth if McCain really won the election.
My suggestion would be pumas volunteer to find out who the electoral college members are in each state.
I’ll start by volunteering to find out who they are in California.
~~~~~~~~~
Totally on this page with you goofsmom… and everyone else needs to be taking this action more seriously. Forget emails to Matthews… he’s a lost cause. We need to focus on the EC. I’ve seen how we can force concerns and change through our numbers when we put the pressure on.
We need to focus on pressuring the EC — but the first challenge is finding out who they are? They will be voting on Dec. 15th… and we can put the pressure on to make them accountable for vetting this president since the media refuses. Obama might threaten that half the nation will protest — and use this threat to intimidate the EC to ignore the minimum qualifications — but the other half the country is for holding his feet to the fire. And it’s debatable whether the other half of the nation is as large as Obama would like us to think since voter fraud was huge to get the numbers he received.
Stay focused on this goal… I believe it may grow legs. And remember the language that is crucial in our communications with the EC. We need to stress language that this is preserving the ORIGINAL INTENT of our founding fathers when establishing the role of the EC and the ORIGINAL INTENT of our Constitution.
I am not surprised about the possible choice of Larry Summers. All throughout the primary, Obama was getting endorsed by the “All Boys Club.” It was obvious then that he doesn’t give a flying flung about women. These women’s groups that endorsed him are fools AND they were tools in his plan. My daughter received FOUR Planned Parenthood fliers in the mail the week before the election. These fliers bashed McCain and endorsed Obama.
So, Gloria Steinman, where is your editorial now on Larry Summers? You couldn’t wait to write one for Barry.
Secondly, I would like to say, to those who have been trashing Hillary, she did not sell us out, consider your own family and friends and how they would have felt when their former employees and friends did sell them out to the enemy, who spent their campaign money like water down a drain, to have their campaign headquarters vandalised, and friends dying under mysterious means, your family threatened—what would you do? Hillary is the only politician to whom I’ve ever contributed, and ther is no way in H**l I would ask for a refund because she did what she had to do.Yes, I wrote her in, and I’m proud of that, I’d do it again, and I voted for a democratic Governor because her opponent was using the same tactics as that one—and wanted to cut the minimum wage in WA. by $1.50 an hour, but I voted for some republicans too. I voted for women where I could, I always do. But you do not need to call me a traitor, I did not, would never vote for Obama, but neither would I vote for McCain, who just couldn’t get it together. This election was rigged from day 1, we never stood a chance, but folks who drank the kool-aid are going to learn real fast, when all those students are required to do 3 months community service every year, and what ever other harebrained schemes he has in mind. I heard 2 men talking in a hardware store yesterday about the 3 months community service, and then of course we have the 1st dog(lol) , who can’t be a “mutt” like that one. But I do want to stay, I want to fight, and I’d like to be able to read my comments, which I haven’t been lately.
May your Higher power bless you and keep you all safe and I hope to see you all here tommorrow.
Well
opposing candidates. There were a lot of them. maybe 15.
members of the electors. some have said they want Obama to prove he is eligible. I have no idea who they are but Berg probably was notified.
A state such as SOS or AG of some state bringing the suit. But then it would be done under their money. Probably not going to partner up with us. Although we might get them to file if we had an idea of who might consider it.
There are a couple of lawyers who have worked on this. They have lost cases in different states. Berg would be a natural place to find out who they all are. I have posted some names on our blog over time but I did not keep copies of those posts. This is why I am frustrated with the software here. It is so impossible to find anything. Maybe the moderators can search and find the info. Also Jeff at AmericasRight.com has kept track of most of the people and proceedings. Although Jeff seems to have lost some entheusiasm for the project. He is a law student night school. but a full adult with 2 kids. Very sensible guy. Jeff has been in good contact with Berg in the past and was reporting on the Berg process before he began to lose entheusiasm.
Dances,
Are you talking to me? Why the impatience? Some of us don’t know if the leadership is working on a plan. I don’t think any one of us singlehandedly can design a full-fledged attack. We need to gather a handful of members with certain expertise. For example:
Media people – experience interacting with media
Design people – graphics visuals.
Media pyschology – the missing component here
Blogging Managers – teams of bloggers assign to specific blogs to put out well-crafted messages.
On camera talent – designated spokes people who know what to do in an interview.
Initial thoughts. I am absolutely willing to sign on, but I don’t want to waste time on the blog pissing in the wind. I have too many responsibilities as do the vast majority of us.
How about forming a list of expertise needed and get volunteers? Start there.
Hello, PUMAs, Here are some of my thoughts about the election. I posted a rough draft of these thoughts a few days back, but as I have been thinking about it, I have revised, refined, and rewritten it. It is hard to put all of what has happened into words, but I continue to try. SO here goes:
Watching the supporters of Barack Obama at the victory celebration I was struck by what I have seen all throughout this long election season—the kool-aid glazed adoring eyes and giddy smiles as their candidate took the stage. This trance-like state which has been pervasive throughout the campaign, has prevented his followers from objectively evaluating his qualifications to become president. As they have gazed upon him, blinded by the feel-good cult mentality, they have sacrificed the capacity to employ judgment. They have ignored his history of radical associations, the lack of any remarkable legislation, his inability to lead by standing up for principles, the unconscionable violence of his supporters, and his paucity of experience and comprehensive knowledge about all matters domestic and international. In addition, the degree of corruption, underhanded manipulation of the Democratic party and convention, and the amount of suspect funds raised have remained, for some reason, unchallenged by reasonable investigation. Finally, Obama perpetuated hateful misogyny throughout the campaign by tacitly participating in and never once speaking out against the unspeakable and vicious attacks on women candidates. It seems that the followers of Barack Obama have sacrificed rationality and reason for the tingle factor, the star power, the fine words and exciting speeches. We are now in a very vulnerable position in our country. We have been bamboozled by a snake oil salesman and his henchmen in an election that was anything but free and fair. All opposing voices were silenced, all qualified candidates were vilified and annihilated. And now we are faced by the stark reality of an inexperienced president to lead us through very crucial and dangerous times. The citizens of the US, brainwashed by the media and the Obama campaign, have elected the most inexperienced and unqualified candidate for president suggesting that our collective unconscious is engaged in a repetition compulsion to relive the Bush years. Let us not bury the past and leave it unchecked, let us please investigate how this man attained power, and let us try to reform our election process. If we leave this election unscrutinized we will repeat its mistakes and risk the loss of democracy forever.
Phoenix posted this quote over at Violet’s blog:
On the eve of President Wilson’s inauguration, Alice Paul organized a “monster demonstration” that brought the woman suffrage cause back into national prominence.
Led by a banner demanding a Constitutional amendment, about eight thousand women started from the Capitol, marched down Pennsylvania Avenue past the White House and ended in a rally at the Daughters of the American Revolution hall.
“On March 3 there arrived in Washington a man who was that day a simple citizen of the United States,” writes Paul’s biographer Inez Haynes Irwin. “The next day he was to become the President of the United States. As Woodrow Wilson drove from the station through the empty streets to his hotel, he asked, ‘Where are the people?’
“The answer was, ‘Over on the Avenue watching the Suffrage Parade’.”
WHY CAN’T WE ORGANIZE A PROTEST IN WASHINGTON AGAINST SEXISM ON THE DAY OF OBAMA’S INAUGURATION?
I would like the history books to record that women’s rights were still not being recognized on the “momentous” day that we overcame race in this country.
Hell..not recognized- they were being trampled over. I want people to have to think about that on the big day. I want Obama to be forced to share the spotlight with the majority of this country: WOMEN.
The reason we have free public schools is because not every parent(mother), especially nowadays, is able to stay-at-home, nor is everyone able to teach. Most of the children who are homeschooled have above average circumstances and therefore would have been ok in any educational setting. Not all public school teachers are bad news. Generalizing that all public school teachers are mean or ignorant and that all public schools are like Chicago’s-teaching communistic views AND ignoring reading writing, and arithmetic-or that they allow students to be misused on a regular basis is unconscionable. My husband, my brother, my sister-in-law and I as former teachers with years of experience in public schools object.
“goofsmom the electoral college will NEVER make john mccain president.”
~~~~~~~~
You are missing the point. This is NOT about getting the EC to choose McCain. This is about the Republican officials in the EC standing up against the Democratic EC representatives and demanding to see a Birth Certificate. Putting pressure on them to make sure that they PROVE he qualifies under the ORIGINAL INTENT of the EC to make sure that they are preserving the Constitutional INTENT of the founding fathers.
AGAIN — this isn’t about the HOPES of choosing McCain — it’s about the HOPE that they will hold the candidate accountable for being transparent. What is hard to understand here?

