WORD OF CAUTION

It’s not hard to connect certain images or develop theories. But, credibility is crucil in all things. I would take great care in all we do. If the images that have been merged on the top of the thread are to make a point, to visually drive the point home about connections between Obama and Ayers, perhaps, ok. Or, perhaps it crosses the line into imposing on Obama’s stupid logo something that is nothing more than something we’ve decided to impose upon it.

Related to my post downstairs regarding of the analysis that lead to some thinking that Ayers was actually the ghost writer of Obama’s book. Could be very very powerful if the person who did the analysis is really solid. Or, could simply be a distraction and something that weakens the cause (so to speak) if done by a crack pot with little ground to stand on.

I’m having trouble trying to find the right words. I just hope in these last few days of frenzied activities that we don’t start to become blinded by our passion so as to start creating images or theories that stretch the point in ways that weaken or legitimacy.

Please don’t pounce all over me for saying this. I’m on the team and need no convincing about Obama’s dubious connections to Ayers and others. My point is more about how we proceed with the information we have and maintain solid ground.

Does the arrow point to the left or the right? I saw it on the opposite side on one that was posted on the net….

BTW Goofsdad is in one of the pictures. He looks like Kilroy holding the Nixon released his tapes sign.

For those to young to know, Kilroy was a cartoon character during WWII that was always portrayed peeking over a sign. Everything in the picture of Goofsdad is intentional, including him looking like Kilroy!

THEORY THAT AYERS IS THE GHOST WRITER FOR OBAMA’S BOOK:

I have no way of discerning the credibility of those who support this theory. If their theory is correct, then the news about the ghost writing is just one more awful thing about Obama. If they’re wrong, then that’s something awful in a different way. (This goes to the point of my earlier post to take care about credibility.)

Grizzly, I am asking because zomblog broke the Prairie Fire story on October 22, and I am a part of the Obama research community, and if you originally found out about Prairie Fire through zomblog and his investigation, it’s good to give credit. I know I started blogging zomblog’s expose at puma pac within the hour he published it. You asked what the Weather Underground logo was and I posted it in response only two days ago.

Anyway, all that matters (to me) is that everyone learns about it, I just know that other people are touchy about doing the work and not getting credit. For instance, when anyone publishes uppity woman without credit, she goes ballistic.

House minority leader John Boehner’s spokesman confirms the accuracy of this quote, from an Ohio student newspaper:

I usually check Real Clear Politics before I log on at McCain’s site to start making calls. Sometimes I go for the state that seems the closest. Other times I pick the state that seems like the biggest stretch. Unfortunately, there are a lot of normally red states going blue or purple right now, so you can’t lose starting with any one of them:

Ohio, Florida, Nevada, Colordao, Virginia…sadly, the list goes on and on.

BillieJoe: Ayers would certainly not have looked upon Bobby Kennedy or anyone else in that family or in the so called Ayers defined ruling class as anything less than an imperialist and thus one of the very reasons the government must be brought down. You know what pisses me off? Here it is:

I knew about Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn for many months before it was covered by Hannity. I emailed the man daily, like a robot (along with others).

This Rashid Khalidi thing? I was screaming about it since January. Raila Odinga? Same thing. Rezko getting his money from Saddam Hussein’s main man Nadhmi Auchi? Same thing. Obama being a member of the socialist New Party? The Real Barack Obama covered it in February. Brit Hume mentioned it only two weeks ago on Fox! ACORN? No Quarter was screaming about it for many months before it caught on in the MSM. On and on.

There is like a FREAKIN’ Bermuda Triangle–alien Time Zone–Water Gap between the internet information and TV news. There was always a several month time delay. Can you imagine how I was back in February? Knowing all this stuff? This is back when many people even on the internet were like, HUH? Do you know I CRIED when Khalidi was finally covered on Hannity just recently? It’s because there are two different realities: The World Wide Web Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media Barack Obama.

It’s been a great PAIN to sit and KNOW that not only does all of the internet hardly know this stuff, but viurtually NO ONE who watches TV or lives regular lives knows any of this stuff.

When McCain put out that Ayers ad, I sighed like you wouldn’t believe. Meanwhile, Raila Odinga still hasn’t been covered, Nadhmi Auchi? Hardly a sneeze. Communist Frank Marshall Davis? Not much, etc, etc.

