From Zee:
Bill OReilly said to send him anything he hasn’t covered yet and he will cover it on MONDAY.
So we should send en masse the coal story and the prices story to him.
I’m also sending Odinga.
And, I tried to track down where Obama said that Rev. Wright “brought him to Jesus.”
There are places which reference that quote but not only have I not found the source (although I seem to remember hearing or reading the original quote last spring) but it is the FREAKIEST thing you ever saw. No matter how I word it Google only provides like 8 pages or less of sites that quote that. Even worse, they only give you a few and then say the rest are “similar” to these provided. It’s like they scrubbed almost all the references to this.
I thought OReilly, or anyone, should pose Obama this question, since he was an adult when Wright “brought him to Jesus.”
“What were you before, Senator?”
Now, I’m not a believer, and I bet both Obama and his mom were atheists, but both his father and his stepfather were Muslims, so where was his big talk on faith? Why not OWN what you are. That’s my only point.
Anyway, I think we need to en masse contact OReilly before his Monday show. Coal, #1, Odinga, #2, faith #3…Let’s work up a list of uncovered stories that will move OReilly. Post them in comments.
Do not miss Riverdaughter’s “Live From Scranton” post tonight. The fabulous Betty Jean and Harriet figure prominently.
Also, do not miss tonight’s edition of No We Won’t — Sheri and I will be discussing all the Ayers stuff with a couple special guests. Be there or be square at 8pm eastern, one short hour from now.

Zee,
If you are still here, I found a reference to where Obama said Wright brought him to Jesus at this MSNBC (Yeeewwww) site.
Obama rejects comments
Obama spoke warmly of Wright, who retired last month as pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. Wright is a man “I’ve known for 17 years, [who] helped bring me to Jesus, helped bring me to church,” he said.
“I strongly condemn” Wright’s statements, but “I would not repudiate the man,” Obama said. “He’s been preaching for 30 years. He’s a man who was a former Marine, a biblical scholar, someone who’s spoken at theological schools all over the country.
“That’s the man I know,” Obama said. “That’s the man who was the pastor of this church.”

I just thought of something, remember back before the primary was over, all the guys on MSM at the election map said Hillary had no chance of winning…when all were counted, she had more popular votes……….then the DNC took over, tossed out Mich and Fla and gave her delegate votes to him, paid off Superdelegates and tossed Hillary under the bus.
I bet the same thing is happening with the polls we see now…no DNC this time, only ACORN.

About skyrocketing energy prices:
Energy is fundamental to all pricing. You can think of the price of something as a measure of the amount of energy it took to bring it to the point-of-sale. Gold takes a lot of energy per ounce to find, dig, and deliver. Iron, not so much. Etc. Even food — the energy required to cultivate, harvest, store, ship, display.
So if energy costs skyrocket, so do the prices of just about everything else; the only exceptions would be those things which are entirely hand-made locally, and even there there is some energy dependence (feeding the hand-worker, etc.).
So Obama’s plan is instant economic disaster.
Here’s an alternative energy source I’ve been following a few years which could revolutionize things. Focusfusion.org or lawrencevilleplasmaphysics.com talk about it; it’s the Focus Fusion ‘Dense Plasma Focus’ boron-hydrogen reactor. It is compact, cheap, and would end up providing electricity without pollution (or radiation) at about ¼¢ per KWH. Each generator is fairly small, 5MW, about the size of a home garage including all housing, and can be placed and run almost anywhere.
At a stroke, these would pretty much eliminate poverty and pollution world-wide. Check it out.

To repeat a downstairs post: Obama has by-passed the DNC, and runs his own entirely separate campaign network.
Separate campaign network and offices
“2008 may be remembered as the beginning of a battle in which John McCain was only one opponent among many.”
As Kat said downstairs: “(So, this new puzzle piece only confirms my already confirmed ideas…lol…by now, I think we (those who dig) know what the “change” is, and it’s like what I have been saying: new American socialism/ communism (but not just taxes–add in civilian army, FISA, secret police, mass censoring online and on tv–add in uber propaganda, radical school shift, 2nd amendment–poof, 1st amendment–POOF, etc. swapping our allies for our enemies (bye Israel). likely reparations. stripping of Americanized culture. etc).”
Welcome to the Obamocracy run by the Obamacrats.

Google is in the tank for Obama. Their execs met with the Obama team for a strategy meeting in Florida not too long ago. I’m getting rid of my gmail account after the election and replace it with a safer email program.
Bill Ayers said in his 9/11/2001 interview about Fugitive Days,
“So, would Mr. Ayers do it all again, he is asked? ”I don’t want to discount the possibility,” he said. ”
So I wonder if he will reignite the Days of Rage in Chicago if Obama loses on Nov 4 when there will be a huge crowd in the streets of Chicago. Obots keep posting that there will be blood in the streets if Obama loses.
Shame on Obama if that happens. Shame on Ayers for presenting the world with this fraud.

***** THIS FROM GATEWAY PUNDIT ***** CHECK OUT #8 *****
******* WHAT WE KNOW *******
1.) We already are seeing massive ACORN voter registration fraud and Democratic voter fraud.
Obama and ACORN have been working closely this year to get out the super hero, cartoon character, and dead vote.
There has already been incidents of Democratic voter fraud in Ohio and New Mexico.
2.) Barack Obama is Still the Great Unknown

2. Columbia College records — Not released
3. Columbia Thesis paper — not available, locked down by faculty
4. Harvard College records — Not released, locked down by faculty
5. Selective Service Registration — Not released

15. US Senate record — mediocre yet the most liberal.

3.) What We Do Know About Barack Obama is Frightening.
Terrorists, anti-Semites, PLO Operatives, Marxists, Racists and Far Left Radicals are his dear friends.
This country has never had such a radical candidate so close to the presidency.
4.) Barack Obama’s closest friends and mentors are anti-Semites:
Jeremiah Wright, Father Pfleger, Frank Marshall, Bill Ayers, Rashid Khalidi…
They all hate Israel.
Obama even toasted a former PLO operative at a Jew-bash in 2003.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTnRgvkguBI
Unreal.
Barack is struggling with Jewish voters.
5.) We know that the Democratic base is excited and that black voter turnout will be very high this year.
Already in all of the major metro areas black voters are turning out early to vote for Obama. Blacks generally vote 90% for Democrats anyway but this year there will be several more black voters who are very excited about the first black major party candidate.
6.) Early Voting shows a very tight race.
Exit polling shows the presidential race is very close despite the spin by the corrupt media.
7.) The polls ALWAYS slant results in favor of Democrats.
When was the last time you saw a poll slanted with too many Republican voters?
…Right. It just doesn’t happen.
8.) The PUMA Factor
Could you imagine if an angry Rudy Giuliani faction of hundreds of thousands of voters were openly backing Barack Obama?
Do you think this would get some attention from the media?
Today there are over 100 anti-Obama Democratic websites.
There are hundreds of thousands of angry PUMA’s openly supporting the McCain-Palin ticket. They didn’t like how Hillary was treated and they don’t like what the Obamedia is doing to Governor Sarah Palin either.
9.) Obama is losing the God vote.
Barack Obama tried to bamboozle religious voters this year with outrageous and dishonest mock “Pro-Life” websites paid for by George Soros:
Unfortunately for Barack Obama religious voters were not fooled. They understand that Barack Obama is the most radical pro-abortion and infanticide candidate in the last 35 years.
******* WHAT MCCAIN/PALIN MUST DO ********
McCain-Palin must win at least 270 electoral votes to win the presidency.
They have to keep several Red States in the fold and if they could pick up a blue state that would be a major plus.
1.) These states will likely stay Red this year–
Florida, Ohio, and North Carolina.
It would be a miracle if Obama could pick up the conservative states of Florida and North Carolina no matter how many dead voters turn out.
In Ohio Hillary won the primary 53-45% and that was before the racist Reverend Wright scandal broke in the mainstream news. Obama has certainly lost several of these democratic voters since then due to his radical anti-American background.
These three state will put McCain-Palin at 243.
2.) Pick up a Wild-Card
From internal polling Pennsylvania is very close this year.
Both Barack Obama and John Murtha have trashed the state this year with vicious comments.
Today- it was reported that Obama wants to bankrupt the Pennsylvania coal industry.
Even with voter turnout at 105% in Philadelphia this year Pennsylvania will be close.
Give it to McCain-Palin. This puts McCain-Palin at 264.
3.) Prayer Time
If Virginia goes to McCain- It’s over.
McCain-Palin will win.
If not, then McCain will have to pick up one of these states–Iowa, Nevada, New Mexico, or Colorado– to win.
He would also need to keep all of Nebraska and pick up one vote from Maine.
It’s time to start praying.

Hey, zee, murphy. Here’s a link to a politico article about the Rev. Wright brouhaha in March http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0308/9051.html
The article quotes BO telling Keith Olberman that Wright brought him to Jesus:
[Also on Friday night, Obama sat between an American flag and one of his “Change We Can Believe In” campaign posters as he gave lengthy damage-control interviews to MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann, CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Fox News’s Major Garrett.
“I would — do not repudiate the man,” Obama told Olbermann. “[T]his is somebody who I have known for 17 years. He helped bring me to Jesus and helped bring me to church.”]

Speaking of Trinity Church, did you know Muslims go there, too?
I read that about a month ago. So, Obama can be a Muslim and still belong to Trinity Church. It stands to reason since Wright and Farrakhan are close and he’s preached there. So both Christians and Muslims go to Trinity.
That’s probably another reason Obama picked Trinity. He could hide his Muslim faith.

