Women Raise the Alarm

by murphy on October 31, 2008

in Action, Barack Obama, Join us!, The Audacity of Democracy

Our ACTION Center is brimming over with links to find out more about Bill Ayers, I mean Barack Obama’s associates and friends. People like Ayers and Dohrn — the kind of people who dedicate books to Sirhan Sirhan calling for the violent overthrow of the government and the murder of citizens. Thank you to dances with pumas for doing all the work on the ACTION Center and to Grizzly, Kat in Your Hat, Texas Tigress, Caracal Carrie, and ALL the Puma PAC members who have diligently and doggedly been researching and blogging this information.

Help us fuel the Puma Prairie Fire to get this information to as many people as possible in the next 4 days. Blog and email links to our ACTION Center and website. Post web addresses to as many Puma sites as you can tonight and tomorrow.

Not all of us are women — but many of us are and we have known about how downright despicable the Obama Movement has been for over 10 months. We were the first to see his operation in action, and it is now our responsibility to spread the word as fast and as far as we can — we are trying to fuel a Puma Prairie Fire to raise the alarm.

Here are several links from Kat in Your Hat, but be sure to visit the ACTION Center for comprehensive links.

from Drudge:

ZOGBY SATURDAY: Republican John McCain has pulled back within the margin of error… The three-day average holds steady, but McCain outpolled Obama 48% to 47% in Friday, one day, polling. He is beginning to cut into Obama’s lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all…

Guys, It was just announced that Hannity and Greta are having “Special” shows this weekend.
Not to get any hopes up, but
1. API has sworn again today that the MO recording is going to be played on Hannity and Greta before 4 Nov. And that it would be in two parts.
2. It’s unusual that they would do a special on Saturday, or even Sunday. The Election Specials are starting on Monday on the other channels.
3. The Hannity and Greta shows are pre-recorded, but they are going to be live Sat and Sun.
4. Obama said today that the last four days are going to get “Nasty”.

Could this meant that the API MO recordings are real and will be aired this weekend?

Hmmm… Any possibility at ALL that Ayers was at that dinner?

From apparently, the Bill Ayers blog

http://billayers.wordpress.com/2006/09/21/israel-invades-the-ny-public-schools/

Israel Invades the NY Public Schools
Outrageous.

Two years ago Joel Klein, Chancellor of the NY public schools, bowed
to a heated and disingenuous attack by a group of zealots against any
American academic who had the temerity to deviate from Israel’s
elaborate,self-aggrandizing, and thoroughly dishonest story of itself,
and announced that Rashid Khalidi, the esteemed historian from
Columbia University, would not be allowed to speak at school-sponsored
teacher development sessions. Klein in effect scuttled a program in
which Columbia provided, pro bono, academics from a range of
disciplines to engage with teachers in staff development activities.

Who doesn’t like good news? :)

I definitely hope we get “good” news next Tuesday.

Ario, that has been one of the real challenges about this year, in many ways more divisive than the last election. I felt so happy / lucky last weekend when a friend tracked me down, gave me a hug w/tears in her eyes, don’t worry if your family / friends really love you they’ll come back.

I think that MO tape is coming out. I listened to the end of BO’s speech in Indiana tonight and he is desperate to have people vote early. He sounded like he was begging them to vote as soon as they can and not to wait. He is scared!

Also, I think PUMA should make a high priority after the election no matter who wins to put ACORN out of business.
This is a company that needs to be detroyed.

Hey Dances, you might want to look at possibly moving this one to the action center as well:

The Obama links to Ayers and the SDS (Students for Democratic Change) gets more remarkable.

Ayers and Dohrn were members of the SDS and its offshoot, the Weather Underground. Wade Rathke was a member of the SDS and a pal of Ayers and Dohrn. Rathke founded ACORN.

Drummond Pike was a member of the SDS and pal of all. Pike was the Founder of the Tides Foundation. Pike recently tried to bail out Rathke with some money funnelled from Tides to ACORN to cover the losses from the embezzlement of Rathke’s brother from ACORN ($1 million).

Mike Klonsky is Obama’s “social justice” advisor. Klonsky was also a member of SDS and is, like Ayers, Dohrn and others, an admitted communist. All of these links between the people mentioned and the SDS are easily verifiable via a google search, so I won’t muck this up with hyper links. But, I will link to a couple of very revealing pieces:

http://therealbarackobama.wordpress.com/2008/10/08/another-obama-ayers-klonsky-lenz-nexis/

“The October 1999 issue of the Catalyst lists among the members of the Planning Committee for the Community Renewal Society’s 10th Anniversary Prom:

Michelle Obama, assistant dean at the University of Chicago.
John Ayers, executive director of Leadership for Quality Education.
Susan Klonsky, a consultant with the Small Schools Workshop.
By way of a simple introduction:

Michelle Obama is the wife of then Illinois State Senator and current Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

John Ayers is the brother of unrepentant domestic terrorist and former leader of the Weather Underground Bill Ayers.

Susan Klonsky (right) is the wife of Mike Klonsky, both former members of the radical leftist group Students for a Democratic Society. In 1968, she worked in the SDS National Office. Mike Klonsky is Director of the Small Schools Workshop, a school reform organization. Susan Klonsky is Director of Development with the Small Schools Workshop. Mike Klonsky and Bill Ayers co-chair the Workshop.

http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=OTQzMDIxZjlmMTM5N2ZhNzlmY2IyZDYxMWQ5NjQ2NDM=

Klonsky’s communist pedigree could not be clearer. His father, Robert Klonsky, was an American communist who was convicted in the mid-Fifties for advocating the forcible overthrow of the United States government — a violation of the Smith Act, anti-communist legislation ultimately gutted by the Supreme Court. In the Sixties, Klonsky the younger teamed with Ayers, Dohrn, and other young radicals to form the Students for a Democratic Society. It was out of the SDS that Ayers and Dohrn helped found the Weatherman terrorist group.

Klonsky took a different path, albeit one that led inexorably to a new partnership with Ayers, which Obama mightily helped underwrite. Upon splitting off from the SDS, Klonsky formed a Maoist organization, first known as the “October League,” which ultimately became the “Communist Party (Marxist Leninist).”

Klonsky was CP(ML)’s chairman. He was so highly thought of by Mao’s regime that he was among the first Americans invited to visit Communist China. When he was feted there in 1977, a year after Mao’s death, the communist leadership hailed Klonsky’s party as “reflecting the aspirations of the proletariat and working people.”

Klonsky was a regular guest of the Chicoms until 1981, when the relationship soured over the post-Mao leadership’s free-market reforms. (Yes, Klonsky is apparently more committed to communism than China’s own Communist Party.) So what was a Leftist radical without platform to do? Why, what else? He became an American college professor specializing in education.

When Obama and Ayers collaborated together on the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC) education-reform project, with Obama chairing the board that oversaw funding decisions, CAC underwrote the Klonsky/Ayers Small Schools Workshop with a whopping $1,056,162. And that’s not all. Nearly another million dollars was steered to the Small Schools Workshop by the Joyce and Woods Funds when Obama sat on their boards. The grand total comes to $1,968,718.

Now today’s elites, including some prominent conservative intellectuals, thumb their noses once again at the stupid party. They look longingly at the putatively cerebral Obama, a fit more to their liking even if his politics are, they hope, just a tad wayward. But the Leftist revolutionaries are under no such illusions. In Obama, they see the fulfillment of their dreams to remake America. As Klonsky has explained, “My own support for Obama is … a recognition that the Obama campaign has become a rallying point for young activists and offers hope for rebuilding the civil rights and antiwar coalitions that have potential to become a real critical force in society.”

It is getting much clearer as to why Obama has fought the Ayers connection so hard.

Now we’re going to go down another rabbit hole related to the first. Bill Ayers connection to Fred Hampton, founder of the Black Panthers. This is part of the Wiki entry on Fred…

Over the next year, Hampton and his associates made a number of significant achievements in Chicago. Perhaps his most important accomplishment was his brokering of a nonaggression pact between Chicago’s most powerful street gangs. Emphasizing that racial and ethnic conflict between gangs would only keep its members entrenched in poverty, Hampton strove to forge a class-conscious, multi-racial (albeit tenuous) alliance between the BPP, Students for a Democratic Society, the Blackstone Rangers, the National Young Lords in Chicago, and the Young Patriots. In May 1969, Hampton called a press conference to announce that a truce had been declared among this “rainbow coalition,” a phrase coined by Hampton and made popular over the years by Rev. Jesse Jackson, who eventually appropriated the name in forming his own unrelated coalition, Rainbow PUSH.

Reason I post this is because that rainbow thing kept bothering me. Rainbow. I’ve heard that in association with something. This is it. The Rainbow Coalition. Rainbow PUSH.

And the main piece of the O LOGO is a… rainbow.

Good evening PUMAS, after hours working for a cause greater than myself, I feel good at the same time sad. Two weeks while distributing flyers, I was verbally accosted by an old lady (late 60’s at least) and told me our flyer was downright lies. I remained calm while she continues her ranting and raving and finally I had to walk away. Around 6pm, I pulled to a gas station to fill up my tank (driving a whole lot for hours), she was there filling her gas tank too. I guess she must have remember me, I was wearing my “Democrats for McCain-Palin” pin. She approached me and said, “I’m very sorry, I was so mean to you, you were right I was wrong.” For two minutes I just look at her, my eyes do all the talking; before I enter my car I said to her, “Maam, next time before you accuse someone of lying, be very sure your Ts are crossed, your Is are dotted. I think I left her a lot of questions only she can answer. I wasn’t angry, I didn’t raise my voice, I was very calm. But frankly, I want to choke the living daylights out of her.

I lost my cellphone too! I don’t know where I’ve lost it. I called my cellphone provider, close my account and went to another company and bought a new cellphone and by the grace of God, I saved over for my monthly from here onwards! I feel better, that’s a lot of savings for me, for years I’ve been paying a little over 200 bucks for my cellphone for unlimited coverage, now, I only have to pay $88.33 for the same kind of plan! I’m charging the battery overnight, tomorrow that battery would be flat once I start phone banking for McCain.

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!! Darn it! I bought 3 boxes of chocolate bars in Costco, I only have 15 people knocked on my door and they’re all college kids!!!!! hahahahahahah!

That Columbia connection between Ayers and Obama sounds like a winner. And it fits. If they were both there at the same time, Maxine Greene may well be the connection. Obama’s transcripts would certainly show the classes he took there, and that would nail the early connection.

Maxine Greene, by the way, is another piece of work. This article from the City Journal (Sol Stern) details the Ayers/Greene love connection, as well as linking another Obama luminary to Greene and Ayers, Rashid Khalidi:

http://www.city-journal.org/html/16_3_ed_school.html

“Ayers’s spectacular second act began when he enrolled at Columbia University’s Teachers College in 1984. Then 40, he planned to stay just to get a teaching credential. (He had taught in a “Freedom School” during his pre-underground student radical days.) But he experienced an epiphany in a course taught by Maxine Greene, a leading light of the “critical pedagogy” movement. As Ayers wrote later, he took fire from Greene’s lectures on how the “oppressive hegemony” of the capitalist social order “reproduces” itself through the traditional practice of public schooling—critical pedagogy’s fancy way of saying that the evil corporations exercise thought control through the schools…

Greene told future teachers that they could help change this bleak landscape by developing a “transformative” vision of social justice and democracy in their classrooms. Her vision, though, was a far cry from the democratic optimism of the Founding Fathers, Abraham Lincoln, and Martin Luther King Jr., which most parents would endorse. Instead, critical pedagogy theorists nurse a rancorous view of an America in which it is always two minutes to midnight and a knock on the door by the thought police is imminent…Thus Maxine Greene urged teachers not to mince words with children about the evils of the existing social order. They should portray “homelessness as a consequence of the private dealings of landlords, an arms buildup as a consequence of corporate decisions, racial exclusion as a consequence of a private property-holder’s choice.” In other words, they should turn the little ones into young socialists and critical theorists.

All music to Bill Ayers’s ears. The ex-Weatherman glimpsed a new radical vocation. He dreamed of bringing the revolution from the streets to the schools. And that’s exactly what he has managed to do.

In 1997, Ayers and his mentor Maxine Greene persuaded Teachers College Press to launch a series of books on social justice teaching, with Ayers as editor and Greene serving on the editorial board (along with Rashid Khalidi, loyal supporter of the Palestinian cause and the Edward Said Professor of Arab Studies at Columbia University). Twelve volumes have appeared so far, including one titled Teaching Science for Social Justice.”

Looks like Professor Greene believes in the application of practical Marxism for a better tomorrow!

If you can find the info linking Obama and Ayers to Greene, that would be fantastic.

An interesting turn of events here, news about McCain and Palin is on our local news since monday evening when I get home after work. It used to be completely Obama news, but I haven’t seen his mug this week. And they are reporting fair, unbiased news about the election trail. Nice turn of events. Why the change, I have no idea, but it is change I can believe in.

