So, let me get this straight. Obama opposes McCain’s Homeowners’ Rescue Plan — a plan aimed to keep working class people in their homes — because it will be TOO COSTLY FOR THE TAXPAYERS??
So, basically, Barack Obama now gets his talking points from Michelle Malkin?
Holy smokes.

Hi Puma’s
Just finished listening to the segment on Hannity’s radio show.
Corsi was able to get documents out of Kenya that “Appear to be originals” of where Odinga and “O” were communicating and hatching plans for Odinga’s campaign, that were generated from “O” senate office.
This is Huge!!! Corsi will be on Hannity and Colm’s on Monday. Corsi will arrive back in US on Sunday. We need to hire this guy some bodyguards!

An older gentleman who lives in my building has said he was going to vote for Obama because he doesn’t want to lose his Social Security and believes BO will save it.
Today, I sent him a simple email with the question, “What do Osama and Obama have in common? A; They both have friends who bombed the Pentagon.
Well he emailed me right back and said, “Hey, no political crap, please!”
I wrote back and Said, “Sure, no problem. But it’s not crap~~it happens to be the truth.”
I’m sure he’s gonna lose some sleep thinking about voting for BO now.

#7EXDemin Va: He definitely does understand it.
Obama is rejecting it because all current foreclosed or close to foreclosure homes, under the “plan” that is now law, can be bundled by those who own them and thrown in the pot for free refunds (what I am calling the buy out) to those who in fact are responsible for the situation. Anyone close to foreclosure, as Henrietta also said a week or so ago, will be foreclosed on, even if these people could work something out, because that will get the people who own the paper now bailout money. Why work with people close to foreclosure..and rememember we do not know yet how many more in the coming months this will be…when it is just easier to foreclose and get the pot of gold handout ….This man is a pimp for the financial people who made all this possible and Goldman Sachs was right in the middle of it…This sob will burn in hell..and if he does not then …I am a total fool for trying to live a decent life….

I, for one, will NOT be intimidated! This is more than a vieled threat when they say this. It is an actual threat against our freedom, in that if we exercise our right to vote however we see fit, they will attack us with violence in the streets………

On the car radio coming home I heard the song they played @ the repub. convention, “If you’re going through Hell”
If your going through hell
Keep on going, don’t slow down
If you’re scared don’t show it
You might get out
Before the devil even knows you’re there
Yeah, If you’re going through hell
Keep on moving, face that fire
Walk right through it
You might get out
Before the devil even knows you’re there.
I think that is McCain’s campaign strategy in a nut shell. He knows he’s up against forces of evil and I think he really believes that if we don’t stop fighting for what’s right and REFUSE to give in to the lies, justice will prevail.

Don’t count on this being the case. I saw a video on YouTube (don’t have the link handy with me at work) that showed Dick Morris (while he was on the payroll for Bill Clinton) having a meeting with Odinga and offering his services. Even though Odinga is wealthy — Dick Morris made a point of telling reporters in Kenya that he was offering his services pro-bono. Not sure what that was all about and what specifically he was helping him with. Sure generated a lot of questions in my mind.

Can’t recall when I last spoke with any of my Northern CA friends… recollect one of the things i said during our last conversations was: I’m working to defeat Obama.
I think the grief of recent losses… friends, political party, belief in shared democratic principles, belief in my liberal allies, media, the candidate of my lifetime: Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, … and more, have depressed and drained me more than I realize. If I don’t keep busy with activities I believe are moving us forward, it all just wells up in me, gets past my anger, and expresses in the form of tears.
So, here I am in my office, tears running down my face, not even caring if anyone should walk in.