There is one thing now: I HATE Obama-Media. I HATE their propaganda of him. It’s really the media that got me to decide that I would never vote for Obama, because I knew that he would be the most protected and secretive president in history, and with this man’s background, I knew that would be devasting for our country.

So, I am sorry if I hurt your feelings Grizzly, but I got annoyed that this was posted on puma pac and that I emailed it to Dances days ago, and now here it is. It only reminded me of the Bermuda Triangle–alien time zone–water gap of information sharing, when we only have 4 days left now. I’ve never been more frustrated in my life, to tell you the truth. When I talk to people and they still think Obama is just a regular democrat, I have to consciously calm myself down to communicate with these people.

I’ve got some neat news! I decided to vote today. I figured the lines wouldn’t be so bad with Halloween and all.

I took my Dem for McCain/Palin pin and put it on my sweater. As I got out of the car, there was a couple there. One of them was handing out cards for a local Dem. Her husband was helping people park. They were well out of the voting area.

I asked if I could wear my pin inside and he asked what it said. I said Democrat for McCain/Palin!!! Guess what? He said they were also – they were Hillary supporters. I gave them my pins, then asked if they wanted Nobama flyers – Yep!! I felt so good and I helped them out!!

Met a girl in the line whose sister told her she HAD to vote! For McCain – more Dems. And 2 of the young girls at my local gas station had been undecided – one bought a McCain shirt today and wore it in the mall. The other one I gave the flyer to and told her how important her vote is – I’m pretty sure she’ll vote!! Of course this is in the San Antonio area, but all in all it was a wonderful day!

Kat, take a deep breath PUMA. We are all caught in the Bermuda Triangle with you. And it is difficult believing all the stuff that comes out about Obama, our heads spin, we don’t know what is rumor, what is reality, what is spin from the media and what we can still believe these days. I honestly don’t believe much of anything any more…I go by my gut more than anything. If something is confusing…I don’t want to believe it any more unless I research it first…and then question my research.
I think this blog has been a blessing and some what a place all of us come for info, pass info and cry in frustration.

At first I felt very challenged and even e-mailed the McCain campaign weeks ago with this very issue as I didn’t feel confident with what to say if someone said, “Well, how will John McCain get the economy back on track?” or some other thing that, in all honesty, I didn’t feel the McCain campaign had made very clear! I never heard back from them (they are a mess!). BUT, finally, I created my own little bullet points based on rummaging around his web site for info and hooking into my own passions. There are an infinite number of issues that can arise with callers, though few actually are very challenging when it comes to questions. When in doubt, you can divert them to bigger issues, such as national security (this is a big one I harp on, as all else is moot if we get blown to kingdom come because some neophyte with dangerous notions of national security is in office).

I recommend you make a few little bullet points for yourself. If you’re still having trouble, let me know and I’ll type some out for you. (Unfortunately, my points were typed on the computer that got destroyed after visiting the API site so I only have my hard copy. But, if you’re really in a jam, I can re-type what I’ve got for you.)

If you repost to me, type a heading that’s easy to find, cause I’ll be away from the blog for a little while again.

While out and about awhile ago, talking with people and putting out flyers…… Chills ran up and down my spine (no, not a tingle up my leg) because I’m hearing the drums of division beating along racial lines. People have heard the accusations of racism and the threats of riots and violence in the streets and they are armed to the teeth. Ammunition is getting hard to come by. It’s not looking good, no matter who wins.
And elders who remember the ‘Cold War’ are telling the younger generation what they really do have to fear.
I agree with Asian4Hillary. Better to have the violence now than put the results of an Obamanation government on our children and our childrens’ children.If Obama is elected we can kiss our precious freedoms ‘good-bye’!!!!

As a Business owner who employs 30 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama, will be our next President, and that my taxes and fees, will go up in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Customer will have to see an increase in my fees to them of about 8%. I will also have to lay off 8 of my employees. This really bothered me as I believe we are family here and I did not know how to choose who will have to go.

So, this is what I did. I strolled thru the parking lot and found 8 Obama bumper stickers on my employees cars. I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off.