Where have you been for 2 years? In Kenya looking for Senator Obama’s birth ceritificate, or in Hawaii looking for them? Have you been looking under the bus for more anti-semitic, misogynist, racist friends, family and co-horts of Senator Obamas, or have you been in law libraries trying to find published legal articles by this man (note: you won’t find any because he has never been published)?
In the past two years the Democratic Party has committed more fraud against American voters, told more lies, committed more illegal acts, ignored more racism, sexism, and downright ignorance than the Republican Party has in its LIFETIME. AmkEm,
That is interesting. I read a similar post by another Small Business Owner whom stated that he employs 70 people in his business. He had his accountant run his company business numbers under Obama’s plan and concluded that he would have to increase the cost of his services/products to his clients by 8% to help him balance the additional taxes he will have to pay under Obama’s plan and also said that he would have to fire 6 employees because he would not be able to afford them with his plan. Based on his findings he stated that he is thorned with the decision of laying of his people because his employees feel like family, yet he would have to make this hard decision. He said that he found himself in a hard place with the decision, but these people have to go if Obama wins, so one day he went out to the parking lot and spotted those cars with Obama stickers, thus those are the employees that will receive the termination letter if Obama gets elected he stated.

Just got back from a McCain rally in Scranton, PA. Joe Lieberman was on stage with him, together with Cindy, our former Gov Tom Ridge and others. McCain acknowledged the Democrats for McCain in the audience. Saw Veterans for McCain and Democrats for McCain in the audience!
McCain said (again) that he supports clean coal and the jobs it will create here in PA, said not to believe what Oblahma is saying because McCain will continue to support both Social Security and Medicare.
DON’T BELIEVE THE POLLS! The race is tightening here in PA. A 13% spread down to 7%. We are within reach of defeating Oblahma! We need ALL PA PUMAS to vote for McCain-Palin on Tuesday – PLEASE MAKE YOUR VOICES HEARD! Plan to wait in long lines – I’m bringing a small folding chair with me.
*** WELCOME ALL NEW PUMAS FROM PENNSYLVANIA ***

#27 goofsmom — Thanks to all those brave PUMAs participating in the march to prevail upon the L.A. Times to release the Obama/Khalidi videotape. I would just encourage every PUMA who can do so to join the marchers outside the L.A. Times building tomorrow. They’ve been earning lots of media coverage. PUMAs are shining a light on this issue, which needs to continue to be brought to the public’s attention. The L.A. Times needs to release the videotape of BO at Khalidi’s 2003 going-away party or at the very least to release a full and complete transcript of the full videotape. All voters need to be fully informed about this before casting their ballots next Tues.
Here are some links which offer a pretty good overview. http://www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3Dnx5N2n24x2k

YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THIS: When they talk about “coal” they are talking about ELECTRICITY!
CRITICAL to the Coal story is that it’s not about “coal” (everyone thinks, “dirty, and I don’t use it anyway”) so it seems expendable. What they DON’T get is that 50% of the U.S.’s ELECTRICITY is generated by COAL.
If he bankrupts coal, he shuts off our lights!
We MUST couple this understanding WITH the info about BO “bankrupting” coal plants!
Here are two charts that show the amount of electricity generation by SOURCE in the US (second graph!). WE cannot miss this CRITICAL LINK or people will not understand why this is important!

Hey Pumas – O’Reilly will probably read your comment but will make some snarky smart ass remark about being fair & balanced – only in his mind – ever since the secret meeting with the pimp, Murdock, Fox news prez & o’reilly for the BIG interview – he’s been sippin’ the kool aid – Hannity is about the only one who really has guts enough to say anything about the pimp – but then as soon as he does – that corpse colmes jumps in & sounds like he doesn’t have a mind –
Doesn’t it just blow your mind when he’s sitting there ranting & raving & all of a sudden, it’s a commercial break and he’s giving the promo intro to the next segment and it’s about something the pimp is doing, has done or whatever – what a disconnect – I find myself doing a doubletake & wondering WTF??
I don’t want to see anything bad happen in Chicago but just sayin’…………………….it’s happened before and I just don’t get it.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but when Obama was “selected” as the nominee, he lost half the Democratic Party (18 million). Let’s say he some of those 18 million supported him. I don’t think the percentage is anywhere near the 60-70% Obama’s campaign thinks he’ll draw. I think Obama will get about 30% of Hillary’s supporters. That leaves 70% Obama won’t get.
Let’s say of those 70%, 50% will vote for McCain, and the other 20% write in Hillary, vote third party or stay home.
That gives McCain probably 95% Republican + 50% PUMAs, McCain should win handily. ACORN projects they’ve signed up about 2-3 million. That still leaves McCain with 6 million that Obama won’t be getting of the Democratic base.
I still think McCain can pull this off. That’s not including the Independents which McCain’s getting 4 to 1 for Obama.
What do you all think?