Jerome Corsi was in Hannity radio show today w/new Odinga info
Sean Hannity interviewed Jerome Corsi, author of “Obama Nation,” on the phone from London. Corsi was detained in Kenya by immigration attempting to leave. He was there investigating BO’s ties to Odinga.
Corsi has some new info and documents he uncovered in Kenya which he will fully reveal and discuss in an upcoming interview w/Hannity in FOX next week (Monday, I believe). Sounds there might be some “explosive” info.
Corsi said that BO was in frequent contact with Odinga while Odinga was running for Prime Minister in Kenya in ’06-’07.
BO was advising Odinga on campaign strategies and how to win the elections. Odinga whipped up tribal animosity and violence to win and appealed to radical Muslims in Kenya. When he “lost,” he instigated violence, the burning Christian churches, etc.
In his association with Odinga, BO has “overlooked” Odinga’s radical Islam and communist links and his violent tactics.
……

Well it’s good to know others have seen it to.
And for everyone who is talking about the riots… ya realize that Obama and Odinga planned the riots as a means to pressure the winner into giving Odinga power in Kenya (since he promised to call off his supporters if his blackmail demands were met). As an added bonus to the riot strategy — Odinga’s supporters killed off many supporters that would oppose Odinga so that in the next election — Odinga is guaranteed a win. The ultimate Obama tactic of eliminating the opponent to make winning easy.
And if that ain’t a scary thought — consider this. Obama showed Odinga how to find out what civilians weren’t supporting him and to keep track so the riots could target specific victims. Also keep in mind, with the help of the Bush administration — Obama has killed the 4th amendment rights for our privacy. So Obama might be making similar lists of who is against him in this country. All part of Obama/Ayers plans to kill Democracy, kill capitalism — viva communism (small “c” as Ayers likes to say).

We’re getting at least 2 calls a week trying to sway us to BO, at least 1 mailer and the yard sigs are everywhere. I really have the urge to stop and pull them out of the ground on the public areas most mornings on the way to work. The BoBOTs here are pretty mean in person too. I guess they feel safe here.

Just thinking….. if the worst comes to pass, Texas should secede.
“Texas is a free and independent State … All political power is inherent in the people … they have at all times the inalienable right to alter their government in such manner as they might think proper.”
— Texas Constitution (1876)
“Governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed…Whenever government becomes destructive to life, liberty, or property [i.e., the pursuit of happiness], it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it… It is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”

#108notfollwinthe pied piper: We already tried that, remember? Unfortunately the issue was wrong, but the principle of a state having the right to secede I say still is real. Part of the problem in the country is the overwheaning and overriding control of the Federal Government via Congress and Senate over the rights of states. There is not more balance. If that were not so, The DNC could not have gotten away with what they did re Florida. But this is a discussion beyond this board…except as it helps people imagine an out if this fraud is elected. So let us not imagine him elected…
Let us imagine him being sent back to the Senate. How about that?

Just a joke…
HISTORY LESSON FOR TODAY
Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter. The two most important events in all of history were the discovery of beer, which came first, and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundations of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:
1. Liberals, and
2. Conservatives
Once beer was discovered, it required men to produce more of it, and grain to make it, and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor the aluminum can had been invented yet, so while our early ancestors were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That’s how villages were formed.
Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer, which was the beginning of what is now known as the conservative movement. Other men who were weaker and less skilled at
hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q’s and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the liberal movement.
Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that the conservatives provided.
Over the years conservatives, because of their ability to provide, came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the most stubborn animal on earth, the jackass.
Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white or pink wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and saucy French food are standard liberal fare. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher
testosterone levels than their men.
Most social workers, personal injury lawyers, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn’t fair to make the pitcher also bat.
Conservatives drink mainly domestic beer, mostly Bud and American Ale. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, Marines, and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.
Liberals produce little or nothing, but are sometimes hired by conservatives who own companies because they are told to do so by the liberal judges and politicians, who like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production.
Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America . They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get something for nothing.
Here ends today’s lesson in the History of Humanity.
It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it.
A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to piss them off. And there you have it. Let your next action reveal your true self.
Henerietta 10.08.08 at 6:53 pm
I think it is time that the states all stop funding the DNC and the RNC primaries. I know that is radical thinking, but when either or both parties act like they are above constitutional requriements because they are ‘private’ entities, it is time for them to pay for their own elections.