I can’t think of another fair way to approach this problem. If you have a better idea, let me know.

I am sending this letter to all business owners that I know.

“Recently, on my way to lunch at Applebee’s with my wife, I passed one of those homeless guys in the area with a sign that read, “Vote Obama, I need the money!” Once in Applebee’s, my waiter had on an “Obama 08″ T-shirt.

When the bill came, I decided not to tip the waiter and explained to him that, while he had given my wife and I exceptional service, his T-shirt made me feel he obviously believes in Barack Obama’s plan to redistribute the wealth, so I told him I was going to redistribute his tip to someone that I deemed more in need — the homeless guy outside. He stood there in disbelief and angrily stormed away.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $3 and told him to thank the waiter inside, as I had decided he could use the money more than him. The homeless guy looked at me in disbelief, but seemed grateful.

As I got in my car, I realized this rather unscientific redistribution of the wealth experiment had left the homeless guy quite happy for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn.

I guess this redistribution of wealth thing is going to take a while to catch on with those doing the work. Think before you vote.”

I know that most of us are doing all we can … still, let’s dig deep to do more. Trust me, I faltered a couple of days last week and had to recommit myself to the tasks at hand. I am committed to work 24/7 through Nov. 4th.

HERE’S WHY: I read today in mainstream media that there hasn’t been the early voter turn-out in the under 25 age group. I told my 22-year-old daughter and she reminded me why.

College students are deliberately waiting until November 4th so they can vote in swing states (PA, OH, FL). in same day registration adding to the poll confusion. My daughter continued to inform me that ALL of the pro-obama students she knows at Pitt (a lot) have not returned their absentee ballots in lieu of same day registration in this swing state. It’s all they talk about at the (night) clubs. She is also aware of people coming into PA to do the same..they are using dorm addresses.

I say we remind these kids who we are … “a better, stronger, more knowledgeable version of themselves”. When my daughter tries to outsmart me, I tell her “been there, done that … try again another day”.

ALSO, IT’S NOT TOO LATE A POLL WATCHER. Pittsburgh McCain offices are having a training session Saturday night at 9:00pm.

But I think it’s not a case of either or on the “what classes did he take while there” vs. “who paid for him to be there.” I think it’s a case of BOTH and ALL.

Wow. Just how in the hell is any Secretary of State going to be able to certify election results on November 4? Or even the 5th for that matter? Those new registrations must be confirmed somehow, to comply with federal law.

The reason voting registration had a cut off date a month or two prior to the elections was to allow that validation process to take place. We might be waiting until the end of the year before we get validated election results. Add to that mix the fact that Obama reportedly has 9000 lawyers standing by across the country, and it might not even happen before inaguration day.

Oh, and if the do certify immediately, that is going to draw a protest of lawsuit of some kind about their process.

After a long and careful consideration of all the implications and possible consequences of my actions today, I have decided to go through with this in the hope that our country can indeed be guided into the right direction. First, a little personal background… I am a female grad student in my 20’s, and a registered Democrat. During the primaries, I was a campaign worker for the Clinton candidacy. I believed in her and still do, staying all the way to the bitter end. And believe me, it was bitter. The snippets you’ve heard from various media outlets only grazed the surface. There was no love between the Clinton and Obama campaigns, and these feelings extended all the way to the top. Hillary was no dope though, and knew that any endorsement of Obama must appear to be a full-fledged one. She did this out of political survival. As a part of his overall effort to extend an olive branch to the Clinton camp and her supporters, Obama took on a few Hillary staff members into his campaign. I was one such worker. Though I was still bitterly loyal to Hillary, I still held out hope that he would choose her as VP. In fact, there was a consensus among us transplants that in the end, he HAD to choose her. It was the only logical choice. I also was committed to the Democratic cause and without much of a second thought, transferred my allegiance to Senator Obama.