I’m posting the entire answer as to whether State Electoral Members must vote for their party’s candidate because someone said above that they are not required to. Read the whole answer:
Must electors vote for the candidate who won their State’s popular vote?
There is no Constitutional provision or Federal law that requires electors to vote according to the results of the popular vote in their States. Some States, however, require electors to cast their votes according to the popular vote. These pledges fall into two categories—electors bound by State law and those bound by pledges to political parties.
Which States bind electors to popular vote results? Refer to Electors Bound by State Law and Pledges to find out.
The Supreme Court has held that the Constitution does not require that electors be completely free to act as they choose and therefore, political parties may extract pledges from electors to vote for the parties’ nominees. Some State laws provide that so-called “faithless electors” may be subject to fines or may be disqualified for casting an invalid vote and be replaced by a substitute elector. The Supreme Court has not specifically ruled on the question of whether pledges and penalties for failure to vote as pledged may be enforced under the Constitution. No elector has ever been prosecuted for failing to vote as pledged.
Today, it is rare for electors to disregard the popular vote by casting their electoral vote for someone other than their party’s candidate. Electors generally hold a leadership position in their party or were chosen to recognize years of loyal service to the party. Throughout our history as a nation, more than 99 percent of electors have voted as pledged.

Aw, my guy just called me and he told me that his mother is tutoring an older man to get his GED, and he is from S. America, from a red country. She said that he was hysterical crying that Obama won because the USA was never supposed to allow this to happen, to elect a marxist socialist. He said Obama’s agenda is so obvious and he cannot believe the American people want the pain that will come.
Sort of scary and sad, huh? So many Americans don’t understand how so many other countries and hearts depend on America’s principles of freedom fighting for democracy and individualism–the right to pursue happiness. America must stay special.