Gallup Weekly Aggregate
Well Gallup finally posted the aggregate for the week of Sept. 29 – Oct. 5 and there is nothing new. They show McCain 43% and BO 49% and they are sampling 17% more Democrats than Republicans. The correlation with McCains numbers still holds. According to the aggregate, McCain lost ground with the party cross voters both ways.
That does not tell us about the numbers today except that I would guestimate, with more confidence, that they are sampling around 30% more Democrats than Republicans at this time. Only they know for sure.

#126Henrietta: Precisely. You articulate a states right issue very clearly. States pay for the primaries. And, it not matter whether it had been a Republican led or Democratic led legislature, they had the right according to state law to set the time of the primary. And, here, essentially, a non-profit, overrules a state law..and there is no federal law to intervene in that matter. Why?
Because Congress and the Senate are served by having Federal law serve national parties. I looked for days for legal links, laws on the Federal books to solve the matter…they are not there. and where they might have been, no one used them…Your thinking is not radical , it is reform thinking. And it is accurate on this issue.
Lest anyone forget, the Republican National Comittee did a very similar thing to their voters…but nobody reacted because its repercussions were not grave. That is no way to determine the legality of an act or at least the fairness of it. In the old days, when I was growing up, state parties had more power than the National party…state parties determined the candidates..and that is why conventions were so interesting and real!
Over the years this has been turned upside down. This is an issue Ihope PumaPac pursues after this election and in its life as it goes forward…to reform.

Just a shining example of media sexism – local style.
Here in Denver we have a radio station called KBPI run by a bunch of knuckle dragging, mouth breathers. Anyway, against my better judgement I flipped over to their channel on my way home this evening and heard this -
DJ Read ‘news article’ that said a Muslim by the name of Mohammed who is 84 years old has 86 wives, but Islam only allows 4 wives. The call in question was, if you could have 4 wives who would they be? The callers rattled off famous women like Demi Moore etc. When the DJ asked which one would do the house cleaning the response was that he would have other ones do the cleaning so his main 4 could stay rested up in his bedroom. They all had a good laugh. I guess they think sex slavery of women is just fine, and domestic slavery is too.
If you want to take a look at the georgous hunk (cough) who thinks this shit is ok go here and click on Uncle Nasty

I think things are going to start turning around now that the news about OB being involved with Ayers, distributing money to radical organizations that was supposed to go to students education that Ayers gave him. That’s going to be on the news alot. Also, Hannity’s going to keep at it, I am sure. I am going to send my uncle, who lives in another state, who dosen’t get Fox News a DVD of Sunday’s Hannity’s America. Plus I am going to tape some more things on there. All he can get is CNN. I really want to show him that CNN doesn’t report the whole truth about OB and tries to make him look like some kind of saint. They try to hide anything and everything they can.

To me, this election is about America being stolen from us under our very own noses by Obaman and his followers.
So you asked what does Country First mean ?
To me, it is not the issues or political affiliations.
It is an ideal. A feeling of belonging to the greatest country on earth. Its people, its land – everything wonderful that is in you and me. Warts and all.
It is intangible – as Reagan said, a shining beacon on top of the hill.
What does Country First mean to all of you ?

Freddie – Country First ? To me it means being a former Marine and flying back and forth on the med evac to Panama , treating wounded Navy seals and sometimes being the last person they saw on earth . It means that , even though my Country didn’t want me to serve her because I’m gay , I will forever freeze in my tracks and stand at attention when I hear the Star Spangled Banner , and I will always shed a tear when I hear Tapps .
It means I get alump in my throat the size of Texas when I see a flagged drapped coffin , and think of my nephew serving in Iraq .

What it boils down to is this: Obama’s lead is not statistically valid and significant, even the 9 point spread that Gallup showed today. That is, not unless they could verify that the sampling of Democrats and Republicans is going to reflect the actual voters. And they just do not know!
What bothers me most is being messed with by Big Brother.
bluesgal 10.08.08 at 7:34 pm
I think McCain and the Republicans should bring up that OB is OUT OF TOUCH with small town people. Of couse we all know what he said behind closed doors. Then when he got caught and it came out, he said in Indiana, Oh, I believe all small towns are like that.
Hey OB, I am not a racist, nor bitter, and I certainly don’t like you making fun of my religion.