And contrary to what people are saying, Palin is quite popular in Canada (I’m basing this on radio show callers), possibly because the more remote areas of Canada can identify with her moreso than Obama.

” Twelve volumes have appeared so far, including one titled Teaching Science for Social Justice.”

and they scream about allowing creationism to be mentioned in the classroom?!?!?!?

I dont support Creationism for Science — no way.

But Science for Social Justice is JUST AS BAD!!

It’s science for crying out loud!

I’d laugh if it didnt make me want to scream with rage. The real victims of this are not us (at least not yet) The real victims are all those poor children in Chicago who NEVER LEARN SCIENCE BECAUSE FREAKS LIKE BILL AYERS ARE EXCLUDING THEM FROM KNOWLEDGE!!

Do you think the Obama children attend the kind of school Ayers has forced on the children of the poor? How many chicago children will ever get to go to schools like Harvard and Columbia?

Wonderful Music and Video. Certainly brought me closer to everyone. That is the unity we all need. Obama divides everyone.

I read on ABC and get discouraged. I come here and get lifted up. What is wrong with MSM. It feels so difficult to read what they say. So painful. ABC says Obama is going for a landslide. Here is seems we are winning. Obama says he has Florida sewed up here we read McCain has Florida. It is crazy out there.

I like the Gretawire site. Everyone so positive about Palin interview.

I sort of wish I could vote early just to make a statement. But I believe early voting allows for more corruption in the process. It allows for people to vote more than once.

I am in favor of marking everyones finger with a solid ink that can not be washed off. everyone votes the same day. at least that way no one can vote twice. so called third world countries use the ink on a thumb method. we do nothing to protect our votes. We should outlaw all groups that get out the vote like ACORN. Make every person go into the town hall to register to vote or make exceptions only for people who can not leave home. have workers go to their home to register them or something. but the people have to call the town hall. not this crap that Acorn does.

wow hannity is offering money to help out That Ones brother in kenya….lol! Im poor these days…but i will send money…should this be a prowl?

**************************
Ario – your comment triggered a memory of something I thought I saw. Yep, I saw it. Obama also stiffed a school in Kenya named after him after he promised them he would support a school named in his honor:

http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23520981-details/Barack+Obama%27s+broken+promise+to+African+village/article.do

At that historic homecoming in August 2006 Obama was greeted as a hero with thousands lining the dirt streets of Kogelo. He visited the Senator Obama Kogelo Secondary School built on land donated by his paternal grandfather. After addressing the pupils, a third of whom are orphans, and dancing with them as they sang songs in his honour, he was shown a school with four dilapidated classrooms that lacked even basic resources such as water, sanitation and electricity.

He told the assembled press, local politicians (who included current Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga), and students: “Hopefully I can provide some assistance in the future to this school and all that it can be.” He then turned to the school’s principal, Yuanita Obiero, and assured her and her teachers: “I know you are working very hard and struggling to bring up this school, but I have said I will assist the school and I will do so.”

Obiero says that although Obama did not explicitly use the word “financial” to qualify the nature of the assistance he was offering, “there was no doubt among us [teachers] that is what he meant. We interpreted his words as meaning he would help fund the school, either personally or by raising sponsors or both, in order to give our school desperately-needed modern facilities and a facelift”. She added that 10 of the school’s 144 pupils are Obama’s relatives. Obiero was not the only one to think that the US Senator from Illinois, who had recently acquired a $1.65 million house in Chicago, would cough up. Obama’s own grandmother Sarah confidently told reporters before his visit: “When he comes down here, he will change the face of the school and, believe me, our poverty in Kogelo will be a thing of the past.” …

Yet there is disappointment and hurt here, too. Granting us access to the school and its records, Principal Obiero, 48, tells us: “Senator Obama has not honoured the promises he gave me when we met in 2006 and in his earlier letter to the school. He has not given us even one shilling. But we still have hope.”

The letter Obiero refers to – dated 22 June 2005, signed by Obama and addressed to her – was written after his election to the US Senate in 2004 and hangs, framed, on the wall of her spartan office alongside photographs of Obama’s visit to their school. It says: “I am honoured that you have decided to rename the Kogelo School in my name.

The land that the school is built on was donated by my grandparents and I am proud to carry on the tradition of supporting the school.”

Obiero and her board of governors followed up his letter offering ” support” with a bald, formal request for funds in the form of a nine-page proposal, a copy of which has been provided to the Evening Standard, laying out their ambitions for the school. In it they ask for 8.2 million Kenyan shillings (approximately £65,000) to upgrade the school. The money would be used, they say, to bring water to the school by sinking a borehole and building a water tank, erect a perimeter fence, complete the science laboratory and add muchneeded new classrooms, additional latrines, and a school dining hall.

Obiero recalls: “When the US Ambassador William Bellamy came to visit the school for the official renaming ceremony in February 2006, we gave him two copies of the proposal, one for the Embassy and one to give to Senator Obama. But we have not heard anything from either of them since.”

Recently, she adds, she gave another copy of the proposal to Obama’s Kenyan half-sister, Auma Obama, who recently returned to Nairobi after living in England and working in children’s services in Reading. Auma had been married to a British man but they are now divorced. “Auma also promised to pass it on to her brother,” says Obiero.

When we ask an Obama spokesperson in Kenya, who is also a family member, why no support has been forthcoming, he says: “We have no comment, the family are not doing any interviews at this time.”

However, the school’s senior teacher Dalmas Raloo, 41, who is often used as a translator for Obama’s grandmother who only speaks Luo, and is a friend of the family, says the family are mystified by what they are calling “Obama’s lapse”. “If you ask whether Obama’s family think he should give something to the village and to the school, the answer is ‘yes, definitely’. But they feel it should come from him spontaneously. They don’t want to ask him for it.”

But, maybe he meant he’d help out with OUR money, not his.

Oh but I think my very favorite was when a PUMA said this about Bill Richardson not being offered the VP slot: “Poor Bill Richardson, sold his soul to the Devil and all he got was a T-Shirt.” ;D

Do you think the Obama children attend the kind of school Ayers has forced on the children of the poor? How many chicago children will ever get to go to schools like Harvard and Columbia?

Obama says his kids are in Private Schools. Only the best for his kids. thats why every sunday they listened to Rev Wright. They get the best indoctrination into Communism hatred of whitey and hatred of America. Well educated kids by Barack and grow up just like Michelle.

http://azlyrahman-illuminations.blogspot.com/2008/07/tribute-to-teacher-maxine-greene.html

Columbia professor of definitely Bill Ayers and possibly Obama. Some quotes from her student’s site…

“the existential phenomenologist’s (Greene’s) narrative of the Self, curriculum, schooling, and the possibilities in education. Maxine Greene’s idea of the mind as “verb” rather than a “noun” captured my imagination in analyzing what mass deception can potentially do to creative young minds schooled in a capitalist, totalitarian, or a mixture-of-both state.”

Murphy! How could you never think about Alaska, they got northern lights up there…! And in the very farthest reaches of Alaska where there’s hardly any daylight, and food (real food) is hard to get shipped in, I’m told by a reliable source they snack on thinly sliced whale meat, frozen, with salt. The thing is it is as if the men in the Dem party and the MSM do not even see what is wrong with their sexist statements and behavior. Unbelievable. I think because Alaska fits geographically into the Canadian landmass, we don’t really consider it a part of the U.S.A. We grow up knowing it’s an American state but at the same time thinking of it as one of our more northern communities.

It’s interesting, because my home will always be Newfoundland, no mtter where I live, and when I read about Palin, the polar bears, moose hunting, snowmobiling, fishing, it reminds me so much of growing up. And I really think that’s why outer city Canadians like her, there’s a familiarity in her lifestyle.

Several of my friends who are Nurses moved to Alaska when the Alaskan government offered huge payment packages with travel costs and housing bonuses to attract nurses during the shortage. They love Alaska and stayed after their contract was up. I may be wrong on this, but from what I read and talk about with others, Alaska is a very popular tourist place that Canadians enjoy.

I can sum it up by saying the feel is that Alaskans are our kind of people, and that’s a huge compliment.

oh I love Alaska — love it. it’s just not on most people’s radars here in NE.

Although the second graders at our school do a BIG learning project on the Iditarod — it’s so fun, we make maps of Alaska, adopt a sled team to follow during the race, learn all about mushing, and polar bears, and eskimos and stuff.

I love Alaska — one of my most favoritest books ever is Drop City by TC Boyle. It’s about these hippies in the 60’s who go up to Alaska to form a Utopian paradise commune and what actually happens. It’s a very lovingly rendered and nuanced story of those times.

CA is not a solid blue state.

This is a post from Murphy…

376
murphy 10.27.08 at 7:22 pm
Ambinder says this is nothing to worry about. Dream on Obama Nation.
California has begun early voting already as well as mail-in balloting. The number of people who have gone in to vote in person has been extensive. The results so far prove what we had always suspected. The polls are being proven as totally unreliable. Although the results of early balloting have not been disclosed,of course, how many Republicans and how many Democrats have voted has been revealed.
The results are simply shocking. The polls showed Barack Obama with an 18 point lead in California just a few days ago. The results thus far are the complete opposite. In the most liberal state in the entire country, the results are that 99,000 Republicans have voted and 96,000 Democrats voted. In the mail-in balloting the results so far are that 9,000 Democrats sent in their ballots and that 5,000 Republicans did so. So with nearly 210,000 people having voted, the Democrats have only a 1,000 vote advantage !
=================================================================
DEMS ARE TAKING CA FOR GRANTED!!!!!!!!! (Not so fast)
Yesterday they said the majority of voters where Dems, and the polls showed they were tied with the Reps. Which doesn’t make sense. So, the only answer is that, those Dems are voting for McCain.
This afternoon in ABC, they said there is a such amount of early voters that the office in Norwalk is going to be open over the weekend. They also said that, chances are that on tuesday polling places close AFTER 8 P.M.

Awwwwwwwwwwww Murphy, just so you know, Canadians (exclude Toronto here) do really like Americans. There is so much history between the two countries. And so many American soldiers who were stationed in Canada, married Canadian women after the two wars, that the US will always be a part of our history.

On a side note, I’ve been wanting to type this for a few days:
One thing about this entire election is that I’m very pleased to have met everyone here in PUMAland, and while I don’t always agree with everyone something important came out of this for me. That is an understanding of all the different viewpoints and personalities on the blog. Plus an admiration for how driven people are when they believe in something. But it’s more than believing its learning and questioning, and for me, I’ve learned more about the US political system from PUMA’s on this blog in a few short months than I ever could have through books or tv.

Obama wants to send $850 billion taxpayers money to Africa every year. It will got to people like Odinga and to people to overthrow all the governments of Africa to form muslim communist countries as part of the muslim takeover of the world. I guess he hopes a few dollars will filter down to the school.

Obama does not feel. feelings are not of the intellect. love comes from the feelings. Obama does not feel therefore he knows not love. love gives. the intellect takes.

This is part of an article on Hillbuzz today. It is called three things BOites will do to demoralize McCain voters or something like that. It hought it was funny and it pretty well describes many of the BO supporters I have met.

“We also feel young voters are the Holy Grail of election delusions, because every Democrat, every election, claims “young people love me and will come out in record numbers to vote for me!”. Well, let us just tell you that early voting ended today in Chicago. In our building, there is a suite full of about 6 frat boys who sometimes stop us in the laundry room to talk politics. They are all hot DePaul hockey players, so we are glad to chat them up any time they want. All of them said they were going to vote for Obama, and all of them forgot to early vote. All of them have class and work on Tuesday. We honestly believe all 6 of these guys are going to forget to vote on Election Day — and the polling station for our neighborhood is literally one street away. We think this will happen not just with the hot hockey players in our building, but in many other buildings in Chicago, and in cities across the US.

As you move out of urban areas, it becomes more of a challenge to get to polling places, as they get further and further apart. That means college students, and Obama’s youth army, need to move further and further out of their daily norm to actually vote. With class, work, and Nintendo Wii, that becomes a big burden, especially since they’re going to whoop it up all Halloween weekend having an absolute drunken blast, and will have a lot to catch up on come Tuesday, since Monday they will be still hungover and not functional.

We’re astonished no one has ever thought of this before to explain why young people don’t turn up to vote in the numbers the media predicts: it’s because of Halloween. Not JUST because of Halloween, but Halloween has a lot to do with it, especially this year, when Halloween falls in perfect synch to form three days of wild, costumed debauchery. Monday is hangover day, which means nothing got done Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and now Monday, so Tuesday pressure builds to catchup on class or work or whatever.

Ironically, the Obamedia’s constant drumbeat that Obama’s so far ahead will, ironically, keep a lot of these people from actually voting — since they think he will win in a landslide without them, and one vote doesn’t matter. “Oh, we meant to vote, but we got, like, busy. And stuff.”

