“So, this enormous and unprecedented turnout for Obama was only unprecedented for a Democrat. It amounted to 4.5 million more votes than John Kerry, and only 1.5 million more than Bush. The PUMA factor is being estimated at between 2.7 million and 2.9 million, and we must not forget the role of the much-investigated ACORN in registering all those new voters, some as many as 72 times each. As usual, stories of election fraud will be suppressed by the corporate media, since their favored candidate has won once again; but I suspect that ACORN contributed greatly to those surprising numbers in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida. In any case, the PUMA numbers were very close to matching the “massive turnout” numbers for Obama.”

taggles, exactly. Don’t want too much of a mommy and daddy government. These middle school kids who must volunteer 50 hours a week…is the government going to give them the rides to get where they have to go…or will MOM have to, I wonder.

I have two grandchildren, one 11 and one going to 13 next week. I don’t know how they could fit 50hrs. a week into their already overloaded schedules.

Also… does anyone off hand know the email address for Michele Bachmann. As a quick refresher — she is a congresswoman that we need more of. She was a great voice of reason against the bailout bill (both times). Yet when she said to Chris Matthews that she felt Obama was unAmerican in many of his views — Chris Matthews with the help of Pelosi contributed huge amounts of money to the campaign of her opponent. She survived and was re-elected by a 4 or 5% margin I believe. I would like to send her an email of support and let her know that even though I do not live in her district — I was following the results of her race and am very happy that she won another term.
Does anyone have her email handy?

Things for the weary mind:
Well I woke up this morning thinking this. I feel as if I have gone insane. Nothing reflects what I have been taught to believe about the foundations of our country. Unless… unless both parties are working together. They are joined at the hip only by their wallets (What’s in your wallet? Not much in mine, but I am comfortable). So we have elections every four or two years to distract what the real agenda is which is making sure both parties stay in power, one way or another, and to pass the laws that benefit them. So what if the republicans loose this time around. So what if they have to pay a bit more in taxes. It all works out when they pay less taxes the next time around. They won’t suffer at all, they won’t have to become uncomfortable.
I hear there will be viable third party next time around. The curtain has been pulled away exposing the wizard for us PUMAs. Those obots who have worked hard to get the wicked witch’s broom will come home to roost, and find that damn dog there chewing on the curtain edge. And then, viola, the wizard will expose himself to them and the chanting will start, and the great Oz will only be a short little dude with a big microphone. And just think, all of those people that the dems and the repubs signed up to vote, they will just tap their red ruby slippers and jump ship. We won’t have to do anything, but sign them up.
Ok, so I have a wild imagination. But somewhere in our universe there is a planet where people have learned to live free together. I just try to envision it being here with my mind, everyday.

I have something awful!
Maybe I should write a woman bashing book. The whole thing can be a focus on how hilarious women are for being 51% of the nation, but allowing all media (from video games–to internet porn–to billboards–to movies–to news, etc) depict them as worthless, weak, doormats, punching bags, and sex toys. 51% of the nation and still only hold a tiny percentage in the media and government. What a LAUGH! Brainwashed by media, by religion, by school, by e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. Hey stupid women out there in the world: YOU are the majority. lol…but shhhhhhhhhh, keep it a secret.

“I also want to insist on a 35% across the board pay and benefits cut for every elected official. Your irresponsibility has devastated the constituents and the country you profess to serve.
You have given us a defective governmental product and, as taxpayers, we are entitled to a refund, retroactive to when the Congress willfully neglected to provide correct oversight of Fannie and Freddie.”

I was wondering about her. Thanks for letting us know she won. I also would like to remind anyone who lives in MN about the recount of Al Franken. We need to make sure the votes are counted properly. This was posted on http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/
Atlas readers know the high regard I hold for Senator Norm Coleman. He ran a tight race against that human stain, the demented Al Franken. Frank lost, but like all libtards, refuses to bow out and instead is torturing the electorate.
Coleman needs our help. Please. The Republican Jewish Coalition has sent out this alert. Coleman is a wonderful friend and supporter of Israel (as is Saxby Chambliss – that was a great win for us).
Norm Coleman – Recount Volunteer Opportunities
Senator Coleman needs your help immediately!
I am sure you have heard the news already that Senator Norm Coleman has a very tight lead in his race against Al Franken. Because the race was so close, by state law there must be a recount. Team Coleman is in URGENT need of volunteers to serve at precincts throughout Minnesota to observe the recount process. It’s imperative they locate 150-200 people who can take personal time from their respective jobs and lives and be deployed on behalf of Senator Coleman.
If you live in Minnesota, they need your help! If you live outside of Minnesota and are willing to come to Minnesota to help they also need your help!! The Coleman campaign must work through the recount process successfully and be sure Senator Coleman is properly represented. Deployed representatives can expect proper reimbursement and handling of travel expenses. More details are forthcoming later today.
Team Coleman will also need funding for the recount effort. In addition to all other contributions, individuals will be able to donate $2,300 per person or $5,000 PAC. More to come on this effort.
If you or those you know can take the time to volunteer and be deployed around Minnesota to represent Senator Coleman in this pivotal recount, please contact Tom McGill at 651-434-9735 or by email tmcgill@colemanforsenate.com.

Cannonfire is one of my favorite things right now.
Earlier today, we took note of the unnerving similarities between W and O. One observer begs to differ. From a comment on Politico:
The Obama team is far from the Bush/Rove team… one example is that they are INTELLEGENT!
Believe it or not, this is the second time in as many days that I’ve seen an Obot spell that word incorrectly. Longstanding blog tradition holds that Bush supporters are “MORANS.” Perhaps we should start calling O-folk “INTELLEGENT”?
(My favorite line from The Producers: “Ja, you see, dis is an example of der Schmartness…”)