Despite Jeremiah Wright, Obama gets religion.
E. J. Dionne Jr., The New Republic Published: Wednesday, April 09, 2008
Jeremiah Wright, the preacher who brought Barack Obama to Jesus, also brought him the week from hell. Anyone within reach of even the most primitive forms of media now knows that Wright, the retired pastor of the Trinity United Church of Christ, has preached sermons that veered into the swamp of anti-Americanism and indulged in wild conspiracy theories. So, after being subject to a rumor campaign that pronounced him a stealth Muslim, Obama was now widely deemed to subscribe to a defective brand of Christianity. What other politician has been so plagued by matters involving God? It would not be surprising if Obama felt a sudden kinship for Job.
Obama surely must feel, at the very least, the bitter irony: Few recent presidential candidates have spent more time wrestling with the politics of religion. I have watched him do this from afar for a decade. I first encountered Obama at a Harvard conference on bolstering community, where he befriended Jim Wallis, the progressive evangelical leader. The two have remained in close touch ever since. Well before Obama began running for president, he delivered speeches about the politics of the faithful that were unusually sophisticated by the standards of contemporary politics.
And, on the few occasions I have spoken with Obama about his faith, he has evinced an understanding of the spiritual lives of Americans and familiarity with Reinhold Niebuhr’s theology of skepticism and humility. When I interviewed him about his relationship with Wright last week, he told me, “Churches are institutions of men, and, as a result, they are flawed.” As I paused to marvel at how this remark could have been plucked from one of Niebuhr’s essays, Obama seemed to have the same realization. He quipped, “And that’s as Niebuhrian as you can get.”
It’s typical Obama: using Niebuhr to describe an African American church. During this campaign, Obama has set about preaching a different kind of liberal religion, one that includes the old social justice faith but is also deeply influenced by the experience of the black church. And, if he can move past the Wright controversy, his gospel holds enormous electoral potential. Like the civil rights preachers of old, he has found a religious language that expresses a civic faith sought by secular voters no less than by the religiously inclined–a language that could ease the Democrats’ estrangement from theologically conservative Christians. In Obama’s signature slogan, “Change We Can Believe In, ” the most important word may not be “change” but “believe.”
Many Democrats discovered God in the 2004 exit polls showing George W. Bush winning big with religiously observant voters and those who said “moral values” were important to them. Even if the Democrats’ gestures to the devout often seemed contrived, this openness to faith was, on the whole, a salutary development: Prejudice is still prejudice, and, if it took exit polls to persuade liberals to extend their multicultural openness to people of faith, Hallelujah.
After Bush’s reelection, new organizations such as Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good were formed to battle Karl Rove and the GOP for the hearts of the faithful. Smart religious consultants began advising Democrats on how not to leave so many religious votes on the table.
Meanwhile, the Republican Party confronted a crisis as voters concluded that the Bush presidency was a failure. In the 2006 midterm elections, religious voters remained more loyal to the Republicans than the less religious. But, in many states, even the godly started turning on the GOP, and, in some, Democrats nominated candidates who could speak of their own faith naturally and with conviction.
This was happening as the white evangelical world itself was changing. New leaders and new issues were engaging the faithful, particularly younger evangelicals, who were more open to homosexuals, for example, than their elders had been. More importantly, evangelicals of all stripes developed a larger view of their Christian mission, which came to encompass poverty, aids in Africa, and the environment.
Most prominent among the leaders of this movement is Rick Warren, pastor of the Saddleback Church in California’s Orange County and author of the best-selling The Purpose Driven Life. Warren is not an ideologue like Pat Robertson or the late Jerry Falwell. He is as conservative as they come on core social issues but has been openly critical of the old religious right. “Jesus’ agenda is far bigger than just one or two issues,” he said after the 2006 election. “We have to care about poverty, we have to care about disease, we have to care about illiteracy, we have to care about corruption in government, sex trafficking.”
As for the leadership of the old religious right, it failed to deliver in this year’s Republican primaries. John McCain won the GOP nomination in the face of their opposition. They didn’t like Mike Huckabee, either. But, with one foot in the old religious right and one in a new evangelical populism, Huckabee won a large share of the evangelical vote. Thoroughly orthodox on abortion and gay marriage, he spoke of those losing out in the economy and addressed health care and education. In discussing abortion, he often turned to a broader definition of “life” by calling for respect for human rights around the globe.
The current fluidity in the evangelical world gives Obama his chance of supplying an alternative that would appeal to some of these Warren-style Christians. Obama has gone out of his way to speak respectfully of abortion’s foes. His oft-repeated argument that social improvement requires not only “changes in government policy” but also “changes in hearts and a change in minds” appeals to the conversion impulse so integral to the evangelical spirit.
The purpose-driven pastor himself seemed eager to break old molds when he invited Obama in 2006 to join Senator Sam Brownback at Saddleback to discuss the global aids problem, an issue on which both politicians had worked. Rightwingers said Obama’s support for abortion rights obligated the pastor to withdraw the invitation. Warren wouldn’t budge. “People ask me, ‘Rick, are you right-wing or are you left-wing?’” Warren told ABC News. “I’m for the whole bird.”
Obama has been preparing many years for Whole Bird Christianity.
Of course, to bring his Christian faith to Rick Warren’s church, Obama– raised with no religion at all–first had to become a Christian. He had to “walk down the aisle of Trinity United Church of Christ one day [in 1987] and be baptized.” And that’s why it’s so hard for Obama to cut himself off from Wright altogether: The pastor is central to Obama’s Christian narrative. Indeed, the above quotation comes from his book The Audacity of Hope, whose title was inspired by a Wright sermon. Obama has backed away as far as he could without completely disowning the man who he has referred to as “family.” Obama told me “the essential failure” of Wright’s words “is that they lacked the sense of redemption which is the essence of the Christian faith.” Yet Obama, as he put it in a statement on the Huffington Post, was also careful to note what he had learned from Wright: “[T]he sermons I heard him preach always related to our obligation to love God and one another, to work on behalf of the poor, and to seek justice at every turn.”
In truth, Wright’s statements highlighted by the press ran directly counter to the gospel Obama has been preaching: the message of Civil Rights Christianity, a decidedly multiracial and hopeful creed. Obama’s emphasis on hope; his talk of struggle, organizing, and movement-building; his repeated references to “the fierce urgency of now”–all openly echo the vocabulary of a civil rights cause steeped in the Scriptures. In particular, he invokes not the side of Martin Luther King Jr. capable of great anger over injustice, but, rather, King’s most conciliatory themes.
If Obama’s approach is a sincere move (he is plain in his book that he became a Christian in part because he was “drawn to the power of the African- American religious tradition to spur social change”), it is also a shrewd one. In trying to move the religious dialogue forward, Obama is drawing it back to a time when so many pastors were successfully allied with liberalism on the civil rights question that none other than Falwell scolded, “Preachers are not called upon to be politicians, but to be soul-winners.”
Civil Rights Christian language has many political advantages; most notably, it is resolutely centered not on the defeat of adversaries, but on their conversion. The conversion theme, and Civil Rights Christianity’s notion of building a cross-racial “beloved community,” fit almost perfectly with Obama’s core message of political and racial reconciliation. “We need to take faith seriously,” Obama writes in his book, “not simply to block the religious right but to engage all persons of faith in the larger project of American renewal.”
Obama’s approach made its national debut in a June 2006 speech to Call to Renewal, a group organized by Jim Wallis. It was the address of a politician who knows that Democrats need a significant share of the religious vote–and also knows that Democrats depend on substantial support from secular voters. According to John Green of the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life and the University of Akron, 20 percent of John Kerry’s 2004 voters were secular, atheist, agnostic, or unaffiliated with a church or religious group; only 7 percent of Bush’s voters fell into one of those categories. And Kerry’s religious vote was, typically for the Democrats, thoroughly polyglot: Fourteen percent of Kerry’s voters were white evangelical Protestants, 13 percent were black Protestants, 22 percent were Catholics, and 4 percent were Jews.
The question facing post-2004 Democrats is how to hold all these votes–and add a few more to create a majority. Obama’s recipe has two main ingredients: In the Call to Renewal speech, he asserted that “secularists are wrong when they ask believers to leave their religion at the door before entering into the public square.” You could almost hear the cheers at Rick Warren’s church and others like it. At the same time, he argued that religious Americans needed to remember “the critical role that the separation of church and state has played in preserving not only our democracy, but the robustness of our religious practice.” There could be no talk of ours as “a Christian nation” since “we are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers. … Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific, values.”
The Grand Obama Compromise comes down to a call for mutual respect, of believers by unbelievers and vice versa. What else would you expect from a candidate who promises, in speech after speech, to “turn the page” on our recent history of disagreeable political (and moral) conflict?
In fairness, Hillary Clinton also understands the world of faith far better than most Democrats. Her lifelong Methodism is of the classic sort: a combination of the genuinely spiritual–she speaks of friends who pray for her as “prayer warriors”–and the social and political. “Our faith calls us to do what is hard, to give voice to the voiceless, to lift up the poorest of the poor and the sickest of the sick,” Clinton said to a Baptist meeting in January. “We are called, not asked, not urged, not requested, nor ordered, but called to love one another as Jesus has loved us.”
The Clinton campaign’s top religious adviser, Burns Strider, is a shrewd and cheerful Southern Baptist who has been trying to get Democrats to take religion seriously since the Great Flood. He performed similar chores for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and played a major role in encouraging Clinton to appear on a CNN broadcast last year in which Clinton, Obama, and John Edwards all spoke about their religious lives. Clinton outshined Obama, who was relentlessly intellectual that night.
Given her personal interests and passions, there is no reason why Clinton could not offer her own religious synthesis. But, for now, it is Obama who has worked out a comprehensive approach to faith. Perhaps he has done so because he came to faith as an adult and feels called upon to explain his choice, to give testimony. Perhaps he wants to rebuke those who say falsely that he is a Muslim. Perhaps the constitutional law professor in him finds the church-state issue intellectually engaging. Or perhaps this very shrewd politician simply understands how important it is to Democratic and liberal prospects that we return to the promised land of King and Niebuhr.
Could Obama make it work? To have a chance, his Jeremiah Wright problem will have to fade. Then much will depend on whether the men and women in the pews of congregations such as Saddleback really do yearn for a different and more moderate public role for faith. If Obama can end the culture wars by building a center-left majority that includes the religious and nonreligious, then conservative resistance to his “larger project of American renewal” would become irrelevant. He would have the whole bird.

BillieJoe, I have always said that I will more than likely make a protest vote for McCain. No secret about that. Still holds true to this day. I believe in democratic principles and in my opinion, especially Barack Obama, and John McCain hold very different values than myself. I am aghast at the whole process, the lying, the bias. I am disgusted. I will fight on for democratic values. Not party values. They do not exist as far as I am concerned. I hope to make a big difference along with all of you!

When he called, he said, “I am a Muslim, and I want to join your church.” The lady said, “Okay. We can do that.” He said, “What would I have to do to join?” She said, “Just come in, fill out some paperwork, and come to two Sundays. Then you can come forward and sign up as a member.” He said, “Well, I’m not sure about the whole Jesus thing, will I have to renounce being a Muslim?” She said, “No. No. That’s not a problem…”

Google is in the tank for Obama. Their execs met with the Obama team for a strategy meeting in Florida not too long ago. I’m getting rid of my gmail account after the election and replace it with a safer email program.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The ONLY truely safe email account is http://www.cotse.net
If you want to be double safe just send them cash and give a fake name and address. They promise to notify you if anyone comes for your records and give you a week or more to delete your account. they keep no records of their users. You will have some time to delete your account.
To be real safe you should probably change your account every year. try not to use this account on official records etc. the internet can find you using your email account. If you buy something with a credit card do not use your email. The gov is gathering information too fast.
The big use of cotse.net is to surf the web anonymously. so if this PUMA web site gets watched then it might be good to log in here anonymously. Terrible situation. But to get the best anonymity you want to add other features to this. Best to know a bit about software which I do not know. SSH Tunneling which they have helps. encryption helps also. You will want to combine it all.
you might want to put cotse.net into your favorites for when you might want to look into it.
If America goes Police State we will need more then this to have some small freedom.
I can no longer watch TV, it is too depressing.

You are unbelievably generous. I don’t know what to say. It makes me feel proud to work with a great lady like you (I saw your pictures holding a home-made sign).
The Real Democrat is a good group. I was on their conference calls twice when they planned the RV trips in OH. The group leader Paulie is a leader and gets things done. She offered to put me up for two nights in OH if I could go from NY to join them on the RV tour last time. Freddie, your generosity will be paid for.
This is my first day in NE Philly. All went well. There were lots of volunteers at the campaign office today. Many of them were making phones, all day. The group from NY were split to do canvasing and visibility. We got lots of McCain honks throughout the day and evening. Of course, there were BO supporters. But I feel that we had more McCain supporters, at least today. I did get some more confidence that we are going to win PA.
I didn’t get distribute as many of your fliers as I wanted to today because I was holding signs doing visibility. But when I had my hands free, I reach for your flyers and pass them out. And I did get some out. Mary in NYC made copies for me to bring down to PA. I gave 500 copies to a campaign buddy after I got here. I have been carrying the rest with me today. Tomorrow I will pass out more. Thank you!

How many have already casted their votes…. My ballot is filled out and double enveloped and just waiting for me to drop it off on Tuesday, right befor the polls close…. Now it seems that with the Obama campaign pushing the early vote for Obama supporters, that the majority either have or will have before Tuesday the fourth… logically it seems that McCain just might have the highest turn out on Tuesday…. Am I dreaming or is this something that cupcake really said in one of his speeches?
Corruption is not a new problem. It’s not just a Kenyan problem, or an African problem. It’s a human problem, and it has existed in some form in almost every society. My own city of Chicago has been the home of some of the most corrupt local politics in American history, from patronage machines to questionable elections. In just the last year, our own U.S. Congress has seen a representative resign after taking bribes, and several others fall under investigation for using their public office for private gain.