AP: Obama aunt from Kenya living in US illegally

Nov 1 12:08 AM US/Eastern
By EILEEN SULLIVAN and ELLIOT SPAGAT
Associated Press Writers 14 Comments

WASHINGTON (AP) – Barack Obama’s aunt, a Kenyan woman who has been quietly living in public housing in Boston, is in the United States illegally after an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, The Associated Press has learned.
Zeituni Onyango, 56, referred to as “Aunti Zeituni” in Obama’s memoir, was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP late Friday. This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango’s case.

Information about the deportation case was disclosed and confirmed by two separate sources, one of them a federal law enforcment official. The information they made available is known to officials in the federal government, but the AP could not establish whether anyone at a political level in the Bush administration or in the McCain campaign had been involved in its release.

Onyango’s refusal to leave the country would represent an administrative, non-criminal violation of U.S. immigration law, meaning such cases are handled outside the criminal court system. Estimates vary, but many experts believe there are more than 10 million such immigrants in the United States.

The AP could not reach Onyango immediately for comment. No one answered the telephone number listed in her name late Friday. It was unclear why her request for asylum was rejected in 2004.

Onyango is not a relative whom Obama has discussed in campaign appearances and, unlike Obama’s father and grandmother, is not someone who has been part of the public discussion about his personal life.

A spokeswoman for U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, Kelly Nantel, said the government does not comment on an individual’s citizenship status or immigration case.

Onyango’s case—coming to light just days before the presidential election—led to an unusual nationwide directive within Immigrations and Customs Enforcement requiring any deportations prior to Tuesday’s election to be approved at least at the level of ICE regional directors, the U.S. law enforcement official told the AP.

The unusual directive suggests that the Bush administration is sensitive to the political implications of Onyango’s case coming to light so close to the election.

Kenya is in eastern Africa between Somalia and Tanzania. The country has been fractured in violence in recent years, including a period of two months of bloodshed after December 2007 that killed 1,500 people.

The disclosure about Onyango came just one day after Obama’s presidential campaign confirmed to the Times of London that Onyango, who has lived quietly in public housing in South Boston for five years, was Obama’s half aunt on his father’s side.

It was not immediately clear how Onyango might have qualified for public housing with a standing deportation order.

Thank you, I’ve had to spend less time blogging as things came up in my personal life. So, when I’d get free time I’d spend it catching up and after reading everything, all that I could have said was already said, so I’d shut down my computer and then I’d sleep. Holy! miss reading for three days and you have hours and hours of reading. I’ll definitely be here election night, wouldn’t miss that for the world.

it’s good to see you too :)

I suggest all Pumas so inclined visit Bill Ayers’ blog and post comments.

Murphy I do not understand why you would want anyone to post any comments at Bill Ayers website.
I went and started to comment on his One Person/ One Vote…no exceptions And then I stopped in midsentence, I felt like I need a good shower scrub just visiting that murderer.

So why would anyone want to make his website popular or engage in his rhetoric. I don’t understand your request. Sorry Murphy.

My BO supporting son said I should not wear the shirt. (Although he thinks nothing about wearing his dominatrix
Palin shirt everywhere.) My GOP friend lent it to me. I think it went over pretty well. There is something going on with the BO people I know. I reminded them that the taxation limit was now $120,000. Maybe that it is it? They live in a gated community. I told her parents that we have a full gun safe if they need to borrow one. HeeHee.

Increasing Racial Tension In Middle School as Election Turns Ugly

Over the past month I´ve seen a disturbing pattern taking place in my children´s middle school. We live in the outlying suburbs of Tampa Fl. The demographics here are middle to upper middle class divided fairly equal between different races and cultures. Race had never been an issue in the area we live. I had considered it a very progressive and forward thinking area. But over the past few weeks my child has come home with disturbing tales of increasing racism . My son has been called racist slurs such as cracker and whitey by a a black 6th grade boy. On another occasion my 12 year old son was called a F******* Racist for not loaning a black child a pencil. He has been told by the same black child that if my son lived in his neighborhood he would be dead! In addition to all this Children have been writing Go Bamako and Obama Rules on their Arms with Magic Markers. This week there were white and black children handing out handmade index cards some saying McCain Sucks and some saying Obama Rules. I find this disturbing mostly because it seems that the teachers are not doing anything about it. I really don´t know what to do about any of it. I worry about my kids going to school if things get much worse.

GEE, I wonder why the teachers aren’t doing anything! Hmmm…

121 wewillwin: You need to think of something really fun or restorative to do Tuesday during the election. Everyone does. You can’t control what happens so there is no reason to stress about it. You can’t trust anything you hear on the “news”, they make stuff up when they lack real info. Just vote and then withdraw until midnight which still might be too soon. I live in Washington, they call the election every year before our polls are even closed, we just ignore them and vote anyway. Think of Hawaii! The election will be called by the MSM several hours after their polls open.

Here are my suggestions as to what to do on election day. This weekend make 2 lists one of ten free things you love to do, one of ten things that cost money that you like to do. Then start working your way through them when the stress gets to you. Free ideas…look at old photographs, call friends but do not talk of stressful things, call older relative you rarely see, go for a walk in the falling leaves, watch the sunset. Ideas involving money… go to a movie, go out to eat, pick out a new book, buy new shoes, get your hair cut and colored. Keep thinking until you come up with ten on each list.

wewillwin #154. Wasn’t me. Read that on the NQ blog, but I’ve heard that stuff from many different quarters. One thing I’ve seen from all of this is that WE–PUMAs + We REPUBS who are actually paying attention ARE the ones they didn’t count on. The strategy was to do what others here tonight have talked about: pit one against the other, brother against brother, divide and conquer. Race against race (RACIST!), Class against class (Tax increase “only” for the rich), regional (All those PA people clinging to their guns and religion), religious (Muslims, Christians).

Ah, but they weren’t counting on us coming together to defeat them. They were hoping their little smoke screens would work. But the PUMAS (God bless you all, and I truly mean that!) didn’t fall for it! You didn’t fall in line like Sheeple. You stood up. And now we will all stand together!

I so remember that poem from Nazi Germany. They came for the old, and I didn’t stand up and fight because I wasn’t old. They came for the weak, and I said nothing because I was not weak. They came for the Jews, and I said nothing because I was not Jewish. They came for the Catholics, and I said nothing because I wasn’t Catholic. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to stand up with me.

(Bad paraphrase, but you get the idea.) They were counting on us staying asleep. Thank God for Murphy and all you other AWESOME PUMAS! I’ve been praying and praying and praying for months now that someone would stand up. You already had…

I quoted the original of that poem here some time ago, so here’s the repeat:

Martin Niemoeller, ‘First They Came’:

First they came for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.

Then they came for me,
and by that time no one was left to speak up.

Hi DWP—what do you think? Is McCain going to pull this off?

Its on Drudge.

http://drudgereport.com/

ZOGBY SATURDAY: McCain outpolled Obama 48% to 47% in Friday poll. He is beginning to cut into Obama’s lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all…

ONE DAY POLLING:
McCain 48%
Obama – 47%

THREE DAY AVERAGE (Last three days):
Obama 49%
McCain 44%

Welcome to Puma Pac! It takes hours to catch up with all the posts. However, your comments posted on Friday really caught my attention. Your stories are another piece of the puzzle and anecdoctal evidence that this race is very close.

BO, the MSM, the DP, and the pollsters are trying to suppress voter turnout. It is a head fake.

Good night all…I plan to make calls for McCain at the Rep. headquarters on Saturday.

This is a company that needs to be destroyed.”

I could not agree more. No matter who wins we need to shut down ACORN and then attack Annenberg and the Woods fund and any other organization that has backed Ayers and Obama. These groups need to be shut down if they are like ACORN. If they are grant giving organizations like Annenberg and Woods, then they need to be held responsible for what ever they are doing with money that someone worked for and is now being indiscriminately given to just anyone no matter what the original founder intended.

Any links or quotes you have dug up on Ayers and Obama, or the time Ayers was at Columbia, during the same time period as Obama should be sent to Sean Hannity at Fox News.

Do not waste time sending it to Bill O’Reilly or Greta, if you have not sent it to Hannity. Send to Hannity first and then if you have time send it on to Greta and O’Reilly.

If you still have some time, then send it on to CNN and Glen Beck

Then if you still have time, send it to CBS and ABC. Let NBC die for their lack of info. If CBS and NBC do not post the info then we know they do not want to continue as news organizations.

OBAMA & DNC VIOLATE GAMING LAWS FOR YET A THIRD TIME
Barack Obama, the DNC, and Obama for America have already on two separate occasions been instructed by the State of Minnesota and 35 other states, that it is against gaming laws to operate a raffle across state lines and via the internet.

In July I exposed the Obama campaign operating an illegal raffle by telling anyone who donated $5 or more by July 31, 2008 would enter them in a drawing for one of 10 expense paid trips to the DNC Convention in Denver and a backstage meeting with Barack Obama. The following morning after my blog article, the Minn/St. Paul Star-Tribune, Chicago Tribune and Fox news reported the story and the Obama campaign was instructed by Minnesota Gaming Officials the offer was indeed an illegal raffle.

Well the Obama campaign and DNC seem to feel they can ignore the orders to stop operating internet raffles, because they have a new “Be a Part of History” raffle being run.

The latest “illegal raffle” being operated by Obama for America, Barack Obama and the DNC states:

“Show your support at this crucial time with a donation of $25 or more and you could join me on election night,” the message says. “If you’re
selected, you can bring a guest and we’ll fly you in and put you up in a hotel. You’ll go backstage at the big event. You’ll have a front row seat to history.”

http://cbs2chicago.com/local/Obama.raffle.email.2.853681.html

As was explained to Obama Campaign officials in July by Minnesota Gaming Officials, “when their is a prize being offered at a game of chance with a monetary value set to participate you are engaging in a gambling operation that is illegal.” The state also informed Obama for America that only certain non-profit groups were permitted to operate raffles.

Despite the Obama Campaign having been told by some 35 states on two separate occasions that this is illegal and cannot continue, the Obama Campaign and the DNC set up yet a third illegal raffle. This time even a Chicago TV station that has gone to great lengths to protect Obama and his former church have finally reported on the third illegal raffle being operated by the Obama campaign in the final days of the election.

Maybe the third time will be the charm and Law Enforcement file charges for this blatant slap in the face to officials

I actually respected Murtha. These leaders have sacrificed themselves and their careers for Barack Obama. You don’t see obama going out there helping his collegue. No, Bill and hillary are tyring to raise money for him to keep his seat even after he said the most stupid things.

obama will do whatever for himself. Today, his campaign threw BILL RICHARDSON under the bus by saying in response to questions about Richardson saying 120,000 and lower will get a tax break “well we can’t be responsible for what every surrogate might say”

SURROGATE??? YOU CANJ’T BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT BILL RICHARDSON MIGHT SAY? HE’S BEEN ONE OF YOUR FIRST HIT MEN FOR THE PRIMARIES AND NOW HE’S JUST SOME SURROGATE WITH NO REAL AFFILIATION OR RESPONSIBILITY TO THE CAMPAIGN.

On Not Your Sweetie this morning, they say Obama’s campaign is worried about the number of PUMAs who won’t vote for him.
This is from Obama’s campaign polls:

“Hillary voters. Internal polling suggests that at best, we are taking 70-75% of these voters. Other estimates are as low as 60% in some areas – particularly Ohio and western PA.”

253

Grizzly 11.01.08 at 8:05 am

So, Ayers decided to trade bombs for textbooks. Not at all inconsistent with the Communist goal of infiltrating the educational system to facilititate indoctrination of the youth of a country.

How well is it working? Perhaps some day soon you will see the following as part of standard training:

“A RACIST: A racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality. By this definition, people of color cannot be racists, because as peoples within the U.S. system, they do not have the power to back up their prejudices, hostilities, or acts of discrimination. (This does not deny the existence of such prejudices, hostilities, acts of rage or discrimination.)” – Page 3

“REVERSE RACISM: A term created and used by white people to deny their white privilege. Those in denial use the term reverse racism to refer to hostile behavior by people of color toward whites, and to affirmative action policies, which allegedly give ‘preferential treatment’ to people of color over whites. In the U.S., there is no such thing as ‘reverse racism.’” – Page 3

“A NON-RACIST: A non-term. The term was created by whites to deny responsibility for systemic racism, to maintain an aura of innocence in the face of racial oppression, and to shift responsibility for that oppression from whites to people of color (called “blaming the victim”). Responsibility for perpetuating and legitimizing a racist system rests both on those who actively maintain it, and on those who refuse to challenge it. Silence is consent.” – Page 3

“Have you ever heard a well-meaning white person say, ‘I’m not a member of any race except the human race?’ What she usually means by this statement is that she doesn’t want to perpetuate racial categories by acknowledging that she is white. This is an evasion of responsibility for her participation in a system based on supremacy for white people.” – Page 8

That “some day” was just last year: http://www.thefire.org/pdfs/730a8163b35b360f8edd2b889c832ce9.pdf

The preceding, up until just last year, was required for all students at the University of Delaware.