I’m going to let you in on a few secrets here, and this is not because I enjoy the gossip or the attention directed my way. I’m doing this because I doubt much of you know the true weaknesses of Obama. Another reason for my doing this is that I am lost faith in this campaign, and feel that this choice has been forced on many people in this country. Put simply, you are being manipulated. That was and is our job – to manipulate you (the electorate) and the media (we already had them months ago). Our goal is to create chaos with the other side, not hope. I’ve come to the realization (as the campaign already has) that if this comes to the issues, Barack Obama doesn’t have a chance. His only chance is to foster disorganization, chaos, despair, and a sense of inevitability among the Republicans. It has worked up until now. Joe the Plumber has put the focus on the issues again, and this scares us more than anything. Being in a position to know these things, I will rate what the Obama campaign already knows are their weak links from the most important on down.

1 – Hillary voters. Internal polling suggests that at best, we are taking 70-75% of these voters. Other estimates are as low as 60% in some areas – particularly Ohio and western PA. My biggest problem with this campaign’s strategy was the decision NOT to offer Hillary the VP slot. She was ready and able to take this on, and would have campaigned enthusiastically for it. This selection would have also brought virtually all of her supporters into the fold, and the Obama campaign knew it. Though I have no way of knowing this for certain, and I do admit that I am relying on internal gossip, Senator Obama actually went against the advice of his top advisors. They wanted him to choose her, but the only significant opposition to this within the campaign came from Barack and Michelle Obama. In short, he let personal feelings take precedence over what was the most logical thing to do. Biden, by the way, has been a disaster inside the campaign. Everyone cringes whenever he gives an interview, and he creates so many headaches as the campaign has to stay on their toes in order to disseminate information and spin whatever it was he was trying to say.

2 – Sarah Palin. Don’t believe what the media is telling you about how horrible a choice she was. Again, our internal polling suggest that though she has had a minimal impact on pulling disaffected Hillary Democrats to McCain, she has done wonders in mobilizing the base for McCain. Another thing – we were completely taken by surprise with her pick. In my capacity in the research department, I looked into the backgrounds of Leiberman, Romney, Pawlenty and Ridge, and prepared briefs. I don’t mind bragging that we had pretty good stuff on all of them. With Leiberman, the plan was to paint him as an erratic old-timer who didn’t have a clue as to what he was doing (pretty much a clone of McCain). In Romney, we had him pegged as an evil capitalist who cut jobs. Pawlenty was going to get the “Quayle treatment”, or more precisely: a pretty face, with no valid experience. Tom Ridge was going to be used to provide a direct link from McCain to Bush. As you can see, we were quite enamored of all of them. Then the unexpected happened – Sarah Palin. We had no clue as to how to handle her, and bungled it from the start. Though through our misinformation networks, we have successfully taken some of the shine off. But let there be no doubt. She remains a major obstacle. She has singlehanded solidified “soft” Republican support, mobilized the McCain ground game, and has even had some appeal to independents and Hillary voters. This is what our internal polling confirms.

3 – Obama’s radical connections. Standards operating procedure has been to cry “racism” whenever one of these has been brought up. We even have a detailed strategy ready to go should McCain ever bring Rev. Wright up. Though by themselves they are of minimal worth, taken together, Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, Father Pfelger, and now, Rashid Khalili, are exactly what the campaign does not need. The more focus on them, the more this election becomes a referendum on Obama. The campaign strategy from the very beginning was to make this election a referendum on Bush. Strategists have been banging their head on how successfully McCain has distanced himself from Bush. This has worked, and right now the tide is in his favor. People are taking a new look at Barack Obama, and our experience when this happens tells us this is not good news at all. When they take a look at him, one or more of these names are bound to be brought up. McCain has wisely not harped on this in recent weeks and let voters decide for themselves. This was a trap we set for him, and he never fully took the bait. Senator Obama openly dared him to bring up Ayers. This was not due to machismo on the part of Obama, but actually due to campaign strategy. Though McCain’s reference to Ayers fell flat in the last debate, people in the Obama campaign were actually disappointed that he didn’t follow through on it more and getting into it. Our focus groups found this out: When McCain brings these connections up, voters are turned off to him. They’d rather take this into consideration themselves, and when this happens, our numbers begin to tank.