We are not alone with our fears:
Torah codes predict, and warn about, Obama presidencyPosted by Israel Insider on November 7, 2008 at 4:18pm in Israel, Iran, and the Nuclear Threat
View Discussions
Two Jewish researchers, Joel Gallis and Dr. Robert Wolf, asserted with utter certainty in May 2007, long before Barack Hussein Obama had won his first primary and when it appeared that Hillary Clinton was a sure thing, that he would be the next president of the United States.
More recently, in August 2008, the scholars reported that Obama’s name “intersects” with a passage in the apocalyptic book of Daniel, Chapter 7, and specifically Daniel 7:25, which speaks of the last “king” who would oppress God’s people under the rubric of bringing about “change” to the world.
The scholars show that the numerical equivalent of “Barack Hussein Obama” in gematria – the practice of finding the numerical value of letters and creating associations between words and phrases – is 501.
In an article from August 2008, the scholars elaborate that this number is associated with the “end of days” and two factors that they say the Torah indicate would trigger the apocalypse: the rise of Islam and the fact that Jews are bring about their own fall – by overwhelming helping to elect Obama:
The connection is that the descendants of Yishmael are the evil that will befall the Jewish People at that time. We will anger G-d through the work of our hands, במעשה ידיכם (a gematria of 501), and the evil of the ישמעאלים (also a gematria of 501) will befall us. So what could we have possibly done with our hands that would anger Hashem? With our very own hands, we finance and work to put the wrong people in power over us. This action results in our downfall. By putting into power leaders in Israel who don’t believe in G-d, we help bring about a spiritual collapse. And by electing dangerous leaders in America and other countries, we assist in bringing our physical and moral downfall. We vote for these people, we put them in power, and we raise money for them. This inappropriate work of our hands will bring evil upon us in the form of Yishmael.
For not only is 501 the value of במעשה ידיכם (the work of our hands), and our punishment, the ישמעאלים , but it is also connected to the next President of the United States that we are helping put in power through Jewish efforts. For 501 is also the gematria of ראש representing the new head, or leader of America.
So who will be the new ראש of America? Our readers probably will be shocked to learn that 501 is also the gematria of ברק חוסיין אובאמה, Barack Hussein Obama.
Hashem watches as countless Jews, especially in Hollywood, California, rush to send their money to Obama’s campaign chest. And so, with our own hands we are in the process of taking a descendant from Yishmael and placing him as our Rosh in the White House, just 7 years after 9/11. He is indeed the evil that will befall us at the end of days, the evil that Moses spoke to our ancestors about.
But there are those who argue that Obama is youthful and energized in his appearance and his ideas. Why shouldn’t we believe him when he says the magic words that he is a friend of Israel? How do we really know he’s dangerous to us? Not only is his name the same gematria as Yishmaelim, evidencing that he is a Muslim although he denies it, but it also has a further connection to a wave of impending evil against the Jews and the rest of the world.
At our Passover seders we spill a drop of wine when we mention each of the 10 plagues, and also when we mention the abbreviation of those plagues by saying דצך עדש באחב . Well this abbreviation of the 10 plagues also has a gematria of 501, the same as Barack Hussein Obama and the Yishmaelim.
Obama and radical Muslims will bring as much havoc, destruction, and confusion to the world as all the 10 plagues together brought to Egypt. It’s interesting how Rabbi Yehudah, who made the acrostic or abbreviation of the plagues, took the first Hebrew letter of each plague. However, with respect to the last plague, מכת בכרות , the killing of the first born, he took the bais (the first letter of the 2nd word of the plague), rather than the mem (the first letter of the first word). Perhaps he knew that in the future, during the end of days, there would be an Obama. Perhaps his message is a warning to us that has been encoded in the Haggadah for nearly 2 thousand years until today.
The foreign minister of Hamas has recently endorsed Obama for president. The Los Angeles Times devoted a lengthy front-page story headlined, “Allies of Palestinians see a friend in Barack Obama.”
Ali Abunimah, a resident of Obama’s district, claims that Obama said several years ago when running for the Senate, that he was sorry he couldn’t talk more about the Palestinian cause since his primary campaign had constrained what he could say.
Daniel 7 (25) deals with the last king of the 4th beast of exile who will humble 3 other kings. Rav Saadia Gaon stated that the 3 kings or leaders who will be humbled, are from Israel, Greece (representing Europe), and Yishmael (representing the Arab nations). This haughty, arrogant king will speak words against G-d and the Jewish People, and he will try to change the times and the law. How interesting is it that this very word, change, is the key word used by Obama in his campaign?
The coded, end of days message that Yaakov gave over to his sons was not deciphered by them. But our generation, the generation alive at the end of days, can understand the clues and break the code.
In Yaakov’s statement there are 4 words אשר יקרא אתכם באחרית (that will befall you in the end). The word אשר that describes the identity of the evil has a gematria of 501 the same as Barack Hussein Obama. And if you look at the word באחרית , in the end, the first 3 letters contain the initials of Obama. The bais is for ברק Barack, the aleph is for אובאמה Obama, and the ches is for חוסיין Hussein.
The scholars, using the clues of the book of Daniel, say that Obama will rein as “King” for three and a half years. In their May broadcast, they ascribe special significance to the date of April 8, 2009, the day before the festival of Passover (Pesach), when the once-in-28-years “Blessing of the Sun” is to be recited. They believe that between now and that date there will be dramatic developments that involve Iran.