Quick question: I thought O’Reilly was in the tank for BO and that Hannity was pretty much the only one left who was sympathetic to our concerns. I don’t watch Fox so I can’t speak direclty, but that’s the impression I get from posts here. Are we sure O’Reilly is a trustworthy contact?
**********************************
I have been watching O’Reilly ever since Hillary was interviewed by him.
I would classify him as a middle of the roader, and to me that means he can lean either way depending on the arguement and personality he is engaging in.
He like to play the devils advocate if a guest is leaning to much in one way or the other.
He will not go out on the limb like Hannity and I thought he gave Obama a kid glove interview.
He asked the guestions but never challanged Obama on his answers.
Fair and Balanced is his mantra and I think he tries to develop that characteristic of himself, on his show.

Did Obama have forsight of ACORN and voter fraud?
Senator Obama’s Floor Speech in Opposition to the Amendment Requiring a Photo ID to Vote
Wednesday, May 24, 2006
snip…Let’s be clear. This is a national voter ID law. This is a national voter ID law that breaks the careful compromise struck by a 50-50 Senate four years ago. It would be the most restrictive voter ID ever enacted, one that could quite literally result in millions of disenfranchised voters and utter chaos at the state level.
Now, I recognize there’s a certain simplistic appeal to this amendment. Why shouldn’t we require people to have a voter ID card when they vote? Don’t we want to make sure voters are who they claim to be? And shouldn’t we make sure non-citizens aren’t casting ballots to change the outcome of elections?
There are two problems with the argument: number one, there’s been no showing that there’s any significant problem with voter fraud in the 50 states. There certainly is no showing that non-citizens are rushing to try to vote: this is a solution in search of a problem.

Just got home and am trying to catch up.

Thought I would share some good news with the pack.
I was talking to day with a couple of college kids. “O” supporters.
Or at least they were.
I talked to them seperately one in the morning one in the afternoon and they both said they same things.
“o’s promising everything to everyone and there is no way he can do it all. “O” is lying to us just to get our votes/ “O” is just another politician.
OH and they both mentioned all thier friends feel the same way.
Also, they were really po’d about the attacks against Palins wardrobe. Both said that it was ridiculous for the dems to say anything about Plains wardrobe when bobo just spent x amount of millions of dollars on an infomercial and they brought up his acceptance speech.
I think we see why the “Youth vote” turn out has been so low in early voting.
Btw, both will now vote McCain.

Officially off the bench and in the game now. I just emailed Jay Nordlinger at NRO (national review online–MAJOR Repub site). He just posted a column asking why we don’t scream racist like the O camp does about everything (he specifically mentions the “blood in the streets” rioting threatened if O loses). So I sent him Grizzly’s WELL-DUG-UP link about Delaware’s “Diversity Training Manual” pointing him directly to the definition of racist (i.e. you can only be racist if you are white, but not if you are black, and ALL whites are by definition racist).
I explained briefly that this thinking comes from the Ayers/Columbia school of thought.
Who knows if he’ll do anything with it, but you can bet I never thought I’d be emailing writers at NRO with indepth research info to explain what’s going on!
Thanks PUMAs! Together we’re educating the Repubs too!

I was wondering if anyone has heard the stories being reported that THOUSANDS of military ballots WILL NOT be counted because in one case have witnesses for their signatures/addresses?
This really concerns me and military ppl, families of military ppl serving and the men and women over there fighting for us not to have their ballot counted is WRONG.
With all the crap with the US voting probs, no ID to vote, ACORN, being able to come here and register and vote when you do not live in that state (ie those college kids that did it), giving a park bench as a addy to vote for the homeless, Gee even the astronaunts voted from space……something is wrong with this picture and someone needs to fix it NOW so that our military have their voices and votes counted. I called my state senator and they said it goes state by state their voting requirements……Excuse me but I believe OUR Military should be allowed any way shape or form to vote!

Question: What is the ONLY National Guard unit on permanent active duty?
Answer: 49th Missile Defense Battalion of Alaska National Guard
Question: Who is the Commander in Chief of the 49th Missile Defense Battalion of Alaska National Guard?

Answer: Governor Sarah Palin, Alaska
Question: What U.S. governor has a higher classified security rating than either candidate of the Democrat Party?
Answer: Governor Sarah Palin, Alaska – According to the Washington Post, she first met with McCain in February, but nobody ever found out. This is a woman used to keeping secrets. She can be entrusted with our national security, because she already is.

From: http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/Read.aspx?GUID=D7971545-30B0-4C9C-85BD-E671BBCBE0FF
But the double standards of the media in their election coverage are as striking as their bias. Scant attention has been paid to the litany of idiocies that have flowed from the tongue of Palin’s vice-presidential opponent, Joe Biden. Some lowlights include the following:
a) Biden exhorted a wheelchair-bound state senator at a Missouri campaign rally to stand up and take a bow;
b) He told interviewer Katie Couric that in times of crisis, it was incumbent upon the U.S president “to demonstrate that he or she knows what they are talking about,” in the tradition of President FDR, whom he said “got on the television” to allay Americans’ fears “when the stock market crashed” in 1929. Of course, Herbert Hoover was president at the time (FDR would not take office until early 1933), and TV would not be introduced to the public until 1939;
c) At a pair of October fundraisers, Biden advised supporters to “gird your loins” because, within six months after Barack Obama’s inauguration, an adversary somewhere in the world would undoubtedly manufacture a “crisis” in order to “test” the young president “like they did John Kennedy”;
d) During his debate with Sarah Palin, Biden stated authoritatively: “Vice President Cheney…doesn’t realize that Article One of the Constitution defines the role of the vice president of the United States, that’s the executive – he works in the executive branch. He should understand that.” But in fact, Article One of the Constitution defines the role of the legislative branch of government, not the executive branch; and
e) At a recent campaign appearance, Biden said that John McCain’s “last-minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number-1 job facing the middle class, and it happens to be, as Barack [Obama] says, a three-letter word: jobs. J-O-B-S.”
None of these gaffes are important. But neither is Gov. Palin’s wardrobe. And unlike her new clothes, Biden’s slips – like the reporting of his infamous plagiarism of a speech by British Labor leader Neil Kinnock in his abortive 1988 presidential run, a plagiarism so thorough that it resembled identity theft – received little mention in the mainstream media.

I remember an actual quote from Obama that when he decided to get in politics, he knew he had to belong to a church to get elected, and that he went church shopping specifically for that reason and found the Reverend Wright. Who brought him to Jesus.
I remember reading this way back in the beginning of the primaries, but of course I can’t find it now.
There is a picture of him celebrating Christmas that year his father came to Hawaii, opening presents. So I assume his Grandparents were Christian. But he and Michele don’t give Christmas or Birthday presents to their own kids.

This is from the Larry Sinclair site!
November 2,2008
President Bill Clinton in Hew Hampshire today tells state Dem’s privately that they should believe it.
At a campaign stop in New Hampshire today to support Democratic candidate for US senate, former NH Governor Jeanne Shaheen, former President Bill Clinton, was asked privately what he thought about the Larry Sinclair story.
“Bill, what about this Larry Sinclair thing?” Clinton was asked by a long time NH Democrat. “People should believe it,” responded President Clinton. President Clinton was asked about my claims against Barack Obama after a speech in NH today.
NOTE: The question and response by president Clinton was made known to me only a few moments ago by a long time NH democratic party worker at the request that their name not be published.

So glad Palin hit the coal comment today in Ohio! One of the largest employers in my area (southeastern PA) is a energy company that designs and build power plants (including coal-fired plants). A friend of mine works there and he says that the company announced last week that they were giving flex time to the employees so that they could vote during the day. With Palin refreshing our minds of Nobama’s stance, I’m sure that entire PA company just woke up today. According to my friend, the employees will more than likely email their co-workers, clients and vendors in Tennessee, Chicago, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio, and Portland to remind them to vote.

Anna7000 #148. In the media, there is soft bias: the deliberate choice of quotes to push a meme or narrative (like that McCain was not talking about the economy when it was tanking. They would play an econ quote from O on the stump and then say something like, “McCain was in Florida stumping as well… “No one thinks that we can win, but we can and we will.” The OBVIOUS, if you’re looking, inference is that O is talking all the time about the economy, and McCain is only talking about the campaign and his desperation to win, which was patently false, but the average viewer/consumer doesn’t realize that).
Then there is the outright bias in say the interview questions of Obama and say Palin. Obama is asked, “What does it feel like to be the first black person poised to be president?” Palin is asked, “What qualifies you foreign policy-wise? I mean have you ever had to negotiate with the Taliban?” (Okay, not quite like that on the Palin one, but that TYPE of question.)
They do the same thing to the wives. Comparing the questions Michelle got to the questions Cindy got was laughable!
The bias can show up in the types of stories they choose to cover or not cover (Hello, Bill Ayers & Khalidi vs. Sarah Palin’s clothes)
Or it can be in the way they cover them (O is wonderful on this subject (Freddie/Fannie), McCain knows nothing about it (yeah, right!))
Then you get into what I consider is the outright FRAUD of the polls and the talking points distributed BEFORE the event occurs (and them reading the talking points verbatim as if they were their own thoughts–like after Palin’s Convention Speech; within ten minutes of the pundits getting to opin, FOX, CNN, and MSNBC had ALL mentioned that “her speech was written for her, so she can obviously read well…” That stuff doesn’t just happen. That’s talking points FED to them PRIOR to the speech!)
I could go on. As a journalist (former, though I still consider myself a seeker of the truth), I’ve seen this from the start. That’s one reason I seek out as many “news and opinion” sources as possible. One can lead you anywhere they want to go.