No problem. I understand. I just told a BO worker to stop calling our home and that I would never vote for him.

I have long wished that McCain was a democrat. He thinks like one of us……………….or rather, he thinks like we used to think before we got taken over by the radicals………………..
nicfit 10.08.08 at 7:35 pm
speaking of the Bradley effect and the feeling we’re all having that the polls are off, might I suggest a prowl on Fox news to that effect?
I swear, they are eternally bumming me out with their nonstop negative poll numbers obama’s winning stuff. Honestly, I think they’ll regret jumping on the MSM bandwagon after nov 4th and being proven wrong for their sky-is-falling approach.
As for now, I had been in such a good mood til I saw them harping on mccain again. I had to open up a bottle of wine.

#162 mountainsong – I think we are doing it for Country First not because of either candidate. We are doing what we do everyday to make sure our country is not taken over by a candidate with anti American ulterior motives.
When I cast my vote on Nov 4 for McCain, I will be thinking about Obama with a prayer … ” Keep the #@* fudge out of the White House”
prplvette85 10.08.08 at 7:35 pm
ok, so I have had a very long day. I was so pissed last night after that so called debate, that I knew where this huge obiteme banner was. I have a friend that owns a bucket truck. So…….stealth puma that I thought I was at 3am , I got him and the truck, went to the banner, which by the way is right off the expressway. So….I get in the bucket and he raises me up….and I spray painted horns and a pitchfork….and put a big circle with a slash across the seal.
it looked great! he lowered me down, and while I was admiring my work, a cop pulls up…..mind you he had left, and I was standing by my car getting ready to drive home. Well the cop had me red handed so to speak
After admitting what I did, telling him it was not private property….it was just a banner, which by the way I said, exceeds the sign limit size for this area…..and I am just doing a public service. I was ready to have a friggin heart attack. The cop told me “relax…I cant stand that banner…it is where the Hillary banner used to be! I am voting for McCain…..get out of here! I gave her a puma flyer….and got the hell out of there.
Needless to say, I am very tired and did not prowl today. My blood pressure needs to get back to normal. So maybe tomorrow, I will be better

Can anyone confirm this or was I hearing things?

Henrietta-
That’s funny you should say that about mccain. In my former life as a repub I had long wished Lieberman was a repub. I guess there are just a certain few politicians who really do stand apart from their party’s status quo. I’d say we are all better off for their independance.