Please don’t worry so much. There’s still not a better country to be in (except maybe some posh European Union one…hahaha). Hillary is going to be in power too. I went to her speech and she rigorously encouraged her supporters to vote for him. I hate to see you upset, and I wanted to present the following….
Please consider this. I am thrilled about this. I am thrilled about how so many young people showed up in droves, finally feeling like they have a stake in politics. Consider this too. I have a beautiful, brilliant African-American student in one of my labs…..if you could have seen her face Ash…she was so happy. So many people in academia are thrilled. I am in NYC because Bush cut science funding for the NIH which shaved my husbands grant (and many other people’s grants) off the list. Obama wants to INCREASE America’s investment in science. That is such a good thing. Horst and I aren’t really getting along right now, but he’s a damn good scientist. Let me describe his research briefly.
Malaria is one of the top killers of children in third world countries. It kills millions of children in sub-saharan Africa and in India every year. There is no vaccine, because it is a protozoan parasite that infects blood. It is carried by Anopheles mosquitoes. Currently, the US is safe from malaria, because the mosquito’s range is inhibited by climate. But the climate is changing, and Anopheles mosquitoes are being seen in wider and wider ranges. DDT was a pretty good agent for vector control, but it harmed so many non-target organisms and disrupted ecosystems and was therefore pretty much banned. Horst studies the way that these insects digest food in their larval stage (when they are fully aquatic). The hope is that vector control of the disease can be established that is very specifically targeted (not harmful to OTHER organisms) because the mechanisms by which the mid-gut of the larval anopheles mosquito become alkaline enough to digest food are unique to this organism. Horst studies the electrophysiology of the larval mosquitoes. Other scientists study the organic chemistry that may be useful to the development of such an agent. If either of these lines of research are closed, they may never intersect. (Horst resubmitted his research proposal, and got his grant…but it was too late, he had already accepted the job here). In Obama’s book that I read, he expressed a real commitment to strengthening science in this country. It gave me hope. I am hopeful that my students won’t step into the same world where indifference toward biology outside of pharmaceutical companies was all that I encountered in job seeking. That the things they are working so hard to learn will matter and benefit humanity and ecosystems.
What I am trying to say is that there are so many hopeful aspects about this situation. People in Africa were crying tears of hope and joy. The world loves us again, like they did during 9/11. Maybe we won’t blow it this time. Maybe, just maybe, it’s a step towards peace.
I love you. I am trying to encourage you, and not diss you. I hate to think of you unhappy….
She is just so naive, innocent, and idealistic and I am such a cynic.

kat in your hat: Yeah women are the majority. And it is true almost all depictions of women come through the distorted vision of males. Almost all channels on the TV line up are aimed at males and males like the “Men’s channels” Women do not watch the “Women’s content” channels because they are just a bunch of crap that has women in it punctuated every 5 mins with some idiot bitch prancing around in her underwear for a commercial. Hell they can’t even make a commercial that women will sit through. You have pornography defining women’s sexuality from the hertero male side and fashion defining female sexuality from the gay male side. And no matter which type of male is depicting us gay or straight the depictions are relative to their own needs and fears and have nothing to do with women. Then you have the females that are allowed on the media who act like they are doing some bizarre kabuki because every move they make is calculated to appeal to males.

I am not sure of what has gone on at Puma today, but the news is weirding me out. It is like what happened for two years never happened, and THAT ONE is GOD and we are all in great shape.
The single thing that scares and maddens me the most is when I read PUMA people or conservatives SPINNING what has happened and what will happen. BO will never be a good thing. NEVER. NEVER. Kids voted because they thought it was kool, not because of the history behind the right to vote, what it means to have this right (and what it means to NOT have this right) and how important excersizing this right is). Kids voted AGAINST THE OLD WOMAN OR OLD MAN, and for the cool young black hip dude (THEIR WORDS, NOT MINE).
Gays and Lesbians through women under the bus, showed their woman hating ways, and went BO. Women, for the most part, gave in to the woman hating culture that we have been indoctrinated in and went BO. JEEZUS even Latinos went 76% BO. We were lost before we even started….
Hillary, and those who supported her, were treated in a way blacks SHOULD have recognized and stood up AGAINST, and instead they participated and enjoyed (for the most part) the misogyny. ACORN, paid for by BO and the DEMS, destroyed democracy and will suffer not one minute and instead will enjoy their money and the victory laughing at us all the time. Rev. Wright will live in his million dollar FREE home and god damn us until he croaks. Rev. Pflegger will parody Hillary, and all women, and whites and be propped up by the CATHOLIC CHURCH and blacks as a man of GOD and a great mentor to boot. Rev. Farrakhan will REVEL in his greatness and his evil knowing that the bad is beating good’s ass.
And as Rome burns, the heathens will drug, drink, and fornicate thinking they have won something while all the time losing what precious little we have left of the good God gave us. And the few of us who have the intelligence to see this, and the courage to try to deal with, we will suffer. I suffer every second knowing that evil men will now control this county and that WOMEN (hillary esp) helped get them there. I suffer every second knowing that the truth is pretty much dead. I suffer every second knowing that nothing I did made a damn bit of difference. I suffer every minute knowing that Hitler took over using this same route, the same words, the same youth, the same everything…
I am not sure what is going on in PUMA, but I hope we can regroup because I have no home in America and most of my friends live only in my heart here at PUMA…

Don’t know about the rest of you, but I am searching for a viable Independent Party. The Dems won’t reform, they think they won. The Repubs won’t reform; they pooped out on us by not voting and want to revive their conservative base. I just want a reasonable moderate party that wants what is best for our country. Maybe election reform is something we need to fight for?

All we need is to figure out how to take the money away from them and make them work for a living like everyone else.
My basic understanding of the difference between socialism and communism is that socialism is accepted by choice, and communism is socialism forced on the people.
I think that explains Ayer’s influence. They know we wont accept socialism, so they want a civilian military force.
If we want to preserve our country we may need to think outside the ‘impeachment’ box, which has never worked anyway.

snowtiger007 11.06.08 at 7:27 pm
What I believe happened.
I believe that Karl Rove set the democratic party up and knocked them down in a manner that would make Machivelli envious.
I have been thinking about this ever since Murphy posted the paper by Brazille on “Why America Hates Democrats”.
My thoughts crystallized today when a fellow I know told me that 28% of conservatives voted for “O”.
The paper by Brazille made the argument that the Democratic party needed to find a candidate that was “young, relatively unknown, could energize the African American base and would appeal to a broad range of people.
They found Obamam.
Now, who helped Brazile with this paper?
Karl Rove.
Why would Rove do anything to help the Democratic party? Simply put he wouldn’t.
Rove knew that the greatest threat to the Republican party was the movement towards the center represented by Hillary Clinton. He well remembers what Bill Clinton did to republicans.
What would be the best thing for the Republican party?
A democratic party controlled by the far left wing.
Karl Rove made devils alliance with Brazille to help her get an extremist agenda in place. The creation of that placement would require that moderate and centrist democrats be dis enfranchised by the far left. By ant means necessary. Leaving the far left in total control.
The left was more than happy to cooperate since the movement towards the center by the democratic party would make them irrelevant.
Once in place it would fail miserably.
The end result will be infighting by the remaining elements of the democratic party as each will inevitably blame the others for the predictable disaster.
Those centrist and moderate democrats would be left to try and re-create a political movement that would have nothing in common with the existing democratic party.
The far left would use every means at its disposal to maintain their ill gotten power ensuring that moderates and centrists would never return.
It was brilliant. And it worked.

the differences between obama´s communism and any contemporary european socialist parties is that if this parties would have said what obama said:militia, indoctrination , spread of wealth etc thay would not get not even 10% of the votes
by the way, the american constitution was thought by its very nature that the 2 houses will never fall with the same party, because if not it would be the end of checks and balences, it would lean to a dictatorship, and that is what is about to happen

“When you choose to serve — whether it’s your nation, your community or simply your neighborhood — you are connected to that fundamental American ideal that we want life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness not just for ourselves, but for all Americans. That’s why it’s called the American dream.”
The Obama Administration will call on Americans to serve in order to meet the nation’s challenges. President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in underserved schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.