Sharia (Arabic: شريعة transliteration: Šarīʿah) is the body of Islamic religious law. The term means “way” or “path to the water source”; it is the legal framework within which the public and private aspects of life are regulated for those living in a legal system based on Islamic principles of jurisprudence and for Muslims living outside the domain. Sharia deals with many aspects of day-to-day life, including politics, economics, banking, business, contracts, family, sexuality, hygiene, and social issues.

There are four main schools of Sharia law:
Hanbali: This is the most conservative school of Shari’a. It is used in Saudi Arabia and some states in Northern Nigeria.
Hanifi: This is the most liberal school, and is relatively open to modern ideas.
Maliki: This is based on the practices of the people of Medina during Muhammad’s lifetime.
Shafi’i: This is a conservative school that emphasizes on the opinions of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad.

Lutzenburger was fired shortly after writing this letter

So, let me get this straight. Our banks are not only getting nationalized (gigantic step toward socialism), due to the bailout, but now our banks are working with Sharia economics?
Does anyone else have a problem with this? LOL! This will all be so interesting. Wonder how much of the USA will be like a bunch of slow boiling frogs? 80%? 95%?
Maybe even 99% ya know, I mean no one cared that Obama campaigned for his cousin Raila Odinga who signed the NAMLEF pact to introduce Sharia Law to Kenya, even though it is a mainly Christian US ally. SOOOO, who cares, I guess. You’d think one would deduce that quite possibly Oblow agrees with Sharia on some level, eh?

The Silent Jihad Against the West
Culture War Dr. Vincent G. Gioia
May 3, 2008
Anyone that cares to learn about what is going on in the world is familiar with active jihad, the “holy war”, conducted with terrorism and directed at the modern world in general and Western Civilization more specifically. But there is also another form of jihad that is part of the deliberate effort to have Islam replace all concepts of morality and the values held dear by the rest of us. The name of this silent “fifth column” effort is “Sharia Banking”. Unfortunately, Sharia Banking is increasingly accepted by Western banking institutions without any real understanding of what the Muslim goal is and what is at stake in the efforts by these institutions to attract more business, profits and money to bail them out of financial messes they brought upon themselves.
Islamic Sharia banking is coming to the United States and other Western nations, thanks to global banks such as Citigroup, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Great Britain is now pledging to become the Islamic banking center of the world. Clearly the headlong rush by all global banks to enter the world of Islamic banking is well underway. Why do Western banks seek to participate in Sharia banking; because it gives them a chance to enter the Islamic banking industry which has over $1.5 trillion available today and is growing at a steady and explosive rate of over 15% per year.
The implications for the west, and especially for the United States, are staggeringly destructive. Islamic banking working through global banks is doing for Islam what it could never do on its own: giving legitimacy to Sharia law and infiltrating it into the fabric of Western society.
For those not familiar with Sharia Banking; it is a system which creates and sells services and products that are in strict accordance with Sharia law. Sometimes it is referred to in the Islamic culture as “Sharia finance”. It dictates how the practices of banking, investment, bonds, loans, brokerage, etc, are to be conducted.
To insure compliance and to become “Sharia banking” compliant, banks must hire Sharia experts to review and approve each product and practice of the bank. This is known as halal, which has been described as “the Muslim equivalent of kosher in Judaism.” There is a shortage of such Sharia experts so there is competition among banks to find such experts to sit on their boards of directors. By having an “expert” involved in banking decisions, this provides the legitimacy to each banking decision because it is made at the director rather management level. However, most of these Sharia experts” are from the radical Wahhabi school of Islam in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere, and they hold views diametrically opposed to the basic values of Western civilization.
The Center for Security has identified some of the Sharia experts sitting on the boards of U.S. financial institutions. The top twenty “advisors” include many with conflicts of interests and anti-trust issues since they sit on boards of many Islamic banks at the same time. The Center for Security identifies a couple of advisors with ties to money-laundering and terrorism:
Yousuf Quaradawi who is prominent in the Muslim Brotherhood, owns two banks himself and has issued statements in support of Palestinian attacks on Israeli citizens and has issued rulings supporting Hamas and Hezbollah jihad attacks against Israel.
Muhammad Yaqui Usami who is a radical cleric and Sharia court judge in Pakistan. He is on the board of organizations that train thousands of Taliban and jihad foot soldiers. But the most heinous thing is his complicity in the murder and suffering of countless innocent Muslims as apostates because they disagreed with his Islamic mandates.
These are the kinds of people advising U.S. banks on how to conduct their business to assure they are “Sharia compliant”.
There are many differences of Sharia banks from orthodox banking. In Sharia banking interest (deemed “usury” regardless of rate or amount) cannot be charged, and investments must not be associated in any way with gambling, drinking alcohol, eating pork, etc. Very importantly, it calls for alms giving, referred to in Islamic parlance as “zakat”.
Zakat demands a tithe of 2.5 percent of revenue be donated to Islamic charity. If Western banks follow this rule, it is certain that a portion of this money will end up in the hands of radical Muslims who are sworn to destroy the United States and replace our government with Sharia law.
For those unfamiliar with it, Sharia law is the legal and judicial system of Islam that is brutally imposed on many Islamic countries in the Middle East. It is the embodiment of the totalitarian ideology practiced by the Taliban, Iranian Mullahs and Saudi Wahhabis.
Sharia law is perpetuated by claiming to have its roots in the Koran, but it is actually for the most part based on rulings and dictates made by Islamic scholars and caliphs over several centuries. Non Muslims know Sharia law’s practices of harsh brutality and punishment as well as the total subjugation of women from newspaper articles describing the many rulings handed down by Sharia courts. These actions have shocked the Western world; here are a few examples that have been written in various press accounts:
▪ The December, 2007 “teddy bear” case in Sudan, where a British teacher was sentenced to 40 lashes and a year in jail for allowing her students to name their teddy bear “Mohammad.” Islamic mobs demonstrated in the streets and called for her execution.
▪ The November, 2007 case where a 19 year old gang-rape victim in Saudi Arabia received a sentence of 200 lashes for riding in the car with her rapists.
▪ In 2006, a 34 year-old mother who was forcibly raped was ultimately tried and convicted of adultery, and was ordered to be stoned to death. Publication of cartoons in Denmark deemed disrespectful of Mohammad which caused endless demonstrations and mayhem, as well as the killing of many people.”
Islam and Sharia law demands total and unquestioned submission. Its followers are told that Sharia law is given by Allah and that whatever befalls them (good or bad) is “Allah’s will.” To question a judgment under Sharia (right or wrong) is to question Islam itself and will only bring harsh punishment. Curiously, by Islamic thinking if a person receives harsh punishment for something they didn’t do is nonetheless acceptable; the rationale being that Allah could and would have prevented it if that had been his will. This fatalistic approach which is contrary to what all other societies believe allows Islamic rulers to get away with virtually any thing they choose to do.
International bankers have long ago proven themselves to be completely amoral when it comes to money. They financed the Bolshevik Revolution in 1918 just as readily as they financially supported Hitler in the 1930’s. Now they are doing the same for the Islamists that want to destroy Western civilization just as the communists and Nazis tried unsuccessfully to do before.
Unfortunately the odds of Islamic success are very different than the earlier threats. For one thing there are about 1.5 billion Muslims in the world and Islam is the fastest growing religion in history. Secondly, the spread of Islam is financed by the oil that is extracted from mid-eastern countries and thirdly, Islam has already infiltrated most of the west, especially in Europe. Now Islam has the combined support and encouragement of the entire global banking community.
There is an unholy alliance between Islam and global banking which may be the final nail in the coffin of Western civilization in the historic quest for Islamic global domination. Remember that the next time you hear Islamist mobs chant “Death to America” – and don’t take it so lightly.