“…August 2007 “diversity facilitation training” session at which they received a list of “definitions and descriptions of racism.” Those definitions included: “A RACIST: A racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality”; “REVERSE RACISM: A term created and used by white people to deny their white privilege”; and “A NON-RACIST: A non term. The term was created by whites to deny responsibility for systemic racism..” (Emphases added.)

http://www.thefire.org/index.php/article/8547.html

And it just wasn’t the University of Delaware. I recall at the time doing a search and discovering virtually identical programs being required at many other major universities and colleges – many of which were Catholic Universities like Norte Dame and Holy Cross. I believe I found this by searching the group that was providing the materials and instruction.

Thank goodness for groups like FIRE, but one has to wonder just what is going on at out public grade schools and high schools. Just how far does this go? Teaching our children that they are hopelessly racist because of the color of their skin is no different to me than the KKK professing race superiority based on the same standard.

And Bill Ayers and others in Obama’s inner circle are smack in the middle of programs like the one just described. That’s a heck of a future we have to look forward to in an Obama Administration.

254

NoHillaryNoVote 11.01.08 at 8:06 am

We have to much important work to do now to beat Obama in the next few days.

But when the election ends – the attention regarding the media bias story cannot end!!! There must be a backlash & outcry from the public to let media know Wrong – Wrong – Wrong!!!

When this election is over, I hope the mainstream media gets their hands smacked big-time for the Obama media bias.

Anyone running against Obama received negative media coverage – first Hillary then McCain-Palin.

Two studies have documented the bias, so the media can’t say it isn’t true. Yahoo articles below summarize studies.

When this election ends, this part of the story (media bias) cannot be simply put aside. The media cannot be allowed to just get a free ride as if what they did was correct – especially regarding how the media attacked the women candidates (both Hillary C & Sarah P).

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081101/ap_on_el_pr/campaign_media;_ylt=AlfLpiFXYLVmoHZrSM1hpuus0NUE

Center for Media and Public Affairs.

I am not sure what the price is that media needs to pay – but there has to be something that can be done – after the election – to let them feel some pain.

Nice work Grizzly. I guess Obama would name Non-Repentant Terrorist Ayers as Secretary of Education.

What guts they have to live in Hyde Park in mansions. Why don’t they live in the South Side, in one of Rezko’s “nice buildings.”

Obama, Ayers, Wright, etc., they’re all “Do as I say, not do as I do.”

Now Obama is saying people who don’t want to pay higher taxes are SELFISH! I guess ACORN is selfish also.

FOXNews is getting all over Obama for calling us selfish! I hope the RNC or some PAC pounces on the airwaves with this.

Keep talking NOBAMA, keep digging yourself in deeper. You’re making our job easier.

Indy – don’t forget , all of those people , and the economy , and the daily lowering of the tax limit from 250 to 200 to 125 etc. All of that is a distraction from the fact that every single person from Ayers to Wright , to Powers – everyone that works in his innermost circle on his staff have one thing in common – they have all spoken out against Israel , or have called for the elimination of Israel as a country .
We may be to close to the election for even Hannity to connect the dots , but with Pumas like Grizzly and Kat etc. we still stand a chance of getting that info out there …

Good morning:

I’ve decided not to watch TV until November 5th.
Here’s an interesting web page on America’s past presidential
elections…,interesting, nixon had a real close one…

http://uselectionatlas.org/RESULTS/

If you remember in the primaries when they started between obama
and hillary it was the media that made the primary campaign a racial and gender format.

I hate them for that and they are to blame if there are trouble in
in the streets. They should not have done that in my opinion.

I hope today something breaks…

I do admire all those PUMAs who go door to door etc. what energy
and enthusiasm. A party you deserve after all your hard work which
is very much appreciated. Keep your chins up and don’t watch the TV
and don’t take notice of the polls until it is over.

I think the results will take a while to sort out, it may take
until the end of November who knows. I am going to pray that McCain/Palin gets in.

Have a Good Day!

Let me tell you first how happy I am to be able to leave a comment here again. I’ve tried several times over the last few weeks, but I did not manage to : problems of password or identification, I don’t really know !
I hope none of you thought I had let you down…
I hope none of you thought I had given up…
I’ve always been here, even if I could not send you any message…

I was quite frustrated, and suddenly today, a miracle happened : I changed my user’s name from : delphinefromfrance to delphine, and changed my password too : and it worked !

I am so happy !
Now there are only three days left : and I want to be with you… Missing these moments would have been terrible…

I know we are going to live great hours together…

Here in France, everybody is already preparing the victory party for Obama…

But I am resisting, with some McCain / Palin supporters, and some French people who can’t stand Obama either (there are some, fortunately !…)
I am resisting with you, my dear PUMAS…

It has been hard sometimes, especially when I watched Hillary fall in line…

But I have continued to assert that “Hillary was a better choice than Obama” on my blog :
bilingual French / English, if you want to have a look at it :

http://hillary.meilleur.choix.qu-obama.over-blog.com/

And I really want to thank you for everything you have done…
I know that thanks to you Obama won’t be elected !
and on Tuesday night you will have millions of reasons to be proud of yourselves…
And France will thank you too…

Congratulations, PUMAS !

Taggles1 “So if Obama raised 700M and there are approx. 300M people in the US he could have given each person in the US over 2M dollars. That is obscene.”

By my calculation that would be $2.33 each…..still an obscene amount for him to raise and SPEND. And we still don’t know WHERE he got all that money from. I’m surprisd the foreign and other fraudulent sources hasn’t gotten more traction. From the beginning I have thought something is VERY FISHY. I thought the FEC was investigating his campaign contributions?? Has anyone been following that?

I think his funds are starting to dry up because I have received four emails in the past two days, two more this morning, begging for money, “even $5 will help”. And one this morning offers a front row seat at this acceptance speech in Grant Park for the first five donors before Sunday night.
Just as his hype that he’s winning brought in the dough, now that he’s being exposed more and McCain is gaining, the money
isn’t coming in. HaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHaaaaaaaaaaaaa

No, no, no. 700M divided by 300M = $2.33.

Going to make phonecalls today. :)

Had a conversation with an obot friend of mine. Well, we’ve managed to stay friends, but it may not last until the the 4th. She can’t understand why I wouldn’t vote for BO “to make history.” I can’t understand why people would want to vote for him to make history!!! He doesn’t deserve to be POTUS. You don’t marry the first person you date because you know they are not right / qualified! You don’t have to vote someone in office just because they are first to break a barrier!! He’s not qualified. She saw no logic in my argument. I think she’s bathing in koolaid now. A lot of my friends are :( I think I’ve swung two of my undecided friends to vote for McCain in VA.

Michelle Obama and Bernardine Dhorn both work at a law firm together, Sidley Austin. Dohrn goes to Northwestern. Michelle Obama does to Northwestern. Michelle’s brother is hired as a basketball coach at Northwestern. Ayers father is on the board of Northwestern. My, oh my!

Here is a version with proper links:

Michelle Obama was an accociate at the law firm if Sidley Austin in the late 1980’s. Given the fact that these large law firms typically hire associated based on their summer intern programs, it is likely that she was an intern at the firm before she graduated from law school before she became an associate.

Barak came on as a summer associate at Sidley Austin in 1988. Michelle Robinson was assigned as his “mentor” at the firm.

Also employed at Sidley Austin in 1988 – Bernadette Dohrn. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernardine_Dohrn One wonders whether Dohrn was Michelle’s “mentor”. http://oldatlanticlighthouse.wordpress.com/2008/04/22/was-bernardine-dohrn-the-mentor-of-michelle-obama-at-sidley-austin/

Dohrn went to work at Northwestern University after working at the law firm. Bill Ayers father was on the board there. http://dyn.politico.com/members/forums/thread.cfm?catid=2&subcatid=30&threadid=703096 Northwestern hired Michelle Obama’s brother as its assistant basketball coach. http://www.chicagomag.com/Chicago-Magazine/October-2004/First-Lady-in-Waiting/ Michelle Obama was one of the original faculty members at the Asset-Based Community Development Institute at Northwestern University. http://www.publicallies.org/site/c.liKUL3PNLvF/b.3960231/

It was Michelle Obama who organized a few of the speaking panels on which Barak and Ayers appeared together.

********* VERY LONG, BUT HAD TO SHARE FROM YAHOO GROUP *********

This person wrote a letter to Senator Obama and it is circulating the web. It summarizes all that has happened during this whole campaign.

THIS ONE YOU MUST READ AND SEND OUT TO ALL YOU CAN……….

I know that many of you are sick and tired of all this political BS but if you read just one more thing between now and next month’s election, I urge you to read the following editorial. I don’t
know who ‘Michael Masters’ is or what he does, but he does write cogently and well. A Google search turns up a Michael Masters who is a lawyer in Philadelphia, but I don’t believe that he is
the author of this open letter. There is a ‘Michael C. Masters’ who lives in McLean, VA I presume, but do not know, for sure, that he is the author. However, he didn’t show up in any Google searches that I conducted, so I guess he isn’t ‘notorious’ enough to be found. I look at that as a good thing, however. On the surface,
that suggests he is just another citizen like the rest of us and has no particular ax to grind. However, he HAS done his homework before writing this editorial.

To Barack Hussein Obama,

The New York Times carried a story on Saturday, October 4, 2008, that proved you had a significantly closer relationship with Bill Ayers than what you previously admitted. While the issue of your relationship is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about it.

The Chicago Sun reported on May 8, 2008, that FBI records showed that you had a significantly closer relationship with Tony Rezko than what you previously admitted. In the interview, you said
that you only saw Mr. Rezko a couple of times a year. The FBI files showed that you saw him weekly. While the issue of your relationship is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about it.

Your speech in Philadelphia on March 18, 2008, about ‘race’ contradicted your statement to Anderson Cooper on March 14 when you said that you never heard Reverend Wright make his negative
statements about white America. While your attendance at Trinity Church for 20 years is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America on March 14.

In your 1st debate with John McCain, you said that you never said that you would meet with the leaders of Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea without ‘preparations’ at lower levels … Joe
Biden repeated your words in his debate with Sarah Palin … while the video tape from your debate last February clearly shows that you answered ‘I would’ to the question of meeting with those leaders within 12 months without ‘any’ preconditions. While your judgment about meeting with enemies of the USA without pre-conditions is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied
to America in the debate with McCain.

On July 14, 2008, you said that you always knew that the surge would work while the video tapes of you from more than=2 0a year ago show that you stated that the surge would not work. While your
judgment about military strategy as a potential commander-in-chief is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America on July 14.

You now claim that your reason for voting against funding for the troops was because the bill did not include a time line for withdrawal, while the video tapes of you from more than a year ago show that you voted against additional funding because
you wanted our troops to be removed immediately … not in 16 months after the 2008 election as you now claim. While your judgment about removing our troops unilaterally in 2007 is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about your previous position.

You claim to have a record of working with Republicans while the record shows that the only bill that you sponsored with a Republican was with Chuck Lugar … and it failed. The record
shows that you vote 97% in concert with the Democrat party and that you have the most liberal voting record in the Senate. You joined
Republicans only 13% of the time in your votes and those 13% were only after agreement from the Democrat party. While it is of concern that you fail to include conservatives in your actions and
that you are such a liberal, the greater concern is that you distorted the truth.

In the primary debates of last February, 2008, you claimed to have talked with a ‘Captain’ of a platoon in Afghanistan ‘the other day’ when in fact you had a discussion in 2003 with a Lieutenant who had just been deployed to Afghanistan. You lied in that debate.

In your debates last spring, you claimed to have been a ‘professor of Constitutional law’ when in fact you have never been a professor of Constitutional law. In this last debate, you were careful to say that you ‘taught a law class’ and never mentioned being a ‘professor of Constitutional law.’ You lied last spring.

You and Joe Biden both claimed that John McCain voted against additional funding for our troops when the actual records show the opposite. You distorted the truth.

You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted against funding for alternate energy sources 20 times when the record shows that John McCain specifically voted against funding for bio fuels, especially corn … and he was right …. corn is too expensive at producing ethanol, and using corn to make ethanol increased the price of corn
from $2 a bushel to $6 a bushel for food. You distorted the truth.

You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted like both of you for a tax increase on those making as little as $42,000 per year while the voting record clearly shows that John McCain did not vote as you and Joe Biden. You lied to America.

You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted with George W. Bush 90% of the time when you know that Democrats also vote 90% of the time with the President (including Joe Biden) because the vast
majority of the votes are procedural. You are one of the few who has not voted 90% of the time with the president because you have been missing from the Senate since the day you got elected. While
your absence from your job in the Senate is of concern, the greater concern is that you spin the facts.

You did not take an active role in the rescue plan. You claimed that the Senate did not need you while the real reason that you abstained was because of your close relationships with the
executives of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Countrywide, and Acorn … who all helped cause the financial problems of today … and they all made major contributions to your campaign. While your relationship with these executives and your protection of them for your brief 3 years in the Senate (along with Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, and Chris Dodd) is of concern, the
greater concern is that you are being deceitful.