This needs to be brought to SOMEBODY’S attention!!~!!!

Wait, who is asking about Oprah and Trinity Church? I know the whole deal.
Oprah is hard-core Trinity. Notice she isn’t very tradtional religious? The Secret and The New Earth? It’s new age. (Trinity is black liberation theology–mainly poli/ soc, and not religious.)
Anyway, Oprah used to go (physically) to Trinity Church in Chicago, but it became too much of a distraction because of her celebrity.
She stopped physically going to the church in late 80′s (supposedly). But Wright has been famous (for decades), for distributing his sermons on tape, and he used to be televised and have radio access.
So, Oprah followed him all these years. Wright even said in 2007 (on Hannity–youtube) that Oprah was a member of his church. Oprah also talked about how she and Obama shared the same church, while he was ON the show. I watched it.
Oprah started mentioning Pastor Wright on her show outloud about one year before Obama announced his candidacy for president. She referred to her church out right as well.
Trinity demands supporting their 10 point african-centric (not afro-centric), belief system.
Oprah had never been to Africa until the last few years. Then she opened an orphanage for girls. This is very much a part of the Trinity movement. To support African roots. Obama, likewise, contributed to charities, such as African dance schools, etc.
I have no doubt in my mind that Oprah goes to Trinity Church by way of video at home. Yup, I think Oprah is a hard-core racist and enjoys using white people. She even spoke with Gail (best friend) on her radio show about how she has white people working for her, and she alluded to role reversal from slave times, and boy did she and Gail laugh.
I watched Oprah everyday for at least 5 years. I know that woman. I boycott her now.

justnotright – Been canvassing for what feels like years. I live in heavy O territory. I used to post fliers. Then, I transitioned my focus a couple of weeks ago to go to homes with McCain/Palin yard signs and bringing a letter urging them to make calls for McCain to swing states. The letter also has links to PUMApac, Lynette’s caucus site, and a few other relevant links. If folks aren’t home, I leave the letter. I also leave it under windshield wipers of cars with M/P bumper stickers (sort of a rarity around these parts). If they are home, I engage them. I’ve found the vast majority are uninformed about many things and for the most part, pretty complacent. But, at least I feel like I’m tapping into a sympathetic community on some levels and don’t risk getting my head bashed in while I’m doing it. I sort of switch back and forth between this canvassing and making calls to swing states. None of it is particularly inspiring, but it feels relevant at this stage of the game. That’s my canvassing story.

That is what has been being said – they said that it was either 2000 or 2004 (or both) that out of all the military able to vote the % of them that did was about 15% – now you know as well as I do that is not the case….not that low % rate.
There maybe two different stories (or more) but one story was that they were not going to count because of the soldiers addresses….and then I called and was told by a person at my senator (federal) office that it was over turned by a judge and they were going to be counted.
Then I heard just yesterday on one of the FOX afternoon news shows that there were military ballots that were not going to be counted because of not having witnesses of signature/addy?
So do not know if they are the same or not…..REGARDLESS this needs to be checked into!
I am going to call again tommorrow to my senator office and every other place I can think of and rattle some cages.
I wish I knew of a support group or organization for our serving military to make a call to them…..PASS the word to families of the military and ask them to check with ppl serving (if possible) or any of their connections to see what there is to this situation. Thanks in advance for you making some calls about this to

Just got off the phone with my Dad. He’s offically an Eeyore now and pretty much depressed. His remarks were that the MSM is handing the election to Bozo. I said I think most people see through that nonsense, especially since it’s so over the top. He just kept saying well he beat a very good candidate that actually won in the primary. I said he didn’t beat her, he cheated by caucus fraud with ACORN. Then he stated, I know that, and no one cares or has done anything about it and now he’s doing it again in the GL. I told him about PUMAs and he said well, do you think there are enough PUMAs in swing states b/c you know it’s the electoral vote that is key and Bozo is winning that. I told him to stop listening to the media on anything including electoral votes. He just kept saying it seems as if everyone is either a zombie Bozo supporter or is scared of him. He’s specifically afraid of the college vote putting Bozo over the top. I tried my best to reassure him that Mac will win but it didn’t seem to work. We ended up betting $100 on the election result and we both hope I win!

Ya, I think we should make a puma action “don’t believe the hype” wildfire on the internet tomorrow.
I can’t wait till McCain wins. So this whole facade melts. Meanwhile, if people believe the facade, then it is real. But I know the polls are crap, and so is the media…
The question is: Are Americans smart enough to still come out and vote for McCain, no matter what. That’s all that matters.

for those of you who did not follow the link at #215 about Obama’s response to bankrupting the coal industry, here is the summation of the article and a sound choice offered by the author:
“But that’s a different post. Let me sum up this one: you have two options in this election.
Four years from now, do you want to be poorer, colder, and increasingly in the dark? Then by all means, vote Obama/Biden.
Or are you quite selfishly addicted to the sensation of seeing the lights turn on when you flip the switch? Then I suggest McCain/Palin.”

Obama-Farrakhan Ties Are Close, Ex-Farrakhan Aide Says
Saturday, November 1, 2008 2:59 PM
By: Kenneth R. Timmerman
A former top deputy to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan tells Newsmax that Barack Obama’s ties to the black nationalist movement in Chicago run deep, and that for many years the two men have had “an open line between them” to discuss policy and strategy, either directly or through intermediaries.
“Remember that for years, if you were a politician in Chicago, you had to have some type of relationship with Louis Farrakhan. You had to. If you didn’t, you would be ostracized out of black Chicago,” said Dr. Vibert White Jr., who spent most of his adult life as a member and ultimately top officer of the Nation of Islam.
White broke with the group in 1995 and is now a professor of African-American history at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
White said Obama was “part of the Chicago scene” where Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. and radicals would go to each other’s events and support each other’s causes.
“Even though Chicago is the third-largest city in the country, within the black community, the political and militant nationalist community is very small. So it wouldn’t be uncommon for [Obama and Farrakhan] to show up at events together, or at least be there and communicate with each other,” White told Newsmax.
The Anti-Defamation League has denounced Farrakhan and his Nation of Islam as a “hate group.”
Farrakhan has called Jews “bloodsuckers,” “satanic” and accused them of running the slave trade. He has labeled gays as “degenerates.” In a 2006 speech, the ADL again condemned Farrakhan when he said: “These false Jews promote the filth of Hollywood that is seeding the American people and the people of the world and bringing you down in moral strength. … It’s the wicked Jews the false Jews that are promoting lesbianism, homosexuality. It’s wicked Jews, false Jews that make it a crime for you to preach the word of God, then they call you homophobic!”
Obama was careful to “denounce” Farrakhan’s comments – but not the man — during the Democratic primary season earlier this year, but only after Hillary Clinton called him out for benefiting from Farrakhan’s support.
Farrakhan endorsed Obama in a videotaped speech to his followers at Mosque Miryam in Chicago in February. “You are the instruments that God is gonna use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth,” Farrakhan said.
He told the crowd that Obama was the new “messiah.” See Video: Farrakhan Endorses Obama, Calls Him Messiah.
Once the news media and the Clinton campaign got hold of those comments from Farrakhan, demands mounted from all sides that Obama “renounce” Farrakhan.
But as he has done repeatedly throughout this campaign, Obama was careful to parse his words.
“You know, I have been very clear in my denunciation of Minister Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic comments,” he said during one appearance on “Meet the Press.” “I think that they are unacceptable and reprehensible.”
Obama hastened to point out that Farrakhan had been praising him as “an African-American who seems to be bringing the country together. I obviously can’t censor him, but it is not support that I sought. And we’re not doing anything, I assure you, formally or informally with Minister Farrakhan.”
But Obama, once again, was less than candid.
In 1995, according to a profile of Obama that appeared in the Chicago Reader newspaper, Obama “took time off from attending campaign coffees to attend October’s Million Man March in Washington, D.C.”
At the time, Obama was running for the Illinois Senate from Chicago’s South Side, a seat he won after getting surrogates to challenge the signatures on nominating petitions for his chief rival, the incumbent Alice Palmer.
The march, which fell far short of attracting the million men it advertised, was organized by Farrakhan and by Obama’s then-pastor, the anti-white black nationalist Wright.
Obama spoke at length with the Chicago Reader upon his return from the Million Man March. “What I saw was a powerful demonstration of an impulse and need for African-American men to come together to recognize each other and affirm our rightful place in the society,” he said.
“These are mean, cruel times, exemplified by a ‘lock ’em up, take no prisoners’ mentality that dominates the Republican-led Congress,” Obama said.
“Historically, African-Americans have turned inward and towards black nationalism whenever they have a sense, as we do now, that the mainstream has rebuffed us, and that white Americans couldn’t care less about the profound problems African-Americans are facing.”
“Black nationalism” is a current of thought and political action in the African-American community that has been championed by the likes of Farrakhan, Wright, Malcolm X, the Black Panthers and Khalid al-Mansour. Obama discussed his attraction to black nationalism at length in his 1995 memoir “Dreams of My Father.”
Obama further parsed his words in a Feb. 25, 2008, presentation to a Jewish community meeting in Cleveland, Ohio, where he insisted that Wright “does not have a close relationship with Louis Farrakhan.”
And yet, just months earlier, Wright’s Trumpet magazine gave Farrakhan its Lifetime Achievement Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeter Award, saying that Farrakhan “truly epitomized greatness.”
That award was the fruit of a long and deep relationship between the two men, White told Newsmax. In 1984, Wright accompanied Farrakhan on his much-criticized trip to meet Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, at a time when Gadhafi was considered an enemy of the United States.
Wright also accompanied Farrakhan and Jackson to Syria in 1986, where they successfully negotiated with Syrian strongman for the release of downed American pilot Robert O. Goodman.
Obama’s Speaking Style
In addition to the ideological affinity Obama expressed for the black nationalist movement, White believes that Obama owes much of his success as a public orator to speaking techniques that Farrakhan developed over the years, and exploited for years to great success.
“If you listen to the rhetoric and you take away Obama’s political jargon, you hear a religious tenor to it that is very much Nation of Islam-like. I don’t know if anyone has ever touched on it, but Obama’s speaking style is very Malcolm-like, very Farrakhan-like,” White said.
Any American who has listened to early radio or television interviews of Obama can hear how dramatically Obama’s speaking style has changed since he became a United States senator.
In clips dating from 2001 and even early 2004, Obama speaks haltingly and in long, rambling sentences packed with legalese and dense pseudo-academic rhetoric. But not today.
“As a former minister of the Nation of Islam, I know how they speak,” White told Newsmax. “I don’t know who was training Obama. But that style is not a ministerial style like in the Christian church. It’s a Nation of Islam style.”
White began in the late 1970s as a foot soldier in the Fruit of Islam, the military branch of Farrakhan’s Black Muslim group, then rose to become a minister of the Nation of Islam and a top deputy to Farrakhan himself.
Known initially as Brother Vibert L.X., and later as Minister V.L. Muhammad, he parted ways with Farrakhan not long after the Million Man March, after nearly 25 years within the organization.
White’s 2002 book “Inside the Nation of Islam” prompted death threats by Farrakhan loyalists, so he left Illinois and moved to Florida to teach at the University of Central Florida.
He told Newsmax that Obama’s remarkable speaking style, even his manner of standing at a podium to appear larger than life, is directly copied from Farrakhan.
“If the Nation of Islam can’t do anything else, it can train people how to speak. And nobody can outspeak a Muslim minister,” he said.
Earlier this year, a pro-Clinton blog run by former CIA officer Larry Johnson unearthed a 2004 photograph showing Michelle Obama and Farrakahn’s wife, Mother Khadijah Farrakhan, at an event hosted by Jackson’s Citizenship Education Foundation.
Newsmax queried Obama’s U.S. Senate office, his Chicago office and his campaign press office about his ties to Farrakhan, but did not receive a reply.
Ever since he appeared before the annual policy conference of the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee in June, Obama has attempted to convince the Jewish community that he is pro-Israel.
But his longstanding ties to Farrakhan, Wright and Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi, among others, have disturbed many Jewish community leaders.
Sen. John McCain publicly chastised The Los Angeles Times on Thursday for not releasing a videotape the newspaper said it possessed of a 2003 dinner for Khalidi, where Obama reportedly accused Israel of carrying out a “genocide” against the Palestinians.