Hello. I don’t think it is going to be too long before Obama’s true agenda starts to appear. It is already peaking through. I heard that the Congressional black caucus, mainly Rep. Lewis, was upset that he didn’t pick an AA Chief of Staff. Welcome to the real Obama Rep. Lewis.
I was listening to Rush Limbaugh this afternoon, and he played some clips of Charlie Rose with Brokaw. They were talking about Saul Alinsky, Obama’s cult following and it being creepy, how he hasn’t been vetted and we don’t know much about him, how he’s the first to make his family get off the stage before his acceptance speech so he can how the adoring spotlight, etc. Excuse me? The media has known all along about the mystery of Obama and the danger he is to this country. Now they are starting to talk about it? It’s a little too late, isn’t it.
Rush said that you can hear fear in their voices. He said that they sound like they have seen this before with Obama and that they don’t know or are fearful of what is to come with his Presidency. God help us.

There will be no community service, we have created a lazy do nothing society, a world full of bitchers and moaners, the dems need to keep them lazy and dependent, Obama will force them into nothing, he won’t risk the votes.

I hate to see everyone here so very sad about gay marriage. It seems to me it’s a privacy issue, but courts don’t see it that way. Perhaps it should be a freedom of religion issue as the Episcopal Church, the left wing of Judaism and Unitarians support it.
Anyway, I would expect the 9th Circuit Court will take gay marriage to the Supreme Court. Barry needs to be able to replace one of the 4 of the legion of doom (Scalia, Thomas, Alito, Roberts) for gay marriage to be upheld by the Supreme Court.
Here are some popular names for Barry’s supreme court picks:
Elana Kagan – Dean of Harvard Law
Kathleen Sulivan – Former Dean of Stanford Law
Merrick Garland – Justice of the DC Circuit Court
Cass Sunstein – Professor at Harvard Law
Diane Wood – Justice of the 7th Circuit
Stevens is 88 and will likely step down. Souter has been rumored to want
to resign since Bush v. Gore. Replacing those two would keep the Court
more or less in its current ideological shape, since they are both liberal
justices. If for some reason Scalia, Thomas, Alito, or Roberts dies or
steps down while Barry is in office (more likely with Scalia or Thomas
than the other two since they are older, but Roberts does have health
problems), the liberal justices will have a commanding majority.
So, Barry is beyond redemption for all the bad things he has done, but something good may happen for our GLBT friends and family members.

jenniforhillary….. I understand your post and your feelings.
I didn’t sleep for 4 days before the election. I was so tense, so stressed.
My husband and I voted. I was insanely calm. I knew we were going to lose. The people had all of the facts before them.
Being friends with terrorists,and a weird, racist, black minister.
They knew he was involved in less than legal dealings in Chicago. They knew he was inexperienced, that he had no business even running for President. That he could destroy
our world.
They still voted for him. I know there was fraud; there always is. I am ashamed of the American people; that they could fall for this empty talking suit. I understand the young. They thought he was “cool”. They don’t have a clue about the things he will do.
My husband and I didn’t talk about it yesterday. He took my McCain/Palin signs down for me.. He worked outside today.
I feel numb… like there is nothing left of me..
Did you ever see such a God awful looking dress in your life?
We saw it on the front page of the paper. I told Tom that I thought Halloween was over.
As for Governor Sarah Palin: I am so sorry you had to take the bashing you did. It did make you stronger, and now you know what to expect. I don’t believe we have heard the end of this fabulous, brilliant, honest woman..

Hey Pumas, It’s good to be back.
Here’s some info that I find interesting.
All Things Considered, November 10, 2006 · This week, Michigan became the third state to ban affirmative action in the public arena based on race, gender, and ethnic status. It follows California and Washington.
Michigan voters passed the ballot initiative by a wide margin.
Ya know I’ve been thinking ( which my husband Say’s sometimes is dangerous) Wouldn’t it be easy to abolish Affirmative Action now that this Country has a AA President? 3 states have already done so,and I’m wondering WHY?

Murphy I just wish I could bury my head in you and cry my eyes out. I just wish you could bury your head in me and cry your eyes out while I cry mine out. I am so f*ing dead. I just wander around in circles. dead inside except for the crying.
I love you Murphy. We all love you. We will pull out of this. It is good to grieve for days. It shows how deeply we love. for grieving comes from the loss of what we love so dear. Eventually we will grieve the loss of the entire world and then we will stand alone and we shall then find happiness and bliss because we will have found god inside of us and know that the world is but nothing.
But we have not lost each other. We have the love we share between us. All us PUMA. We love each other like twin sisters. We are the love the world has waited for. Each day as we get up for the new day we look inside ourself and say:
I feel love flowing inside of me. I am wonderful because god made me to experience love inside of me. I am loveable because I am able to love. God has made me ONE with Him who is Love. The love I feel inside of me is God. I experience God inside of me because God made me to experience him inside of me. I will stop looking for happiness in the world for it can never be found in the world. I will always find happiness inside of me because that is where God resides.
I am eternal and therefore the ONLY thing that can bring me eternal happiness must also be eternal. The world is always changing and is definitely not eternal. But all Love is eternal.

Few know it today, but Chicago was the birthplace of a powerful grassroots social movement that changed political activism in this country. “Community Organizing” was pioneered in Chicago’s old stockyards neighborhood by the soberly realistic, unabashedly radical Saul Alinsky.

End Racial Profiling
Obama and Biden will ban racial profiling by federal law enforcement agencies and provide federal incentives to state and local police departments to prohibit the practice.
Now don’t get me wrong no one should be targeted because of their skin color but by pushing this what is gonna stop every person pulled over or arrested not playing the racial profiling card.

Michigan banned affimative action because two brave girls took it all the way to the supreme court. They applied to U of M, they had stellar grades and were michigan residents, they were turned down and wanted to know why. Being michiganders they should have already had one leg up, they wanted to know the reasons for their denial into the university. The girls were told that although they were Michigan residents with tremendous grades the university needed to fill their quota of minority students, so the girls embarked on a journey that took them to the supreme court, it ended up being a ballot initiative and it passed. If I remember correctly I think it passed overwhemingly.