You forgot to mention that you personally represented Tony Rezko and Acorn. Tony Rezko, an Arab and close friend to you, was convicted of fraud in Chicago real estate transactions that
bilked millions of tax dollars from the Illinois government for renovation projects that you sponsored as a state senator … and Acorn has been convicted of voter fraud, real estate sub prime loan intimidation, and illegal campaign contributions. Tony Rezko has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to your political campaigns. You personally used your political positions to steer money to both Tony Rezko and Acorn and you used Acorn to register
thousands of phony voters for Democrats and you. While your relationships with Rezko and Acorn are of concern, the greater concern is that you omitted important facts about your relationships with them to America.

During your campaign, you said: ‘typical white person.’ ‘They cling to their guns and religion.’ ‘They will say that I am black.’ You played the ace card. You tried to label any criticism about
you as racist. You divide America.

You claim that you will reduce taxes for 95% of America, but you forgot to tell America that those reductions are after you remove the Bush tax reductions. You have requested close to $1 billion in earmarks and several million for Acorn. Your social programs will cost America $1 trillion per year and you claim that a reduction
in military spending ($100 billion for Iraq) can pay for it. While your economic plan of adding 30% to the size of our federal government is of concern, the greater concern is that you are deceiving America.

The drain to America’s economy by foreign supplied oil is $700 billion per year (5% of GDP) while the war in Iraq is $100 billion (less than 1% of GDP). You voted against any increases to oil exploration for the last 3 years and any expansion of nuclear facilities. Yet today, you say that you have always been for more oil and more nuclear. You are lying to America.

Mr. Obama, you claimed that you ‘changed’ your mind about public financing for your campaign because of the money spent by republican PACs in 2004. The truth is that the Democrat PACs in
2004, 2006, and 2008 spent twice as much as the Republican PACs (especially George Soros and MoveOn.org). You are lying to America.

Mr. Obama, you have done nothing to stop the actions of the teachers union and college professors in the USA. They eliminated religion from our history. They teach pro gay agendas and discuss sex with students as young as first grade. They bring their personal politics into the classrooms. They disparage conservatives. They brainwash our children. They are in it for
themselves ….. not America. Are you reluctant to condemn their actions because teachers/professors and the NEA contribute 25% of
all money donated to Democrats and none to Republicans? You are deceiving America.

Oh, Mr. Obama, Teddy Roosevelt said about a hundred years ago that we Americans should first look at the character of our leaders before anything else.

Your character looks horrible. While you make good speeches, motivating speeches, your character does not match your rhetoric. You talk the talk, but do not walk the walk.

1. You lied to America. You lied many times. You distorted facts. You parsed your answers like a lawyer.

2. You distorted the record of John McCain in your words and in your advertisements.

3. You had associations with some very bad people for your personal political gains and then lied about those associations.

4. You divide America about race and about class.

Now let me compare your record of lies, distortions, race baiting, and associations to John McCain: War hero. Annapolis graduate with
‘Country first.’ Operational leadership experience like all 43 previously elected presidents of the USA as a Navy officer for 22
years. 26 years in the Senate. Straight talk. Maverick. 54% of the time participated on bills with Democrats. Never asked for an earmark. The only blemish on his record is his part in the
Keating 5 debacle about 25 years ago.

Mr. Obama, at Harvard Law School, you learned that the end does not justify the means. You learned that perjury, false witness, dishonesty, distortion of truth are never tolerated. Yet, your dishonesty is overwhelming. Your dishonesty is tremendously greater than the dishonesty that caused the impeachment and disbarment of Bill Clinton. Your dishonesty is tremendously greater than the dishonesty of Scooter Libby. You should be ashamed.

Mr. Obama, it is time for us Americans to put aside our differences on political issues and vote against you because of your dishonest
character. It is time for all of us Americans to put aside our political issues and vote for America first. It is time for America to vote for honesty.

Any people who vote for you after understanding that you are dishonest should be ashamed of themselves for making their personal political issues more important than character. Would these
same people vote for the anti-Christ if the anti-Christ promised them riches? Would they make a golden calf while Moses was up the mountain? Would they hire some one for a job if that someone lied in an interview? Of course not. So why do some of these people justify their votes for you even though they know you are dishonest? Why do they excuse your dishonesty? Because some
of these people are frightened about the future, the economy, and their financial security …. and you are preying on their fears with empty promises … and because some (especially our young people) are consumed by your wonderful style and promises for ‘change’ like the Germans who voted for Adolf Hitler in 1932. The greed/envy by Germans in 1932 kept them from recognizing Hitler for who he was. They loved his style. Greed and envy are keeping many Americans from recognizing you … your style has camouflaged your dishonesty …. but many of us see you for who you really are … and we will not stop exposing who you are every day, forever if it is necessary.

Mr. Obama, you are dishonest. Anyone who votes for you is enabling dishonesty.

Mr. Obama, America cannot trust that you will put America first in your decisions about the future.

Mr. Obama, you are not the ‘change’ that America deserves. We cannot trust you.

Mr. Obama, You are not ready and not fit to be commander-in-chief.

Mr. Obama, John McCain does not have as much money as your campaign to refute all of your false statements. And for whatever reasons, the mainstream media will not give adequate coverage or research about your lies, distortions, word parsing, bad associations, race baiting, lack of operational leadership experience, and generally
dishonest character. The media is diverting our attention from your relationships and ignoring the fact that you lied about those relationships. The fact that you lied is much more important
than the relationships themselves …. just like with Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon … Monica Lewinski and Watergate were not nearly as bad as the fact that those men lied about the events … false witness … perjury … your relationships and bad judgments are bad on their own …. but your lies are even worse.

Therefore, by copy of this memo, all who read this memo are asked to send it to everyone else in America before it is too late. We need to do the job that the media will not do. We need to
expose your dishonesty so that every person in America understands who you really are before election day.

Mr. Obama, in a democracy, we get what we deserve. And God help America if we deserve you.

Obama says you don’t like higher taxes – then you are selfish

You will find this story is on lots of Internet blogs, but you do not hear being mentioned by most mainstream tv news shows (except Fox news).

To my surprise ABC news first published the story on a blog on their site.
(Thanks to indy for mentioning here on PUMA blog yesterday)

Quote: “Barack Obama gave John McCain another pre-Election Day gift this morning in remarks made to a Sarasota, Florida audience. After telling Joe the Plumber in Ohio that he wants government to “spread the wealth,” Obama told Floridians that opposition to such policies amounted to “selfishness”

Last night trick or treating with a bunch of old friends (and kids) the children, instead of saying trick or treat, they were chanting O B A M A O B A M A……..at peoples doors.
The whole party was a love fest for bobo, not only that, they were already celebrating his win!!!!!! Due to the fact that I didnt join in with the pro-BO rally and kept quiet, I am no longer part of the group. I have been good friends with this group for years, but they made it very clear to me last night. “If you dont support bobo, then they could not longer be friends with us”. I was floored. I kept quiet out of respect for them, this is how it ends. oh well……..

Dances: As far as I can ascertain regarding the colors used in banners/flags etc., in socialist symbolism, the color white has historically been used to represent absolutist monarchists, especially in European countries.

Even after MCCain wins – it will be critical that we expose Obama and lay him and his real motives bare in front of the American people so he does not rear his ugly head again in 4 years !

Good PAPUMA morning!
Allentown’s Morning Call newspaper had a story this am about the woman running against Biden in Delaware. Yes, he’s on the ballot twice-for VP AND Senate. I went to her website to check her out. She’s actually another AWESOME woman candidate.
http://www.christineodonnell08.com
As a teacher, I like her ed philosophy:
Christine will work to ensure that our children do not suffer from funding crises and swings, by exploring Federal solutions to provide continuity.
Christine will advocate for academic equality for all children, regardless of economic status, neighborhood or background. Christine will fight to ensure that every child has access to the education he or she deserves.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could help her win in Delaware? Anyone in Delaware, pass it on!

I do not know what to believe any more. the MSM says McCain is doomed and Obama has a landslide. now on Texas Darling web site there is a report that McCain will win in a landslide.

it is an audio report off a radio station. Someone claims to be reporting internal GOP polling. Claims to win New Jersey in a landslide. That people are fed up with Obama being dishonest. or something. you listen and tell me what you think.

WOW – I’ve got tears rolling down my eyes!! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT FOR AMERICA!! – John McCain

STAND UP AND FIGHT!!

——————————

Yup, Gypsy. It gets me every time he uses those lines for some reason. I think part of it has to do with the fact that Hillary used that same “fighter” strategy, albeit late in her campaign but that’s when she really started to catch fire. So I guess its a bit of sentimentality to hear and see McCain using that same strategy now. More then anything though, it also makes me extremely proud to be an American because that is what we are made of, we will never lay over for this fraud [BO] who would presume to be President of this great nation of hard-working fighters like us!

as far as obama, it actually proves he was born in hawaii therefore a us a citizen, the father maybe davis tho. all he rants about that obama is a liar….well that’s not new, he has lied from the very beginning.

i was excited there for a minute and also note that the article from honolulu is dated november lst, that’s tomorrow? something wrong there. there’s only 3 hrs. ahead in honolulu from the west coast anyway. quite frankly this martin guy i think he is a manic-depressive personality…

Also suppose to win Michigan. So with New Jersey and Michigan McCain should win the election. I dont know what to believe.

Of course this entire report could be all baloney sandwiches on rye but missing the mustard & pickles. Or maybe just maybe people are waking up. Are we experiencing a genuine miracle.

Did Hillary say Obama could not win the election. He certainly has enough MSM support and money. He even has Bill and Hillary out there. And then Joe Biden is wo wonderful. He is such a happy drunk. He will not be so happy going through detox. Obambie will blame Hillary for the loss. Of course it is the women who take all the shit.

If you cannot go door-to-door then making phone calls for McCain-Palin can make a difference!

Sign Up for the McCain-Palin phone bank
https://secure.johnmccain.com//Secure/Signup.aspx?smode=phonebank

You may ask – Why make these calls?

I read an article today that said according to a political scientist from Williams College who has studied the role emotion plays in politics – negative feelings about a campaign can “discourage” voters.

However such emotions can be OVERCOME by outside events, such as a campaign or neighbor URGING a person to vote.

YOUR PHONE CALL may be the one call that encourages someone to go vote for McCain-Palin – someone who might be feeling discouraged by all the biased media, or who might be less inclined due to the long lines at voting centers in many cities.

California is close Obambie is 44% with McCain at 43% with 9% undecided. That is enough to get the win. I believe McCain will get more than half the undecided.

These are daily polls to be done every day up to election.

Just got this in my email from a McCain blogger:
****
One sunny day in 2009, an elderly man arose from the park bench on which he had been sitting and approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue ,

He spoke to the Marine standing guard and said, ‘I would like to go in and meet with President Barack Obama.’

The Marine replied, ‘Sir, Mr. Obama is not President and he doesn’t live here.’

The old man said, ‘Okay,’ and walked away.

The following day, the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, ‘I would like to go in and meet with President Barack Obama’.

The Marine again told the man, ‘Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Obama is not President and doesn’t live here.’

The man thanked him and again walked away.

The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same Marine, saying ‘I would like to go in and meet with President Barack Obama’

The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, ‘Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Obama. I’ve told you already several times that Mr. Obama is not the President and doesn’t live here. Don’t you understand?’

The old man answered, ‘Oh, I understand you fine. I just love hearing your answer.’

The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, ‘See you tomorrow, sir.’

Now get out there and work hard to make this joke a reality on NOV 4! VOTE MCCAIN FOR PRESIDENT!

Morning Pumas – I don’t always post everyday although I do check in just about every single day & read thru several threads to see what’s happening……….been a member of the PAC since June 5 and like to think that sometimes I do contribute interesting info -

I particularly noticed the quote of the day (for today I quess) – just thought I would let you know that I posted this same info:

Susie1945 10.30.08 at 1:00 am

Here’s a little something to chew on PUMAs –

Here’s a quote from the Oct. 14 British Spectator that sums it
up perfectly:

“You have to pinch yourself — a Marxist radical who all his
life has been mentored by, sat at the feet of, worshiped with, befriended, endorsed the philosophy of, funded and been in turn funded, politically promoted and supported by a nexus
comprising black power anti-white racists, Jew-haters,
revolutionary Marxists, unrepentant former terrorists and
Chicago mobsters, is on the verge of becoming President of the United States. And apparently it’s considered impolite to say so.”

Nite – catch you tomorrow on the blog – 5 days to go…………..

Now, I don’t expect Murphy to read every post but I’ve posted a lot of interesting things (at least I thought they were)over the past five months and then later seen them attributed to another PUMA (which is fine but ya’ know – I think all of us would like a little acknowledgement now & then, especially and because of the brutal election season we’ve all had to endure over the past 18 months or so – I’ve been called so many vile names, alienated my friends & family I guess to the point that I rarely mention the pimp’s name anymore – they are tired of listening to me talk about how inadequate I believe he is to lead our country. I would love to bring up all of things that are being talked about now (which by the way, I read about months ago) but they don’t want to hear it.