Web Archives Confirm Barack Obama Was Member Of Socialist ‘New Party’ In 1996
UPDATE: WE WILL POST AT LEAST ONE MORE SOURCE COMING TOMORROW! Subscribe to feeds or bookmark page.
In June sources released information that during his campaign for the State Senate in Illinois, Barack Obama was endorsed by an organization known as the Chicago “New Party”. The ‘New Party’ was a political party established by the Democratic Socialists of America (the DSA) to push forth the socialist principles of the DSA by focusing on winnable elections at a local level and spreading the Socialist movement upwards. The admittedly Socialist Organization experienced a moderate rise in numbers between 1995 and 1999. By 1999, however, the Socialist ‘New Party’ was essentially defunct after losing a supreme court challenge that ruled the organizations “fusion” reform platform as unconstitutional.
After allegations surfaced in early summer over the ‘New Party’s’ endorsement of Obama, the Obama campaign along with the remnants of the New Party and Democratic Socialists of America claimed that Obama was never a member of either organization. The DSA and ‘New Party’ then systematically attempted to cover up any ties between Obama and the Socialist Organizations. However, it now appears that Barack Obama was indeed a certified and acknowledged member of the DSA’s New Party.
On Tuesday, I discovered a web page that had been scrubbed from the New Party’s website. The web page which was published in October 1996, was an internet newsletter update on that years congressional races. Although the web page was deleted from the New Party’s website, the non-profit Internet Archive Organization had archived the page.
From the October 1996 Update of the DSA ‘New Party’:
“New Party members are busy knocking on doors, hammering down lawn signs, and phoning voters to support NP candidates this fall. Here are some of our key races…
Illinois: Three NP-members won Democratic primaries last Spring and face off against Republican opponents on election day: Danny Davis (U.S. House), Barack Obama (State Senate) and Patricia Martin (Cook County Judiciary).”
Link To The New Party Update
Beyond the archived web page from the Socialist New Party is the recognition by the “Progressive Populist” magazine in November 1996 that Obama was indeed an acknowledged member of the Socialist Party.
“New Party members and supported candidates won 16 of 23 races, including an at-large race for the Little Rock, Ark., City Council, a seat on the county board for Little Rock and the school board for Prince George’s County, Md. Chicago is sending the first New Party member to Congress, as Danny Davis, who ran as a Democrat, won an overwhelming 85% victory. New Party member Barack Obama was uncontested for a State Senate seat from Chicago. ”
Link To The November 1996 Progressive Populist Article
The Democratic Socialist Party of America published in their July/August Edition of New Ground 47 Newsletter.
“The Chicago New Party is increasely becoming a viable political organization that can make a different in Chicago politics. It is crucial for a political organization to have a solid infrastructure and visible results in its political program. The New Party has continued to solidify this base…
the NP’s ’96 Political Program has been enormously successful with 3 of 4 endorsed candidates winning electoral primaries. All four candidates attended the NP membership meeting on April 11th to express their gratitude. Danny Davis, winner in the 7th Congressional District, invited NPers to join his Campaign Steering Committee. Patricia Martin, who won the race for Judge in 7th Subcircuit Court, explained that due to the NP she was able to network and get experienced advice from progressives like Davis. Barack Obama, victor in the 13th State Senate District, encouraged NPers to join in his task forces on Voter Education and Voter Registration.”
Link To DSA Article
Obama’s membership within the ‘New Party’ is disturbing as even Green Party members attacked the DSA and New Party as nothing more than a fringe group. The New Party had hoped to implement Socialist Rule in the United States and was established to counteract the influence of a Democratic Party that they viewed as too moderate and too centered. Now it seems that nearly 10 years after the socialist party fell apart, their strategy of upward growth has reached the White House. Obama’s ties to the DSA’s New Party is beyond just an association it is outright membership, as clearly defined by the parties August 1996 newsletter, in an outright Socialist organization.

Next tinme you want to get nervouas about the gallup polls. Here are some numbers fromthier own website.
According to gall
19% of Liberal/moderate republican will vote for OB.
4% Of conservative republicans will votefor ob.
However according to their general poll a total of 8% of republicans will vote for ob. ?
2% of liberal democrats, 8% of moderate democrats and 16% of conservative democrats will vote for McCain.
However 87% of democrats in their general poll will vote for “O”. That makes 113%
Hmmm. Me thinks we are being conned here.

NoHillaryNoVote 10.08.08 at 8:08 pm
I posted this downstairs by accident – thought I was on the current discussion – so reposting here.
I heard something interesting on CNN tonight. They had a panel on including the CNN anchor Soledad Obrien.
Soledad was in the room last night with the undecided voters who were recording their reactions to the debate in live time.
The news panel was reviewing the results from last night, but indicated that there was one result that had them puzzled.
Apparently more people in the undecided group said they thought Obama won the debate; and more of the undecideds said they expected Obama to win;
(ok – here comes the good part)
However when they were asked who they would vote for President if they had to vote today – more people said McCain!!
The news panel discussing this result was acting astonished and confused as to how the group members could say Obama won the debate but then the majority would vote for McCain.
The news panel’s conclusion was some off-the-wall rationale- I can’t even recall what they said
There apparently were not follow up questions so Soledad could not explain the individuals reasons.
I think this may be exactly what is going to happen on election day. People will be able to describe what they perceive to be public opinion – which appears to be in favor of Obama (based on what they hear due to the media’s bias).
But when the undecided voters go into the booth to vote more will NOT choose to vote for Obama. They will instead vote for McCain-Palin. And to the Democrat party’s surprise – despite all the poll numbers – Obama will lose!
Just thinking about that day makes me smile…