First and foremost i wanted to say thank your to everyone. I was disheartened by this election and more importantly this whole process. I am a political junkie that grew up watching Reagan and Bush one. Served in the military during the Clinton and Bush administrations. I admired what both of them done. I usually vote the party that is most strong on the miltary and have watched with utter shock the way the Democrat party thru Hillary out. It never made sense to me but now i am hoping i am welcomed here by all of you folks.
A few things that concern me like most of you is the following. Obama has his clones which will be using intimidation in the next couple of years. What i mean by this is what are we going to do when he wants to pass some bill we all feel opposed to when his clones which number close to 1.3 million and will be using the internet and email for intimidation of our elected officials. What are we going to be able to do to stop this. He has used these members to pressure Pelosi and Reed and i am sure he will use these people to lean on other Congressional members.
The article the other member wrote about Karl Rove and Brazzile it very telling. I believe that the best thing for this party would be a viable third centralist party and makes me wonder if Rove spelled this whole thing out. Why on earth would this matter to these two people well that is simple. Money and power. When you have a stanglehold on people in other words there are only two groups that can provide voices for thepeople what are we to do. I am currently here in England and no i dont like the socialism you see here but one this for sure is there is around 4-5 viable parties. In order for legislation to get passed you most put together a group of members and usually it is accross parties. Wonder what that would be like for us here in the states?
Anyhow i would like to say hello to everyone and am here to do what ever i can to help your cause. thanks and god bless all.

50 community hours? Total? That’s not so bad at all. I think it’s a great idea. Many of these kids are so self absorbed, they need to learn how to get off their ass and sweat a little and do something for somebody else for a change.
My daughter goes to a private school, and she’s required to do community service each year. Yes, it’s required.
8th grade – 10 hrs
9th grade – 15 hrs
10th grade – 20 hrs
11th grade – 25 hrs
12th grade – 30 hrs
Total Hours = 100 hrs

And you know what makes me the saddest, and yes I admit it I am sobbing in bed because I just can’t take it anymore is HILLARY sold us out. She stopped fighting and SHE and SHE ALONE COULD HAVE WON THIS FOR US, FOR AMERICA, and for all that is good and holy.
In Denver, all she had to do was walk to ANY of the live microphones, grab it and say HEY, this girl is in it to win it. And state the truth. She is one of the richest most powerful smartest women in the world…and she let us down. As much as it is KILLING me to say it she let us down big time. She is the person in that poem about standing up so NOW before there is no one to stand for you. She is the person that says FIGHT and then leaves you stranded. She is the heart breaker and SHE and SHE ALONE.
Sure, the evil men and women plotted, planned, and are reveling in their deeds, but HILLARY is the only one who had the power. and she did not use it. and I DON”T GIVE A DAMN WHAT anyone says but HILLARY did wrong….If I had been in Denver I would have crawled, I would have dragged my broken body across that stage and grabbed that mike and SCREAMED with every breath left in my body NOOOOOOOOOO.
As a side note, even Nelson Mandela drinks the kool aid…he loves BO and says he is a great man. Maybe so, but Nelson that means a great man is one stinking pile of shit than….
I wish I could go somewhere for the next year and not have to think or hear one thing about this debacle. I don’t know if I can suffer the millions of indignities that will be coming our way…..
I wish PUMA was a place in real time, not just on the internet. This is where I would want to be for a while…a long long while..

Snowtiger,
Sorry if I was unclear, I think an independent investigation of the all of the election shenanagans is warranted.Voter fraud is a legitimate issue which extends beyond the DNC. So that is a separate issue. Perhaps the DNC could be investigated separately as part of the a journalistic or documentary investigation. There has to be accountability somewhere.
tennaseepuma 11.06.08 at 8:27 pm
My favorite example is always Nazi Germany because so many people forget that it was a socialist dictatorship. Or perhaps they’re ignorant of the fact that the Nazi’s official and frequently forgotten name was the National Socialist German Worker’s Party. In other words, while most people consider the Nazi party to be a totalitarian ideology arising from the right, it was, in fact, a totalitarian party arising from the left.
Practically within minutes of the Nazi takeover of the German government, individuals were subordinated to the state. Even industries that remained privately owned (and there were many, as opponents of the Nazis = socialist theory like to point out), were allowed to do so only if their owners bent their efforts to the benefit of the state. Show a hint of individualism, and an unwillingness to cooperate, and you’d swiftly find yourself in Dachau, with a government operative sitting in that executive chair you once owned.
We all know what life was like in this Nazi socialist state. Citizens immediately lost the right to bear arms; thought crimes were punished with imprisonment and death; children were indoctrinated into giving their allegiance to the state, not the family; the government dictated the way in which people could live their day-to-day lives; and people who appeared to be outliers to the harmony of the conscienceless government entity (gays, mentally ill-people, physically handicapped people, Jews, gypsies) were dehumanized and eventually slaughtered.