4 – The Bradley Effect. Don’t believe these polls for a second. I just went over our numbers and found that we have next to no chance in the following states: Missouri, Indiana, North Carolina, Florida, New Hampshire and Nevada. Ohio leans heavily to McCain, but is too close to call it for him. Virginia, Pennsylvania, Colorado, New Mexico and Iowa are the true “toss up states”. The only two of these the campaign feels “confident” in are Iowa and New Mexico. The reason for such polling discrepancy is the Bradley Effect, and this is a subject of much discussion in the campaign. In general, we tend to take a -10 point percentage in allowing for this, and are not comfortable until the polls give us a spread well over this mark. This is why we are still campaigning in Virginia and Pennsylvania! This is why Ohio is such a desperate hope for us! What truly bothers this campaign is the fact that some pollsters get up to an 80% “refuse to respond” result. You can’t possibly include these into the polls. The truth is, people are afraid to let people know who they are voting for. The vast majority of these respondents are McCain supporters. Obama is the “hip” choice, and we all know it.

As part of my research duties, I scour right wing blogs and websites to get somewhat of a “feel” as to what is being talked about on the other side. Much of it is nonsense, but there are some exceptions which give the campaign jitters. A spirited campaign has been made to infiltrate many pro-Hillary sites and discredit them. A more disorganized, but genuine effort has also been made to sow doubts among the unapologetically right wing sites such as redstate.com. Don’t you guys get it? This has been the Obama campaign’s sole strategy from the very beginning! The only way he wins is over a dispirited, disorganized, and demobilized opposition. This is how it has been for all of his campaigns. What surprises me is that everyone has fallen for it. You may point to the polls as proof of the inevitability of all of this. If so, you have fallen for the oldest trick in the book. How did we skew these polls, you might ask? It all starts with the media “buzz” which has been generated over the campaign. Many stories are generated on the powerful Obama ground game, and how many new voters were registered. None of this happens by coincidence. It is all part of the poll-skewing process. This makes pollsters change their mixes to reflect these new voters and tilt the mix more towards Democratic voters. What is not mentioned or reported on is not the “under-reported cell phone users or young voters” we hear so much about. What is underreported is you.

Go read it. I am telling it folks, it is ours …………… no normal person is going to elect the Mansorian candidate. Obama is a plant. Now get out the vote — we have massive voter fraud to overrcome.

Sent e-mails back to all my friends who thought I was kidding about voting McCain. Really trying to convince them how dangerous O could be to them. The State of the Campaign

If your television is tuned to cable news as frequently as ours are here at campaign headquarters, you have seen the pundits say John McCain and his campaign are done. And, if you’ve followed this race since the beginning, this is clearly a song you’ve heard before. I wanted to take some time today to give you some insight on the state of the race as we see it.

An AP poll released this morning revealed a very telling fact: ONE out of every SEVEN voters is undecided. That means, if 130 million voters turn out on Tuesday, 18.5 million of them have yet to make up their mind. With that many votes on the table and the tremendous movement we’ve seen in this race, I believe we are in a very competitive campaign.

Here’s why:

All the major polls have shown a tightening in the race and a significant narrowing of the numbers. In John McCain’s typical pattern, he is closing strong and surprising the pundits. We believe this race is winnable, and if the trajectory continues, we will surpass the 270 Electoral votes needed on Election Night.

National Polls: Major polls last week showed John McCain trailing by double-digit margins – but by the middle of this week, we were within the margin of error on four national tracking surveys. In fact, the Gallup national tracking survey showed the race in a virtual tie 2 days this week.

State Polls:

Iowa – Our numbers in Iowa have seen a tremendous surge in the past 10 days. We took Obama’s lead from the double digits to a very close race. That is why you see Barack Obama visiting the state in the final days, trying to stem his losses. It is too little, too late. Like many other Midwestern states, Iowa is moving swiftly into McCain’s column.

The Southwest – It is no secret that Republican candidates in the Southwest have to focus on winning over enough Latino and Hispanic voters in Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado to carry them to victory. John McCain has overcome challenges Republicans face, and has made up tremendous ground in these states with these voters. For these voters, the choice has become clear, and you have seen a big change in the numbers. John McCain is now winning enough voters to perform within the margin of error – putting these states within reach.

Colorado – Barack Obama tried to outspend our campaign in Colorado during the early weeks of October and finish off our candidate in Colorado. However, after our visit early this week, we saw a tremendous rebound in our poll position, and Colorado is back on the map.