West Virginia reacts to “coal” audio:
“Coal official calls Obama comments ‘unbelievable’
11/2/2008 4:37 PM
By Chris Dickerson -Statehouse Bureau
Obama
McCain
CHARLESTON – At least one state coal industry leader said he was shocked by comments Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama made earlier this year concerning his plan to aggressively charge polluters for carbon and greenhouse gas emissions.
“What I’ve said is that we would put a cap and trade system in place that is as aggressive, if not more aggressive, than anybody else’s out there,” Obama said in a Jan. 17 interview with the San Francisco Chronicle that was made public today first on the Web site newsbusters.org, which calls itself “the leader in documenting, exposing and neutralizing liberal media bias.” The story later was linked on The Drudge Report.
An audio excerpt from the interview can be found at YouTube.
“I was the first to call for a 100 percent auction on the cap and trade system, which means that every unit of carbon or greenhouse gases emitted would be charged to the polluter,” Obama continued. “That will create a market in which whatever technologies are out there that are being presented, whatever power plants that are being built, that they would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted down caps that are being placed, imposed every year.
“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”
Calls and e-mails to West Virginia Obama campaign officials seeking comment for this story were not returned as of Sunday evening.
According to the West Virginia Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training, the coal industry provides about 40,000 direct jobs in the state, including those for miners, mine contractors, coal preparation plant employees and mine supply company workers.
West Virginia is the second largest coal-producing state in the country behind Wyoming and accounts for about 15 percent of all coal production in the United States. The Mountain State leads the nation in underground coal production and leads the nation in coal exports with over 50 million tons shipped to 23 countries. West Virginia accounts for about half of U.S. coal exports.
In addition, the coal industry pays about $70 million in property taxes in the state annually, and the Coal Severance Tax adds about $214 million into West Virginia’s economy. The coal industry payroll in the state is nearly $2 billion per year, and coal is responsible for more than $3.5 billion annually in the gross state product.
“The only thing I’ve said with respect to coal, I haven’t been some coal booster,” Obama said in the San Francisco Chronicle interview. “What I have said is that for us to take coal off the table as an ideological matter as opposed to saying if technology allows us to use coal in a clean way, we should pursue it.”
The senior vice president of the West Virginia Coal Association called Obama’s comments “unbelievable.”
“His comments are unfortunate,” Chris Hamilton said Sunday, “and really reflect a very uninformed voice and perspective to coal specifically and energy generally.”
Hamilton noted other times Obama and vice presidential candidate Joe Biden have made seemingly anti-coal statements.
“In Ohio recently, when Joe Biden said ‘not here’ about building coal-fired power plants — this is exactly what will happen,” Hamilton said. “Financing won’t be directed here. It will all go aboard for plants elsewhere in the world. The United Sates is importing more coal today from Indonesia, South Africa and Colombia than we ever have.
“If we’re going to create a situation where coal-fired power plants are at that much of a disadvantage, there will be new ones built. But as Biden said, just not here.”
Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s state director said Obama’s statements are troubling, especially for West Virginians.
“I think this clearly shows the attitude the Obama-Biden ticket has toward coal,” Ben Beakes said Sunday. “Rhetoric is cheap, but behind closed doors what they tell their supporters – that’s what we have to take as gospel.
“They’re definitely not friends of coal.”
Beakes noted other examples of Obama and Biden making seemingly anti-coal statements, such as in February when Obama said he’d like to tax “dirty energy” such as coal and natural gas.
“And their cohorts in Congress make similar statements,” Beakes said. “(Senate Majority Leader) Harry Reid (D-Nevada) said this summer that ‘coal makes us sick.’
“This is an attitude and view that, to me, shows their hatred of coal. And therefore, their view would cost West Virginians thousands upon thousands of jobs.”
Beakes touted McCain’s view toward coal.
“John McCain has embraced coal,” Beakes said. “He doesn’t agree with everything in the coal industry, but his view of coal is positive. He will make it part of his energy policy. He’s met with leaders in the coal industry and let them know that. He’s sought advice from coal industry leaders.
“McCain understands that coal supports about 49 percent of our electricity in this country. He’ll continue to make coal important. He wants to reduce our foreign dependency on oil.”
Hamilton also said the Obama campaign needs to find varied sources for coal and energy advice.
“If they’re victorious Tuesday, they’d better go to someone other than Al Gore on energy and environmental matters,” he said. “They’ve tipped the balance way — unnecessarily so — toward protecting the environment.”

Murphy — I found the “Jesus” quote. It is on page 2, halfway down this story, from Politico, March 15, 2008:

Here is page 2:
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0308/9051_Page2.html
And the quote is:
“I would — do not repudiate the man,” Obama told Olbermann. “[T]his is somebody who I have known for 17 years. He helped bring me to Jesus and helped bring me to church. … But I have to say that the comments that have been played are ones that are contrary to what I believe, what I think of this country, the love that I have for this country and, you know, are ones that anger and distress me.”

Senator Hillary Clinton on Sunday decried the use of her voice in computer-disseminated “robo-calls” by Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s campaign.
The phone calls, which automatically dial up voters in hard-fought battleground states, play a recording of Clinton during the Democratic primary battle.
In the recording Clinton derides what she said was a lack of experience by then-rival and fellow Democrat Barack Obama, who went on to win the party’s presidential nomination.
“Senator Hillary Clinton does not approve this message, and as she criss-crosses the country, she has said time and again that the choice in this election could not be more clear,” said the former first lady’s spokeswoman Kathleen Strand.
“The McCain/Palin ticket offers only more of the same failed policies, while the Obama/Biden ticket offers the vision, leadership and positive solutions we need. I wonder why the Republicans aren’t using those words?” Strand said.
According to news reports, the robo-call starts out with a voice saying: “Listen to what Hillary Clinton had to say about John McCain and Barack Obama.”
The recording of Clinton, dating back to the Democrats’ primary campaign, is heard to say: “In the White House, there is no time for speeches and on-the-job training.
“Senator McCain will bring a lifetime of experience to the campaign, and Senator Obama will bring a speech he gave in 2002,” Clinton says in the recording.
“I think that is a significant difference,” said the senator’s voice on the robo-call, which reportedly is circulating in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Jewish World Review Oct. 29, 2008 / 30 Tishrei 5769
A PERFECT STORM
By Thomas Sowell
http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | Some elections are routine, some are important and some are historic. If Senator John McCain wins this election, it will probably go down in history as routine. But if Senator Barack Obama wins, it is more likely to be historic— and catastrophic.
Once the election is over, the glittering generalities of rhetoric and style will mean nothing. Everything will depend on performance in facing huge challenges, domestic and foreign.
Performance is where Barack Obama has nothing to show for his political career, either in Illinois or in Washington.
Policies that he proposes under the banner of “change” are almost all policies that have been tried repeatedly in other countries— and failed repeatedly in other countries.
Politicians telling businesses how to operate? That’s been tried in countries around the world, especially during the second half of the 20th century. It has failed so often and so badly that even socialist and communist governments were freeing up their markets by the end of the century.