I come here to the PAC and other PUMA related sites for confirmation that I am not alone in this quest to defeat the pimp and just a tiny hug would be appreciated ‘cuz it sure won’t be coming from the people I know & still love even tho they don’t wanna hear me anymore………………………

Gotta go now – things to do today – be back later…………

Just a tiny tiny pitty party – :(

Good Morning Pumas!!! I converted my college aged son. He was very much impressed with not only our information, but the fact we can provide back up to everything we say.

Last week straw poll (the only accurate poll IMO) had over or just under 300,000 votes from AOL users all over the country representative of all of us. 61% was for McCain, 38% Oblahblah.

This week’s poll started yesterday and will go thru November 4th. So far out of 62,000 voters we have McCain at 60% Bozo with 39%. You can put your mouse over each individual state to see how close the margins are. Cali is neck and neck.

Bookmark this page and keep an eye on it. Straw Poll has called right for the last 3 years. And the Hacker Bots can’t mess with this one because AOL installed extra security after being hacked a few weeks ago.

from the radio show. these are claims but not verified.

New Jersey
McCain 48
Obambe 43
undecided 7

Michigan
McCain 44
Obambe 42
undecided 10

California behind by 1.
McCain 43
Obambe 44
undecided 9

they were talking about the undecides going 4 to 1 for McCain which would give him California.

If the above is true and I find it hard to believe then McCain should win. Where is the betting line. I can use some easy money. haha. I never gamble.

The news about Obama not being a citizen has to hurt him. People want a US citizen for president not an Indonesian citizen. We will know very soon.

Keep working hard. do not be discouraged.

I will be so happy if Sarah breaks that glass ceiling. Shatters that ceiling. But overall my very deep seated work is all to stop Obama. Sarah is like the gift from god for all our hard work.

WILKES-BARRE – Gov. Ed Rendell on Friday said the presidential race between Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain is closer than the polls indicate.

Rendell said Obama does not have a double-digit lead in Pennsylvania and urged people to “take an umbrella and dress warmly” to withstand the weather and to vote on Tuesday.
[snip]

“Stay in that line and make sure you vote,” Rendell told about 50 people at Wilkes University. “I’ve seen polls that have the race as close as four points.”

Obama throws aunt under the bus. Ship her back to Kenya. No help from Obama. AP story just coming out now.

Saturday, November 01, 2008
Obama says he didn’t know aunt’s illegal status
By NEDRA PICKLER

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama says he didn’t know that one of his relatives was living in the United States illegally and believes the appropriate laws should be followed.

The Associated Press found that Obama’s aunt had been instructed to leave the country four years ago by an immigration judge who rejected her request for asylum from her native Kenya. The woman, Zeituni Onyango (zay-TUHN on-YANG-oh), is living in public housing in Boston and is the half-sister of Obama’s late father.

A statement given to the AP by Obama’s campaign Saturday says, “Senator Obama has no knowledge of her status but obviously believes that any and all appropriate laws be followed.”

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP’s earlier story is below.

WASHINGTON (AP) _ Barack Obama’s aunt, a Kenyan woman who has been quietly living in public housing in Boston, is in the United States illegally after an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, The Associated Press has learned.

Zeituni Onyango (zay-TUHN on-YANG-oh), referred to as “Aunti Zeituni” in the Democratic presidential candidate’s memoir, was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP late Friday. This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango’s case.

Onyango, 56, is Obama’s late father’s half-sister, the Obama campaign has confirmed. She is not a relative whom Obama, 47, has discussed in campaign appearances and, unlike Obama’s father and his maternal grandmother, is not someone who has been part of the public discussion about his personal life.

The Obama campaign declined to comment late Friday night.

Information about the deportation case was disclosed and confirmed by two separate sources, one a federal law enforcement official. The information they made available is known to officials in the federal government, but the AP could not establish whether anyone at a political level in the Bush administration or in the McCain campaign had been involved in its release.

Onyango’s refusal to leave the country would represent an administrative, noncriminal violation of immigration law, meaning such cases are handled outside the criminal court system. Estimates vary, but many experts believe there are more than 10 million such immigrants in the U.S.

According to Federal Election Commission documents filed by the Obama campaign, Onyango has contributed $260 to Obama over a period of time. Under federal election law, only U.S. citizens or green-card holders are legally permitted to give money to campaigns. Onyango, who listed her employer as the Boston Housing Authority, gave in small increments to the Obama campaign. Her latest contribution was $5 on Sept. 19.

The AP could not immediately reach Onyango for comment. When a reporter went to her home Friday night, no one answered the door. A neighbor said she was often not home on the weekend. Onyango did not immediately return telephone and written messages left at her home. It was unclear why her request for asylum was rejected in 2004.

A spokeswoman for U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, Kelly Nantel, said the government does not comment on an individual’s citizenship status or immigration case.

Onyango’s case _ coming to light just days before the presidential election _ led to an unusual nationwide directive within Immigrations and Customs Enforcement requiring that any deportations before Tuesday’s election be approved at least at the level of the agency’s regional directors, the U.S. law enforcement official told the AP.

The unusual directive suggests that the administration is sensitive to the political implications of Onyango’s case coming to light so close to the election.

The East African nation has been fractured in violence in recent years, including a period of two months of bloodshed after December 2007 that killed 1,500 people.

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino said Saturday that he had no idea how Onyango might have qualified for public housing with a standing deportation order. He said he’s not involved in the operations of the agency, even though he appoints the head, because it runs mainly on federal and state dollars.

William McGonagle, deputy director of the Boston Housing Authority, said when contacted: “I know nothing about it and I’ve got no comment.”

After having my coffee I would like to amend my statement. Obama may have been born in hawaii with this new news, however, his mother took
him to Indonesia and his new father adopted him. Neither country allows dual citizenship and when he returned at 10 yrs old there is no evidence that he renewed his us citizenship therefore, he is an alien, an illegal alien like his auntie in boston….

When this is all said and done he will be deported.

In Pennsylvania, John McCain is getting closer, but Barack Obama is still attracting a majority of voters.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of voters in the state shows Obama with 51% of the vote while McCain picks up 47%. That four-point advantage for Obama is down from a seven-point margin earlier in the week and a 13-point advantage for Obama earlier in the month.

Just 75% of Pennsylvania Democrats now support their party’s nominee, down from 86% in the previous survey…

Don’t you just wish people could step back and look at all of this as if they were interviewing someone for a high security job? You look at McCain’s resume, which is massive, and includes actual military service, and a passion for protecting America. Then you look at Obama’s resume, which is thin, with gaps of time not explained, and very questionable references and associations that represent challenges to America’s ideology and security. His rate of absenteeism and tardiness in the Senate alone would make most potential employees in the “forget” list.
It’s really a no-brainer!
Who would you run to if you were suddenly feeling deeply insecure?

The National Review just dug up ONE letter Obama published as Editor of The Harvard Law Review. The reason there is only ONE, is due to the fact that this is the only piece the Harvard law Review chose to release, just a few days before the election.

National Review Link here: http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=NTYxZjIzZWMyNGVhYTRjNjU5Y2I0NmIyYjNhZTg5NzA

And here, dear PUMAs, is the letter. The letter is a defense of affirmative action for Obama, and a justification for exclusing women from the benefits of affirmative action. The bold text is my addition:

“Review President Explains Affirmative Action Policy

To the Editor:

Since the merits of the Law Review’s selection policy has been the subject of commentary for the last three issues, I’d like to take the time to clarify exactly how our selection process works.

As our Treasurer, Lisa Hay, explained in your first article on our selection policy (October 12th), all students who wish to become editors of the Law Review participate in a writing competition at the end of their first year. The entire writing competition is conducted on a double-blind basis, to ensure absolute anonymity. Each submission is graded by at least three different Review editors to help decrease the effects that any particular editor’s subjective opinions may have on the final scores.

Once all the writing competition submissions have been graded, these scores, as well as the law school transcripts of all those who have chosen to release the, are submitted to a Selection Committee made up of the President ad two other Review editors who have been elected by their fellow editors.

The Selection Committee first identifies the group of candidates whose excellent performance, either in the classroom or on the writing competition, sets them apart. (Approximately half of this first batch is chosen solely on their performance on the writing competition; the other half are selected on a weighted formula of 70 percent grades and 30 percent writing competition.) The Selection Committee must then choose the remaining editors from a pool of qualified candidates whose grades or writing competition scores do not significantly differ. It is at this stage that the Law Review as for several years instituted an affirmative action policy for historically underrepresented groups: out of this pool, the Selection Committee may take race or physical handicap into account in making their final decision, if the Selection Committee believes that such affirmative action will enhance the representativeness of the incoming class. On the other hand, the Selection Committee may find that given the make-up of the first batch of candidates, such considerations are unnecessary. In no event is the Selection Committee required to meet any set quotas.

Once final selections are made, all writing competition material is destroyed. No editors on the Review will ever know whether any given editor was selected on the basis of grades, writing competition, or affirmative action, and no editors who were selected with affirmative action in mind.

The Review as a body feels that the success of the program speaks for itself. The vigor of debate and the wide range of perspectives that results from our current selection process have not been purchased at the price of any “lower standard” of editorial excellence; in fact, our program argues for the proposition that diversity can and should be the companion of quality legal scholarship.

This isn’t to say that our selection procedures are ideal. No matter how anonymous the process, we are in the difficult and unusual position of evaluating our peers; indeed, the absolute necessity of anonymity prevents us from making the nuanced evaluations that a law school admissions office might make. As a result, the design of the selection process – including not only affirmative action but also the use of the writing competition or the use of grades – has been an important subject of discussion for each volume of the Review. As I stated in the first Record article, we decided last year as a body that based on the percentage of women in the Law School and our previous success of attracting a large number of women to editorial and leadership posts at the Review, an affirmative action program for women was unnecessary. Because of the drop-off of women editors this year, that policy is subject to change if the majority of Review editors think it’s appropriate. In the meantime, we’ve been in contact with members of the WLA [Women's Law Association] to ensure that we effectively recruit women to participate in this year’s competition.

Let me end by emphasizing that the Review is committed to including the widest range of viewpoints on its editorial staff, and strongly encourages 1L women and men of all backgrounds and ideological stripes to participate in this year’s writing competition.

I’d also like to add one personal note, in response to the letter from Mr. Jim Chen which was published in the October 26 issue of the RECORD, and which articulated broad objections to the Review’s general affirmative action policy. I respect Mr. Chen’s personal concern over the possible stigmatizing effects of affirmative action, and do not question the depth or sincerity of his feelings. I must say, however, that as someone who has undoubtedly benefited from affirmative action programs during my academic career, and as someone who may have benefited from the Law Review’s affirmative action policy when I was selected to join the Review last year, I have not personally felt stigmatized either within the broader law school community or as a staff member of the Review. Indeed, my election last year as President of the Review would seem to indicate that at least among Review staff, and hopefully for the majority of professors at Harvard, affirmative action in no way tarnishes the accomplishments of those who are members of historically underrepresented groups.

I would therefore agree with the suggestion that in the future, our concern in this area ia [sic] most appropriately directed at any employer who would even insinuate that someone with Mr. Chen’s extraordinary record of academic success might be somehow unqualified for work in a corporate law firm, or that such success might be somehow undeserved. Such attributes speak less to the merits or problems of affirmative action policies, and more to the tragically deep-rooted ignorance and bias that exists in the legal community and our society at large.

Barack Obama
President, Harvard Law Review
Published November 16, 1990

Obama stated:

I must say, however, that as someone who has undoubtedly benefited from affirmative action programs during my academic career, and as someone who may have benefited from the Law Review’s affirmative action policy when I was selected to join the Review last year, I have not personally felt stigmatized either within the broader law school community or as a staff member of the Review.

Obama believes that his benefits via affirmative action policies, while lowering the bar, did not denigrate the value of Law review Membership. Moreover, Obama believed there was no stigma attached to being an affirmative action recipient. That line of thought only makes sense if one believes they are entitled to preferential treatment as a matter of race, especially when you do not apply the standards of affirmative action to all of those constituting under-represented groups. He gladly accepts the benefits as an entitlement, while justifying the exclusion of women from those same benefits?

Opinions will certainly differ here on affirmative action, but, if it is to be applied at all, one cannot justify its unequal application. To take such a position, frankly, is racist; a belief in racial preferences to the exclusion of all other preferences.

I find this to be a pretty shocking revelation about Obama, but not a surprising one. Given his associations with Ayers, Wright, et. al, racism is a charge that can only be leveled against white oppressors, and is not possible when practiced by one of the oppressed.

We knew from his actions what Obama thought about women. We now have documentary evidence of that view.