Ohio and Pennsylvania – Everyone knows that vote rich Ohio and Pennsylvania will be key battlegrounds for this election. Between the two: 41 electoral votes and no candidate has gotten to the White House without Ohio. Senator McCain and Governor Palin have been campaigning non-stop in these key battleground states and tonight Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has pumped up our campaign at a rally in Columbus. Our position in these states is strong and undecided voters continue to have a very favorable impression of our candidate.
Obama campaign faces tremendous structural challenges in the final days of this campaign

Obama has a challenge hitting 50%: Barack Obama has not reached the 50% threshold in almost any the battleground state. He consistently is performing in the 45-48% range. When we look closely at the primary votes, we see a history of a candidate whose Election Day performance is often at or behind his final polling numbers. If this is true, our surge will leave Obama with even or under 50% of the vote on Election Day.

Early Vote: The Obama campaign has promised that their early vote and absentee efforts will change the composition of the electorate. They have sold the press on a story that first time voters will turn out in droves this election cycle. Again, the facts undermine their argument. In our analysis of early voting and absentee votes to date: The composition of the electorate has not changed significantly and most folks who have voted early are high propensity voters who would have voted regardless of the high interest in this campaign.

Expanding the Field: Obama is running out of states if you follow out a traditional model. Today, he expanded his buy into North Dakota, Georgia and Arizona in an attempt to widen the playing field and find his 270 Electoral Votes. This is a very tall order and trying to expand into new states in the final hours shows he doesn’t have the votes to win.
The Final Barnstorm

On Monday, we will have a 14 state rally with our candidates crisscrossing the country trying to turn out our voters and sway the final undecided voters. Governor Palin will hit Ohio, Missouri, Iowa, Colorado, Nevada and Alaska in the final day of campaigning, while Senator McCain will travel from Tampa, Florida, to Virginia, then Pennsylvania, Indiana, New Mexico, Nevada and finish the night in Prescott, Arizona. The enthusiasm and excitement we generate on Monday will be the electricity that powers our “Get Out the Vote” efforts on Tuesday.
On the Ground

Our field organization has tremendous energy and is out-performing the Bush campaign at the same time in 2004. This week our field organization crossed a huge threshold and began reaching more than one million voters per day, and by week’s end will have contacted more than 5 million voters. Our phone centers are full and our rate of voter contact is significantly out-pacing the Bush campaign in 2004. We have the resources to do the voter contact necessary to support the surge we are seeing in our polling with old fashioned grassroots outreach.
On the Airwaves
In the final days of the campaign, our television presence will be bigger and broader than the Obama campaign’s presence. The full Republican effort – the RNC’s Independent Expenditure and the McCain campaign will out-buy Barack Obama and the Democrats by just about 10 million dollars.
In short: the McCain campaign is surging in the final 72 hours. Our grassroots campaign is vibrant and communicating to voters in a very powerful way. Our television presence is strong. And, we have a secret ingredient – A candidate who will never quit and who will never stop fighting for you and for your families.

In these final hours, Senator McCain and Governor Palin are counting on you – they are counting on you to knock on doors, to make turnout calls, to contact your friends and neighbors. Get our voters to the polls and help John McCain fight for your and for our country. This is our last mission on behalf of John McCain and I have no doubt I can count on your effort and energy to carry us across the line to victory.

From what I am getting here in norcal, the Hispanic vote will go heavily Mccain, the Asian vote as well. Also, the AA community is nowhere near as solid as you have been led to believe. Most blkck friends of mine say about 15- 20% of AAs are going to vote McCAin and a lot are going to sit this out.
A big donor for the repubs told me that their internal polls have cali at 3% for “O”.
Most people are being very very quiet about how they are voting.

I write knowing I am taking the risk of alienating those who I have had relationships with for a short time in some cases, for many many years in others. As many of you know, I was supporting Hillary Clinton during the primaries. Being actively involved in the political process, I came to learn first hand about many things that might not be readily known if one were not so integrally involved. In sum, the end result of the Democratic primary process was a sham and a horrid degradation of democratic processes. However, this is far and beyond the means by which Senator Obama came to be the Democratic Party’s nominee. There are numerous issues surrounding him and his background that the media have simply failed to vet and which should give anyone pause.