webfoot 11.06.08 at 8:25 pm
Oh, and I saw Oprah interviewed on t.v. on election night. She said that she was registering drug addicts and drunks; she didn’t care just as long as they voted for BO.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Really? That women has some nerve. That is something to be proud of.
jenniforhillary 11.06.08 at 8:29 pm
Dances….
Hillary and Bill for two years told everyone and their brother that BO was a danger to this country (and every other thing we have discussed in great detail here at PUMA), and she promised us SHE WOULD NEVER STOP FIGTHING FOR THE LIL’ PEOPLE…
well, she broke her promise. And she knows that they didn’t play fair, he didn’t win, and they stole votes, etc., etc. It would be different if he won, but he didn’t.
so, all she did was cave in and support undemocratic anti-american voter fraud, vote suppression, and now we get BO….
I am getting my money back, and when I feel good enough I will going to washington to meet in person with Hillary to ask her HOW she could have done it..
AND FOR THE RECORD I loved her as much as anyone here….maybe more…and maybe that is why it hurts so much…
if I am not allowed to say this here, I will write it in my personal diary. But if PUMA will not face what really happened, how can we win the next time?
…When will we the American people realized that it is not about “Gay Right”, “Women’s Rights”, etc etc…that it is simply about HUMAN RIGHTS and act like it and vote like it!!???????
———————–
Great thought.
And, one reason for not thinking of it that way might be that when an umbrella term is used, some classes of HUMANS are overlooked and remain invisible. So for me, at this point, it is all about Women’s Rights, all women, but women.
I work at the Command Post here in England and we routinely receive phone calls from local people complaining about Air Plane noise. Get this. Tonight i received a call from an elderly lady wanting to make a complaint. I said please give me the details. She said “I know you are flying your Air Force planes around in celebration of your new savior and almighty new President. We here in the rest of the world can sleep easy because all is saved and we will all be taken care of with Obama in your White HOuse. Anyhow please tell your Commander to land the planes and quit the celebration.”
I followed it up with “Well maam, there are 55 million other people that voted against this individual and contrary to what you BBC media and the American media tells you not all Americans view this man as the MESSIAH like you all do.”
Amazing that people think this guy is like a God or something.
i support gay marriage just out simple respect and empathy
how many homosexual have a long love life and at the end all that they they have constructed together in the case that one dies he / she can not the use the widowhood benefits , and some many other similar things that they are deprived
i am not hung up on words and semantics ,language is a living thing and is in a constant change, therefore marriage is good term
in regards to palin i get the feeling that she does not undrestand it, or her religiosity unable her to see any other way, but i think she would be respectfull with the issue
kat-I don’t remember the t.v. station. I was flipping through channels. Oprah was beaming. She said that they were asking people how long they had been out of detox and then just got to the point where they said, “never mind.” She also commented that it was the first time some of these people had ever voted. Oprah comes in on the NBC affliate in our area so I would guess an NBC person interviewed her. They asked her how she felt “launching” the next president of the U.S. I turned to another channel at that point. Apparently Oprah gets to choose our president. Maybe I should write to her and ask her for some “redistribution of wealth.”
I am still freaked out about that red/black symbolism of the Obama attire on Tues.night. That means that they are now openly stating that they intend to follow their orignial goals re: Black Liberation Theology, “God Damn America”, etc.
I was so upset this afternoon that I lay down for a nap, dreamed of an old love. I had to go a long way back to find him; too bad that I can’t sleep and dream through the next few years.
The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
50 community hours? Total? That’s not so bad at all. I think it’s a great idea. Many of these kids are so self absorbed, they need to learn how to get off their ass and sweat a little and do something for somebody else for a change.
My daughter goes to a private school, and she’s required to do community service each year. Yes, it’s required.
8th grade – 10 hrs
9th grade – 15 hrs
10th grade – 20 hrs
11th grade – 25 hrs
12th grade – 30 hrs
Total Hours = 100 hrs
_______________________________________________________________________
Mick I just ate.
Fine you got your kid in a private school. You pay for it and they require you to send your child out and do “community service” wtf ever that may be, You have the right to take your kid out and send them someplace else.
Average citizens DO NOT.
They will have their children ordered by the state to engage in “community service” as defined by the state or presumably be punished,
Do you see the difference?
dew 11.06.08 at 8:51 pm
Hi PUMAs
Just catching up on today’s posts. Two thoughts:
1. I have 4 boys, a yours, mine and ours situation. Occasionally (truly only occasionally) a squabble would break out. My standard response was “If you can’t be nice to each other, just who in this world do you think will be nice to you!” To this day the oldest 3 (28, 26 and 24) remind each other of that. so I say to you PUMAs – if we cannot be nice and civil to each other here where will it happen. Not out in the big bad world! So play nicely with others.
2. This is catching up from downstairs. I think marriage should be a religious institution. You want to be married go to church, chapel, synagogue. Your union can then be registered with the government. Sorta like filing a contract with the court. Take the whole religious, bible thing out of the government. Your church doesn’t want to have gay marriages, fine someone else will and it all has nothing to do with the government. And by the way, since this union is contractual, you must be an adult (18) as you would be for any other contract. So there!
This is part of a letter I received from Hillary today:
Dear Xxxxxxx,
We did it! In this incredible year, we have changed our politics, our country and our nation! And I could not be more proud or more grateful to you for sharing this journey with me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for everything you have done, for me, for Barack Obama, and for all our Democratic candidates, to make these successes possible.
I know that President-Elect Barack Obama will lead our country in the new direction we need. And with the great success of our House and Senate candidates, we can make our agenda a reality.
But make no mistake — our work is not done! I will be doing everything I can in the Senate, working closely with the White House on the goals you and I set out. With President Obama and our strengthened majorities in Congress, we can get our economy back on track. We’re going to make sure every man, woman, and child in America has health care. With smart, effective new policies, we will move toward energy independence and create millions of new green jobs. And we’re finally going to bring the war in Iraq to a responsible close and reestablish America’s relations with our allies around the world. Here is my reply:
Dear Hillary you are most welcome for all the things I have done for YOU, but I have done absolutely nothing for Barack, on the contrary ,I did more to defeat him then I did to get you elected. I feel so bad today I keep hoping I will awake and this will be a really bad night mare, I am so scared for our Country I will NEVER EVER acknowledge Barack as president of this great country, I just wish you had stayed with your supporters like you promised.
Sincerely
X.Xxxxxx
I don’t think Joe Lieberman owes a damn thing to the Dems. They didn’t support him before, he got elected on his own, Obama strongarmed him during the primaries (one of the few times BO showed up for his day job). The Dem Senate has used Lieberman to keep their majority. So if they no longer him, I hope CT still does, or that he switches to Repub. I expect that JL foresaw the consequences of his supporting McCain and will expect Repubs to help him retain his seat.
airforcehusker 11.06.08 at 9:06 pm
I am curious about a voting question. A friend of mine here at work called his mother in Ohio on election day. He lives in one of the northern counties of Ohio in a smaller city. The interesting thing he said was his parents mentioned to him about how when they showed up to vote there was a large group of African Americans getting off of buses. What they felt weird about was that rarely do you see African Americans in this community it is prodominantly white with a few hispanic but no other major nationalities. The other thing they thought was weird was why the need for the buses in this smaller the normal city for these people to arrive to vote?