I was in a meeting the other day and the principal’s secretary was telling everyone how excited her 18 year old daugher who attends Brown University was to vote for the first time (I’m sure she voted for BO). Another teacher in the room said it was so wonderful to see all these young people so enthusiastic to vote, too bad adults lacked that enthusiasm. To which I replied, well that’s because adults know it’s all fixed. Two other teachers looked at me from across the room and smiled and winked in agreement. I’m almost certain they will not be voting for BO. Yes, I think there are many silent people out there, who have not been polled, who are going about their business and who know the score.

This race has come down to Pennsylvania and the western part of the state is CRITICAL to a John McCain victory!

Real Democrats is taking to the road again this weekend for John McCain. Join us for a kick-off rally in Columbus, Ohio Friday afternoon or meet us as we cross over into Pennsylvania (Friday night)!

We will be spending Saturday and Sunday handing out flyers and doing visibility in small towns all over Western Pennsylvania. Monday we will swing back into Ohio and target towns in the northeastern part of the state. As always–We need your help!

Volunteers will be able to share costs of overnight rooms. Come for a few hours, come for a day or come from Friday through Monday—JUST COME!
If you can’t come—please contribute $25 (or as much as you can spare) to help pay our gas!!

To join the trip: pabeles@realdemocratsusa.org
To contribute: http://www.RealDemocratsUSA.org

For Your Information:
We are meeting in Columbus Friday afternoon for the McCain rally with Arnold Schwarzenegger (hopefully we will pick up some media attention to give other Democrats confidence1)

From there we drive straight (70 E) through to Pennsylvania. We are then following 18 North through all the little bitter, Catholic (Democratic!) towns in the western corridor. From Sharon, Pa we will get on 79 N and head to Erie. On Monday we will go west back into Pennsylvania and hit the three western counties of OH on our way back to Columbus.

We have chosen this route specifically based on inside info from both Democratic and Republican camps—so this is a VERY strategic plan in terms of where we can be most effective.

The sign for the bus ($1300) is paid for already as are the signs for the cars (@ $600) and we have flyers that were already donated. We think they will be enough.

For a four day trip we figure we need to raise $1000-$1200 in gas and we need to pay the driver of the RV something (we paid him $500 last time but this is an extra day)
We desperately need BODIES. Japanese TV is interested in covering our trip and perhaps a few others as well. Anybody that can come and join the RV—we really need them….

Hi McPalin supporters,

I just received a call from Suzanne Haney, leader of the 2nd Ward in Philly. A booth will be set up Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 9 PM, at the famous Geno’s Steaks, at 1219 South 9th St. People are needed to staff the booth, talk to people and hand out flyers! As you know about a trillion zillion quadrillion people visit Geno’s and that street on the weekend. And weather forecasts are cooperating. This is a great opportunity.

I know we are stretched pretty thin but please come if you can, and pass the word on. We are all in knots at this point so let’s inject a little fun into it! In fact fun is guaranteed!

Dems, Republicans and Indies for McCain!

In Pennsylvania, John McCain is getting closer…

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of voters in the state shows Obama with 51% of the vote while McCain picks up 47%. That four-point advantage for Obama is down from a seven-point margin earlier in the week and a 13-point advantage for Obama earlier in the month.

Just 75% of Pennsylvania Democrats now support their party’s nominee, down from 86% in the previous survey. Obama is doing a bit better among unaffiliated voters while Republican support for McCain remains steady.

Democratic nominee John Kerry narrowly won Pennsylvania four years ago and both candidates have spent a lot of time here this past week. The Keystone State is the only state won by Kerry four years ago that is at all competitive in the final days of Election 2008. Although McCain is gaining in the state, this is the fourth consecutive poll to show Obama attracting more than 50% of the vote.

McCain is now viewed favorably by 55% of Pennsylvania voters, Obama by 54%. Those figures reflect a five-point improvement for McCain from the beginning of the month and a five-point decline for Obama.

In light of the latest burst of contributions we have decided to go for our outside goal: $20,000 which would allow a cluster of ads (most effective) and payment for the related expenses (overhead).

That’s the status report. Here’s the link for donation: http://tdg.typepad.com/democrats_for_principle_b/

Here’s the article from Israel Insider that someone asked for:

Hawaiian officials admit withholding Obama’s original BC

View Israel Insider’s blog
Now it’s pretty apparent why Barack Obama made his sudden, last minute visit to Honolulu. It wasn’t Granny’s health problems that interested him but Hawaii’s Health Department.

The strategy may have backfired. A statement by Hawaiian officials Friday that they have seen but won’t release an “original” birth certificate that has never been released raises more questions than it answers. It undercuts the indignant claims of Obama spokesmen and supporters that the “birth certificate” has been published for months, and the ridicule and claims of “smear” that the Obama camp has made against anyone claiming otherwise.

Image: the “certification of live birth” claimed by Obama campaign as his “birth certificate”

According to an AP report, Hawaii Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said Friday that she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.

But they won’t say one word about what’s on it.

Conspicuously, Hawaiian officials refuse to confirm that the information on the “original” certificate conforms to what has appeared on the “Certification of Live Birth” produced in 2007 that has so far been passed off as original by the Obama “Fight the Smears” site (here) and the Annenberg-backed site FactCheck.org (here). The latter dedicated a photoshoot to examining in pornographic detail a computer-generated facsimile that may bear no relation to the original document that the State of Hawaii now admits holding.

Can anyone smell “red herring”?

All of the obfuscation, which has been going on for more than four months, begs the question that the Obama campaign and its media supporters have steadfastly refused to answer: why won’t the original birth certificate be released?

Why can’t the Obama campaign do as the McCain campaign did, and release the original, typewritten document that the State of Hawaii, finally and in the last days before the election, admits exists in its “vaults”? What could be so damaging or contradictory that Obama has felt the need to keep hidden all these years and has created elaborate cover-ups to put forward computer-abstracted certification of live certificate instead of the original birth certificate?

Fukino says that no state official, including Governor Linda Lingle, ever instructed that Obama’s birth certificate be handled differently. But state officials, including Lingle’s office, have consistently refused media requests for the release of the document, saying that only Obama himself, or a close family number, was authorized to have access to the “original” certificate. She says state law bars release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest.

Apparently that does not include the American People.

And yet Obama claimed in his memoir Dreams from my Father that he had in his possession his birth certificate. Unless the document has been “lost,” he could publish the original without visiting grandma in Honolulu.

Trumpeting victory in Hawaii’s admission that a suppressed “original” birth certificate exists is Chicago-based journalist Andy Martin, a long time nemesis of Obama, whose trip to Hawaii preceded the candidate’s. (Obama arrived just as Martin left). Martin takes credit for forcing the State’s hand in a press release:
Obama has falsely claimed to have placed the “original” on the Internet. Factcheck.org has falsely claimed to have seen this document and posted it on the Internet; that is not true. CNN has falsely ridiculed Martin. Hawai’i officials have now refuted Obama’s false assertion.

Martin’s victory in Honolulu will roil the final weekend of the presidential campaign. Internet chatter is expected to explode as the issue moves to the front page over Saturday and Sunday. Swing voters may be swayed by the exposure that Obama has brazenly been lying to the American people. “We just lobbed a grenade into the final weekend of the presidential campaign,” says Andy.

“I am ecstatic. I called Obama a liar. I called Factcheck.org ‘ObamaLies.org.’ I said CNN was sloppy and lazy and wrong. And I was right. The State of Hawai’i has now backed me up. Whew. I knew I was right, but I feel a lot more comfortable knowing that I have started to get the machinery moving in state government. The original document is now obviously protected and safe from any tampering by Obama.

“My lawsuit started a firestorm in Hawai’i. The circuit judge has set a hearing for November 18th (a report in the Honolulu Advertiser for November 1st for an earlier hearing date of November 7th is inaccurate; that date was cancelled).

“CNN also has egg on its face, because, once again, Hawai’i backs my contention that the original document has never surfaced in public. CNN tried to demean me by contradicting my accurate claim.

“Now Obama, Factcheck.org and CNN have been exposed as liars. I said there was a ’secret,’ original, typewritten birth certificate that had never been disclosed, and that document was the original COLB, not the phony ‘original’ that CNN placed before its viewers.
Martin, who has advanced the theory that the candidate has suppressed the original certificate because it would show that his father is not in fact Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., claims that Frank Marshall Davis — a high profile Communist and journalist that Obama II referred to in his memoirs only as “Frank” — is in fact Obama’s father.

Martin has a court date in Hawaii on his demand to release the original birth certificate in the public interest scheduled for November 18, 2008. He has scheduled a press conference for today (Saturday, November 1).

Assume 55% Democrats in the state. If 20% of 55% of Penn Dem Voters are not for That One but for McCain then he cannot get more than 44%. even if by this hypothesis McCain were to start with 40% then he gets to 51% leaving 5% for undecided, no vote, write in etc

I am moved to make the following editorial insertion here, which did not appear but should have in Obama’s letter: Bo’s unstated tacit premise which, in fact, logically counters the points of his assertions in the first place regarding the purpose of his letter:
And, as a result of the destruction of these items, no one anywhere will ever know what or whether objective criteria and standards actually were used as material for final selection. Thus,I and others will be able to select whichever criteria we choose to assert that we and not others were, in fact, more qualified to be chosen as an Editor. …

What a piece of absurdity this letter is..so typical of this relativasitic mind and deconstructionist logic.

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, who’s hand was caught in the gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be our president.
The old rancher said, ‘Well, ya know, Obama is a ‘Post Turtle”.
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a ‘post turtle’ was.
The old rancher said, ‘When your driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a ‘post turtle’.
The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor’s face so he continued to explain. ‘You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, and he doesn’t know what to do while he’s up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumbas* put him up there to begin with’.

I plan to go back up and read everything, but for now, by the time I went to bed last night, I had nailed down in one of the links that both O and Ayers were in NYC (not necessarily both at Columbia but only blocks from there) for 18 months. 1983(4)-1985. Then O moved to Chicago.

I think that is a critical link. WHY CHICAGO? Why did he go to the place he did? I will be doing more digging today and posting what I find.

One thing that I am SURE of is that they knew this line of attack was coming. They planned for the Bill Ayers thing to come out, and they are desperately trying to manage it. They have started the Prarie Fire and are now trying to “manage” it long enough so that it won’t consume them until it’s time to consume us.

Hey, Grizzly, any mention of a New World Order in Prarie Fire? Oh, and you might be interested to know that a year or so back at the University of Deleware, students in the dorms got in HUGE trouble for requiring students living there to come to “re-education” meetings. These meetings were centered around all whites being racist (didn’t matter where your ancestors were–if you were white, you were racist). There were other extreme intimidation tactics–like male RA’s forcing female residents in one-on-one sessions to answer questionairre’s with questions such as “When was your first sexual experience?” “When did you lose your virginity?” Etc.

When the students rebelled and spoke out to the university, the university tried to alter the program, then it was abandoned, then it was quietly reinstated until that came to light.

The name of this program was FIRE.

You can read about it here: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=79637

Some interesting links: the program was predicated on “social justice” the code words for this Columbia thing Maxine Greene (teacher/mentor of Bill Ayers) espoused, Biden is from Delaware, students were systematically brainwashed OR intimidated into the program. Re-education, or the use of education as a means to forward a political agenda and philosophy is on FIRE (no similarity, I’m sure, to a Prarie Fire).

This is the November surprise I’m counting on. Dems didn’t win in the last two elections with a solid base, how the heck can they win with a shattered base? Republicans expected to cross party lines is so low it’s negligible (2-3% are the highest estimates I’ve seen) Independents and undecideds tend to lean more toward the center…that’s why they can’t decide. MANY are undecided because Hillary was their candidate of choice. Those voters see FAR more in common with McCain than BO. I don’t care how loud the media screams “it’s over”, blah, blah — they’re screaming out of sheer fear and panic in my opinion.

My view on Pennsylvania….

I was born in a small city in Southwestern PA. While I have lived all over the US, most of my relatives still live in the area. And most of them are Democrats. The PA Democrats outside of Philadelphia and some parts of Pittsburgh are more like the Blue Dog Democrats of the South; Reagan Democrats.

Obama will win in Philadelphia. And he will probably carry Pittsburgh proper (the City of Pittsburgh itself has a population of a little over a half million). But Obama will not win PA. And the reason has NOTHING to do with race. Nothing.

PA Democrats are very patriotic. A large number of them are veterans. They are more liberal on social issues and labor issues than Republicans, but they are every bit as conservative when it comes to issues like the ecomony and the military. And they value experience. PA has the second largest retired population in the Country, behind Florida. They have the largest population of retired veterans in the country.

PA is by and large the epitome of the melting pot. It was job opportunities that causes its population to swell both before and after the Great Depression. Poles, Italians, Serbs, Corats, Russians, Jews, Germans, the Irish and other ethnic groups were drawn to the area. Steel workers, coal miners, textile and factory workers, farmers – you name it. Any occupation requiring hard labor drew the people willing to perform those tasks.

Strong family values, particularly outside of the two large cities. Strong religious roots. A state where hunting is a family tradition – more hunters take to the woods every year than perhaps any other state. I can remember in some areas, opening day of deer season was a school holiday, out of necessity. No one showed up for school!