Barack Obama has aligned himself with a cast of characters that includes hate mongers, anti-Semites, convicted felons and former terrorists. This is not rumor. These are the facts. He repeatedly minimizes these relationships or simply lies about them, changing his story as is politically convenient. His relationship with Reverend Wright and his church is one of many examples. First he attended church religiously every Sunday, then he only went sometimes because it was hard to sit in the pews with squirming children. Then he did not hear what Wright preached. Then, he heard it but did not agree with it.

This is a church that honored Louis Farrakhan with a Lifetime Achievement award. Surely there are thousands and thousands of black men and women who would be worthy of such an award. To honor Farrakhan, a man who thought Hitler was a great man, speaks volumes.

Obama says he is a friend to Israel, yet embraced the anti-Semitic rants of Reverend Wright for 20 years. If Clinton or McCain attempted such a ruse, they would have been blasted and out of the race before they could get to first base.

Obama has a disturbing tendency to lie on countless issues.

He favors transparency in government, yet we have yet to see his birth certificate, records from Occidental College, Columbia College, Harvard University, Selective Service registration, Medical Records, Illinois State Senate schedule, Harvard Law Review or University of Chicago articles.

He wants to spread the wealth around, yet records show that he donated less than 1% of his income to charity between 2002 and 2006. During the past two years his donations increased slightly, just in the knick of time as he started his Presidential bid. For those of us who may dislike about Sarah Palin, you may be interested to learn that she and her husband donated more money to charity than both Obama and Biden combined over the past many years.

Obama talks about equality and wanting to make our public schools better. Who wouldn’t want to do that? He is against school vouchers. Curiously, he sends his children to private school.

Obama talks of equal pay for equal work, yet pays his female staffers 78 cents on the dollar compared to his male staffers. Less than half of his top advisors are women. Conversely, John McCain pays his female staffers $1.04 on the dollar as compared to his male staffers and more than half of his top advisors are women.

Obama was in favor of public campaign financing, then he went back on his word and opted out.

He was strongly against FISA, then voted for it.

He was the only, I repeat, only, Senator to vote against a bill that would ensure that babies born alive due to botched abortions not be left to die.

He suggests that his values include helping those in need, yet he ignored the plight of families living in uninhabitable housing in his state senate district. Adding insult to injury, he developed a financially beneficial relationship with Tony Rezko (now a convicted felon), the slumlord of those buildings.

He used to speak of uniting Americans, now he urges his supporters to argue and get in people’s faces while calling those who do not support him, racists.

When asked tough questions by the media (a rare occurrence), he blasts them for doing so. Apparently, it is not acceptable to press him on matters of concern. Most recently, he booted off three reporters from the same three newspapers that endorsed McCain, from his campaign plane. Naturally, he gave an excuse for why.

He enlisted the power of the state in Missouri, including prosecutors and Sheriffs, to go after those who might dare to speak out against him with what he deemed to be lies.

When asked whether he would run for President after he won his US Senate seat, Barack Obama said he would not, citing the thing we all know to be true: Lack of experience. Yet once again, he changed his mind, and left his hollow words behind.

In an interview around that same time, when Michelle Obama was asked if her husband should run for President, she also said, no, stating, “He hasn’t done anything yet!”

Barack Obama has record of achievement. All we have are words. And he doesn’t keep his word.

This election year it’s down to the basics. Can we truly afford to have a neophyte with a history of dubious relationships and a dangerous view of national security to be elected to the highest office in the land? Should our next Commander-in-Chief be someone who couldn’t pass a national security clearance?

I’ve never voted for a Republican in my life, but this year I am voting for John McCain. I hope you will join me on Election Day.

I do think she was more embarrassed than anything…She maybe 75yrs young but, you would never know it….She doesn’t stop…I keep trying to slow her down…And, I really do feel sorry for the people who she engages in conversation at the grocery store about who they are supporting…Believe me if they were BO supporter’s before they sure won’t be after the conversation…Ha! I just had to laugh when the Richmond Times Dispatch reported the other day that in the Hampton Rhoads area of Va…flyers were circulating saying that Republicans were supposed to vote on Nov. 4th and Democrats on Nov.5th.