Has anyone else heard of these kinds of stories.
I heard today that Obama is setting up his cabinet in record time. Interesting. Now how do you suppose he is doing that? Just like the campaign, it is all being done for him. He is the Ronald Reagan of the DNC, the actor, the face, the body selected to run the country according to their blueprint, the front man for a behind the scenes committee. He is on a tight leash, and Rham Emmanuel is the one holding it. Rham is thetered to Dean, Pelosi, and other behind the scenes shadow characters.
In some ways this is encouraging to me. On the surface it would appear that Obama has sold his soul to the DNC. Honestly, I would rather they be in charge than Bill Ayers and company, but not by much.
Now on a lighter note, I saw some celebrity news today right in the middle of the day! Ms. Brittany Spears is dating an old flame! Why mention that piece of trival news here? Because the celebrity of Obama is fading. Within a week he will be hard news, and lots of people will stop fauning over him. Now the grunt work begins, and that is boring to all those just past tenney boppers who have elected him.
I talked today with some major contributors to the republican party. I decided to test a theory.
I told them we , PUMA had evidence of 500,00 questionable ballots.
The told me leave it alone and just move on.
One of the reasons I wrote the post about Rove you referenced.
People, am feeling pretty thin-skinned this week. I want to say thanks to everyone who has posted constructive & positive comments here, and especially Snowtiger I notice hasn’t lost his sense of humor (go, Snow)!
I don’t really feel like being flamed for a comment supporting the best candidate for President our country had this election year (like yesterday someone dissed my post for no real reason), so I’m gonna go make dinner now.
On Hannity they are talking about whether Lieberman will be stripped of his chairmanship in retaliation for supporting McCain. The democrat spokeman (Evan Bayh) said ‘No, he just got caught up in themoment and he should be forgiven’. Translation: they did not get their 60 vote majority in the Senate and they still need Joe to vote with them. Joe seems to live a charmed political life.
See it is funny you say that about the 500,000 questionable ballots. My theory has always been that the Republican party wanted to see Obama win the White House do to the cyclical cycle of the economic downturn we are in. All economies go thru bad periods and it is better for liberals to have a down economy to pass government handouts and program as compared to a conservative in the white house. It would make sense. Rove is no idiot compared to what many Libs what him to be. The man is a genious and is very capable of seeing trends in politics and americans. He sees something and we just need to put the pieces together.
Another interesting thought about elections. Offut AFb in Nebraska has a ton of my friends. Most are center right in politics but all are open and research issues and candidates. Now obama has already won the white house but i find it interesting that they are telling me you see litereally no yard signs or open support for obama. McCain won the 2nd district by something like 5000 votes but low and behold 12,000 missing ballots where found in a basement of a polling place in Douglas County.
My question is why would these be missing, where did they come from and who found them. Also why the need to get obama 1 more electoral vote. The whole thing seems weird. I am hearing other things out in northern california. McCain signs all over the place no open obama support but yer he wins the counties votes. Doesnt make sense
hillstheone 11.06.08 at 9:18 pm
snowtiger, I’ve no doubt in my mind Karl Rove masterminded some of the strategies in the Obama camp. If he’d really wanted to make the GOP win this election cycle, it wouldn’ta been that hard w/the PUMA’s even helping.
I need to go fix dinner now but whilst I saute the veggies & fried rice I’ll be pondering our 3rd PARTY idea once again!
Heneri 11.06.08 at 9:19 pm
Yes, we have all heard of this. It happened over and over in the primaries. It started with the first caucuses in Iowa. These were plants. Did your friend’s parents get a license plate number or anything they could trace? The Obama campaign brings in people from inner cities, some out of state people even for the primaries, and registers them to vote in predominantly white areas. Some have false ID and addresses. Some are registered in multiple precints. They vote and vote and vote, all day long.
What your friend saw was likely voter fraud right in broad daylight.
********************************************************
airforcehusker 11.06.08 at 9:06 pm
I am curious about a voting question. A friend of mine here at work called his mother in Ohio on election day. He lives in one of the northern counties of Ohio in a smaller city. The interesting thing he said was his parents mentioned to him about how when they showed up to vote there was a large group of African Americans getting off of buses. What they felt weird about was that rarely do you see African Americans in this community it is prodominantly white with a few hispanic but no other major nationalities. The other thing they thought was weird was why the need for the buses in this smaller the normal city for these people to arrive to vote?
Has anyone else heard of these kinds of stories.
My gut instincts tell me there was MASSIVE voter fraud on the part of Obama to beat McCain. Especially in all of the swing states, & other places as well. I believe it was unprecedented in the History of the U.S. what took place this election cycle in terms of FRAUD.
Just tell me what’s worse, airforcehusker:
* Obama’s massive Voter Fraud (& Caucus Fraud preceding that)
OR
* The Media blackout about it?
I don’t know. But I remember certain teachers like that in elementary school, and junior high…and college was heavy duty liberal. Things always got into political-social issues: English class–somehow we wound up writing papers on the good things about Cuba. Philosophy class–again, the decency of communism. One sociology course was strictly on Karl Marx for the entire semester, even though that wasn’t what the class was really on.
You know…on and on. And LOTS of politically correct speaking, and you KNEW if you wanted a good grade that you needed to write something sort of radical. Anyway, that’s my experience.
I am sorry, it isn’t going to self correct. I would advise all Pumas to take whatever actions needed for survival as we are headed for a Depression, not a recession. I am a realist. With this election the dems have finished what the republican right has started. Neither party has realized yet that the people they have kicked to the curb are two thirds of the economy. GOt this a team Sarah.
Does anyone actually listen to Oprah? Is she doing this?
I am a Democrat who has been very much impressed with Sarah Palin having the privilege of working her rallies in recent months. First Hillary (who has been thrown under the bus by Obama) and now Sarah? Even Oprah has announced that she is taking her show into the political realm to promote Obama’s left wing policies now that the election is over. Oprah plans to begin by having Tina from SNL on her show to bash Palin once again. TIME TO REACT LADIES! We PUMA’s shut down Chris Matthews with our emails and calls to both sponsors and to the station.
Contact all media outlets from CNN, MSNBC, FOX, too, ABC etc. one by one and express your dissatisfaction for any negative reporting about Sarah Palin. Tell them you will turn them off! Email the Oprah show and tell her we do not need to see more of Tina bashing Palin and more politics as we get that daily on the news and SNL? I have contacted the Just Say No Deal Coalition or the lead site of Puma’s and its time to merge our interests. There is power in numbers and there is only one reason for what is happening–they want to cut any future off for Sarah Palin leaving the way for 8 years of Pelosi, Dean and the Gang of Merry Chicago politicians and DNC leaders. Given the remarks of Emmanuel, the new Sec. of State, we may see him following Obama. This is delibert, I have had ENOUGH! I have had one nights sleep after 1.5 years fighting for Hillary, the many women who won Congressional seats throughout the country and Sarah Palin. I am rested and will be blasting all media outlets, writing editorials to the newspapers in Virginia and DC. Who is with me? I am hitting the blogs asking that X-Hillary supporters join Team Sarah regardless of their views on abortion, color, party or creed. The National Organization of Women is in the Obama Camp with Ellie Smeal from Ms. Magazine and is losing membership as a result of their narrow view of what it means to be a feminist. I remain in that organization only due to the fact that Kim Gandy is leaving as President and I will join the NY coalition to become a rebel from within with the goal of having my dues protect and support ALL women.