oh and there’s this too from wiki:
In December 2003, the Bush administration formally commenced a program to combat the AIDS pandemic devastating much of the developing world. The President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, or PEPFAR, committed $15 billion over five years to that task. Two Harvard University teams submitted grant applications—one from the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) and the other from Harvard Medical School (HMS). In February 2004, Harvard learned that the HSPH had been awarded one of four initial PEPFAR grants, and that the medical school’s application had been rejected.
The HSPH grant was to be used to treat AIDS patients in Nigeria and Tanzania with life-prolonging drugs, and to train health workers in Botswana. Dr. Phyllis Kanki was the leader of the HSPH team. Summers was concerned about potential risks—lawsuits and the possibility of AIDS drugs hitting the black market—especially since he wasn’t controlling the grant.
Summers decided to take control of the grant. He believed that despite Kanki’s accomplishments and extensive experience with HIV/AIDS programs in Africa, she was unfit to lead the mammoth grant (she is a veterinarian, not a medical doctor).

valleywitch: Short answer: Call your State Party Chair’s office to find out who are the electors for your state.
“Candidates for elector are nominated by their state political parties in the months prior to Election Day. The Constitution delegates to each state the authority for nominating and choosing its electors. In some states, the electors are nominated in primaries, the same way that other candidates are nominated. Other states, such as Oklahoma, Virginia, and North Carolina nominate electors in party conventions. In Pennsylvania, the campaign committees of each candidate name their candidates for presidential elector (an attempt to discourage faithless electors).”

MakowashiNatsuko 11.08.08 at 3:51 pm
Good afternoon to all Rurouni MakowashiNatsuko just woke up for the day. I noticed that you all were having a discussion about home schooling earlier. I was homeschooled my my Kaasan and didn’t have a problem with getting along with my peers.
I think I’m a better person for being homeschooled. I have a sense that I am comfortable in my own skin and was NOT looked down and talked to by my teachers. Both my parents treated me like a small adult from a VERY young age. No topic was off the table, if I was interested in something my parents would tell in a well educated manner.
I was considered by many of my peers when I went back for band and drama in high school to be a FREAK. I was often picked on, had my books thrown into the trash can, was called a freak and other things.
I was considered to be an outsider and my peers tried their hardest to make me FEEL as such. I never went to dances or the prom because I found that to be a big waste of money and something that I as a person didn’t need to make my life feel complete.
Due to this the underclassmen that I knew in high school have now made me a leagued. I did nothing and took no crap off of any one in the public school that I went to part time.
This same high school was being paid by the government as though I was a full time student. which I WASN’T and they wouldn’t even let me get my diploma with my other class mates. So I had to drop out a week before graduation so that I could get my GED and I DID get my GED.
I have a very great vendetta against the public school systems and what they turn out. This is why most of the youth ACT the way they do. It is how they school system tells them that they NEED to fit in. They break the kids up into a little group. And I for one find this sick. Can’t we all just be ourselves without others telling us what group we belong to?
And this is how the them and us thing start. It starts early in school and follows us into adult hood.