The economies of China and India began their take-off into high rates of growth when they got rid of precisely the kinds of policies that Obama is advocating for the United States under the magic mantra of “change.”
Putting restrictions on international trade in order to save jobs at home? That was tried here with the Hawley-Smoot tariff during the Great Depression.
Unemployment was 9 percent when that tariff was passed to save jobs, but unemployment went up instead of down, and reached 25 percent before the decade was over.
Higher taxes to “spread the well around,” as Obama puts it? The idea of redistributing wealth has turned into the reality of redistributing poverty, in countries where wealth has fled and the production of new wealth has been stifled by a lack of incentives.
Economic disasters, however, may pale by comparison with the catastrophe of Iran with nuclear weapons. Glib rhetoric about Iran being “a small country,” as Obama called it, will be a bitter irony for Americans who will have to live in the shadow of a nuclear threat that cannot be deterred, as that of the Soviet Union could be, by the threat of a nuclear counter-attack.
Suicidal fanatics cannot be deterred. If they are willing to die and we are not, then we are at their mercy— and they have no mercy. Moreover, once they get nuclear weapons, that is a situation which cannot be reversed, either in this generation or in generations to come.
Is this the legacy we wish to leave our children and grandchildren, by voting on the basis of style and symbolism, rather than substance?
If Barack Obama thinks that such a catastrophe can be avoided by sitting down and talking with the leaders of Iran, then he is repeating a fallacy that helped bring on World War II.
In a nuclear age, one country does not have to send troops to occupy another country in order to conquer it. A country is conquered if another country can dictate who rules it, as the Mongols once did with Russia, and as Osama bin Laden tried to do when he threatened retaliation against places in the United States that voted for George W. Bush. But he didn’t have nuclear weapons to back up that threat— yet.
America has never been a conquered country, so it may be very hard for most Americans even to conceive what that can mean. After France was conquered in 1940, it was reduced to turning over some of its own innocent citizens to the Nazis to kill, just because those citizens were Jewish.
Do you think our leaders wouldn’t do that? Not even if the alternative was to see New York and Los Angeles go up in mushroom clouds? If I were Jewish, I wouldn’t bet my life on that.
What the Middle East fanatics want is not just our resources or even our lives, but our humiliation first, in whatever sadistic ways they can think of. Their lust for humiliation has already been repeatedly demonstrated in their videotaped beheadings that find such an eager market in the Middle East.
None of this can be prevented by glib talk, but only by character, courage and decisive actions— none of which Barack Obama has ever demonstrated.

I’m scared by Obama Movement. This is too similar with the beginning of those disasters in China in the last century: crazy young people and intellectuals, excessive admiration of political leader, biased media……
This is not just an election. Every American citizen should wake up and fight for your democracy and liberty.
I’m so nervous about the result on Tuesday. McCain cannot lose.
God bless American.

Sisterluck: I am so tuned out from their propaganda, since last winter: no CNN and MSNBC. They are SO negative. Not just with over the top negative stories, but subliminal digs as well. NOT GOOD. Course, the lower stations copy them.
People need to not believe the hype. Tell them it’s a false reality and that it’s only real if they believe it. lol. But seriously.

Remember even if the BOites spread the rumor that BO has it sewn up people are going to still vote because there are many other reasons to vote. In Washington we have the Death with Dignity (or assisted suicide) peoples initiative and a dead heat Governors race that was won last time using voter fraud. People can not be discouraged from voting so easily as the MSM, Brazille and BO think.

Dick Durbin’s daughter died today so it reminds me that all of these people we don’t “like” for now are real people. She was 40 and had congential heart problems. Leaves a son and husband.
I voted for McCain last week. Polling place in my Chicago neighborhood was empty. This was the first time I voted for a Republican for President in my lone life. I voted aginst Durbin this time also. At least he answers my email and letters. Obama never does.

We three hours ago KarenWI requested something. So “we” designated her as the Team Leader. I just opened my email to find 4 files:
from email:
“I hope that this is helpful. It is a list by state of electoral votes, how they voted 2000 & 2004 and when the polls close. I color coded voting record and poll closing times.”
———-
I’ll be uploading these as a guide. For convenience I’ll slip them in on teh Election Kit page.
BY THE WAY: be sure to print the first wto pages of the election guide and bring them to the polls. Also, scroll down to review your state information (there are also links included for deeper review.)

You want to hear irony? a friend if mine that is an Obama supporter
got upset when she heard Obama, Biden talk the other day about taxes
and people making over 150k, 200k she got pissed because she thought
it was always 250k…then she got mad because she already cast her
vote….I told her just to wait because if he gets in, then she will
hear the truth, more like 25k, no free money and that is just the
beginning. I laughed at her and told her I did not care to hear her
complaints now, because I voted for Hillary then I voted for McCain.
So yes I believe there will be riots regardless of who gets in but it
will be the democrats doing the rioting.

Interesting completely unscientific inquiry.
Of the states that went blue in ’04, Hilarey won 8 of 19 of them in the primaries. Did a little digging to see how far the spread from Hilarey to O was in the states she won and compared them to how much Kerry won them by in ’04.
Here’s the results for what it’s worth…
California K 54.6 B 44.3 (spread of 10%) H 51 O 43 (spread 8%)
* Michigan K 51.2 B 47.8 (4% spread) H 55.23 O 40.07 (15%)
* PA K 50.8 B 48.6 (2%) H 54.57 O 45.43 (9%)
NH K 50.3 B 49.0 (1.3%) H 39.09 O 36.45 (3%)
NY K 57.8 B 40.5 (17%) H 56.5 O 39.7 (17%)
Mass K 62.1 B 37.0 (25%) H 55.8 O 40.49 (15%)
RI K 59.5 B 38.9 (21%) H 58.37 O 40.35 (18%)
* NJ K 52.7 B 46.5 (6%) H 53.76 O 43.93 (6%)
That makes NJ, Michigan and PA support for Hil over O in position to overtake Kerry’s lead of Bush. And California, NH, and NY in striking distance.
The question is, how many of this Hilarey supporters became PUMAs and how many drank the kool-aid.

I hope to make a big difference along with all of you!//

taggles;
as a commenter said someplace, her husband was about to do a write-in, but then recalled what he had told his co-workers, to vote for Democracy instead of Obama. That mad him realize what a McCain vote represented, so that’s how he decided to vote.
Also, as L. Long reported on a talk show just now, in many states if you are registered Dem a write-in goes to the Dem nominee, regardless. VERY dangerous for anyone considering write-ins!!

natkar76 #281. Some of you may not have watched Hannity, et al for long, so let me just say this about Pat Cadell… though I disagree with him on many points, he is a stand-up guy. He doesn’t try to shout anybody down, just makes his points and moves on. The other night when Hannity broke the Sirhan Sirhan story, they had Cadell on with Coulter to give their opinions. Now I have WATCHED Cadell on many occasions, but this time he looked… strange. He literally could not keep his eyes open through much of the time he was answering. He looked like he was about to either go to sleep or throw up. Of course, he was regurgitating lines about “Bill Ayers and what he believed should have no baring on this whatsoever…” but his EYES and manner were saying something VERY different.
Just an observation.

“The author isn’t giving up hope on Obama yet, but has to hope the western US is going to deliver. We even get an added tease about the state of the race in Virginia:
Why am I telling you this? BECAUSE IT IS SO IMPORTANT NOT TO BECOME COMPLACENT!!!!!!!! We are so close, so close, to such an important victory. It may be too late for PA, Virginia may be hopeless as well (I just got a very discouraging report from my sister in that regard), but Obama can still win if every Western swing state is sewn up, and things go well elsewhere. We cannot underestimate the power of the hate/fear message coming from the Republicans. We can’t leave anything up to chance, or hope, alone.“

Google is in the tank for Obama. Their execs met with the Obama team for a strategy meeting in Florida not too long ago. I’m getting rid of my gmail account after the election and replace it with a safer email program.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
…
Thanks, I bookmarked it.
Google is too big, powerful, rich, and obviously politically in the wrong camp since they not only made their employees fund Obama but are meeting with him for strategy.
That is scary. Why would Google strategis with Obama???? This is NOT good.

Just as a side note. Biden went to Tallahassee to give a speech today (Sunday) at FSU. Now we all know that where ever McCain or Palin showed up they get 10K+ people at their rallies. Biden had 2000 people show up to his rally. Now you have to understand that Tallahassee is the only democratic city in north Florida. They have a black college (10,000+ students) there and FSU which has about 40,000+ students and faculty. I am speechless as to why only 2000 people showed up and they are trying to tell us that Sara is a drag on the McCain campaign.