LET’S GO GIRLS! I’m on the PC emailing Cafferty of the Cafferty File about his stupid polling over Palin?
Bigcatlover:
If Byah had a viable third party he would bolt from the Democratic party just like Lieberman, he just does not want to go it alone. He is very angry about the MI and FL mess, does not like Obama, and has always been a centrist. He is genuine friends with the other Indiana senator, Richard Lugar.
I know I sound like a broken record, but if SOMEBODY builds a viable third party, these two honorable men will probably join. They might even be willing to help build the party if someone like Lynn Forester de Rothschild is the builder of the new centrist party.
I saw today that there were a number of races for house and senate seats where a third party candidate got between 15% and 20% of the votes. That is without party backing and against the two mega party candidates! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a trend going here, and I think it will grow. The nation has started to visualize the value of scaling down the influence of the two cabals. This election may push us through the door to a more equitable election process after all.
A third viable party would be wonderful. The needs to be more accountability and only having two parties isnt doing it. The problem is you sort of have two wackjob parties. Nadar and bob barr this time. I am a libertarian at heart but dont believe for a second there is a voice out there. I think and maybe we lost our opportunity but Ross Perot for all his faults back in 1992 had a chance to build a viable third party but somehow he blew it in the end.
Now that we have elected our first African American president, I am looking forward to seeing to who he will appoint to his cabinet. I specifically wonder if women, who comprise 51% of the population in the United States will be appropriately represented. It seems as if the Democratic Party could not see fit to nominate a woman for president. However, one should be able to expect that in this era of hope and change that an Obama cabinet would be at least half female.
I look forward to your ongoing coverage of these appointments.
Pookie 11.06.08 at 9:36 pm
Sounds like Glenn Beck is falling in line
GLENN: The birth certificate, Joe, went through the court system! It was rejected! Now let’s move off the hearsay. Would we also like to talk to all the people that say the United States and George Bush killed all the people in the levees, that he was planning to blow up the levees? Let’s move off the conspiracy theories! Let’s talk about the facts, and the facts are, Joe, that he is the American President and anyone who doesn’t accept him as the President of the United States is pure and simple un-American. That does not mean that you accept everything he does. That does not mean that you sell out your values. That doesn’t mean that you don’t fight for the Constitution and fight for what you believe in, but he is the President of the United States and if you believe in this system, then you are required, you are required to accept him as the President of the United States, period, and you support him in every way possible because we — a house divided will not stand.
CALLER: Take a breath there, Glenn. The little veins are standing out on your forehead. Are you still with me?
GLENN: Oh, I’m with you, Joe.
CALLER: Okay, all right. You said that the courts rejected the birth certificate thing, correct? And so therefore it’s a moot point. We need to move on.
GLENN: Get off my phone! I can’t take somebody who keeps going back to the birth certificate! Oh!
I swear to you, I told my wife the other day, there’s no place for us to go. There’s no place for us to go. The people on the left hate my guts. The people on the right hate my guts. I’m an enemy to everybody on planet Earth. Why? Because I believe in the Constitution, because I’m not going to pick up arms against the guy who was rightfully elected the President of the United States because I say give the man the benefit of the doubt. Let the man rule and let’s fight him the way Americans fight, in the ballot box, not on the streets, not through smears.
Look, we made good cases. We made the best case we could. The American people did not buy it. Great. We made the best case we could against Barack Obama but what we did wrong is we didn’t make a good case because we didn’t have a good candidate to make the case for what we are, to make the case for the conservative party, to make the case that we are free men, that we do not want to be — have the shackles of government. Well, let’s start making that case. That’s the case that needs to be made, and nobody has made it! Let’s make the case for who we are and for our Constitution and for freedom and for the rule of law.
Let me go to Stan. Hello, Stan, you’re on the Glenn Beck program.
CALLER: I can’t believe you are trying to — I can’t believe you are trying to accept this man as our President. This man has a forged driver’s license. He had a real estate license that’s in question, and I believe most of his vaccinations are false!
Look a third party should start with this idea first and foremost. Our country is broke, Americans are broke and now both parties want to start spend more money. Obama is planning on billions of dollars in new spending and where is he going to get the money. I look at my families budget and guess what we are barely making it month to month or borrowing out of what little saving we have. I always want to ask a politician why is it the government can go broke and they are justified to take our money but when they take our money it breaks us and guess what no one is there for us. I think McCain was right freeze spending first, look at what is legitimate and spend there but we need to get rid of stuff. Look i used to have a boat that i addored but when gas went through the roof and our budget was tight what was the first thing to go. The boat. Why are we americans expected to sacrifice and give up to make ends meet but our government isnt. Can someone answer that for me????????
I’ve lurked daily at this blog and have received and participated in some prowls but I find it hard to deal with the long threads/comments- I find them very disorganized and chaotic.
But anyway, I’ve been thinking about Murphy’s post on a home for the homeless and the future direction of Puma as an ex-partisan force.
My 2 cents:
One of the few ways I see as “holding BO’s feet to the fire” would be in pressuring the FEC to investigate his campaign donations. I don’t think he will be able to hide the sources of those donations forever.
One of the few ways to influence election reform might be in working within the caucus states to eliminate caucuses.That would require pressure on the state parties.
Because Puma has so many people across the country and can speak with a loud voice- because our goal is to be heard-I think these may be areas to work on.
I think I will be working with the New Agenda group on combatting sexism.
Over in the action forum there is mention of an online magazine to highlight the Puma message. This is a great idea, in my view.
Unfortunately my comments will now be lost in the great mass of comments, but I was moved to say something and maybe someone else will pick up where i left off.
Back to lurking-take care.
I don’t have to agree with every comment OR every action of PUMA to still feel at home here….it would BE IMPOSSIBLE for millions to think as one on every issue…
that being said, if PUMA decided to Support BO…THAT would be when I would draw the line and say NOPE and ask for my money back.
This is the standard that I am holding Hillary to also. I would have stood with her until we won, or we died, but I cannot stand by and let her support BO and the Dems with MY money or my heart.
NO BO. That is all I ask. NO BO. I know it is too much, but I DEMAND IT.
And the day PUMA dies, I will fade too…
airforcehusker 11.06.08 at 9:51 pm
bluelady,
i agree with you 100%. Where did all this money come from, more importantly who bought influence. Look it didnt come from his supporters at grant park. The majority of them are young adults, college kids starting out on their own who probably dont have a pot to piss in like my father would say back in the day. This money thing is scary but the scarier notion is if you are a political candidate running for office why would you elect the public funds like mccain did. That alone money wise killed him in this election. I find it funny believe it or not that with the economy bad, two term president leaving office, 600million to 98 million in campaign funds, media in the court of obama that this guy barely and i say barely won this elections. Look if the events in september with the finance mess never happend there is a good possibility that mccain would have kept florida, north carolina, ohio, indiana and probably iowa, or nevada and won the election. Money was the deciding factor and you can say what you want but obama bought the white house, why wont americans wake up to that fact.