I think Sharia Law would permit women being stoned to death for sexual “crimes”, among other things. And yeah, I would say the antics of Obama’s cabal set the tone for this idea in the U.S.
As far as banking, perhaps we can look forward to Dobbs, Frank, Raines, and the other Fannie and Freddie criminals having their limbs amputated for theft so I guess that’s the bright side to Sharia.
Obie’s bc doesn’t matter as much as where his sympathies lie. And sympathies don’t matter as much as where the money lies. Apparently, no one wants to alienate Middle Eastern money. Human rights are trivial and bothersome as we have learned in this election.

Credit to Michael Richards better known as “Kramer”: Every time they want something the race card comes up! Pisses me off i must admit.
* ARE WHITES RACIST?*
This is great. I have been wondering about why Whites are
racists, and no other race is.
Proud to be White
Michael Richards makes his point…
Michael Richards better known as Kramer
from TVs Seinfeld does make a good point.
This was his defense speech in court after making racial
comments in his comedy act. He makes some very interesting points…
Someone finally said it… How many are actually paying
attention to this? There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian
Americans, Arab Americans, etc. And then there are just Ameri-
cans. You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.
You call me ‘White boy,’ ‘Cracker,’ ‘Honkey,’ ‘Whitey,’ ‘Caveman’ ….
and that’s OK.
But when I call you, Ni##er, Kike, Towel head, Sand-ni##er, Camel
Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink … You call me a racist. You say that
whites commit a lot of violence against you… so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther
King Day. You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez
Day. You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma’uled Al-Nabi. You have
the NAACP. You have BET… If we had WET (White Entertainment
Television), we’d be racists. If we had a White Pride Day, you would
call us racists. If we had White History Month, we’d be racists.
If we had any organization for only whites to ‘advance’
OUR, lives we’d be racists.
We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of
Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.
Wonder who pays for that??
A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant,
but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships
…You know we’d be racists.
There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US ..
Yet if there were ‘White colleges’ That would be a racist college.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching
for your race and rights.
If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange,
and you’re not afraid to announce it.
But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police
officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-
dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you
call him a racist.
I am proud… But you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists??
There is nothing improper about this e-mail. Let’s see which of you
are proud enough to send it on. I sadly don’t think many will.
That’s why we have lost most of OUR RIGHTS in this country. We won’t
stand up for ourselves!

John Kerry for State? Good! Make Way for the 30% Solution!
Posted on November 8, 2008 by bostonboomer
Larry Johnson reports that he heard some gossip about Obama’s national security appointments at an event in DC last night.
Just got back from an event in Washington and had the chance to speak with some folks who are in the know about Barack’s national security team. Here’s the latest:
Secretary of State. JOHN KERRY. Here is the interesting background. Kerry called Hillary Clinton before announcing his endorsement. He said he would endorse her if she would promise him the SecState position. Hillary said no. Next stop–Obama town. Barack said yes and in early January John Kerry announced for Obama. So far so good. One minor problem. Barack made the same promise to Bill Richardson (please understand, Barack is not the first politician to promise different people the same thing). However, turns out two close associates of Richardson are under a sealed indictment expected to become public shortly. Ergo, John Kerry will be the new Secretary of State. Wes Clark ain’t even on the list.
Everyone here in Massachusetts is buzzing about the possibility that both Governor Deval Patrick and our junior Senator, John Kerry, maybe moving on up to join Barack’s team. Patrick has repeatedly denied that he wants to go to Washington and has said he will run for a second term as Governor.According to The Boston Globe:
US Senator John F. Kerry’s widely reported place on Barack Obama’s short list for secretary of state raises the possibility of dramatic changes in the Massachusetts political landscape, just days after Kerry won easy election to a fifth term.
Kerry’s leap to a federal Cabinet post would spur what strategists and even potential candidates are already describing as a mad scramble among a dozen or more Massachusetts political figures over a tantalizing opportunity, a rare open seat in Washington’s most exclusive club.
“These Senate seats come up once in a lifetime,” said Dan Payne, a Democratic media consultant who has worked for Kerry’s campaigns. “Anybody who has ever thought they wanted to be a senator will assemble the kitchen cabinet and take a good, careful look at it.”
One strong candidate to take over Kerry’s seat would be Democrat Martha Coakley, currently Attorney General. Coakley was a strong Hillary Clinton supporter who fought to have the votes of Florida and Michigan counted and she was one of the holdouts who voted for Hillary at the Convention in Denver. So it’s possible we might be able to take a step toward the 30 Percent Solution here in Massachusetts.
Said Coakley, confirming her interest last night: “Certainly any politician in Massachusetts would be interested in that seat. They don’t open that often.”
Another woman who might be interested in running for the seat is former Republican Lt. Governor Kerry Healy.
According to the Globe:
The political landscape is further clouded by the health of Senator Edward M. Kennedy, who was diagnosed this spring with a malignant brain tumor. After undergoing surgery, he spoke at the Democratic National Convention, has returned to Washington, and is preparing to push forward healthcare legislation once Obama takes office.
Unlike most states that allow the governor to appoint a replacement, Massachusetts law says that a vacant US Senate seat would have to be filled by a special election within 140 to 160 days of the resignation. The Democrat-controlled Legislature approved the law when Kerry was running for president in 2004, to prevent Governor Mitt Romney, a Republican, from appointing a possible successor.
Democrats could try to change the law back to ensure Republicans don’t pull off a surprise victory. Patrick indicated yesterday he was open to the idea of reverting to the old system of appointments, but said he was “not pushing a change.”
Very interesting. It sure would be nice to replace Senator Kerry with a woman who was so supportive of Hillary Clinton. Maybe Hillary would take her under her wing and teach her the ropes. Who knows what they might be able to accomplish?