Susie1948 #298. Actually, it should have been the media’s job to vet O, not totally falling on the Reps. On top of that, even when we found stuff, they wouldn’t report it. Hannity’s been SCREAMING about Ayers for a year now, and where is the massive research into THAT relationship? Here. That’s where it is.
And I, personally (not speaking for anyone else here AT ALL), do NOT care who gets the credit for taking O-Goliath out. The point is to TAKE HIM OUT!
In fact, that’s why I came over here. My Rep sites were slowly sliding into Eeyore mode. I wanted to find someone who would FIGHT THIS THING TOOTH AND NAIL. I found it here!
(That’s not to say that the Rep COMMENTERS where I was were down. They were calling the bloggers on their obviouser and obviouser “we’re doomed” bias. Trust me, MANY Repubs are with us and are fighting. I think the smoke-screen illusion O’s team has up has us all vaguely afraid that we’re in this thing alone. Not true… just like EVERYTHING ELSE HE SAYS WHEN HE THINKS SOMEONE IS ACTUALLY LISTENING!)

#289NewOrleansPuma Thank you so much. I’m watching this election all the time since Juanuary. I was astonished at how the media and Obama campaign treated Hillary Clinton, and then Sarah Palin and John McCain.
Obama is a typical opportunist. He has no principle. He did nothinng in the Senate. His “change” is totally a joke. During this election, he changed his “change” plan again and again. I don’t know what he gonna change. Don’t forget all the dictators in history would promise you beautiful “change” and “hope” before gaining power and would use biaed media to suppress you.
I hope Americans’ common sense will save this country. Once you lose your democarcy and rights, it’s really hard to get them back. Our Chinese are still struggling.

#338 I heard Pat Cadell on a local rdio show say he is NOT voting for Obama, He’s very upset about the radical associations, but he hasn’t decided what he’s going to do with his vote!
P.S. Everybody is upstairs!

The effort this morning to inform about Obama’s Coal Industry comments have been successful. However, can anything else can be done to make sure everyone hears about this, not just in coal states. The true impact of Obama’s energy plan will devastate American’s everywhere. I am thinking people need to call into all of the radio talk shows tomorrow like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and others. A lot of people listen to these shows, and perhaps some of these people are “undecided” or with weak support of Obama? With one day to go, this might reach a lot of people to make this the “November Surprise”. What do others think?

BORDM and TXRepGirl,
Its nice to meet you both. I too am a Republican and “honorary” PUMA.

Hi fmster
We are posting on the new thread upstairs now.
Don’t want you to think you are being ignored.

…
What you guy’s think about this ? does this make any seance ? seems OK to me but I’m not expert on this stuff.//
========
No, it doesn’t make any “seance”, because he’s not a medium.
But it does make SENSE, because he’s looking at the margin of flip-Dem voters (PUMAs) needed to swing the states, and counting down the EC seats each state swings.
So far, in early voting, you will note that despite Dem majority voting, the exit polls / count shows M-P winning. This is a STRONG indication that the “flip” voters are coming out, and are very motivated.
So his analysis seems quite reasonable.

__________
That ticked-off voter actually has a remedy available: go hunting among her friends for two who are intending to vote for O, and switch them. One cancels her vote, the other puts her vote where it should have been.
There! All fixed!

I just wish I had his brain I am so jealous of people that are that smart and quick. Since menopause I feel like I have brain freeze all the time.

ciss, this is all OT, of course, but — new experiments establish that BC pills and HR therapy can use continuous hormone dosage for several years running (no “dummy” pills, so no periods). It is much easier to tolerate, and much easier on the body and mood. Ask your doctor, or just use ordinary packs and pitch the last week “dummy” pills and start right in on the next pack.

re. Dem caucus fraud, I think that the perfect time to begin exposing that in the media will be after O loses.

Okay, now someone is fooling with the email site for Sean Hannity. I tried to send a message and it kept asking me to type in the pass code, which I did several times.
Google needs to go down right after Obama. They are screwing with everyones computers.
Libby 11.03.08 at 12:12 am
Since Obama Bots have been screwing around with the news stations, media, internet search engines, message boards etc. I can see a really good opening for Puma focus after the elections. Find “good” internet and media people and start new stations, media outlets, message boards, and search engines to replace the corrupt ones that have been bought and hi-jacked by the Ayers-Obama-Soros group.
REPLACE THEM.
Caroline 11.03.08 at 12:14 am
exDemMcvoter I know some Chinese sudents in the United States, but they cannot vote. I’ve spreaded my message to all my friends. I hope they can influence some American students.
Obama is not reliable. He is not only a threat to the United States, but also to the whole world. This world need a responsible leader.
Libby 11.03.08 at 12:25 am
I think both Greta and O’Reilly got a talking to about “keeping it fair and balanced” from their bosses. O’Reilly just renegotiated his salary, so he is playing it safe.
Everyone knows that Colmes is an idiot who must be given talking points from someone who is doing his research, probably Obots, while Hannity is doing his own research….probably with other researchers under him.

Hey guys:
I need a website to prove that Obama was out today with Otis Moss III current pastor of Trinity United…
I saw it tonight on Fox news.
The guy was a total ghetto thug.
Zee 11.03.08 at 1:13 am
Thank you all who gave me links to that quote of Obama’s.
Yes, I know that OReilly has been inconsistent, but I still think it’s worth it to send him in ideas.

Again, looking for links and specifics about the campaign appearance of Rev Otis Moss (trinity United pastor) today.

From what everyone is seeing and hearing out there…do you feel a Mccain Victory Tuesday???
I believe he has our state. (Texas)
I am in N. Texas, the DFW area and I am very confident. I think most O supporters have climaxed. Now it’s time to vote McCain/Palin and slam the door on them. I have been a stealth reader here but just signed up. I really enjoy the intelligence and humor all of you seem to bring to the table. You’re outasight. Go Pumas!

Return to Vegas
Here it is almost 1 AM again, just returned from walking precincts for McCain – Palin in Clark County Nevada.
This time I scrounged a ride from my friend Vince. I spent the night at his family’s new home in Santa Ana, and Vince drove me to Torrance at 4:45 AM to meet the bus. We had more McCaniacs from Cali this time, so they sent 4 buses! I and 50 or so other volunteers were driven out to HQ in Henderson. We were given maps and rides and food and swag (hats, tee’s stickers), and we walked precincts in Henderson to GOTV for McCain. We had another special guest in the afternoon….America’s Mayor! His Honor Rudy!!! He gave an inspiring speech and we hit the streets with a renewed vigor. That afternoon we were taken to the Embassy Suites, and started again in the morning (with an extra hour sleep thanks to DST).
My partner and I hit almost 400 houses! We were once again fortified by the masses of people supporting us and thanking us for our efforts. The McCain team in Henderson was AWESOME!! They worked so hard to keep us fed, energized, hydrated and organized. Sarah Palin’s parents came by on Sunday and we ended up with over 50,000 contacts for the weekend. BO himself even felt the need to come in on Saturday (I guess it’s closer than they are letting on).
Once again it was refreshing to see so many people in support of a common cause. We had PUMAs on the bus! I remain convinced they will save America’s bacon this time!
This is not over!!
God bless you Pumas and God Bless America!!!

This is going around. I got it at 5:57 AM. We Vets don’t sleep and especially when it’s this important.
Palin Slams Obama Over Coal Comments
Sunday, November 2, 2008 8:46 PM
Responding to the discovery of an audio tape of an old Barak Obama interview Sunday, Sarah Palin accused the Democrat of “talking about bankrupting the coal industry,” as she campaigned through the coal regions of Ohio.
“He said that, sure, if the industry wants to build coal-fired power plants, then they can go ahead and try, he says, but they can do it only in a way that will bankrupt the coal industry, and he’s comfortable letting that happen,” Palin said. “And you got to listen to the tape.”
The audiotape Palin referred to was recorded by the San Francisco Chronicle in a Jan. 17 interview and uncovered by the Drudge Report.
“Why is the audiotape just now surfacing?” Palin said, according to CBS News.
Someone in the crowd shouted, “Liberal media!”
“This interview was given to San Francisco folks many, many months ago,” Palin said. “You should have known about this, so that you would have better decision-making information as you go into the voting booth.”
In the audiotape, Obama reiterated his call for a cap and trade system on carbon and greenhouse gases.
“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can,” Obama said. “It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”
Responding to Palin’s comments, the Chronicle said the tape had never been hidden away.
Many years ago there was an inspirational song devoted an organization I am quite familiar with. I think it’s time to bring it out of mothballs as it has always been a motivator for me. Hope you all like it. Peace,Love,Happiness and tie-dyed shirts, Jim

WE’RE GONNA WIN, PUMAS
Shane 11.03.08 at 3:12 pm
Murphy says on the eve of battle…………………………..
Puma Pac, be prepared to WIN to-morrow.
Be prepared to WORK to-day.
Encouragement from a wonderful leader and a brilliant organization,
whose members deserve to gain access to Ronald Reagan’s shining
city on a hill…A bastion of freedom and security…for the future.
And perhaps with their efforts the Puma movement can change that
nefarious and notorious German sign “Arbeit mit frei” (Work makes
free) to a better meaning in 2008 as their efforts and work in this
election tomorrow will free the Nation of the worst ever impending
Socialist/Communist disaster that threatens this great country,
like a hanging chad in Florida of yesteryears,.. which might break
at any time….A Presidency ruled by Mr Obama…..
Good fortune, Shane, Ireland.