Well, I doubt it. The U’S’ Army was afraid terrorists would steal it so they kept it out of the news?
I can’t buy that.
*********************
I suppose it is possible. I personally have always wondered what happened to the old stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons that Iraq never destroyed or accounted for. After the first Gulf War, we did have inspectors in there who inventoried all that crap. The inventories were measured in TONS.
Saddam kicked all of the inspectors out, but there was never any record of where these stockpiles went. And when we go back in, they are all gone?
While Congress was playing partisan politics agruing about the decision to go to war, no one bothered to ask the question that at least bothered me – where’d it go?
There were a couple of books written by a guy named Yossef (or Josef) Bodansky. He had sources throughour the middle east, like the Egyptian Intelligence service, to name one. In one of his books, he detailed the accounting of what was inventoried by the inspectors. It was an eye opener, especially considering this is what they found and probably left out a lot of unfound reserves.
I don’t know if the report about yellow cake is credible, expecially since none of the documented stockpiles of biochem were ever found. Why scuttle the biochem and not the uranium?
============================================================
One of the few ways I see as “holding BO’s feet to the fire” would be in pressuring the FEC to investigate his campaign donations. I don’t think he will be able to hide the sources of those donations forever.
One of the few ways to influence election reform might be in working within the caucus states to eliminate caucuses.That would require pressure on the state parties.
=======================================================
I think this was brought up and the caucus system has been abused and can’t figure out why we would need it anyways! TX is still a caucus state and I hope to help push it out the door here!! The delegates, in essence, get to vote twice, once for themselves, and then again for the state. Not many people understand the caucus procedure – it is old and outdated!!
Thanks and am in agreement with you!!
Grizzly,
I believe you hit the nail on the head. Yes we went to war, yes people were divided, You had the concern about sadaam and than you had the liberals trying to hit bush for every mistake he made.
The interesting thing in this whole situation is yes he did have chemicals, everyone knew this and it was documented. In all fairness to bush when we didnt find the massive piles of these weapons the antiwar crowd used it as a rope around bushes neck but in the end the actual question by everyone should have been where did these chemicals and weapons go??????
Your friends testimony reminds me of a news clip I saw here in Indiana, Indianapolis. I believe it was on the last day of early voting; ; the news report was about the early turnout, thus one of the clips I saw made me paused for a minute; they showed one of the court/precinct workers wearing an Obama hat; additionally, people/workers were carrying/hauling boxes and boxes of ballots in a private mini van (Obviously transporting them to a main collecting point). I had the thought that they had the perfect opportunity to loose some ballots if they desired.
Special: Obama Bought Election with $650 Million
A Newsmax special report by Kenneth Timmerman finds that Barack Obama beat John McCain for one reason: he spent more. Obama raised a record-breaking $650 million. But now new questions have emerged about shadowy foreign donations in excess of $60 million. And Obama still has not released the names of donors who gave him almost $300 million.
Latinpuma,
See that is the thing i am talking about. How can you have people who are poll workers walking around with campaign garb on. Furthermore why is it always that a small group of people are seen transporting these ballots. Is it not possible for these ballots to be prefilled in a box and than when transported to another county office they are switched. I mean think about it, I am not saying he didnt win indiana and north carolina and such but some of these are deep republican states and areas and i seriously doubt that he made so many instrides into these areas.
Grizzly 11.06.08 at 10:01 pm
I’m going to look for that Bodansky book tomorrow. I started paying attention to what he wrote after 9/11. His book I am talking about was writtten after the First Gulf War and before 9/11 – it had an extensive discussion about the threat posed by Osama Bin Laden and a prediction that Bin Laden would attack the US mainland using commercial airliners as a weapon!
All of the Churches around here had all of their members out protesting in the streets, neighborhoods, shopping malls, resturant’s,(and you name it) Also, at the entering and exiting of freeways…And, the signs around the area were in the thousands…Unbelievable!!!! But, why weren’t they supporting MCCain??????
Good Evening PUMAS….I am finally getting over my depression of the McCain/Palin loss.
I have thought of some ideas…
1. Have a strong PUMA appear on the view and on Oprah and let them have it…
2. Train PUMA’s for office.
3. Create PUMA chapters in all states to become stronger.
4. Create an Acorn type organization and hit the government up for funds.
5. Shut down ACORN.
6. Create a PARTY of our own.
7. Create PUMA advocate groups
this are only a few….maybe I am just crazy..
In the last few days I have been reviewing the last 36 years and the presidential elections in them. I remember my first election in 1972. Nixon was running for his second term. I voted McGovern. Lots of people thought I was wrong to vote for him. Turns out that less than 2 years later, Nixon had to resign. As I recall, it had to do with election fraud of another kind.
Wall street doesn’t like Obama and people will wake up soon enough to being scammed. Either Hillary or John would have done their best for this country. I want to know why they have not asked about the fact that the military votes did not count. The last I read Mccain filed suit. They were sent out late and he requested they be counted later. Isn’t that quite a few votes.?
My opinion is that I don’t understand why obama would put his family through this. The fact is he has been dishonest on several levels. it is going to catch up with him and he is going to get nailed. It is unlikely he will make it to Jan. 25th. Any bets anyone?
If you want a place to start. Look at the machines, look at the tallies. How do we know that the figures that cnn and others are the right figures. They could be be giving us a rack of shit. How do we know that mccain really won. I mean really. when I talked to 2 young people they both told me they were voting mccain.
How do we know they didn’t jimmy the figures period? I think we should bring up all the things that we know about obama. Keep hounding those people until we get an answer about everything. Where the hell did he get 750 million dollars? It is illegal to get money from a foreign entity. He wont reveal that, he wont reveal his college records, he wont reveal his BC. How in the hell can americans sit there and vote a guy in who all we really know is his a liar, a cheater, and that’s all we know about him. People you need to wake up.
You need to find out who this guy is and why the hell this happened in the first place. Remember jan. 25th is ways a way. We need answers.
I read that Ohio had alot fewer votes than 2004 ??? How is their voting set up…could votes just ‘disappear’ (tossed ballots,riged machines,etc.)Just don’t believe those numbers with so much voter fraud. Guess we will never know…Chicago threw the election for JFK and now for BHO…NO WONDER his campaign is calling him the new JFK !
I agree with Hispanic4Hillary; why wait around, hoping and praying that someone else starts a viable new party? Seems to me we’ve already started one, the Puma Party, created by women for women. A party for women is exactly what we need. I’ve never been politically active in my life, except for voting, until this election. I am enraged and I absolutely MUST do something with this anger. I need to channel it into something revolutionary and massive, or I just might explode. But we need to get physical, Pumas. Meeting virtually is too nebulous and a bit frustrating for me. I need real life contact with other Pumas. Why aren’t we organizing in every state and actively recruiting? Why aren’t we meeting with each other to plan out our next steps and then carry them out? So much to do before 2012. I’m fairly frothing at the mouth to get started.