Why Obama Won
By Jim Toedtman – November 4, 2008 – AARP Bulletin
In a small office at the Schott glass company warehouse in Duryea, Pa., I interviewed Sen. Barack Obama for half an hour, which became the lead article in the AARP Bulletin’s October issue. Our face-to-face meeting was hastily arranged and was squeezed between Obama’s tour of the plant, a public rally, meetings with local union leaders and local television reporters, a snack at a local diner and a trip to New Jersey. But it happened.
This small story tells the big story of why Barack Obama is president-elect of the United States. It shows the instincts and attention to detail that was replicated hundreds if not thousands of times over the past year, and in the process made history.
1. His campaign recognized his weaknesses and addressed them.
Half of the likely voters are over age 50 this year, and they are a problem for Democrats. They voted overwhelmingly for George Bush in 2000 and 2004. Even this year, as support for Democrats surged across the country, the number of people identifying themselves with the Republican Party actually increased among voters over 65, according to the latest Pew Research poll. This resulted from Reagan Republicans getting older, and especially from the passing of members of the New Deal generation, who were overwhelmingly Democratic.
Older voters have been a special problem for Obama. They preferred Hillary Clinton over Obama during the primary campaign. Converting them posed a crucial challenge for Obama’s general election strategy. At the same time, John McCain had a significant advantage among older voters, which meant that both candidates had an interest in reaching them. One very efficient vehicle would be the AARP Bulletin, the association’s monthly news publication whose circulation of 24 million reaches more than half of the nation’s 50-plus population. Members are over 50, they tend to be engaged in civic activities and vote at a higher rate than nonmembers.
In July I sent identical letters to both Obama and Sen. John McCain, requesting Bulletin interviews with them. The McCain campaign never replied.
2. He had a superior organization.
Within days of sending the letter, I received a call from Erin Fitzgerald in Obama’s Chicago headquarters, acknowledging the request and conveying the campaign’s interest in arranging an interview. After a false start, my request was bumped up to Moira Mack, also based in Chicago, who always closed our conversations confidently: “We’re going to make this happen.”
Finally, on Labor Day, she left a telephone message and an e-mail on my BlackBerry.
How about this week? Fine.
How about Wilkes-Barre, Pa.? Fine.
Go there Friday and we’ll let you know. Call Katie Herbek for details.
Katie Herbek was traveling with the Obama campaign in Pennsylvania from York to Wilkes-Barre for a morning rally, then off to a fundraiser and another rally in New Jersey. Obama visited Pennsylvania more than 250 times between January 2007 and Election Day. In September, he trailed McCain there by double digits, and was working to make it a battleground state. His campaign announced it was opening 60 community offices throughout the state (including one in Wilkes-Barre), four times as many as McCain had.
Herbek’s job was to herd the entourage of newspaper, magazine, radio and television correspondents and technicians, and the bloggers who followed the candidates this year, and to coordinate media requests for both national and local reporters. And me. She and I traded messages before I was directed to Jen Hertzel, who greeted me at the side entrance to the Schott warehouse (at the end of a gravel road about two miles outside Wilkes-Barre). Hertzel knew I was coming, and asked about a photographer who was meeting me there. She helped us clear security and parked us in the back of a storage area converted into a meeting hall, where Obama would greet the company workers.
Other reporters, photographers and technicians soon arrived. So did Obama’s chief strategist, David Axelrod, who acknowledged his concern for older voters: “They are an important component of the campaign for us.”
Finally, Herbek directed my photographer and me through a network of hallways and doors and to the office where we met Obama.
3. No vote was too small.
In the course of the interview, we discussed the reluctance of older voters to support Obama. I mentioned that my wife, Haydee, was one of the skeptics. Our discussion covered budget deficits, Medicare and Social Security, energy, jobs, his mother and grandmother, and long-term care.
At the end, I asked if he would sign his book, Dreams From My Father, for me.
“No,” he replied.
“But I will sign it for your wife,” which he did. Later, I opened the book to see what he had written.
“To Haydee. I want your vote. Best wishes. Barack Obama.”