Pennsylvania Democrats are JFK Democrats. They are not Obama Democrats. Yes, Obama will get over 90% of the black vote, but that is less than 20% of the total vote.

The only risk I see to a McCain victory is voter fraud – PA has a huge number of colleges and universities, and students from all over the US attend school in the State. If the shenanigans that happened in Ohio with non resident students are going on in PA, that is going to warp the vote.

Without the influence of voter fraud, I do not see Obama taking Pennsylvania.

Inspiration – Explanation

Credit to “joe the cab driver” hireheels.com, my second favorite web page for the gals in this election fight.

You can find it on drudgereport.com and at 12:00am central time tonight it will be posted on zogby.com. This is something to think of, the obama camp keeps telling everyone that they have well over 300 electoral votes locked up. They say that this is over with. This is all smoke and mirrors from the obama deceivers. Today he was campaigning in Iowa, which has only 7 electoral votes and they sat they have that state wrapped up. Now if they were that far ahead and are finding out that they were gonna lose a state that had only 7 electoral then why would they with only 4 days to go be chasing Iowa. Truth is obama is going to lose this election and mccain is going to get a large electoral count. The battleground states are all going to go to mccain the only one that is iffy and mccain will still win is virginia. Includes pennsylvania going red. They have pumped obama up like an inflatable parrot and the air is coming out of him. Don’t allow his propaganda machine to get you down. The obamites paid bloggers and his campaign went all out with propaganda and it is not going to work. Both the republican and democrat establishment are afaid of mccain and palin. They are going to stand for the average American and they are going to start moving this country in the right direction. We are going to be proud of what they will accomplish. Exit polls in Florida, Nevada and other states show that many democrats who have already voted have voted for mccain/palin. We the people both republicans and democrats came together at a crucial time in America’s history and elected 2 mavericks who are going to shake up this country for the better. We are all proving together that we can shake the division between parties and work together for the betterment of our great country. To all the dems and repubs who formed this alliance I salute everyone of you. You are all great Americans. You have not yet realized the part each one of you paid in saving this country from extremism. Turn out the vote and continue your hard work. Then relax and enjoy Tuesday night. May God bless everyone of you!

They are going to try and do the same crap they did during the Primaries, but this time we are aware, and they are not going to get away with it. Too bad, we could have saved Hillary…and the two superdelegates who lost their lives Ms. Tibbs, and the guy who got shot in his office in Little Rock, Arkansas, remember that. I hold Obama’s camp responsible for that.

When this election is over I am going to boycott all the media and newspapers and write to them all and give them a piece of my mind.
In the 35 years I have lived here, (I’m a Canook) havent seen anything like it before. Of course, like most people I have got more involved than other times too.

Only have time for a quick post, but it contains some EXCELLENT anecdotal evidence from an ordinarily true BLUE town in the hills of Fairfield County, Connecticut:

Went to the glass store this morning: LARGE McCain/Palin sign in the window. We had a good chat about the PUMA movement (which he was fully aware of) and he encouraged me to walk up and down the entire main street business area, which I did.

At least HALF of the windows have McCain/Palin signs in them…

Grizzly #253. One thing bothered me about O’s Wiki file. It was this:

“After four years in New York City, Obama moved to Chicago, where he was hired as director of Developing Communities Project (DCP), a church-based community organization originally comprising eight Catholic parishes in Greater Roseland (Roseland, West Pullman, and Riverdale) on Chicago’s far South Side, and worked there for three years from June 1985 to May 1988.”

This was apparently a CATHOLIC organization. Is this why so many Catholics (coupled with your statement about FIRE being in these schools) why so many Catholics are voting for O–against all reason whatsoever?

The comments from the Obamabites were just as vile and hateful. These people need to return to their dungeon.

Memo to Caroline Kennedy – You have become a sad and tragic figure campaigning for BO. How can you support a candidate that demeans and dismisses the voters of this country? By stumping for Obama, you must believe that the media and state have the right to investigate and smear the lives of anyone that opposes your candidate. We know more about Joe the Plumber than we do about Obama.

President Kennedy was known for his brilliant press conferences. He relished the tough questions from reporters. JFK was a leader, loved challenges, and had experience as a Congressman and two-term Senator. On the other hand, Obama shuns journalists that have either questioned his judgment, policies, and record and limits their access. The First Amendment rights of Americans will be in jeopardy with an Obama Administration. One more thing, BO has a history of avoiding tough political stances. The 130 “present” votes in Illinois and his flip flop positions are proof.

Shame on you Caroline Kennedy, you have lost the trust and credibility of the American voters.

…signing off – will be making phone bank calls for McCain

It is time for this election to be over. It is time because it has been going on for what feels like a lifetime, because the final days have been full of noise and fury and very little light, and because we need to start solving problems rather than just debating them. It is time because we all know how it should turn out and because thinking about what could happen if it doesn’t is too upsetting. Are Democrats in danger of being too confident? The short answer is no. It’s no because we’ve lost too many times when we…

On not knowing what to believe… that was their plan, that IS their plan. Confuse, split, create divisions among friends, co-workers, family so that you STOP relying on THEM and start relying on the GOVERNMENT. This is SO 1984, and the weirdest thing is, the more I research, the more I’m convinced that this nexus of O & Ayers STARTED IN 1984 at Columbia. Nailing it down to an actual doc is like nailing Jell-o to a wall, but all the pieces point that direction.

If this isn’t RACIST, WTF IS????

Cautious joy as blacks imagine Obama win

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081101/ap_on_el_pr/election_black_hopes_and_fears

Lula Cooper expects the tears to flow if Barack Obama becomes the first black president. But she’s not breaking out the tissues just yet.

“I cried when I marked my ballot for him. We’ve had such an incredible journey to this point,” said the former civil rights activist, her voice quavering. “I think he’s going to win, but I really am very, very cautious.”

Like a Hollywood blockbuster whose conclusion feels assured but still sets the heart racing, the endgame of this election has gripped black America with a powerful mixture of emotions.

Obama’s potential victory represents a previously unimaginable triumph over centuries of racism. But beneath the hope and pride lies fear: of polling inaccuracy, voting chicanery, or the type of injustice and violence that have historically stymied African-American progress.

It’s the enshrinement of racism, not triumph over it.

“Price Signals” If you aren’t in line in your lifestyle with what O thinks you should do (i.e. you’re driving too big a car, you’re eating the wrong foods, you’re using too much energy), then it’s the government’s JOB to send “price signals”–control the pricing HIGHER to get you to do what THEY think you should.

Grizzly on the FIRE doc/pdf, I’ve never seen this particular doc, though I followed that case when it was in the news. When I read the first line of the doc though, I had a flash of recognition. White Supremacy is in part of the name of Ayers’ & Dorhn’s new book, due out in Jan. ‘09.

The connections here, back and forth, are clear for anyone to see. This is NOT an either-or thing. This is a movement. Not out loud, not shattering bank windows (yet), but it IS a movement and I would be willing to bet you that it all traces back to that Columbia bunch, Ayers, Greene, Cloward-Piven, and who was in the middle of them? Barak Obama.

Hi everyone,
I just read a good article posted on Isreal insider journal they have been a great source of information anyway the article says that Hawaiian officials admit withholding Obamas ORIGINAL birth certificate. I can’t get it to post here maybe someone else can. Thanks

http://israelinsider.ning.com/profiles/blogs/hawaiian-officials-admit

I said there was a ’secret,’ original, typewritten birth certificate that had never been disclosed, and that document was the original COLB, not the phony ‘original’ that CNN placed before its viewers.Martin, who has advanced the theory that the candidate has suppressed the original certificate because it would show that his father is not in fact Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., claims that Frank Marshall Davis — a high profile Communist and journalist that Obama II referred to in his memoirs only as “Frank” — is in fact Obama’s father.

Martin has a court date in Hawaii on his demand to release the original birth certificate in the public interest scheduled for November 18, 2008. He has scheduled a press conference for today (Saturday, November 1).

Yes and she must be registered already. I read someone speculating that Kennedy probably set up the aunt in boston. but that is speculation only. All these things are so hard to prove. That is why there is so much corruption. of course Boston is totally Democratic so they welcome another voter.

So if Obama raised 700M and there are approx. 300M people in the US he could have given each person in the US over 2M dollars. That is obscene.//
=====
Heh, sorry, taggles. 8O That would have required $700,000,000,000,000 (700 quadrillion dollars). $700M actually works out to $2.33 per person. ;)

Everyone must got to this site. Debbie Sclussel reports about the Sanabel AlQuds Dabko Dance Troupe that simulates BEHEADING of Americans, Isreli’s, and Britians in their dance routines.

This dance troupe performed at that Khalidi farewell dinner where Obama, Ayers, and Dorn attended in 2003. I’m sure this is one of the reasons that the LA Times does not want to release the tape to the public to view.

Please post this to everyone you know!

Who has info on this: SHARIA LAW, I keep hearing about it.//
=====
In a nutshell, tribal Bedouin law plus some Islamic overlay, adopted by fundie Moslem sects (and many moderates) as the ONLY law. (Saudi Arabia, e.g., has no written law or constitution except the Koran and individual judges’ understanding of SHARIA.) It is very oppressive, especially to women.

Here’s a video of a Dutch politician fighting against it:

Notes from a battleground state
Thomas Lifson
The following comes to us from a GOP campaign worker in a heavily-contested battleground state. I know this person well, and trust him or her. The campaign worker wrote me:

“This is an amusing document that was sitting on the desktop of a public shared computer in the lobby of my hotel in [city name]. I came across it while using the computer to print something else for work.

“I assume a Democrat wrote it.”

American Thinker cannot vouch for the authenticity of this document. But we find it amusing, as did our source.

Bad News from the Keystone State

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is something that I want all of my blue state friends to know before it’s too late, and I’m not sure who else is going to tell you.
I CAN’T SEE HOW OBAMA CAN WIN PENNSYLVANIA.
I know, conventional wisdom says that the Democrats have the state in the bag. But turn off CNN, stop basking in the warmth generated by SNL, the Daily Show and Colbert Report and take five minutes to check this out.

Notice to All Employees

As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama is officially elected into office, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:

1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are under achieving a “fair shake.”

2. All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst yourselves. This will help those who are “too busy for overtime” to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.

3. All top management will now be referred to as “the government.” We will not participate in this “pooling” experience because the law doesn’t apply to us.

4. The “government” will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging its workers to continue to work hard “for the good of all.”

5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it’s “good to spread the wealth.” Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more “patriotic.”

6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks. Don’t feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free food stamps, and he’ll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can’t pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our Democratic Congress, you might even get a free flat screen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn’t all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?)!!!

If for any reason you are not happy with the new policies, you may want to rethink your vote on November 4th.

How Democrats Can Defeat Obama, See Mccain Win, Still Get Everything They Want And Respect Themselves In The Morning
Thu Oct 2, 2008 Tom In Paine
http://tominpaine.blogspot.com/2008/10/how-democrats-can-bury-obama-see-mccain.html

My favorite part follows. For me, since Hillary lost the primary, this election has always been about defeating the current DNC leadership who have lied & cheated in order to get Obama in as the democratic nominee.

We must defeat Obama in order to have a chance to reclaim the democratic party.

Article quote:
“Aside from Obama’s unfitness for the job ( which is reason enough) the other compelling reason for an Obama defeat is to reform and fumigate the Democratic Party which Dean, Pelosi, Brazile, Chuck Schumer and others has turned into the Obamacratic Party which becomes more and more of an embarrassment every day as Pelosi’s disastrous performance with the bailout bill proved.

Obama is the nominee because of a dishonest primary in which these same people, along with the press did everything possible to sell Obama as the nominee and do it dishonestly as they knew how including rigging the roll call vote violating every Democratic Party rule and procedure in the process.

Dean, Pelosi, Brazile, Fowler and every member of the DNC who engineered and went along with fixing the process needs to go. Those who won’t resign ( though I think many will after an Obama defeat) need to have their power and their base removed, so the that the Democratic Party can air itself out. And the only way that can happen is with an Obama loss. And the bigger the better.”

Sharia law:

No, this is not well accepted in the Islamic world. I think there is maybe only one county somewhere that uses it–it’s repressive to say the least, I think there is some stuff about not being able to charge interest as well that makes it unworkable. It’s meant for a small homogeneous community like the one the Prophet was in.

All the stuff about being repressive to women is not necessarily from the Koran. Honor killings are a tribal tradition more than anything else. I have also read in the Koran about what women should wear and it says to cover your breasts. (Wonder what they were wearing before that.) Also to throw your cloak up over your head “so they know who you are”, whatever that means.

Covering the hair and other conservative dress is more of a protection from unwanted male obnoxiousness so the women CAN be active in public life. If they can’t see you they can’t turn you into an object. And there are truly men who are powerful enough that if they see something or someone they want, they can just take it, and no law can protect anyone from it if they are from a powerful clan. The only protection is if they don’t see you. So, no, the head covering is not necessarily repressive to women.