I know that a lot of safeguards have been put in since, but how secure can any grid be. That tree took out the eastern seaboard in less than 2 min. I attended the Engineering School at the University Of Virginia the second year it was open to women. I have to wonder how much better off our country would be today if the fields of science, technology and engineering had been open to the pool of talent from women.
People with attitudes like Summers have limited talent pools and are a big part of the reason why America is falling behind in science and technology. He has no business being in any position of decision making where he could continue to do so.
If Obama accepts him, it just adds to the claims that he is a woman-hater.

#96 DancesWithPumas, regarding the yammering and needing a plan, I agree wholeheartedly with you. Some of the ideas here, like attacking the electoral college, seem ludicrous to me, and will only earn PUMA the reputation of being a kool-aid nut group. Also, attempts to swamp the media with complaints will bear little fruit at this time, given the current state of the media. That’s not to say that the media shouldn’t be contacted, but that shouldn’t be the primary focus.
What I propose is that PUMA get behind primarily one issue that all members can agree on and work toward, where the success of the objective can be determined by PUMA itself, and not be dependent on external sources. The the most important goal, I thionk, should be to root out corruption in the Democratic Party. The ultimate goal would be that 2016 is corruption free at the caucus level. Which means that PUMA members should get actively involved with the caucuses, joinging them, so they can be there to stop any attempt at cheating. This was the primary problem, because it was cheating at the caucuses that got Hillary shoved aside and Bobo selected as the Democratic candidate.
When 2016 comes, that’s the time to have local media on hand, as witnesses to whatever struggles take place. Bring your men with you, because a 250-pound gorilla can shove aside a 120-pound female any day of the week, and I have the impression that there was a tremendous amount of physical intimidation going on at the caucuses…with logsheets getting ripped out of peoples’ hands and people getting shoved out into the street.
There’s no reason why you can’t have Hillary in 2016…who knows? maybe even in 2012…but focussing on a corruption-free caucus for 2016 should be the overarching goal, I think. It’s not going to get fixed overnight, but there’s 8 years to work on it, and that’s enough time.

Nothing like an economic collapse to subjugate the populace. Those of us who had a visceral aversion to the Obama presidency felt the effects first, although of course the Bush cabal paved the way.
I seriously do not see the value of supporting or reforming either political party. The forces at play are IMO beyond control of either party.

Dances,
Are you talking to me? Why the impatience?
—————————–
No, I wasn’t addressing you. I was impatient because there were like four issueswith simple action suggestions floating around, and pumas were spending more time on which to do, when,for all the circular time involved, the actions could have been completed.
It was juts beyond repetitive, and I was thinking JUST DO IT.
Agree with your organization list.
I like the categories you listed, they’re applicable.
Beats taking some vague bureaucratic organizational chart and plastering it over an organization and forces the real life pieces in place.
BigCatLover 11.08.08 at 4:42 pm
Sorry, post-founding founder.

Marches will occur on January 17, 2009 to demonstrate to Obama and Congress

AniEm, I know. The people of the parties are generally good folks, it’s the politicians of the parties…they are villains to me. Corrupt and controlled and backward.
Have you already read this? Veddy interesante.

Draft of WTP full-page ad to be published in
USA TODAY the week of November 10, 2008//
=======
I find the ad distasteful. It amounts to an appeal to Obugger’s better nature and respect for the Constitution. Neither of which exist.
As a publicity effort it’s so-so, and conveys an indirect message that there is no legal remedy for his |faux| election.

http://www.grassfire.org/ good morning!! Will go there now.
Do you know anything about: grassfire.org? I can’t figure out if it’s just a petition site, political site, or what? It’s on the Drudge Report.
\\\
Pretty standard conservative political site. Not much there for PUMA Democrats, I’d guess, though I might be wrong.

GBPuma,
I was wondering that too. Since McCain conceded, does that mean that Bozo gets to be sworn in even if the actual votes determine that he doesn’t win the electoral college.//
=======
The concession has no legal standing. The Constitution is quite explicit about how the election is determined. He’d have to actually resign/drop out of the race for it to be ended.

That’s nonsense, of course. Absence of proof is not disproof, unless thorough, competent, and credible efforts have been made to obtain proof. “Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.”

kat, thanks for the link to American Thinker. It makes sense of it all. I think the politicians are nothing more than middlemen and women for financial powers around the world. They go thru the motions of being responsive to constituents but that’s about it. Nationalism is dead.

PUMA’s: There is a huge amount of helpful information about the birth certificate on FreeRepublic.com.
Many questions you voiced in this thread have been previously researched, and many answers have been posted.
And yes, as you know, it’s a very conservative website, but as I read your comments, we are still on the same team.
Obama is a corrupt fraud with a lot of friends in high places and an army of hypotized followers.
I’ve not been able to log on to FreeRepublic all day. I believe it got hacked. It would not be the first time.
But it hurts and scares me. It cuts off communication and renders a group helpless.
So, for the very same reason: HOW STRONG ARE YOUR FIREWALLS?
I have no doubt that the Obamabots are actively trying to shut down anybody who is organizing efforts to stand up against B.O.
